Trump hostage envoy dismisses report of Israel abandonment threat as 'fake news'
FIRST ON FOX: In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital at the annual Jerusalem Post Conference in New York, Special Envoy for Hostage Response Adam Boehler responded to a Washington Post report that claimed President Donald Trump threatened to abandon Israel unless the war ended as "fake news.""That sounds like fake news to me," he said. "I think the president has maintained a very high degree of support for Israel." He added, "He may be saying, 'Hey, listen, lets try to end the war,' he might speak strongly, but I think American president, in particular, this president's support, President Trumps support for Israel is ironclad."Separately, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee also rejected the claim. In an interview with Israel's Ynet, he said, "Their reporting is nonsense. They need to listen to what the President says - not what some uninformed 'source' pretends to know.'"ISRAELI AMBASSADOR LASHES OUT AT UN OFFICIAL, CONDEMNS UK, FRANCE, CANADA STATEMENT ON AIDBoehler emphasized that the U.S. government's primary focus remains on securing the release of the 58 hostages still held by Hamas. "I think there's obviously continued back and forth. The President made it very clear that he wants something to come to conclusion.""I know that he and Steve [Witkoff] are working very hard right now to try to bring that home. So, a very fluid situation, but our primary focus is number one, the hostages, and number two, Israels security," he said.On the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Boehler addressed the recent development of opening borders to allow aid trucks into Gaza after two months of a blockade. He also discussed the new U.S.-backed mechanism that could potentially replace the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA)."Perhaps there needs to be a replacement for UNRWA. Weve had a lot of issues with the U.N. And if this works, if it gets food to the Palestinian people who need it, then I greatly favor it," Boehler said.Later, in an interview on stage at the Jerusalem Post conference, Boehler recalled the tense moments surrounding the release of American-Israeli soldier Edan Alexander. "Its an unbelievable moment. It was an unbelievable moment on Sunday. The whole time, we couldnt sleep. It was exciting, nerve-wracking. We watched pretty much real-time. We were waiting for Steve Witkoff to come. We were waiting the whole time for the Red Cross. When the helicopter landed, we saw it on TV. That first phone call was unbelievable. It was right on Mothers Day when we went over. It had a lot of meaning for me, Steve, and everybody."ISRAEL TURNS TABLES ON UN OFFICIAL CLAIMING 'GENOCIDE' IN GAZA WITH BASIC QUESTIONSAs for the timeframe for the hostage deal, Boehler expressed cautious optimism: "I think it's getting closer and closer to making a deal here. If Hamas wants to come forward and make a legitimate offer, theyre willing to stand by and release hostages, were always open to that."He also credited the recent Israeli ground operations for increasing pressure on Hamas, saying, "I do think were closer than we ever were. Part of that is because of the movement of Israel and the IDF on the ground."Finally, addressing the recent joint statement from the leaders of the United Kingdom, France and Canada, which condemned Israels military operations in Gaza and called for an immediate ceasefire, Boehler responded firmly. "The United States has always been a fervent supporter of Israel. If I were a European country, I'd be particularly sensitive in how I criticize Israel."

