AOC welcomes socialist Mamdani to nation's capital as Dem leaders withhold endorsements
The political earthquake that shook the Democratic Party when Zohran Mamdani won New York City's primary last month has rattled its way down to Washington, D.C., as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., hosts a "Communication and Organizing Skillshare Breakfast" on Wednesday morning.Ocasio-Cortez, the progressive champion and youngest woman elected to Congress, was an early endorser of Mamdani, the 33-year-old so-called democratic socialist who has yet to land key endorsements from New York Democratic leaders. The Bronx and Queens representative campaigned with Mamdani in New York City ahead of his primary win last month, and on Wednesday, the "Squad" member is welcoming Mamdani to the nation's capital.According to a flier obtained by The Washington Post, Ocasio-Cortez and Mamdani are hosting breakfast at 8 a.m. on Wednesday at the National Democratic Club. While the Democratic National Convention (DNC) shares the same address as Wednesday's breakfast, the DNC did not organize the event.REPUBLICANS RELENTLESSLY USE MAMDANI AS SOCIALIST CUDGEL TO BASH VULNERABLE DEMOCRATSOcasio-Cortez confirmed the breakfast meeting on Tuesday, telling reporters she is eager for people to meet him "face to face" and "hear what he has to say about making New York affordable for working people," while championing issues like rent freezes, affordable childcare and grocery prices.MAMDANI'S PRIMARY WIN EXPOSES DEMOCRAT DIVIDE AS TOP LEADERS WITHHOLD ENDORSEMENTS"I think a lot of people just need to get to know folks before they issue an endorsement. I hope that this conversation can be constructive to bring the party together and rally behind our nominee," Ocasio-Cortez said. Mamdani has yet to secure endorsements from House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer."I'm excited to go to Washington, D.C., to speak with Congressman Jeffries, to speak with Senator Schumer, to speak with leaders of our party across the country," Mamdani said Tuesday. But while Mamdani is eager to meet with Jeffries and Schumer in Washington, no such meeting has been reported. When Fox News asked Schumer if he was meeting with Mamdani in Washington on Wednesday, he said, "I spoke with him last night and will be meeting in New York City."And on Monday, Jeffries told reporters, "I'm scheduled to meet with the Democratic nominee at the end of the week back home in Brooklyn."Last month, New York Democrats congratulated Mamdani on securing the Democratic nomination and confirmed they were having discussions with the young socialist, who would be New York City's first Muslim mayor if elected this November.Rep. Adriano Espaillat, D-N.Y., endorsed Mamdani last week after backing former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the primary. Cuomo announced on Monday his decision to stay in the mayoral race as an independent."We're past the primary, and the people of New York City have spoken," Epsaillat said Thursday. "If there is a common denominator in every decision that I've made since I began to represent this district, in terms of supporting someone, its called the Democratic Party."Ocasio-Cortez agreed Democrats are "stronger when we are united" when speaking with reporters Tuesday."Zohran Mamdani is the Democratic candidate for mayor of New York City, and as a Democrat, I am rallying behind our nominee," Ocasio-Cortez said.Rep. Tom Suozzi, D-N.Y., said he would not attend Ocasio-Cortez's breakfast on Wednesday. Suozzi has emerged as a vocal opponent to Mamdani's campaign among New York Democrats.Rep. Moskowitz, D-Fla., confirmed he is planning to attend Wednesday's breakfast. While Moskowitz admitted he has "vast disagreements" with Mamdani on policy, he said he wants to learn about running a successful digital campaign.Meanwhile, back at the White House, Fox News' Peter Doocy asked President Donald Trump if he was invited to the breakfast."I'd love to be," Trump said. "I'd really love to go. I mean, I look forward to meeting them both."But Trump added, "Look, he's a Communist. I don't think our country is ready for a Communist, but we're going to see. And I don't think that race is over yet either."Trump added that he thinks Cuomo should stay in the race because "he has a shot.""He's running against a Communist. I would think that he would have a good shot of winning," Trump explained. The Mamdani campaign was quick to seize on Trump's comments Tuesday."We would like to congratulate Andrew Cuomo on earning Donald Trumps endorsement. Obviously, this triumph speaks for itself. The question now is whether Cuomo will embrace Trumps support publicly or continue to just accept it in private," Jeffrey Lerner, a Mamdani