WWW.FOXNEWS.COMLegal immigrant's status revoked over campaign of violence, gang support in Haiti: ICEFIRST ON FOX: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed to Fox News that it has arrested a lawful permanent U.S. resident for alleged crimes related to Haitian gang activity and immigration fraud."On July 17, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcements Homeland Security Investigations arrested Pierre Reginald Boulos, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S. and citizen of Haiti, for violating the Immigration and Nationality Act contributing to the destabilization of Haiti," ICE told Fox.Boulos is accused of contributing to violence and gang support in Haiti, which ICE says destabilized the country and could have "serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States.""The Department of State has determined that certain individuals with U.S. lawful permanent resident status have supported and collaborated with Haitian gang leaders connected to Viv Ansanm, a Haitian foreign terrorist organization," a release from ICE stated. "The United States will not allow individuals to enjoy the benefits of legal status in our country while they are facilitating the actions of violent organizations or supporting criminal terrorist organizations abroad."PREVIOUSLY SELF-DEPORTED IRANIAN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT PICKED UP AFTER REFUSING ICE ARREST IN TEXASThe federal agency also said that Boulos failed to mention his involvement in founding a political party in Haiti called Mouvement pour la Transformation et la Valorisation d'Haiti (MTVAyiti), and that he was referred by the Haitian government's Unit for the Fight Against Corruption for allegedly misusing loans. Those omissions, according to ICE, can constitute immigration fraud and justify his deportation.TRUMP ADMIN MAY NOT DEPORT MIGRANT TO CONGO DURING IMMIGRATION PROCEEDINGS, FEDERAL JUDGE RULES"These new actions demonstrate the Trump administrations firm commitment to protecting the American people, advancing our national security interests, and promoting regional security and stability," said ICE.Boulos is being held by ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations detention in Miami. The case was investigated by the U.S. Department of States Diplomatic Security Service and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate."MTVAyiti is a political movement inspired by the Desalinian ideals of National Unity, Social Justice, National Sovereignty and the rebuilding of the Economy. The movement has its roots in the values of Pride, Greatness, Efficiency and Rationality of King Christophe," according to the website of the party founded by Boulos.Jean-Jacques Dessalines, referenced in the party's ideals, was a Haitian revolutionary and founding father of the nation after its independence in 1804.0 Comments 0 Shares 28 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMFederal judge blocks Trump administration from defunding Planned ParenthoodA judge on Monday temporarily blocked the Trump administration from stripping Medicaid funds from Planned Parenthood after Congress and President Donald Trump agreed to partially defund the nonprofit through passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.Judge Indira Talwani of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts said in her order partially granting a preliminary injunction that the bill unconstitutionally punishes Planned Parenthood member organizations that do not provide abortions. The injunction will risk "at most minimal harmfinancial or otherwise" to the Trump administration while the lawsuit proceeds," Talwani, an Obama appointee, wrote.SENATE PARLIAMENTARIAN OKS BAN ON PLANNED PARENTHOOD FEDERAL FUNDING IN TRUMP MEGABILLTalwanis order arose from a lawsuit brought by Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider, over the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, a massive budget bill that passed Congress this month with no Democrat support. Trump signed the bill into law on July 4.A provision in the bill stripped Medicaid funding from Planned Parenthood, which the nonprofit said could force it to close about 200 of its 600 facilities and deprive about half of its customers, more than one million people, of services that do not include abortion.Planned Parenthood attorneys noted in court filings that Medicaid typically does not cover abortion.JUDGE TORCHED FOR PLANNED PARENTHOOD ORDER: HER COURT LOOKS LIKE A FAST FOOD DRIVE-THRUThe attorneys argued that cancer and sexually transmitted infections would go undetected, especially for low-income people, and that more unplanned pregnancies would occur because of a lack of contraception access. They said the consequences of losing Medicaid funding "will be grave."Department of Justice (DOJ) attorneys had previously argued in court filings that the purpose of the