WWW.FOXNEWS.COMROBERT MAGINNIS: 9 signs Beijing's Taiwan invasion may be imminentU.S. Secretary ofDefense Pete Hegseth issued a stark warning Saturday at the Shangri-La Dialogue security conference in Singapore: Chinas military is "rehearsing for the real deal," and a full-scale invasion of Taiwan "could be imminent.""We are not going to sugarcoat it the threat China poses is real," he added.CHINA LAUNCHES LARGE MILITARY DRILLS AROUND TAIWAN TO ISSUE 'SEVERE WARNING'Beijing swiftly rejected the allegation.Rear Admiral Hu Gangfeng, head of the Chinese delegation and vice president of Chinas National Defense University, called the remarks "groundless accusations," stating that "some of the claims are completely fabricated, some distort facts and some are cases of a thief crying stop thief." Despite such denials, a growing body of evidence suggests China may indeed be preparing for a military move against Taiwan.Numerous indicators draw this conclusion. Here are nine:1. China has intensified itsjoint sea and air exercises surrounding Taiwan, including rehearsals simulating blockades, encirclements, and amphibious assaults. These drills closely mirror operational strategies that would likely be employed in an actual invasion and are widely interpreted by analysts as concrete signals of Beijings willingness to use force.2. The Peoples Liberation Army (PLA) has positionedH-6 bombers, capable of delivering nuclear payloads, on outposts such as Woody Island in the South China Sea. These platforms significantly extend Chinas strike capability and serve as strategic messaging to both Taipei and Washington.3. China continues to conduct gray-zone operations akanon-kinetic forms of coercion, including cyberattacks on Taiwans infrastructure, disinformation campaigns, and illegal incursions by maritime militia vessels. Though these actions fall below the threshold of open warfare, they are designed to wear down Taiwans defenses and destabilize the region.4. According toU.S. intelligence assessments, Chinese President Xi Jinping has instructed the PLA to be capable of launching an invasion of Taiwan by 2027. While not a confirmed deadline for action, it has catalyzed PLA modernization, emphasizing joint force integration and amphibious readiness.5. Chinas strategic expansion inLatin America especially through Belt and Road investments and attempts to influence key nodes such as the Panama Canal reflect broader ambitions to project global power and encircle U.S. interests. These moves indirectly support Taiwan-related ambitions by distracting or overextending U.S. response capabilities.6. Recent PLA exercises have incorporatedcivilian ferries capable of transporting tanks and personnelsuggesting preparations for amphibious operations on Taiwans shores. The dual-use nature of these assets allows China to mask military buildup under the guise of civilian activity.7. Beijing has intensified its political narrative around "reunification," including state media coverage, educational reforms, and speeches by top Chinese officials. These ideological signals often precede military action in authoritarian regimes.8, China has rapidly expanded itscoastal infrastructure, including new docks, airstrips, and logistics hubs in Fujian Provincedirectly across the Taiwan Strait. Satellite imagery suggests these assets are optimized for a cross-strait operation.9. Chinese fighter jets and warships have entered Taiwans Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) at unprecedented levels. In early 2025 alone, PLA aircraft breachedTaiwans ADIZ over 1,200 times, prompting elevated readiness levels in Taipei.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONThe question of whether China will invade Taiwan is no longer hypothetical but a matter of timing and risk calculus. While Beijing continues to deny aggressive intent, the evidence suggests a sustained and deliberate military buildup with the intent to compel reunificationif not peacefully, then by force.Hegseths warning reflects not alarmism, but a sober assessment of escalating realities. These indicatorsmilitary drills, strategic deployments, political rhetoric, and infrastructure mobilizationalign with historical precedents for pre-invasion posturing. The international community must take this threat seriously. Strengthening deterrence, improving intelligence sharing, and reinforcing Taiwans self-defense capabilities are critical to avoiding a regional catastrophe. For the United States and its allies, readiness is no longer optionalit is a strategic imperative.CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM ROBERT MAGINNIS0 Comentários 0 Compartilhamentos 82 Visualizações 0 Anterior