campaign spokesperson, said in a statement.Republicans have been relentless in trying to anchor Mamdani to Democrats across the country who are running in competitive races in elections this year and in next year's midterms.Asked earlier this week if Mamdani is giving the GOP extra ammunition in their messaging battle, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chair Michael Whatley said, "Absolutely.""I mean, this is the face of the new Democratic Party," Whatley charged in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital."Everybody who wants to lead that party wants to lead it to the left. They're moving away from the American public right now at a pretty rapid clip."The National Republican Congressional Committee, which aims to protect the GOPs razor-thin majority in the House in next years midterms, has repeatedly tied Democrats to Mamdani."Radical socialist Zohran Mamdani isnt just the future of the Democrat Party, he is the Democrat Party. On the campaign trail, well make sure every voter knows House Democrats share his far-left agenda. They may try to run from it, but theyve already bent the knee."Fox News' Kelly Phares, Tyler Olson, Dan Scully, Ryan Schmelz, Sandy Ibrahim and Peter Doocy contributed to this report.

'It's sort of scary': Officials flag surprising revelations from deep State Department cuts
When senior State Department officials set out to trim the agency in the "biggest reorganization since the Cold War," they couldnt get a total headcount on employees for months, they say."It took us three months to get a list of the people that actually work in the building," one senior State Department official told reporters during a briefing at Foggy Bottom on Monday, defending the job cuts that detractors have claimed will damage U.S. diplomacy."They couldn't tell you how many people worked here," the official said."Its sort ofscary as a taxpayer and as a public servant to think that we don't even know how many employees we have. This is a national security agency, you know. Who are these people?"The reorganization will result in a department with about 3,000 fewer employees. Around half of those took a voluntary buyout, and the other half were given reduction in force (RIF) notices.RUBIO SPEARHEADS MASSIVE STATE DEPT REORGANIZATION SET TO ELIMINATE, MERGE MORE THAN 300 OFFICESA handful of Secretary of State Marco Rubios closest advisors evaluated over 700 domestic offices within the State Department, submitting RIF (reduction in force) notices to employees in those they found to be "duplicative" or "inefficient."The idea, officials said, was toput a "maximum of 12 clearances on any piece of paper," meaning documents would go through 12 layers of approval instead "40, 50 clearances."The department had dozens of different offices handling human resources, and when a new employee was hired, they were accepting faxed records on their past work with other agencies."Itscrazy that a department that's tasked with so many critical diplomatic, national security functions, with a $50 billion plus budget is running its affairs that way," an official said. The investigation found three separate offices dealing with sanctions, two handling arms control issues."Some of these regional offices within this sort of functional civil liberties, civil society, bureaus of democracy, human rights and labor, population, refugees and migration each had their own regional offices in addition to the country desk, regional bureau, construct," the official said. "Every independent bureau and office had its own executive director, its own HR department, its own payments. We were making payments out of like 60 plus different offices."Rubios team maintains the reductions focus on nonessential bureaucratic layers while preserving frontline diplomacy. A Supreme Court decision in late June reopened the door for mass federal layoffs after a lower court had blocked the cuts. Legal challenges from unions remain pending, though the reorganization is moving forward. The officials shuttered a "diplomats in residence" program, which they determined to be a "cushy job.""State Department employees are getting paid to go hang out at Georgetown, and sort of recruit for the Foreign Service," one official said, "without any sort of metrics or accountability."They didnt touch the country desks, those specifically focused on nations like Iran or China, and didnt fire anyone from passport services or diplomatic security. They did not make cuts at embassies or foreign posts."We touched the people that are doing these sort of like wasteful, sort of mindboggling functions or places where we found natural efficiencies in combining two offices."WHITE HOUSE PROPOSAL AXES UN, NATO FUNDS AND HALVES STATE DEPARTMENT