budget provision was to stop "federal subsidies for Big Abortion" by freezing federal funds for certain Medicaid recipients who provide abortions. Weakening Planned Parenthood has been one of the pro-life movement's leading priorities since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.Talwani granted a temporary restraining order two weeks ago in favor of Planned Parenthood. The judge initially offered no explanation for her decision, a move that led to widespread backlash among Republicans who described it as judicial overreach. Days later, Talwani offered more context in a subsequent order.PLANNED PARENTHOOD USING 'LOOPHOLE' TO GET MINORS GENDER TRANSITIONS WITHOUT PARENTS' OK: WATCHDOGThe preliminary injunction will leave in place the pause on defunding Planned Parenthood indefinitely, but the Trump administration is likely to appeal the order to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.DOJ attorneys had previously argued to the court that blocking a measure that was passed by Congress and signed by the president was an extraordinary move and unjustified."Beyond the futility of the claims on the merits, Planned Parenthood fails to demonstrate imminent irreparable harm to justify an injunction, asserting only classically reparable economic injury and irrelevant potential harm to patients, who are third parties not before this Court," DOJ attorneys wrote.0 Comments 0 Shares 28 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMAnother high profile contributor reportedly leaves the Washington Post amid fallout from editorial changesWashington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart has reportedly accepted a buyout and is leaving the Jeff Bezos-owned paper after nearly two decades.Capehart, who won a Pulitzer Prize for editorial writing with the New York Daily News in 1999, has served as an editorial writer for the Washington Post for over 18 years. He was a member of the editorial board until 2022, when he left the board over a dispute about an editorial on Georgias voting laws. He is leaving the paper after accepting a buyout, Axios reported Monday. The columnist, who also hosts the MSNBC Show "Weekends with Jonathan Capehart" and provides commentary on the PBS "NewsHour," is the latest high-profile Washington Post editorial contributor to exit the paper.A glut of writers -- Ann Telnaes, David Shipley, Ruth Marcus, Eugene Robinson and, just earlier this month, Joe Davidson all departed the beltway paper as concerns mount over the Washington Posts editorial slant taking a rightward shift following President Trumps re-election.WASHINGTON POSTS NEW OPINION EDITOR PROMISES AMBITIOUS CHANGES, ECHOES JEFF BEZOS TALKING POINTSFollowing Trumps re-election, Washington Post owner and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos announced that the editorial section of the paper would be changing course, prompting then-opinion editor David Shipley to leave."We are going to be writing every day in support and defense of two pillars: personal liberties and free markets. Well cover other topics too of course, but viewpoints opposing those pillars will be left to be published by others," Bezos posted on X in Feb 2025.Bezos changes led to a sharp backlash in his newsroom, with staffers telling Fox News Digital earlier this month that morale has collapsed at the paper. Washington Post Executive Editor Matt Murray announced a buyout program for staffers seeking to leave the paper in May."People are shellshocked and keeping their heads down," one Post staffer toldFox News Digital.Washington Post publisher and CEO Will Lewis sent a memo to staff encouraging those who took issue with the papers new editorial direction to take the buyouts.JEFF BEZOS' TENURE AS WASHINGTON POST OWNER IN SPOTLIGHT AS PAPER GRAPPLES WITH LOW MORALE, STAFFER EXODUS"I understand and respect, however, that our chosen path is not for everyone, thats exactly why we introduced the voluntary separationprogram. As we continue in this new direction, I want to ask those who do not feel aligned with thecompanysplan to reflect on that," Lewis wrote in the memo.Davidson, a post contributor who authored the Post's "Federal Insider" column for 17 years, announced he was quitting the paper in a Facebook post titled "Quitting The Washington Post -- or did it quit me?" He said that he decided to exit the paper after having a column rejected for being "too opinionated."Capeharts relationship with the Washington Post has been increasingly acrimonious. In his recent memoir, "Yet Here I Am: Lessons from a Black Man's Search for Home," the former columnist trashed many of his colleagues at The Posts editorial board. He accused Washington Post editorial board member Karen Tumulty of "robbing me of my humanity" in a disagreement over language used in an op-ed.The former Washington Post contributor has a history of vicious anti-Trump criticism. At one point, he