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMPat McAfee tells John Mellencamp to 'shut the f--- up' after taking offense at Pacers hype-up speechJohn Mellencamp and Pat McAfee are officially at war.It all started when Mellencamp took offense to McAfee calling out celebrity Knicks fans during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals between New York and the Indiana Pacers. After calling out Ben Stiller, Spike Lee, and Timothee Chalamet, which prompted boos in Indianapolis, McAfee implored fans to "turn this s--- up" and "send these sons of b------ back to New York with their ears ringing."CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMMellencamp, though, said in a statement that he was "embarrassed" that "somebody" used "poor sportsmanship" - without mentioning McAfee by name. McAfee replied on X that "I am somebody."But on his own show Friday, McAfee fired back at the singer."When the Knicks are playing in Gainbridge, I believe there is going to be some boos. There might be some negative things said toward the other team. That's kind of how sports work, I think," McAfee began. "We are going to be an agent of only good things at sports stuff happening. Only positive cheers going forward, because that will make John Cougar Mellencamp happy."The former Indianapolis Colt added, "I don't know what he thought he was doing.""He puts out this horrendous quote tweet, horrendous graphic. John, can't tell you how bad everything you did here was. The graphic, the quote, the timing, your two days late, John John, shut the f--k upPACERS LEGEND REGGIE MILLER APPEARS TO TAKE SIDES IN JOHN MELLENCAMP-PAT MCAFEE BEEF"You thought you were gonna bury me? WWW.FOXNEWS.COMPolitico questions Trump's 'messianic rhetoric,' wonders if he sees himself as GodA Politico writer said PresidentDonald Trump is using "messianic rhetoric" and questioned if the 47th president thinks hes like God."Trumps outlook has shifted in essence from stuff happens and nothing much matters to something happened and it couldnt matter more," the Friday piece authored by Michael Kruse, a senior staff writer at Politico and Politico Magazine, said. "His rhetoric has gone from borderline nihilistic to messianic."The piece gave examples of Trump invoking God, especially following the July 13, 2024,assassination attempt on Trump inButler, Pennsylvania.INSIDE DONALD TRUMPS RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, IN HIS OWN WORDS: 'I WAS SAVED'During hisNovember victory speech at Mar-a-Lago, Trump said, "God spared my life for a reason," and during his inaugural speech at the Capitol in January, he said that he "was saved by God to make America great again.""For a while now, a roster of religious believers and leaders, grateful for the political victories Trump has bestowed in exchange for their votes, have suggested and sometimes outright said that Trump ischosen, oranointed, or asavior, orthe second coming orthe Christ for this age,"Kruse wrote. "Now, though, Trump does it, too."The headline asked, "Does Trump Actually Think Hes God?"The piece also mentioned Trump joking that he wouldlike to be pope, as well as theAI depiction of himself as pope that he posted on social media that was also shared by the White House."Its worth asking. Does Trump think hes God," Kruse asked. "OK, he almost certainly doesnt think hes God but does he think hes God-like? Divinely sanctioned or inspired or empowered? Does he think hes somehow imbued with some special, sacred purpose for some special, sacred reason? Or did he just see and seize an opportunity to stamp his world-upending agenda with the ultimate justification a mandate from God?"Kruse saidAlan Marcus, a former Trump consultant and publicist, told him that he has "no reason to doubt that he would prefer to believe he was saved by a supreme being because he himself is special rather than the would-be assassin was a lousy shot or he got lucky."TRUMP SAYS LIFE WAS SPARED TO 'RESTORE AMERICA TO GREATNESS' DURING VICTORY SPEECHMarie Griffith, the director of the John C. Danforth Center on Religion and Politics at Washington University in St. Louis, toldKruse that she thinks Trump sees himself as a "chosen one.""Perhaps opportunism and genuine belief in his own chosenness arent mutually exclusive," Griffith said. "But whether he truly believes it or not, it is plainly in his interest to keep talking as if everything he does is sanctioned by God," she said. "And I think just looking at the rhetoric, you have to wonder if Butler really shook him up and he thought, Maybe they are right. Maybe I really am the chosen one."Stephen Mansfield, author of"Choosing Donald Trump: God, Anger, Hope, and Why Christian Conservatives Supported Him," toldKruse that he thinks Trump believes he is a "tool of God."Molly Worthen, a history professor at the University of North Carolina who specifically focuses on history and religion, toldKruse that Trump is a "nihilist for whom the only source of meaning is the amassing of personal power, turning his will into personal, political, financial and territorial domination." She added, "Thats totally compatible with a messiah complex."She added that she doesnt "see the recent turn in his language as a deviation from past patterns, but the fuller realization of those patterns."Kruse's piece also highlighted a meme Trump posted on his TruthSocial account on Wednesday night that depicts Trump walking down a dark street with the words, "Hes on a mission from God, nothing can stop what is coming."Kruse said he asked White House communications director Steven Cheung in a text message if the president "literally" believes those words."As people of faith, we are all on missions from God," Cheung said. "The president has the biggest mission to Make America Great Again and to help bring peace across the world. And hes doing just that."0 Comentários 0 Compartilhamentos 88 Visualizações 0 Anterior

