WWW.FOXNEWS.COMMORNING GLORY: A week that changed the world"If, when the chips are down, the worlds most powerful nation, the United States of America, acts like a pitiful, helpless giant, the forces of totalitarianism and anarchy will threaten free nations and free institutions throughout the world."That is an excerpt from President Richard Nixons speech on April 30, 1970, when he announced the U.S. attacks on North Vietnamese-controlled areas inside Cambodia along the border with South Vietnam. This speech and the decision to strike across the South Vietnam-Cambodian border into the North Vietnamese sanctuaries in "neutral" Cambodia came six months after Nixons November 3, 1969, speech appealing to the countrys "great silent majority of my fellow Americans," and asking for their support as he began the "Vietnamization" of the long-running war he inherited when he took office in January 1969.MORNING GLORY: TRUMP'S SIGNATURE QUOTE ON IRAN CEMENTS A DECISIVE SUCCESSMore than a half million American troops were in Vietnam then, the result of eight consecutive years of escalation of the war and the commitment of combat troops under Presidents Kennedy and Johnson.Nixon knew that he could not simply pull out and allow South Vietnam to collapse, as President Biden did in Afghanistan in August of 2021. Fleeing any conflict and leaving allies in chaos and confusion meant not only defeat, but a crushing blow to Americas standing in the world. Russian dictator Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine the second time, six months after the debacle in Kabul.Weakness and retreat by America emboldened our enemies to attack our allies. 10/7/24 was waiting for Israel down the road. An impotent America led inexorably to the massacre in Israel that day and to the Houthis terrorizing the global economy.Nixon also knew so long ago he could not achieve peace in Vietnam while allowing the Soviet and Chinese proxy of North Vietnam to operate out of Cambodia unmolested. Nixon asked for and got the support he needed from the majority of Americans, and it held steady even after the campus upheavals following the attacks in Cambodia. The shootings at Kent State University happened on May 4 following the April 30 address was just one of the many tragic demonstrations, riots and shootings that wracked the country in the years 1967-1972, awful outbursts of violence which included the assassinations of Dr. Martin Luther King and Senator Bobby Kennedy, Jr.Nixon held firm on all fronts in the face of withering criticism from Democrats who had long supported the war in Asia.Despite the violence and the collapse of legacy media objectivity, Nixon maintained his course and even escalated the bombing of North Vietnam when he needed to in order to obtain a peace agreement with North Vietnam, which was signed in January, 1973 after Nixons landslide re-election in November of 1972. The middle of the countrys political spectrum surged to support Nixon in 1972 even as the Democrats lurched left and nominated Senator George McGovern. Now President Trump has "escalated to de-escalate" by ordering the B-2s to fly from Missouri, take out hardened sites in Irans nuclear weapons assembly line, and fly home. Trumps display of American reach and military power was followed quickly by a Trump-orchestrated cease-fire between Israel and Iran. Rumors of ongoing talks about expansion of the Abraham Accords from Trumps first term continue to multiply, and if they come to pass, "peace through strength" will be demonstrated, again, and a future Trump Presidential Library and Museum has another room to fill out."Trump derangement syndrome" has taken such a toll on so many in the Beltway that they are unable to applaud this massive win for the United States, or any of the others that the past five months have revealed, but most especially the strikes on Irans nuclear ambitions. Trump re-established the credibility of the threat of American military power and stood alongside the equal of any of our allies. Trump then rallied NATO to collectively increase their commitments to defense spending. Markets surged and trading partners like Canada retreated from extortionate trade barriers aimed at U.S. companies. At the same time that the president was confirming American power as a genuine and powerful force to be reckoned with abroad, his "One, Big Beautiful Bill" was moving forward with most of his domestic legislative agenda wrapped up within it. A nearly unbroken series of victories at the Supreme Court has also checked the most absurd of the unconstitutional overreaches of federal district court judges.