BUDGETCritics have warned that cuts to the diplomatic corps could damage U.S. presence globally and cede soft power to China."A climate change office is not countering China," an official shot back. The department also shuttered an office that had been tasked with resettling Afghan refugees seeking to flee Talliban rule and culled theBureau of Population, Refugees & Migration."That office was not doing work that was countering China or serving the national interest," the official said. "China has overtaken the United States in a number of those countries. So I would argue growth at the State Department has not coincided with a growth of outcomes for the American taxpayer."In another example, an official told of a Gulf state foreign minister who complained that the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor under the Biden administration kept pushing them to unionize foreign workers."This created huge diplomatic tension with them," the official said. "That foreign minister was delighted and wants to work with us on shared prosperity and trade agreements that aren't trying to to be patronizing to other countries about their domestic affairs."Still, the process has sparked palpable tension within the department. Employees gathered tearfully in the Foggy Bottom lobby to say goodbye, some displaying signs reading, "Diplomacy matters."Signs with messages like "resist fascism" and "you made an impact" were taped up throughout the department.A group of more than 130 former senior officials, including former National Security Advisor Susan Rice, signed an open letter expressing concern that deep staff reductions could endanger U.S. foreign policy effectiveness. Some have seized on the results of a whittled-down State Department and foreign aid apparatus: A report by The Atlantic found the Trump administration had given an order to incinerate 500 tons of emergency food that had been purchased during the Biden administration as aid to be distributed in Afghanistan and Pakistan."Itsa little bit of a shame to see people behaving that way. You sort of wonder whether they had any interest in following the president and sort of, upholding their oath to listen to the commands of the people," one official said.

How Kai Trump's heartfelt RNC speech unexpectedly launched her successful content creator journey
When Kai Trump took the stage at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee last July, she spoke from the heart about her grandfather, then-former President Donald Trump, who survived an assassination attempt earlier that month. What Trump didnt expect was that her social media platforms exploded from her speech, and in turn, her content-creator dream blossomed.Today, Trump sports over 6 million followers across her TikTok, Instagram and YouTube channels. YouTube, specifically, has been a place where she peels back the curtain on her life, from playing rounds of golf with Rory McIlroy and famous YouTube golfers, to walking out to UFC 314 with her grandfather.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMWhile Trump is an avid golfer, who just signed an NIL partnership with Accelerator Active Energy ahead of enrolling at the University of Miami in 2026, she has a deep passion for content creation and has loved watching her platform grow."Its been very fun growing it, especially after the RNC and how everything fell into place and I finally had more time to do content creation," she said. "And I always wanted to do it in my life, so it was really cool to have an opportunity to do it. But its been amazing to build a fan base, be a role model for people to look up to as well younger kids in general. Its been really cool."PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP'S OLDEST GRANDDAUGHTER, KAI TRUMP, TURNS 18: HER LIFE IN PICTURESEvery content creator will say they simply have to take a leap of faith when it comes to posting videos. It requires a certain kind of confidence, which Trump showed on that RNC stage. Some may have been terrified by speaking to thousands while millions at home were also watching, but not Trump, who has taken that confidence into her content-creation journey."The RNC, to be honest with you, I wasnt really nervous," she said. "I dont know why, but speaking from the heart, it was very easy to go up there and talk about the situation that happened and talk about my grandpa. Speaking in public and content creation is very similar."You have to talk in front of a camera, youve got to learn how to engage with the audience and you to do that through your camera or with public speaking."Trump gets millions of views on her videos, whether its short ones for TikToks or long day-in-the-life posts on YouTube. No matter the length, shes received a ton of engagement, and