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMMichelle Obama facing backlash over claim about women's reproductive healthFormer First Lady Michelle Obama is facing backlash after saying that creating life is "the least" of what a womans reproductive system does.On the latest episode of the podcast "IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson," the former first lady and her brother were joined by OB/GYN Dr. Sharon Malone, whose husband, Eric Holder, served as Attorney General under former President Barack Obama. During the discussion, the former first lady lamented that womens reproductive health "has been reduced to the question of choice.""I attempted to make the argument on the campaign trail this past election was that theres just so much more at stake and because so many men have no idea about what women go through," Obama said. She went on to claim that the lack of research on womens health shapes male leaders perceptions of the issue of abortion.MICHELLE OBAMA AND ERIC HOLDER'S WIFE BONDED OVER BEING 'RELUCTANT SPOUSES' TO FAMOUS MEN"Womens reproductive health is about our life. Its about this whole complicated reproductive system that the least of what it does is produce life," Obama added, "Its a very important thing that it does, but you only produce life if the machine thats producing it if you want to whittle us down to a machine is functioning in a healthy, streamlined kind of way."In the same episode, the former first lady seemed to scold Republican men by saying that the men who "sit on their hands" over abortion are choosing to "trade out womens health for a tax break or whatever it is." Obama also criticized Republican women, suggesting they voted for President Donald Trump because of their husbands."There are a lot of men who have big chairs at their tables, there are a lot of women who vote the way their man is going to vote, it happened in this election."MICHELLE OBAMA URGES PARENTS NOT TO TRY TO BE FRIENDS WITH THEIR CHILDRENThe "Becoming" authors remarks drew criticism from pro-life activists, including Danielle DSouza Gill, the wife of Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas. The couple announced the birth of their second child earlier in May."Motherhood is the most beautiful and powerful gift God gave women. Creating life isnt a side effect, its a miracle. Dont let the Left cheapen it," DSouza Gill wrote in a post on X.Isabel Brown, a content creator and author, also slammed the former first lady as a "supposed feminist icon.""I am SO sick [and] tired of celebrities [and] elitists attempting to convince you that your miraculous superpower ability to GROW LIFE from nothing is somehow demeaning [and] lesser than for women," Brown wrote. At the time of this writing, Obama's podcast is ranked 51 on Apple Podcasts and doesn't appear on the list of the top 100 podcasts on Spotify. However, it is ranked 91 on the list of 100 trending podcasts on Spotify. The entire episode with Malone is available on YouTube, where it currently has just under 41,150 views so far.0 Comentários 0 Compartilhamentos 81 Visualizações 0 Anterior

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMTinder's new head pushes company to move away from 'hookup' reputation and rebrand for Gen Z usersSpencer Rascoff, the CEO of Tinder parent company Match Group, is promising to change the reputation of Tinder as a casual hookup app into a more serious dating app."This generation of Gen Z, 18 to 28its not a hookup generation. They dont drink as much alcohol, they dont have as much sex," Rascoff said to a group of investors, according to The Wall Street Journal. "We need to adapt our products to accept that reality."Unlike the millennial generation, which helped popularize Tinder and shaped the dating app into a domestic and international success, Gen Z appears to be less interested in purely casual dating experiences. Some commentators believe that Gen Z is a generation that is tired of "ghosting," which is defined as suddenly cutting off communications with another person without warning, and instead seeking more authentic dating experiences.WASHINGTON STATE DEMOCRATS WANT TO TAX ONLINE DATING APPSRascoff signaled that Gen Z's dating preferences are key to the future success of Tinder as a company."Users dont want more matches, they want better ones," Rascoff wrote in the memo viewed by The Wall Street Journal.Better matches, according to Rascoff, means fundamentally shifting the way that users interact with Tinder."Think of Tinder like a bar where people come together to meet new people," Rascoff said. "We have to innovate to drive more people into our establishment, and that means renovating our bar."Rascoff is slated to take the top role at Tinder as well, in a leadership shift that shows the company's attempts to meet changing dating trends for a younger generation of users.HOW TO NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH AI-POWERED ROMANCE SCAMMERSWhile Gen Z struggles with "ghosting" in dating, they also struggle to meet important life milestones like marriage. In the dating world, Gen Zers have access to more potential partners than perhaps any other generation before them. Yet, at the same time, this age group, now between 13-28 years old, is getting married years after their Baby Boomer grandparents did, swiping through potential partners, and going out on dates with multiple people only to face higher rates of rejection.0 Comentários 0 Compartilhamentos 91 Visualizações 0 Anterior