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONAt the same time, Democrats have nominated the most radical major party candidate for a major office Zohran Mamdani to be mayor of New York City while their aging hippies-wing held rallies around the country organized around the absurdist slogan "No Kings."June 2025 thus marks a turnaround for America and an energizing series of achievements for the country as we round into our 249th birthday. This month also marks a bottom for the Democrats, though its a party perfectly capable of falling off a floor.Donald Trump, by contrast, is at the peak of his authority and gaining momentum, having closed the border and followed through on his major campaign promises.June 2025 marked neither a collapse of democracy nor a slide into autocracy for the U.S. Its a return to an America confident of its future, secure in its liberties, and enthusiastic about its future.Hugh Hewitt is a Fox News contributor, and host of "The Hugh Hewitt Show," heard weekdays from 3 pm to 6 pm ET on the Salem Radio Network, and simulcast on Salem News Channel. WWW.FOXNEWS.COMBest and worst breads for your health, according to nutrition expertsAfter Joe Rogan voiced his concerns about the bread offerings in America, experts are sharing their tips on choosing the healthiest varieties. On a recent episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," the famed podcaster claimed that most of the breads in the U.S. are unhealthy and contribute to inflammation."A lot of inflammation comes from diet," Rogan said. "Our bread is f***d if you go overseas, and go eat bread in Italy, you wont feel bad at all."BREAD WITH SPROUTED GRAINS OFFERS 'ENHANCED NUTRITIONAL PROFILE,' MAY BE HEALTHIER WAY TO ENJOY CARBSThe podcaster then shared an Instagram reel from holistic health influencer Dennis Echelbarger (Denny_Dure) claiming that bread can leave people feeling "bloated, brain-fogged and tired."Many point to gluten as the culprit, Echelbarger said in the video, but he claims its "just the scapegoat.""The real issue is ultraprocessed, chemically altered, bleached, bromated, fake vitamin-filled wheat soaked in glyphosate," he concluded.Rogan added, "I know when I cut that stuff out of my diet, it made a giant difference."He noted that one exception is sourdough bread, which he said is "great for you."WHITE BREAD VS. WHOLE WHEAT BREAD: IS ONE 'BETTER' FOR YOU?For those who do eat bread, Rogan said, "You have to get it from a place that has heirloom wheat."(Heirloom wheat, also known as heritage wheat, refers to older varieties that have not been genetically modified and may have higher nutritional value.)New Jersey-based dietitian Erin Palinski-Wade, author of "2-Day Diabetes Diet," says its not necessary to completely avoid bread to improve your health, but pointed out that not all varieties are created equal."Theres a wide range of breads from those that can negatively impact your health to options that offer potential health benefits," she said in an interview with Fox News Digital.Breads made from refined flours, such as white bread, can cause rapid spikes and crashes in blood sugar, increasing the risk of weight gain and type 2 diabetes over time, the dietitian warned.Instead, she recommends opting for whole-grain and high-fiber breads that break down more slowly, helping to stabilize blood sugar and improve long-term glycemic control. When choosing a bread, its important to read labels carefully and assess the ingredient list, Palinski-Wade advised."The first ingredient is what makes up the majority of the bread, so this should be a whole grain," she said. "From there, the shorter the ingredient list, the better."An ingredient list made up of whole grains, yeast and a bit of salt as well as limited added sugars and preservatives is ideal, according to the dietitian. "Some brands add seeds or legumes as well," she added.CONTROVERSIAL SEED OILS MAY OFFER UNEXPECTED HEALTH BENEFITS, NEW RESEARCH SHOWSAmong store-bought breads, one of Palinski-Wades top recommendations is Ezekiel bread, which includes sprouted whole grains and legumes, uses minimal processing and has limited added sugars and preservatives."Another easy-to-find option is the line of breads from Daves Killer Bread," she shared. "Made with organic whole grains, this line of bread contains minimal preservatives, added sugars or refined grains."Overall, the dietitian said, its best to choose bread that contains mostly whole grains with little added sugars and preservatives, has a taste you enjoy, and works for your lifestyle.Julie Stefanski, RDN, a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics in Chicago, said that lumping all bread together as potentially harmful is a "big oversimplification.""As Americans, we have access to an enormous number of food choices," she told Fox News Digital. "When deciding what type of bread to purchase, a person should consider how often they choose it, how large a portion they consume and their own medical issues."Those who eat bread frequently or in multiple servings may want to prioritize choosing a healthier, whole-grain option, she advised."When choosing bread with fewer preservatives and simpler ingredients, consumers need to be aware that the bread will not last as long, and may need to be frozen and toasted to eventually make use of an entire loaf," Stefanski pointed out.Sourdough bread has been shown to have a lower glycemic index (GI) than white bread, Stefanski noted, and thus can be easier to digest than other wheat breads."A lower glycemic index (which measures how quickly any given food spikes a persons glucose levels) means the bread digests and turns into blood sugar slightly slower than typical white bread," she said."In the process of making sourdough bread, the bacteria and yeast in the starter for the bread partially breaks down the carbohydrates that are in the wheat."People who are typically sensitive to digesting the sugars in wheat may notice less bloating, gas and digestive issues when eating sourdough bread compared to other varieties, according to Stefanski.Palinski-Wade