her fans have liked how candid she is about her life."My whole life, Ive just always kind of been around just a lot a lot of things going on and moving [around]," she said. "I love content creation just because I can share the inside of my life, but I can also interact with the base Ive built and my community. I think thats really cool, and obviously Im very, very thankful for my supporters and all those people who watch my videos."Im extremely grateful for everyone supporting me. I fell in love with it just because its really cool to film video and all of a sudden edit it, go through that process, post it and see the end result. Its really cool, especially when you have people interacting with it."Trump will be heading to Miami in 2026, where she said her golf career will be "my first priority." However, as long as she has the time, content creation will always be something she wants to pursue.Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X, and subscribe tothe Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Texas star Arch Manning calls staying with Longhorns 'a no-brainer' despite transfer speculation
Arch Manning was a huge draw at SEC Media Days last season, but now that hes officially the starting quarterback for the Texas Longhorns, the attention was even greater on Tuesday. However, this is what Manning wanted, at least in terms of where hes playing football. The nephew of Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning, as well as the grandson of New Orleans Saints legend Archie Manning, explained how transferring out of the Longhorns program was never a thought process for him."I think the main thing was I wanted to be at the University of Texas," Manning said, via On3 Sports. "Theres nowhere else I wanted to be, whether it was the school itself, Austin, my friends, the football program. So, as long as I was continuing to get better at football and like where I was at, it was a no-brainer for me to stay."CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMWhen Quinn Ewers returned for the 2024 college football season instead of entering the NFL Draft, it was speculated that Manning would head elsewhere so he could start.Instead, he stayed put to back up Ewers once more, and he was needed for 10 games this season due to his teammate getting injured.PEYTON MANNING SAYS NEPHEW ARCH HAS 'SWAGGER' FROM HIS FATHER, ATHLETIC ABILITIES THAT 'SKIPPED A GENERATION'Manning threw for 939 yards with nine passing touchdowns and two interceptions over that span, completing 67.8% of his passes. He also showed off some wheels when he had to tuck and run, rushing for 108 yards on 25 carries with four touchdowns as well. Now, Manning knows he has the keys to head coach Steve Sarkisians offense, and its time to showcase what he can really do when hes starting on a consistent basis. The hype around Manning is nothing new, though. Coming up as a top prospect at Isidore Newman School, the same as his father Cooper and his uncles, Manning has dealt with the national spotlight, and in turn, the comparisons to his family members.Peyton recently spoke on "The Pat McAfee Show" about his nephew, where he said that himself and Eli are surely resources for him. However, he knows Arch wants to make a name for himself, and his father has done a fantastic job helping him get to this point as well."You know Pat, Eli and I are his uncles," Peyton said to McAfee. "We try to be there as a resource for him, but Cooper has done a great job with Arch, and theyve handled all the different things that have kind of come their way in the right way. Im excited to watch Arch play. Hes been very patient. I thought he threw the ball really well at the camp."Peyton also touched on how he liked seeing his nephew stay at Texas and learn over the last two seasons."Hes been patient," Peyton explained. "Its been well-documented, hes been there two years. Im such a believer in mastering the system that youre in. When you have new coordinators every single year in the NFL and college, thats just frustrating to me. I was lucky. The fact that Sarkisian calls the plays and Arch has been there for two years already and is going to know the system, thats going to be a huge advantage for him."Im looking forward to seeing him get out on the field. Hes worked real hard. I love seeing him go to that camp for his teammates. Thats being a good teammate. Thats being a good wingman. Im excited to get down there and watch a few games in Austin."Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X, and subscribe tothe Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Icelandic volcano erupts, forcing tourists to evacuate famous geothermal spa