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMWho is Julius Malema, the South African politician behind 'kill the farmer' chant?JOHANNESBURG - Julius Malema, the South African politician who President Donald Trump wants arrested for repeatedly chanting "kill the farmer," is reportedly a Rolex watch-wearing Gucci revolutionary, often seen in snazzy, expensive clothes, who champions the poor from a luxury mansion in what is said to be South Africas richest street. He has also called for the further arming of the terror group Hamas and has been accused of stealing millions of dollars from the very pensioners he is trying to get to vote for him.Trump confronted South African President Cyril Ramaphosa with a video of Malema shouting "Shoot to kill, Kill the Boer (the Afrikaner), kill the farmer," when the South African president, a neighbor of Malemas in Johannesburg, visited the Oval Office earlier this month.SOUTH AFRICA'S PRESIDENT PUSHES BACK ON TRUMP'S DEMAND TO ARREST POLITICIAN WHO CHANTED 'KILL THE FARMER'Trump has offered Afrikaner farmers, descendants of mostly Dutch settlers, refuge in the U.S., citing controversial and disputed claims that they are facing White genocide and forced land seizures. The self-styled commander in chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Party, Malema, a Marxist-Leninist, was the head of the Youth League of South Africas biggest party, the African National Congress (ANC), but he was kicked out for bad-mouthing its leadership. In last years election, votes for the EFF slumped to under 10%, and both of Malemas sidekicks, party co-founders and men he described as "brothers," left him and joined a competing party. So it did not come as a surprise to many that, allegedly to spite President Trump, Malema just days later jumped up, literally, onto the stage at the very next rally he was due to appear at to yell "Kill the farmer, I repeat kill the farmer."In 2022, South Africas Constitutional Court, the equivalent of the U.S. Supreme Court, ruled the chant is not hate speech, declaring it is only the words of a song. Malema sits on the Judicial Services Commission, a body which appoints the Courts judges. To Malema, critics say, the chant may be more than just song lyrics. At least twice he told reporters here, "We have not called for the killing of White people at least for now." On another occasion, he demanded, "We will cut the throat of Whiteness."TRUMP, SOUTH AFRICA IN GROWING ROW OVER HOTLY CONTESTED LAND LAW, COUNTRY'S DEALS WITH US FOESSome say Malema is running two strategies - one which follows the mantra "Theres no such thing as bad publicity," and the other to act like a small child that makes a lot of noise, hoping to be noticed, but with little real effect.Analyst J. Brooks Spector told Fox News Digital that Malema"has crafted a political reputation as the bad boy of South African politics."Spector, a former U.S. diplomat who lives in Johannesburg and is associate editor of the Daily Maverick, continued. "In a country with a third of its workforce unemployed, and higher among young people, and poverty still a fact of life for many more, his (Malemas) populism initially drew significant support and enthusiasm among voters. However, his popularity as a political leader has faded somewhat."Malema openly supports the terror group Hamas, telling a rally in 2023, shortly after the October 7 attack on Israel, "when you are oppressed, you only have one option, shoot to kill. There is nothing wrong with what Hamas is doing. The EFF is going to arm Hamas." He also shouted he intended to shut down the Israeli Embassy in South Africa. "We are going to remove this embassy," he yelled to loud cheers.Allegations also suggest that Malema and his then right-hand man, Floyd Shivambu, benefitted from "dodgy" deals with the South African VBS bank, which subsequently collapsed, leading to people losing their pension savings."In 2018, the VBS scandal exposed widespread looting by bank officials and politicians, including senior leaders of the EFF, Floyd Shivambu and Julius Malema,"the Opposition Democratic Alliances (DA) Baxolile Nodada stated last August. On Friday, the DAs federal executive member and national spokesperson, Willie Aucamp, told Fox News Digital the DA "isnt letting the VBS scandal fade into the background. Not when over R2 billion ($111 million) was looted from pensioners, struggling municipalities, and poor communities. The DA has been leading the charge to expose those behind this daylight robbery, including Julius Malema, leader of the EFF."He continued, "The DA laid criminal charges back in 2018, but six years later, not a single charge has been prosecuted by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA). Justice for the victims of VBS is long overdue. The DA will continue pushing for the arrest and prosecution of every single person involved - Malema included."Speaking in Cape Town in July last year, Malema said "I will never be intimidated by VBS. No leader of the EFF received VBS money."But now that Malema is on Donald Trumps radar, the president might push back powerfully on Malemas links to Hamas and the VBS saga, Max Meizlish, senior research analyst at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told Fox News Digital."Like the ANC that courts Iran and supports Hamas, Julius Malema would be wise to not provoke Donald Trump. After all, Malema was clearly implicated in the VBS scandaland has openly called to "arm Hamas." Malemacould very well find himself the target of Global Magnitsky Act sanctions a tool which President Trump can wield unilaterally and at a moments notice," Meizlish said.0 Comentários 0 Compartilhamentos 87 Visualizações 0 Anterior