agrees thatsourdough bread is a good choice, but "not superior.""Whole-grain sourdough would be better than white sourdough, but sprouted grain breads would most likely be superior in antioxidants, fiber and nutrient composition," she told Fox News Digital.Making your own sourdough bread at home can be a healthy choice, Palinski-Wade added but that isnt always a feasible option for people who are short on time or traveling.Dr. Jason Fung, a Toronto-based physician who is also an expert in intermittent fasting, agreed that breads effect on health hinges not only on its carbohydrate content, but also on how quickly the starches are absorbed into the bloodstream."If you eat commercial white bread, the glucose in that starch is very, very quickly turned into glucose in the blood," he reiterated to Fox News Digital."This is because the flour is very refined removing fiber, fats, proteins and bran, which all slow absorption and is also very finely machine ground. This fine grind creates white flour, which is a dust that is quickly absorbed by intestinal cells."The texturizers and emulsifiers in commercial white breads which are added to make them softer and easier to eat also cause them to be more quickly digested and absorbed, Fung noted.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR HEALTH NEWSLETTER"You can see the effect of this on the glycemic index, which measures how quickly bread spikes your glucose," he said. The GI is a scale of 0 to 100, with 100 being the highest glucose spikes. White bread has a very high GI of 73, Fung said, while machine-ground whole wheat is not much better, at 70.To counteract this effect, Fung recommends choosing any of the following healthier options."You can also slow down the absorption of glucose by eating bread with olive oil and also vinegar," Fung advised. For more Health articles, visitwww.foxnews.com/healthPalinski-Wade agreed that its important to carefully choose what bread is paired with."Choosing breads with a low glycemic index and pairing them with foods rich in fat, protein or fiber can help minimize blood sugar spikes and support better glucose management," she said.0 Comments 0 Shares 2 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMTrump shifts battleground in fight against 'brazen election interference' by Iowa pollsterPresident Donald Trump dropped his federal case against Iowa pollster J. Ann Selzer and the Des Moines Register on Monday and re-filed in state court after accusing them of "brazen election interference" with their final 2024 Iowa presidential poll.Trump, along with Iowa Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks and former Iowa State Senator Bradley Zaun gave their notice of dismissal "without prejudice" for the case at the Southern District of Iowa federal court, then refiled the case to the Polk County District Court.Trump's legal team originally requested the case be moved to state court in May after the defendants "removed" the case to federal court. A federal judge denied this request at the time.An attorney for the president confirmed to Fox News Digital that this lawsuit has only been dismissed in federal court, adding that the case is "very much alive."FORMER POLLSTER ANN SELZER HITS BACK AT CRITICISMS OVER IOWA POLL: 'THEY ARE ACCUSING ME OF A CRIME'The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) chief counsel Bob Corn-Revere, who represents Selzer, also told Fox News Digital that no settlement has been reached regarding the lawsuit."President Trump and his two co-plaintiffs filed a notice of dismissal of their claims against Iowa pollster J. Ann Selzer and the Des Moines Register after losing a bid to remand the case to state court. This maneuver was not in response to any settlement and is a transparent attempt to avoid federal court review of the president's transparently frivolous claims. The case was refiled in state court today, one day before an Iowa law intended to provide strong protections against baseless claims like these an anti-SLAPP statute goes into effect. The procedural gamesmanship is obvious and improper. Whatever court ultimately reviews this matter, FIRE will defend J. Ann Selzer's First Amendment rights, and we remain confident the courts will see through this sham lawsuit," he added.Lark-Marie Anton, a spokesperson for the Des Moines Register, was critical of Trumps legal team, claiming he is only attempting to "avoid the inevitable outcome" of his complaint being dismissed in court."After losing his first attempt to send his case back to Iowa state court, and apparently recognizing that his appeal will be unsuccessful, President Trump is attempting to unilaterally dismiss his lawsuit from federal court and re-file it in Iowa state court," Anton said. "Although such a procedural maneuver is improper, and may not be permitted by the Court, it is clearly intended to avoid the inevitable outcome of the Des Moines Register's motion to dismiss President Trumps amended complaint currently pending in federal court."She added, "The Des Moines Register will continue to resist President Trumps litigation gamesmanship and believes that regardless of the forum it will be successful in defending its rights under the First Amendment."The lawsuit was originally filed in December in Polk County, Iowa and sought "accountability for brazen election interference committed by" the Des Moines Register (DMR) and Selzer "in favor of now-defeated former Democrat candidate Kamala Harris through use of a leaked and manipulated Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll conducted by Selzer and S&C and published by DMR and Gannett in the Des Moines Register on Nov. 2, 2024.""The Harris Poll was no miss but rather an attempt to influence the outcome of the 2024 Presidential Election," the lawsuit stated at the time, adding that "defendants and their cohorts in the Democrat Party hoped that the Harris Poll would create a false narrative of inevitability for Harris in the final week of the 2024 Presidential Election."IOWA POLLSTER ANN SELZER SUGGESTS HER DATA COULD HAVE GALVANIZED REPUBLICAN VOTERS INTO PROVING IT WRONGSelzer released her final Des Moines Register-sponsored poll showing then-Vice President Kamala Harris leading Trump by three points in Iowa just three days before the election. That shock poll showed a seven-point shift from Trump to Harris from September, when he had a four-point lead over the vice president in the same poll.Selzers poll was hyped up by the media in the days leading up to the election as her polling predictions had been historically accurate. Many suggested it implied a monumental shift in Midwest support for the then-Vice President in a largely red state.Trump ultimately beat Harris in Iowa by more than 13 percentage points.Shortly after the election, Selzer announced in an op-ed for the Des Moines Register that she was done with election polling and was moving on to "other ventures."CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP0 Comments 0 Shares 3 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMDiddy trial jurors face unrealistic expectations, failure to sequester was a mistake: expertJury deliberations stalled early Monday in Sean "Diddy" Combs' federal trial for sex crimes when a juror had a difficult time following instructions given by Judge Arun Subramanian.Multiple notes were sent back from the jury only hours after Judge Subramanian provided detailed instructions for the 12 jurors deciding Diddy's fate. The "Last Night" rapper's trial previously faced issues within the jury pool when the judge dismissed one juror in early June, while another juror was under scrutiny, but remained on the case.Problems within the jury could have been avoided, according to attorney David S. Seltzer, who told Fox News Digital that simply sequestering the jurors throughout the duration of the seven-week trial could have prevented additional issues reaching a verdict.DIDDY JURY SETBACK COULD INDICATE A STEALTH JUROR, MIGHT SIGNAL MAJOR ADVANTAGE FOR DEFENSE: EXPERT"I dont see how people are not influenced by outside factors,"Seltzer said. "We live in a technology world where everyone wants their information now.I know the jury was instructed not to read anything, but I dont think that was realistic given the length of the trial."DIDDY DEFENSE CLAIMS HE WAS UNFAIRLY TARGETED, WHILE PROSECUTION SAYS RAPPER THOUGHT HE WAS UNTOUCHABLESeltzer noted that not sequestering the jury was a mistake. "I have been saying from day one that it is impossible to tell people to stay off media and/or computers for six weeks-plus, when people are addicted to their devices.I think the court is relying on the admonishment, but respectfully turning a blind eye."WATCH: HARVEY WEINSTEIN'S FORMER LAWYER REVEALS QUESTIONS SHE'D WANT ANSWERS TO IN DIDDY TRIAL DELIBERATIONSThe jury sent two notes to the court throughout the five and a half hours of deliberations. The first note from the jury claimed one juror could not follow Judge Arun Subramanian's instructions. After a lengthy discussion on what to send back to the jury, Judge Subramanian adopted the language for the note proposed by the prosecution. The note sent read, "I received your note. I remind every juror of their duty to deliberate and their obligation to follow my instruction on the law. With that instruction in mind, please continue deliberating." The note also explained not to include specific details about deliberations in any future notes."Courts will always push a jury to get to a unanimous verdict, but at the end of the day, it is up to the jury if they think they can get there,"Seltzer noted. "Often times when there are issues within the jury, they cannot get there, and it ends up in a hung jury."Right before the end of the court day, the jury asked for clarification regarding the alleged distribution of drugs. "If a recipient asks for a controlled substance, and another person hands it over to them, are they distributing?" The judge told the court that the jury would be given an answer on Tuesday. While sequestering a jury essentially isolating the 12 jurors and six alternates assigned to the case from the outside world can be challenging, the process may prove to be essential in eliminating external influences.Albany-based criminal defense attorney Paul DerOhannesian explained to Fox News Digital that jurors may have been swayed by the Internet and access to social media.LIKE WHAT YOURE READING? CLICK HERE FOR MORE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS"Unfortunately, courts are reluctant to utilize one of the few tools historically used to inoculate jurors against external sources of information during a trial or deliberations