A volcanic eruption in Iceland forced tourists to evacuate the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa on Wednesday as images captured lava flowing through a fissure in the Earths surface. The eruption began around 4 a.m. following an intense seismic swarm on the Reykjanes Peninsula, southwest of the capital, Reykjavik, Icelands Met Office said."In an abundance of caution, the town of Grindavk and the Blue Lagoon were successfully evacuated," Icelands government said. "Travelers in the area are advised to monitor air quality, as gas pollution from the eruption site may occur."Lava from the eruption is flowing southeast from a fissure in the barren landscape that is 2,296 to 3,280 feet wide, according to the Met Office.SCIENTISTS PREDICT UNDERWATER VOLCANO ERUPTION 300 MILES OFF OREGONGrindavik has been repeatedly affected by volcanic activity since November 2023 when a volcano in the area came to life after lying dormant for some 800 years."Air traffic to and from Iceland is unaffected, and Iceland remains open and safe for tourists. This volcanic activity is highly localized and has no impact on infrastructure or attractions across the rest of Iceland," the countrys government said.It described volcanic activity as a "fact of life in Iceland, and Icelanders have learned to live with its drawbacks and considerable advantages, such as geothermal energy."HAWAIIS KILAUEA VOLCANO ERUPTS WITH 1,000-FOOT LAVA FOUNTAINING"The Icelandic Meteorological Office, The Department of Civil Protection and Emergency Management, and a team of scientists from the University of Iceland closely monitor and analyze developments relating [to] seismic activities," it also said.Officials said there have been a dozen volcanic eruptions on the Reykjanes Peninsula dating back to 2021."There is no way of accurately predicting whether, where, or when seismic activity may result in a volcanic eruption or the possible size of such an eruption, but they are closely monitored and constantly evaluated based on the best scientific data available," Icelands government said."Iceland is situated on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates diverge, making it one of the most active volcanic regions in the world. Regular seismic events are a characteristic feature of Icelandic geology, ranging from minor tremors to significant earthquakes," it added. "Seismic activity in Iceland is often due to magma movement beneath the earth's crust. It may sometimes result in magma seeking the easiest path to the surface and becoming a volcanic eruption."The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Ireland's proposed boycott of Israeli businesses creates dangerous legal trap for American investors
Ireland has announced plans to pass a first-of-its-kind European law banning imports from Israeli businesses operating in Jerusalem and the West Bank.Like most Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) efforts, the bill is unlikely to inflict measurable economic harm on Israel. However, it poses a very real and potentially devastating threat to American businesses and investors.Under U.S. law, it is illegal for American companies to participate in or support foreign-government-backed boycotts of Israel. The Export Administration Regulations (enforced by the Department of Commerces Office of Antiboycott Compliance) and Internal Revenue Code 999 (administered by the IRS) prohibit exactly the kind of conduct Irelands legislation seeks to compel. These statutes were enacted in response to the Arab League boycott and are grounded not only in economic self-interest but also in civil rights law: The boycotts of the Jewish State have always been about who Jews arenot what Israel does. More recent legislation, like the 2016 Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act, reaffirmed Americas bipartisan commitment to combating BDS.TRUMP ADMIN SLAMS UK, CANADA, AUSTRALIA AND OTHERS WHO SANCTIONED ISRAELI OFFICIALSThe penalties for violating U.S. anti-boycott laws can be steep, including civil fines, criminal prosecution, possible imprisonment, and the loss of export privileges.Any decision to alter operations in response to Irelands law particularly if it involves termination of Israeli partnerships or divestment may constitute a material event triggering these laws and requiring disclosure to both shareholders and the SEC under existing risk factor or geopolitical reporting guidelines. Public companies should be especially mindful of how such changes are characterized in their filings to avoid accusations of misrepresentation or politically motivated discrimination.Aside from federal restrictions, the majority of U.S. stateshave adoptedanti-BDS lawsthat bar companies from receiving state contracts if they boycott Israel. That means firms that comply with Irelands law also risk contract termination, state debarment and possible enforcement actions from these states attorneys general. The backlash faced by Unilever in 2021, after its subsidiary Ben & Jerrys sought to boycott parts of Israel, provides a concrete warning: multiple states divested pension funds, the company suffered reputational harm, and they ultimately had to walk back the decision under immense pressure from shareholders and lawsuits. If Ireland were seeking to chase American capital out of the country, it could not have devised a better way to do so.