Chinese wearable eVTOL jetpack makes historic first flight
Have you ever imagined what personal flying could look like in the near future? China's Zhiyuan Research Institute, based in Hangzhou, is bringing that vision closer to reality. They just unveiled what they're calling the world's first tri-ducted wearable electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for individual use, and their recent demo flight is already sparking curiosity about the future of personal flight.Join the FREE "CyberGuy Report": Get my expert tech tips, critical security alerts and exclusive deals, plus instant access to myfree "Ultimate Scam Survival Guide" when you sign up!The coolest thing about this eVTOL is its tri-ducted propulsion system. That means it has three powerful propellers, one on the left, one on the right and one in the back, all working together to keep the aircraft stable and efficient. This setup isn't just for show. It actually helps the vehicle fly smoother, cut down on noise and hover more reliably. It's the first time a manned aircraft has used this kind of design, which is pretty groundbreaking.Safety is a huge focus for the Zhiyuan team. They built in a one-click separation system that lets the pilot quickly detach from the aircraft and deploy a low-altitude parachute if something goes wrong. That way, the pilot can land safely even in an emergency, which is a big comfort for anyone flying solo.Flying this thing isn't just for experts. Zhiyuan developed a ground control system that helps keep things simple. The eVTOL can hover steadily and fly on its own without the pilot having to constantly control it, and it can make quick, agile moves when needed. The controls are designed to be easy to use, so even people without much flying experience can handle them.On the power side, the team created a new propulsion system with a high thrust-to-weight ratio. They used advanced ducted motor designs to make the whole thing more efficient. Plus, the flight control system can handle turbulent weather, so the ride stays smooth even when the air gets rough.WHAT HACKERS CAN LEARN ABOUT YOU FROM A DATA BROKER FILEHOW SECURE IS MY PASSWORD? USE THIS TEST TO FIND OUTThis wearable eVTOL isn't just a cool gadget. Zhiyuan sees it as being useful in all kinds of real-world situations. It could help with emergency rescues, maintaining electrical infrastructure or cleaning skyscrapers. It also has the potential for sightseeing and leisure flights, and it could be used for border patrol or customs inspections. With its versatility and easy controls, this aircraft could be a game changer for both professionals and adventure seekers. However, there is currently no official information on the commercial availability or price of Zhiyuan's tri-ducted wearable eVTOL. The aircraft has completed its first public demonstration, but details about when it will be available for purchase and at what cost remain undisclosed.ARE THESE AUTONOMOUS TRANSPORT PODS THE FUTURE OF SKY-HIGH COMMUTING?This new eVTOL is part of a much bigger trend in China. The country is working hard to grow what it calls its "low-altitude economy," which includes drones, eVTOLs and other aircraft that fly below about 3,280 feet. The government has made low-altitude aviation a priority and is promising support for commercial spaceflight and next-generation air mobility technologies. Experts estimate that this industry could be worth more than $137 billion by 2030 as these aircraft find more uses in areas like logistics, tourism and public services.SUBSCRIBE TO KURTS YOUTUBE CHANNEL FOR QUICK VIDEO TIPS ON HOW TO WORK ALL OF YOUR TECH DEVICESTHIS FLYING MOTORCYCLE CAN TAKE YOU FROM TRAFFIC TO SKY IN MINUTESIts pretty crazy to watch personal flying tech take off like this. Zhiyuans tri-ducted wearable eVTOL is already up in the air, giving us a peek at what getting around might look like down the road. As these things become easier to use and more common, flying could end up being just another way we get from place to place, whether for work, emergencies or just for fun.Would you be excited or nervous to try out this kind of personal aircraft? Maine fishermen support Jordon Hudson after he advocacy during pageant: 'Together, we persevere'
The Maine Coast Fishermans Association praised Jordon Hudson for her advocacy during the Miss Maine USA pageant earlier this month.Support for Maine fishermen appeared to be close to Hudsons heart. She has championed their cause, not only in the pageant, but also thanked Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and the Trump administration for its renegotiation of the Maine Sea Grant funding.