sequestration," DerOhannesian said. "We did see sequestration of the jury in the Casey Anthony and OJ Simpson trials.Sequestration in a federal trial is virtually non-existent in recent history."WATCH: THE DIDDY CASE CAN ABSOLUTELY BE RETRIED IF THERE IS A HUNG JURY, SAYS CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEYJohn J. Perlstein, a Los Angeles litigator, admitted it would be "nave to believe that jurors universally adhere to these instructions and not read up on the situation they find themselves in.""I dont believe that any jury needs to be sequestered unless it is a safety concern," Perlstein added. "The instructions are what they are. The jurors are admonished daily, and all one can hope is that they abide."Diddy remained in the courtroom for about 20 minutes after the judge decided to provide the jury with the governments proposed response to their first letter. He was sitting at the defense table with his attorneys. On his way out of the courtroom, he held up the two books he had with him. One is, "The Power of Positive Thinking." The other is "The Happiness Advantage."CLICK HERE TO GET THE ENTERTAINMENT NEWSLETTERThe jury was sent to deliberate around 11:30 a.m. ET by the federal judge after lengthy instructions. Authorities charged Diddy with racketeering, two counts of sex trafficking and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. If convicted, he could face life in prison.A 12-person jury comprised of eight men and four women will make the decision on whether to convict Diddy of federal crimes or let the fallen music mogul walk free following a seven-week trial.Prosecutors began closing arguments Thursday with a focus on Diddy's alleged stance as the leader of a criminal enterprise, a point they've attempted to drive home to the jurors with more than 30 witness testimonies. The rapper's defense team, headed by Marc Agnifilo, argued Friday that the prosecution's evidence proved that the government was unfairly targeting Diddy and insisted he was innocent of the charges.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPIf found guilty, the rapper faces a minimum of 15 years behind bars and a maximum sentence of life in prison. WWW.FOXNEWS.COMMarijuana is not harmless. The opposite is true and the evidence keeps growingPROGRAMMING ALERT: Watch author Alex Berenson discuss this topic and more on Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends" on July 1 at 7: 30 am.The news about marijuana keeps getting worse. As drug advocates pushed marijuana legalization over the last 15 years, they portrayed the drug as harmless, a mild intoxicant with few side effects. Cannabis the term scientists prefer for marijuana might even have medicinal value, advocates said. The truth is the opposite.CANNABIS USE RAISES RISK OF HEART ATTACK AND STROKE MORE THAN COCAINE, OTHER DRUGS, MAJOR REVIEW SUGGESTSEven in states, from Maine to California, that have legalized cannabis, researchers have published paper after paper showing its risks, particularly to heavy or daily users. I do not mean the munchies or falling asleep on the couch. Powerful evidence links the drug to heart attacks, strokes, severe mental illness, and even suicides.Cannabis and its active ingredient, the chemical called THC, are toxic to the heart and brain. They are also much more addictive than many users realize. Though cannabis does not cause the physical dependence of alcohol, it can make users psychologically dependent, leading to irritability, depression, and mood swings if they cut back. And a huge new study shows that legalization is linked to a sharp increase in diagnoses of cannabis addiction. As more Americans see the problems firsthand, their views of cannabis are slowly turning negative, a recent Gallup poll found. Even in deep-blue New York, almost twice as many residents say cannabis legalization has hurt their quality of life as helped it.MORE SENIORS ARE USING CANNABIS THAN EVER BEFORE DESPITE HEALTH RISKS, RESEARCH SHOWSBut just as it took decades for the public to realize the cancer risks of cigarettes, the health harms of cannabis are not completely understood. A majority of Americans still favor legalization a fact that makes the emerging science even more alarming. In March, scientists in Boston reported cannabis users under 50 had a sixfold higher risk of heart attacks compared to people who didnt. In February, Canadian researchers found people hospitalized with a diagnosis of cannabis abuse were six times as likely to die as the average person over the next five years. Suicides and trauma-related deaths made up much of the increase. The research on the psychiatric harms of cannabis is also piling up.The connection between cannabis and severe mental illness, including the psychotic disorder schizophrenia, comes as no surprise to me. In 2019, I wrote the book "Tell Your Children: The Truth About Marijuana, Mental Illness, and Violence." At the time, drug legalizers and their media handmaidens sharply criticized the book. The Guardian, a leftist British newspaper, called it "pure alarmism."Six years later, "Tell Your Children" has been vindicated. In April, researchers in Quebec found a crucial mechanism in the brain by which cannabis can cause hallucinations and delusions.. And just weeks ago, physicians in Colorado the first state to legalize cannabis reported that diagnoses of psychosis in young people have soared in the last 15 years, with diagnoses in heavy cannabis users driving the increase. The science is clear.Even for adults, cannabis isnt safe, especially for daily use. For teens, whose brains are still developing, it is highly risky and at worst can lead to lifelong psychiatric problems. It is addictive.