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONAmerican businesses with operations in Ireland or even transactions that touch Irish jurisdiction must now take proactive steps to protect themselves.First, as a threshold matter, any American company operating in Ireland should conduct a foreign law compliance audit to identify any decisions or actions that might be tied explicitly or implicitly to foreign legal pressure.Second, companies should educate stakeholders that anti-Israel divestment generates unwanted legal exposure, not safety, and ensure that internal directives do not imply or implement foreign boycott goals.SIGN UP FOR ANTISEMITISM EXPOSED NEWSLETTERThird, companies should implement a boycott response policy that would require all foreign law compliance actions to be reviewed by legal counsel. General counsel offices should track and report any foreign government requests to the Department of Commerce, as required.Fourth, American companies operating in Ireland ought to review their state contract exposure. If a company does business with certain states, particularly those with anti-BDS laws on the books, the company ought to ensure its compliance with anti-BDS contract clauses. Finally,if legal exposure cannot be mitigated, businesses may have to consider corporate restructuring, including reducing or ending operations in Ireland altogether; if the cost of doing business in Ireland now includes federal investigations, SEC scrutiny, and shareholder lawsuits, among other risks, companies may need to rethink their presence in the country. The bottom line is that American companies are not at risk because they do business with Israel. Theyre at risk if they stop doing business because a foreign government pressured them to do so. Anti-boycott law is not just about tradeits about protecting American sovereignty, American investors, and American civil rights. And when it comes to obeying the law American companies must remember: America first.

Chuck Todd rips Democrats for struggling with men, suggests male success often seen as Gender advantage
Former "Meet the Press" anchor Chuck Todd says Democrats have a problem with attracting men to their party, and that their gender is at times seen as the only reason for their success."Look, what Democrats have gotten into is they are coming across as a party who essentially said any success by a man was because they had a gender advantage," Todd said in an episode of his podcast posted Tuesday."At least that's what men heard," Todd added. "I knowthat's not what many womenwere saying and what many Democrats were saying, but that is what's come across. And so, whatever it is, it came across."CARVILLE PANS DEMOCRATS FOR CONTINUING TO ALIENATE MEN WITH 'FUTURE IS FEMALE' TALKTodd recalled a conversation he had with a producer that illustrated this problem."I'll never forget, I had a producer point this out to me back in 2016," Todd said."Hillary Clinton was doing a rally, and she was namechecking every single demographic group that she wanted their support from, except one," he added. "She never asked for the vote of men. And it was one of these weird things where my producer, who said, You know, I don't really want to vote for Donald Trump, but I wish you would ask me for my vote.' And that's how a lot of men have felt."DEMOCRATS' 'MASSIVE BLIND SPOT' ON MALE VOTERS EXPOSED BY NEW YORK TIMES COLUMNISTTodd called out President Donald Trump and his "toxic masculinity," but said that Democrats need to do better to reach men."Democrats don't seem to want to communicate with men, that instead, there's more of a desire not to almost run against men," Todd said."And I get it, toxic masculinity as espoused byDonald Trump is just that toxic and not exactly the way any of us would want to see our sons behave or be raised," he added."Everything's been about the extremes and there's not been enough nuance and that lack of nuance may be why men feel as if they are feeling pushed away by the Democratic Party, particularly non-college-educated men," Todd continued.Instead, Todd said, Democrats should be more inclusive towards men with their messaging and say, "We hear you. Your struggles matter, too. You aren't the enemy."