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM"Advocating for Maines commercial fisherman takes many forms, and sometimes it walks across a stage in heels wearing a bikini," the Maine Coast Fishermens Association wrote on its Instagram Stories on Monday. "Jordon Hudson is helping shine a spotlight on Maine fishing communities in ways we never imagined, from the stage to the working waterfront."Were grateful for voices like Jordons that remind us advocacy doesnt always look the same, but it always matters. Together, we persevere."Hudson was asked during the Miss Maine USA pageant a moment in life she would want to go back to. She said she wished she could be transported back to her familys fishing boat.JORDON HUDSON ABSENT FROM BILL BELICHICK'S 'GOOD MORNING AMERICA' INTERVIEW AFTER CBS FIASCO"I think about this often because theres a mass exodus for fishermen occurring in the rural areas of Maine, and I dont want to see more fishermen leave this place," she said, via Mass Live. "As your next Miss Maine USA, I would make a point to go to communities to go into the government and advocate for these people so that they dont have to think about these memories as a past moment."Hudsons parents owned a fishing business, Frenchmans Bay Fisheries, in Maine. However, after the area they used to fish, Taunton Bay, was closed off to fishing by the state in 2000, their business eventually went bankrupt years later. Her familys ship reportedly suffered damage and couldnt afford repairs. The family attempted to lobby the state and local legislatures to ease up on regulations that impeded the fishing industry, and eventually the closure of their business. The family eventually moved to Massachusetts.Fox News Jackson Thompson contributed to this report.Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

The junior received massive cheers in the video that circulated around social media and praised her as the "real champion."The 16-year-old was among those who told Fox News Digital last week that CIF officials made her and her fellow athletes remove their "Protect Girls Sports" T-shirts before their meet at the CIF Southern Section Prelims.MAINE TEENS BATTLING STATE DEMOCRATS ON GIRLS' SPORTS BILL AFTER ENDURING TRANS ATHLETE CHAOS IN HIGH SCHOOLShe alleged that officials made them feel that if they did not take off their shirts, then they would be disqualified from the event."It wasn't said, but it was implied that if I didn't take my shirt off then and there, then something could potentially happen to my spot, it wasn't said, but it was implied," Hogan said. "Throughout the day it was kind of getting a little bit more stricter getting a little bit more hostile with their voices they never said anything about getting disqualified, but it was kind of implied by the tone of their voice and the way that they said things."Since the controversy at the prelims, the Trump administration has put California and Gov. Gavin Newsom on notice. The state has still bucked President Donald Trumps executive order to keep biological males out of girls and womens sports. Trump heads to Capitol Hill to push 'big, beautiful bill'
President Donald Trump is headed to Capitol Hill on Tuesday to push Republicans toward passing his "big, beautiful bill."Trump's visit comes as House Republicans are split between spending hawks who want to cut more of the deficit and moderates who are seeking expanded tax deductions for Americans. Trump himself pushed tax cuts in a statement on Monday."If we don't get it, that means the Democrats will have stopped us. And that means people will get a 68% tax increase, the largest in history. And if we do get it, we're going to have the largest tax decrease in history," Trump said. The House Rules Committee is set to vote on the bill just after midnight tonight after the House Budget Committee approved the bill earlier this week.ANTI-ABORTION PROVIDER MEASURE IN TRUMP'S 'BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL' COULD SPARK HOUSE GOP REBELLIONIf the legislation passes through the House, it will face another perhaps tougher battle in the Senate, where some lawmakers have floated breaking up the bill to pass certain priorities more quickly.Trump urged Republicans to "STOP TALKING, AND GET IT DONE" in a post on social media this week.BROWN UNIVERSITY IN GOP CROSSHAIRS AFTER STUDENT'S DOGE-LIKE EMAIL KICKS OFF FRENZYTrump will attend the House Republicans' weekly meeting on the Hill, but it is not clear whether he will meet with individual holdouts directly.Meanwhile, Democrats argue the legislation is a handout for the wealthiest Americans."They literally are trying to take health care away from millions of Americans at this very moment in the dead of night," House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries said Monday."If this legislation is designed to make life better for the American people, can someone explain to me why they would hold a hearing to advance the bill at 1 a.m. in the morning?" he added. The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, a nonpartisan fiscal watchdog group, estimates that the House bill is shaping up to add roughly $3.3 trillion to the debt over the next decade. The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Rare mint allergy leaves woman wishing she was 'allergic to peanuts' instead