said that MAGA was far more "worrisome" for the country than any foreign threat America could face in a 2021 segment on PBS NewsHour.Fox News Digital reached out to the Washington Post and Capehart for comment.0 Comments 0 Shares 28 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMThomas Fugate, 22-year-old Trump DHS appointee, addresses backlash over age, inexperienceFIRST ON FOX: Thomas Fugate, a 22-year-old Trump appointee, spoke with Fox News Digital after being cast into the spotlight and criticized over his young age, inexperience and role inPresident Donald Trumps administration.Fugate's official title at theDepartment of Homeland Security (DHS) is Special Assistant. However, several outlets reported that Fugate was the head of DHSs Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3). CP3 is DHS' lead office for terrorism and targeted violence prevention. The young appointee and DHS denied those claims to Fox News Digital."All decisions came down from policy leadership, [the] undersecretary, deputy secretary, and chief of staff," Fugate emphasized.SECOND SUSPECT ARRESTED IN CBP OFFICER SHOOTING HAS LENGTHY CRIMINAL PAST, DHS SAYSFugate went on to say that CP3, a program which wasgutted by an $18.5 million cut last week, has a heavily reduced role compared to previous administrations as Trumps DHS has downsized the division."Before I got there, [CP3] was already flagged for waste, fraud, and abuse," Fugate explained. "Were not talking about a massive office of 80 people with a wide range of functions. Were talking about a very niche and small, specialized office."Fugate said the office is mainly focused on administering a grant program."Its only when you take it out of context and blow it out of proportion that it then becomes a massive problem where people think Im practically running the FBI," Fugate continued.DHS also told Fox News Digital that Fugate was never in a position of leadership within the program, and even referred to him as a "low-level" staffer.NOEM BLAMES 'SANCTUARY' POLICIES FOR MIGRANT ACCUSED OF SHOOTING OFF-DUTY CBP OFFICER"This entire smear campaign around Thomas Fugate is a smokescreen to bury the rampant grift and waste festering in the CP3 program under the Biden Administrations watch," DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox. "Fugate never held the director role at CP3, and to imply that he had operational control or exercised leadership over CP3 is simply untrue, as we have consistently told them.""The fact a low-level 22-year-old staffer was able to identify the misappropriated spending and the subsequent violent reaction to defend this woke, partisan spending by those on the left tells you exactly what this program was really being used for," McLaughlin said.As for his young age and experience, Fugate noted that he started out with DHS atBorder and Immigration when the Undersecretary of Policy asked him to temporarily assist at CP3.Prior to that, he interned at the Heritage Foundation before graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Politics and Law last May.0 Comments 0 Shares 46 Views 0 Reviews

"He was attached to the machine for almost an hour before they could release the chain from the machine."Jones-McAllister detailed her last moments with her husband in an interview shared by The Big Weekend Show."I said, Could you turn off the machine, call 9-1-1, do something, just turn this damn thing off? He waved goodbye to me and his whole body went limp," Jones-McAllister described.Bodden said that her dad passed away on July 17, losing his battle after "having several heart attacks following the tragic accident."The Nassau County Police Department said the investigation is ongoing.Nassau Open MRI told Fox News Monday morning that they had no comment.MRI machines generate intense magnetic fields that can attract and heat up metal objects, creating serious hazards.FLORIDA MOM KILLED, THREE SMALL CHILDREN INJURED AFTER TRUCK COLLIDES WITH THEIR VAN FOLLOWING TIRE BLOWOUTNassau Open MRI states on its website that anything metallic should be removed prior to an MRI, including hearing aids, partial plates, dentures, jewelry and hair pins.On a web page detailing the benefits and risks of MRIs, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) notes that "the strong, static magnetic field will attract magnetic objects (from small items such as keys and cell phones, to large, heavy items such as oxygen tanks and floor buffers) and may cause damage to the scanner or injury to the patient or medical professionals if those objects become projectiles."The FDA also notes that "adverse events" related to MRI scans are "very rare."Kenneth J. Perry, M.D., an emergency medicine attending physician in Charleston, South Carolina, told Fox News Digital that the best way to prevent these types of accidents is to have a "robust MRI protocol" in place.Fox News Digital reached out to Nassau Open MRI requesting comment.Fox News' Melissa Rudy contributed to this report.0 Comments 0 Shares 41 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMJon Stewart blasts CBS for canceling Colbert's show, calls it 'path of least resistance' for corporate merger"The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart lambasted CBS on Monday over its decision to cancel "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," dismissing the claim that it was a financial decision and not meant to appease President Donald Trump."Obviously, I am certainly not the most objective to comment on this matter," Stewart conceded before revisiting Colbert's late-night rise on Comedy Central on "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report," before singing his praises at CBS."Watching Stephen exceed all expectations in the role and become the number one late-night show on network television has been an undeniable great pleasure for me as a viewer and as his friend, and now Stephen has been canceled for purely financial reasons, Stewart said while casting doubt on the network's claim.Comedy Central and CBS are sister networks under the Paramount umbrella.CBS CANCELS THE LATE SHOW, STEPHEN COLBERT TO END PROGRAM IN MAY 2026Stewart acknowledged late-night TV broadly is struggling financially, but stressed that "when your industry is faced with changes, you don't just call it a day.""The fact that CBS didn't try to save their number one-rated network late-night franchise that's been on the air for over three decades is part of what's making everybody wonder, Was this purely financial, or maybe the path of least resistance for your $8 billion merger?'" he asked."Was killing a show that you know rankled a fragile and vengeful president so insecure, suffering terribly from a case of chronic penis insufficiency," Stewart said. "I believe CBS lost the benefit of the doubt two weeks prior when they sold out their flagship news program to pay an extortion fee to said president."CBS STAFFER CALLS STEPHEN COLBERT'S CANCELLATION A CHILLING OF FREE SPEECHStewart said he understood making decisions with an $8 billion merger at stake, but grew serious, saying, "The shows that you now seek to cancel, censor and control, a not insignificant portion of that $8 billion value came from those f---ing shows.""That's what made you that money! Shows that say something, shows that take a stand, shows that are unafraid," he said. "We try. We f---ing try every night. And if you believe, as corporations or as networks, you can make yourselves so innocuous, that you can serve a gruel so flavorless that you will never again be on the boy king's radar, why will anyone watch you, and you are f---ing wrong."The Comedy Central host went on to say critics won't find a "smoking gun email or phone call" to answer why Colbert's show was being canceled but that the answer is "in the fear and pre-compliance that is gripping all of America's institutions at this very moment.""This is not the moment to give in. I'm not giving in. I'm not going anywhere, I think," Stewart said, jokingly alluding to how Comedy Central is also owned by CBS' parent company Paramount. "To those institutions, to those corporations and advertisers and universities and law firms, all of them. If you still think that bending the knee to Trump will save you, I have one thing to say sack the f--- up."COLBERT'S LATE SHOW WAS REPORTEDLY LOSING CBS $40M A YEAR AS CRITICS SPECULATE POLITICS DROVE CANCELLATIONStewart finished his monologue with a gospel choir behind him, preaching to the audience, "If you're afraid and you protect your bottom line, I've got but one thing to say, just one little phrase: go f--- yourself!"CBS shocked the nation with its announcement last week that it would end "The Late Show" in May 2026. Liberal critics accused CBS and Paramount of being politically motivated, but a report from Puck's Matt Belloni showed that Colbert's show was costing the network $40 million a year and that it had been running on a whopping $100 million budget per season.Stewart himself admitted last week he doesn't know this future at Comedy Central under future ownership.Colbert's cancellation comes on the heels of Paramount settling Trump's lawsuit against CBS News over its editing of a "60 Minutes" interview with Kamala Harris last year. Colbert was among the voices who were harshly critical of the move, likening it to paying a bribe with the merger looming and needing administration approval.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPMeanwhile, Fox News Channel's "Gutfeld!" has surged to become late-night's highest-rated program. In the second quarter of 2025, the show notched 3 million viewers and 365,000 in the 25-54 age demographic at the 10 p.m. ET hour, putting it ahead of "The Late Show," "The Daily Show," and late-night programs ABC and NBC.0 Comments 0 Shares 31 Views 0 Reviews