Marla Maples wants cleaner skies in America as EPA investigates weather altering
With the recent catastrophic flooding in Texas, concerns have been raised by many about the potential use of weather modification methods, prompting the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and members of Congress to investigate and promise transparency on the controversial issue.Marla Maples, co-founder of Global Wellness Forum (GWF) and a MAHA backer based in Palm Beach, told Fox News Digital she's been a longtime advocate of raising awareness about and putting a stop to weather modification. (See the video at the top of this article.)"Weather modification is the human attempt to control the skies to alter natural weather patterns through aerosol sprays of various particulate matter such as aluminum, strontium, barium and other particulate matters," said Maples. "Cloud seeding uses silver iodide to enhance precipitation and theres also frequency-based technologies used."RAINMAKER CEO ADDRESSES CONCERNS ABOUT CLOUD SEEDING AFTER TEXAS FLOODSMaples was among those who helped get FloridaSenate Bill 56 passed. It prohibits the release of chemical compounds that affect the temperature, weather, climate or intensity of sunlight. At least 24 states have introduced similar legislation. On July 1, 2025, Florida became the first state to criminalize geoengineering and weather modification when Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the bill into law."Just think, when such practices are done without public knowledge or consent, we must ask: Who decides what happens in our shared atmosphere?" said Maples."While these technologies exist, many are deployed without strict regulations, public oversight or informed consent."Maples believes there should be transparency, safety and public participation in decisions that affect the environment and public health.Heeding Gov. DeSantis' call after he signed SB 56, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier wrote to public-use airports on Monday informing operators of the new law."Injecting our atmosphere with novel chemical compounds to block the sun is a dangerous path, especially in Florida, where sunshine is our most valuable resource," wrote Uthmeier."Furthermore, as our hearts break for the victims of the flash floods in Texas, I cant help but notice the possibility that weather modification could have played a role in this tragedy."WHITE HOUSE TO STUDY RELEASING AEROSOLS INTO THE ATMOSPHERE TO COUNTER CLIMATE CHANGEHe said the law now "requires all public-use airports to report on geoengineering and weather modification activities."Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, recently told reporters in relation to the Texas flooding tragedy that "to the best of my knowledge, there is zero evidence of anything related to anything like weather modification."EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin recently announced two new online resources designed to address public questions and concerns about contrails and geoengineering."I tasked my team to compile everything we know about contrails and geoengineering to release to you now publicly," wrote Zeldin in an X post. "I want you to know EVERYTHING I know about these topics, and without ANY exception."Contrails are condensation trails formed from planes, while geoengineering is an effort to deliberately alter the Earth's climate, such as through cloud seeding. Many believe some contrails have chemicals and/or other substances that alter the environment for weather modification purposes which the EPA hopes to investigate in the push for transparency.THE GROSS REASON AIRPLANE PASSENGERS MIGHT WANT TO AVOID USING THE WATER ON FLIGHTSRep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., recently shared her proposal for a bill to prohibit "the injection, release or dispersion of chemicals or substances into the atmosphere for the express purpose of altering weather, temperature, climate or sunlight intensity."Rainmaker Tech Corporation CEO Augustus Doricko, in a recent appearance on "The Will Cain Show," shared how his company adds 50 grams of silver iodide per operation, touching on public concerns."I have yet to see any sufficient evidence of a malevolent conspiracy of someone releasing toxins into the atmosphere in those long streaky tracks in the upper atmosphere," said Doricko."A lot of what I've seen seems to suggest those are condensation trails formed by airplanes," he said.SOME STATES IN THE US PRACTICE SOME FORM OF WEATHER MODIFICATION: DR. MICHIO KAKU"Now, regardless of whether those are condensation trails or chemtrails and I am entirely open to people presenting evidence of them being chemtrails of some kind, despite not believing them to be that now if you see a long streak in the sky that has nothing to do with cloud, which relies on existing big puffy natural clouds raining a little bit more," he added.Said Maples, "These aren't the skies that I grew up with in my small hometown in Georgia, when the clouds were big and puffy and the skies were bright blue. For