A Virginia archaeologist who is allergic to mint said her reaction is so severe that she's been hospitalized because of a stranger's "toothpaste breath" from three feet away.Kyleigh Digiovanni, 25, of York, Virginia, has found it painful to brush her teeth ever since she was a child, but her family initially thought she was just being "fussy," she shared with news agency SWNS. (See the video at the top of this article.)When Digiovanni started to tell family members that her toothpaste "burned" and when she got red rashes on the inside of her mouth at age 10 she went to see a doctor.MAN IS ALLERGIC TO 28 DIFFERENT FOODS, SAYS LIFE IS 'INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT'Testing revealed Digiovanni's mint allergy. She also has reactions to lavender, rosemary and thyme.Digiovanni said she spent two years unable to brush her teeth while her family searched for a non-menthol toothpaste. These days, she's brushing her teeth with a blue raspberry-flavored fluoride-based toothpaste for children.Over time, it seems that her allergy worsened to the point that she can't be anywhere near people chewing gum or using mint cough drops. She said she's been hospitalized 12 times in the last year, including an episode in November when a co-worker who used mint toothpaste accidentally breathed on her.WOMAN WHO IS 'ALLERGIC TO EVERYTHING' CAN ONLY EAT THESE 2 THINGSDigiovanni said she carries an oral medication to stop her from going into anaphylactic shock."They can treat me quickly," she said, referring to hospital healthcare professionals. "I was in for a couple of hours. They pump me with antihistamine and adrenaline."That makes public transportation "like playing Russian roulette with five bullets in a chamber," she told SWNS."There are reasons I walk everywhere," Digiovanni said. "If I go on the train, I wear a mask."Dr. Neeta Ogden, an allergist and immunologist in Edison, New Jersey, told Fox News Digital that while these kinds of allergies are rare, they do exist."Allergy is strange like that," said Ogden, who is not involved in Digiovanni's care.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR LIFESTYLE NEWSLETTER"You can definitely find stories where you're like, 'Huh, I never heard of that.' And it's hard to believe, but there are cases of it happening."Allergic reactions to mint can range from "mild to severe and life-threatening," according to Healthline. The more common symptoms may include mouth tingling or itching; swollen lips and tongue; swollen, itchy throat; nausea, vomiting and diarrhea; and abdominal pain. Some people may also experience skin irritation as a result of contact dermatitis, which may cause redness, itching, swelling, tenderness, blisters and/or hives, the above source stated.Digiovanni said she's never met anyone with her particular allergy, but she's found an online support group with 20 others who struggle with similar allergic reactions."I think that we're fortunate to live in a time [when] there are these online support groups," Ogden said. For more Lifestyle articles, visit www.foxnews.com/lifestyle"Before then, it was such an isolated thing, where somebody thought they were the rare one or two people in the country [who] might have a rare condition, and in this way, they can share solutions."Digiovanni said she can manage her allergy, but never knows when she might go into shock.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP"I wish I was allergic to peanuts," she added.

Director Wes Anderson confused by Trump's 100% foreign-produced movie tariffs proposal
Filmmaker Wes Anderson mocked the "interesting" idea of President Donald Trump enforcing a 100% tariff on foreign-produced films on Monday. While promoting his new film "The Phoenician Scheme" at the Cannes Film Festival, Anderson was asked about Trumps proposal earlier this month to slap tariffs on films produced outside the United States.Anderson, whose film was partially shot in Germany, was confused by the idea and wondered how it could even be enforced.LIGHTS, CAMERA, TARIFFS: WILL TRUMP'S PROPOSAL TO BOOST AMERICAN FILM JOBS WORK? AMERICANS AREN'T SURE"The tariff is interesting because Ive never heard of a 100% tariff before," Anderson told reporters. "Im not an expert in that area of economics, but I feel that means hes saying hes going to take all the money. And then what do we get? So its complicated to me. Can you hold up the movie in customs? It doesnt ship that way."Anderson, known for his unique directing style and such hits as "The Grand Budapest Hotel," then admitted that he was "not sure" about the tariff itself and wanted the full details before giving an "official answer."Despite Trumps announcement, the White House later said there were "no final decisions" on how to address foreign filmmaking but added that it was "exploring all options" to promote domestic productions and "Make Hollywood Great Again."Opinions have largely been split on the idea of a 100% tariff on films and whether it could help the entertainment industry. Fellow film director Richard Linklater also responded to questions on the tariffs at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday, though he had harsher criticism for Trump.CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE OF MEDIA AND CULTURE"I mean for the tariff, thats not going to happen, right? The guy changes his mind 50 times in one day, whatever. Its the one export industry of the U.S., itd be kind of dumb," Linklater said.In a rare collaborative tone, California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom offered support for Trumps efforts to "Make America Film Again." He has instead proposed a $7.5 billion federal tax credit program to incentivize TV and film production.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP