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONIt is far more potent than a generation ago, and THC, its active ingredient, is now available in brightly colored gummies and other "edibles" that are the leading cause of poisonings in young children. As The New York Times itself admitted last year:As marijuana legalization spreads across the country, people are consuming more of the drug, more often and at ever-higher potencies a growing number, mainly heavy users, have experienced addiction, psychosis and other harmful effectsMeanwhile, the promises of cannabis legalization have not come true. Tax revenue from legal cannabis is a rounding error in state budgets, and legalization has not ended the illegal market in cannabis, which remains large and violent. If anything, legal stores are actually losing ground to illegal dealers at this point. The core reason is that legal sellers face regulations, taxes, and insurance costs that illegal sellers do not. Illegal sellers can undercut the legal price. And the heavy users who buy most cannabis want the lowest price, legal or not.Thirteen years after Colorado became the first state to legalize recreational cannabis, the experiment has failed. But powerful economic forces and the medias refusal to admit whats really going on mean that most Americans dont know the truth yet.Eventually, they will.In the meantime, Tell Your Children cannabis is far from benign.CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM ALEX BERENSON0 Comments 0 Shares 3 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMEven before Glastonbury Festival hate chants, UK Jews warned of alarming rise in antisemitismJewish leaders in the United Kingdom expressed outrage this weekend over antisemitic chants led by artists at a flagship music festival that was broadcast live on British public television, but the community has long been warning of an alarming rise in hate crimessince Hamas Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel.Even before Saturdays performance by British rap-pop duo Bob Vylan -- in which the singer chanted "Death, death to the IDF [Israel Defense Forces]" -- Jews in Britain have said they no longer feel welcome, citing government inaction in addressing antisemitism."Bob Vylans chant didnt come from an empty space," David Collier, an independent investigative journalist, told Fox News Digital.UK PUNK-RAP DUO SPARKS OUTRAGE WITH ANTI-ISRAEL CHANTS AT MAJOR MUSIC FESTIVALCollier, who monitors "antisemitism inside anti-Zionist activity," said that "Vylan is so lost that he truly believed he was speaking up for humanity when he called for the death of 100,000s of young Israelis the crowd who chanted along with him saw nothing wrong in echoing his call for genocide. No witnessing crew member backstage saw fit to pull the plug on the lights or sound, and the BBC never stopped its live coverage.""The end product was a team effort that shows just how blind mainstream U.K. has become to a genocidal antisemitic ideology," he added.According to the Community Security Trust, which records antisemitic incidents across Great Britain, attacks against Jewshave surged, with some 3,528 incidents reported in 2024 and 4,296 in 2023 the highest ever.SIGN UP FOR ANTISEMITISM EXPOSED NEWSLETTERA survey of British Jewry published by the Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAM) in January 2025, showed that only one third (34%) believe the community has a long-term future in the U.K., and up to half said they had considered leaving Britain in the past two years due to antisemitism. The poll also found that less than half of British Jews (43%) feel welcome in the U.K., with the majority saying they needed to hide their Judaism due to antisemitism. Less than one-tenth said they believe the authorities were doing enough to address and punish antisemitism.Additionally, 92% said they view the medias bias against Israel as fueling the persecution of Jews in Britain. The BBC, respondents said, was the worst in terms of its coverage of matters of Jewish interest."It has been clear for a while that antisemitism has been normalized in the U.K. But the fact that it is now broadcast openly and plainly on the BBC with minimal outcry shows how bad the situation has become," CAM CEO Sacha Roytman told Fox News Digital."Incitement to violence should be a red line which forces the British government and the BBC to take all measures possible against these artists and make sure they do not have such a platform to spew their hate and violence ever again," he said.Britain's center-left Prime Minister Keir Starmer belatedlycondemned Vylans performance, saying in a statement, "There is no excuse for this kind of appalling hate speech" and calling on the BBC "to explain how these scenes came to be broadcast," according to media reports.Danny Cohen, a former BBC director, wrote in the Daily Telegraph on Sunday that the BBC was violating its own guidelines on hate speech and called on the government to take moreaction."The