years, I've been observing high-altitude airplanes creating streaks of white across the sky that linger all day, spread out like fine feathers and white out the beautiful sun."The former wife of President Donald Trumpand mother of Tiffany Trump said she believes side effects such as chronic diseases, threats to agriculture and lack of exposure to Vitamin D are all linked to geoengineering."When I see a lot of spraying in the sky, my mind is a little more foggy. My energy field is much lower. It's harder for me to focus," Maples told Fox News Digital.Maples asked Americans to "observe how they feel after being outside seeking fresh air, and yet see a sky filled with these lingering streams."For more Lifestyle articles, visit foxnews.com/lifestyle"Do you notice a dizzy feeling? Is your mind not as clear? Are you observing a lack of energy or unusual headaches, a sore throat, allergy symptoms?"She suggested these are all questions people should be asking. In a post on X, HHS Sec. Robert F. Israel strikes Syria's military headquarters as the regime clashes with Druze civilians
Israel announced on Wednesday that its forces struck near the entrance of the Syrian Defense Ministrys headquarters in Damascus."The IDF continues to monitor developments and the regime's actions against Druze civilians in southern Syria. In accordance with directives from the political echelon, the IDF is striking in the area and remains prepared for various scenarios," the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) wrote on X.Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also put out a statement saying that his country's forces were "acting to save our Druze brothers and eliminate the regime's gangs" and warning Druze in Israel not to go into Syria."I have one request of you: You are citizens of Israel. Do not cross the border," Netanyahu said on Wednesday. "You are endangering your lives; you could be killed, you could be kidnapped, and you are harming the IDFs efforts. Therefore, I ask you, return to your homes, let the IDF do its work."WHY SYRIA PLAYS A KEY ROLE IN TRUMPS PLANS FOR MIDDLE EAST PEACEThe southern Syrian city of Sweida has become a flashpoint in recent days as the countrys leaders clash with armed Druze groups. Syrias Defense Ministry claimed its forces acted after militias in Sweida violated a ceasefire agreement reached on Tuesday.Syrias Defense Ministry reportedly said in a statement that its forces were continuing to fire in Sweida "while adhering to rules of engagement," including preventing harm, according to the Associated Press.Israel has threatened to increase its involvement in Syria and vowed to protect the Druze religious minority, which began as a 10th-century offshoot of Ismailism, a branch of Shiite Islam, the Associated Press reported. Most of the worlds Druze population lives in Syria, with the rest predominantly in Israel and Lebanon."And I raise the question: What else needs to happen for the international community to make its voice heard? What else needs to happen? What are we still waiting for?," Israel's Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa'ar said on Wednesday. "Our interests in Syria are known, limited and clear. First of all, to maintain the status quo in the southern Syrian region, which is also close to our border. And to prevent the development of threats against Israel in this area. The second thing - to prevent harm to the Druze community, with which we have a bold and strong relationship - with the Druze citizens here in Israel."TRUMPS PUSH FOR ISRAEL-SYRIA PEACE GETS MAJOR BACKING AS ACTIVIST BRINGS MESSAGE TO JERUSALEMThe Druze are a prominent minority in Israel, where members of the community hold key military positions. In 2015, Col. Ghassan Alian, who is Druze, became the first non-Jewish commander of the Golani Brigade. Additionally, unlike other minorities in Israel, Druze males are not exempt from conscripted military service."Israel is committed to preventing harm to the Druze in Syria due to the deep brotherhood alliance with our Druze citizens in Israel, and their familial and historical connection to the Druze in Syria and we are acting to prevent the Syrian regime from harming them, and to ensure the demilitarization of the area adjacent to our border with Syria," a joint statement by Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz read. The latest unrest in Syria began with kidnappings and attacks between the Sunni Bedouin tribes and Druze armed factions in the southern part of the country, according to the Associated Press. Syrian regime forces operating to restore order have also clashed with the Druze and have reportedly been carrying out extrajudicial killings and looting and burning civilian homes. In March, Syrias al Qaeda-linked regime killed members of the Alawite and Christian communities. Former Syrian President Bashar Assad, whose regime was toppled in December by Ahmed al-Sharaa and his group, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham a U.S.-designated terror organization, is a member of the Alawite community.