BBC has repeatedly shown itself unable to get its own house in order on antisemitism," he wrote, citing, "consistent Jew-hate and bias from reporters on BBC Arabic" and a recent "debacle" surrounding a tainted documentary about Gaza.British Jewrys umbrella organization, the Board of Deputies, said in a statement that it would "continue to seek answers from the BBC about how that hateful content was allowed to be broadcast and to ensure there can be no repetition of this in the future."UK CHILDREN WARNED TO HIDE JEWISH IDENTITY AS ANTISEMITIC INCIDENTS SKYROCKET AMID WAR IN ISRAEL: REPORTIt also condemned Glastonbury Festival, saying "its professed commitment to peace, unity, respect and hope rings hollow when its stage is used to promote chants calling for death.""What happened at Glastonbury is a symptom of a sickness in British society," said Nicole Lampert, a U.K.-based journalist andactivist against antisemitism."For me, and I say this with great sadness as a Brit and also as someone who spent many years as an entertainment journalist, this starts with the BBC."Lampert said the BBC, which Britons pay for via their taxes, offers "very little nuance in the reporting" of the conflicts in the Middle East."There are meant to be rules in place which means that the BBC and its journalists are strictly neutral, but social media has shown that to be a lie," she said, adding "every day on every Jewish group Im on, someone is saying I cant stay here."In a post on X, Israeli Minister for Diaspora Affairs Amichai Chikli urged British Jews to "leave the country.""The BBC has a long history of severe bias against Israel, but today a dark line was crossed by broadcasting calls for the murder of IDF soldiers," he wrote, adding that "when such incitement is normalized, those who fail to act, those who do nothing to stop it, bear responsibility for the blood of Jews and Israelis living in Britain."Like the prime minister, the BBC belatedly released a statementsaying it"should have pulled" the livestream of the performance and that Vylan's performance contained"utterly unacceptable" and "antisemitic sentiments.""Millions of people tuned in to enjoy Glastonbury this weekend across the BBC's output, but one performance within our live streams included comments that were deeply offensive," the BBC said. The British government did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital questions.0 Comments 0 Shares 2 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMDave Rubin warns Jews to 'get the hell out' of NYC if Mamdani becomes mayorPolitical commentator Dave Rubin warned his fellow Jewish Americans on Friday that they should flee New York City if Zohran Mamdani becomes the new mayor in November.Mamdani, a Ugandan-born Muslim New York State Assemblyman from Queens, won the race to become the Democratic Partys nominee for New York City mayor, but Republicans and even some Democrats haveblasted the democratic socialistas too extreme. He has also been criticized for his stance on Israel and refusing to condemn the phrase "Globalize the intifada," concerning many Jewish New Yorkers amid rising antisemitism."This guy is an absolute radical," Rubin said about Mamdani. "He said that if Bibi Netanyahu showed up in New York City he would arrest him... He's still chanting 'From to the river to the sea,' all of this stuff."FLASHBACK: NYC MAYORAL CANDIDATE ZOHRAN MAMDANI VOWED TO ARREST NETANYAHU IF HE VISITED THE CITYMamdani immigrated to the United States when he was seven years old from South Africa and became a naturalized citizen in 2018 after he graduated from college. When asked on a podcast in mid-June about phrases like "From the river to the sea" and "Globalize the intifada," Mamdani responded, "I know people for whom those things mean very different things, and to me, ultimately, what I hear in so many, is a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights."The clip went viral, as Jewish advocacy groups and influencers slammed Mamdani for what they say is a refusal to condemn the phrase "Globalize the intifada," a rallying cry that has been used by anti-Israel protesters against the war in Gaza. Many Democratic Party figures have called on Mamdani to denounce the phrase in recent days, including Sen. Kristen Gillibrand, D-N.Y., Rep. Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y., and MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., said Sunday, "'Globalizing the intifada,' by way of example, is not an acceptable phrase. Hes going to have to clarify his position on that as he moves forward."He continued, "With respect to the Jewish communities that I represent, I think our nominee is going to have to convince folks that he is prepared to aggressively address the rise in antisemitism in the city of New York, which has been an unacceptable development."COLBERT GRILLS DEM SOCIALIST NYC MAYORAL CANDIDATE ZOHRAN MAMDANI ON ISRAEL, ANTISEMITISMRubin warned that Mandani's New York could be yet another place Jewish people have to flee from for their safety."I've said it on my show for weeks with this guy, if he wins in the fall, if you are Jewish, you leave New York City, period. And the Jews have an awful lot to do with a thriving New York City for over a hundred years. But you get the Hell out," Rubin warned. "Unfortunately, thats a bit of the story of the Jews, but you get out. There will be pogroms.""Already right now in New York City, they don't have functioning police," Rubin added. "Well, wait till this guy gets in charge where he's already calling for defunding the police, and all of the rest of it."He argued that citizens ability to defend themselves may be compromised as well, pointing to a tweet from Mamdani saying, "We need to ban all guns."CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP"I mean, regardless of what your feelings are on guns or the difference between, you know, a semi-automatic and a handheld or whatever, ban all guns, I mean, no, that's a constitutionally guaranteed right," Rubin added. "So he is a radical of radicals."Fox News Digital reached out to Mamdani for comment and did not receive an immediate reply.0 Comments 0 Shares 2 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMPope, State Department condemn latest massacre of Christians by Islamist militants in NigeriaThe State Department has joined the pope in lashing out at the latest massacre of Christians in Nigeria, reportedly by Islamist Fulani "terrorists."Pope Leo XIV declared during a recent address to thousands at the Vatican that "some 200 people were murdered, with extraordinary cruelty" on June 13in Yelewata, in Nigerias Benue State.Late Monday, a State Department spokesperson told Fox News Digital,"We strongly condemn these increasing attacks, including recent massacres in Benue state which primarily targeted Christian farming villages.""Shouting "Allahu Akbar" (Arabic for "God is great"), they (the attackers) burnt the buildings and attacked people with guns and machetes," NGO Aid to the Church in Need wrote in a statement, addingthat the militants "used fuel to set fire to the doors of the peoples accommodation before opening fire."BISHOP'S VILLAGE ATTACKED, 20 SLAIN AFTER RECENT TESTIMONY TO CONGRESS ON CHRISTIAN PERSECUTIONThe pope told the crowds in Rome that the majority of those "brutally killed" in Yelewata had been sheltering in a Catholic sanctuary."Most of the victims were internal refugees, who were hosted by a local Catholic mission," the pontiff stated. He added that he would pray for "security, peace and justice," particularly for "rural Christian communities of the Benue state who have been relentless victims of violence."Nigeria is one of the most dangerous places in the world to be a Christian, according to Open Doors Internationals 2025 World Watch List (WWL).Of the 4,476 Christians killed worldwide in WWLs latest reporting period, 3,100 of those who died 69% were in Nigeria.Talking to Fox News Digital, a State Department spokesperson reinforced reports that the attacks on Christians are being carried out by Islamic militant groups. "The United States remains deeply concerned about the levels of violence in Nigeria, including the threats posed by terrorist groups like Boko Haram and ISIS-West Africa in northern Nigeria, and the impact that violence has on all communities in Nigeria."This year, Islamist militants have often attacked areas of Nigeria where the people are predominantly Christian. Benue State, where the latest massacre took place, is said to be 93% Christian. One Nigerian church leader, who asked to remain anonymous for his safety, told Fox News Digital just last monththat what the attackers"want is to be sure that Islam [takes] over every part of these places. And so they're doing everything to make sure that Christianity is brought down and Islam is [the] established No. 1. They want to make sure that Sharia law (strict Islamic law)has taken over Nigeria."The State Department spokesperson appeared to back up this viewpoint, saying, "violent extremist groups target a wide range of civilians and military targets as part of their broader campaign against a secular state. The increase in violent Islamic extremism and repeated attacks against vulnerable communities in Nigeria must be addressed more effectively."FEARS REMAIN THIS EASTER THAT CHRISTIANS IN NIGERIA ARE BEING WIPED OUT' BY MUSLIM EXTREMISTSA Nigerian bishop told Fox News Digital in June that he had been threatened and his home village murderously attacked after he appealed to lawmakers at a March congressional hearingfor the killing of Christians to stop.Bishop Wilfred Anagbe said that after he went to Washington to testify, "terrorist Jihadists" killed 20 parishioners in fourattacks in 10 days in his diocese, the area he is responsible for. Now, the bishop is in hiding afterseveral foreign embassies in Nigerias capital Abuja warned him of credible high-level official threats that "something might happen to him."The State Department spokesperson added, "We regularly urge the Government of Nigeria to intensify their efforts to protect civilians, enforce rule of law, and hold perpetrators accountable. The United States partners with the Government of Nigeria to strengthen Nigerias counterterrorism capabilities, working together toward the elimination of terrorist organizations and their networks of support."The Nigerian government did not respond to a Fox News Digital request for comment. However, President Bola Tinubu visited Benue State this past week and told reporters, "Lets fashion out a framework for lasting peace."The same day, in the same district, six more people were reported to have been killed.0 Comments 0 Shares 2 Views 0 Reviews
