WWE star Becky Lynch pokes fun at Nikki Bella's breakup with John Cena: 'You can't see him anymore'
There's more breakup talk between female WWE stars.Earlier this year, Tiffany Stratton, not very slickly, mentioned Charlotte Flair's three divorces during a promo ahead of WrestleMania 41.It turned out that that was off script, and Flair was legitimately upset about it.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMHowever, Becky Lynch took a risk on Monday night at the first "Monday Night Raw" after an epic SummerSlam.Lynch shared the squared circle with Nikki Bella, and Bella mentioned how Lynch's husband, Seth Rollins, lied about a knee injury in order to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on Saturday night and win the World Heavyweight Championship.Lynch took offense and threw with an even harder jab, making fun of Bella and her since-defunct engagement to John Cena.WWE FANS REACT TO BROCK LESNAR'S RETURN AMID SEX TRAFFICKING CASE INVOLVEMENT: 'JUST COWARD STUFF'"Me and my hot husband are the greatest wrestling couple of all time. But wait a minute, at one point, that would have been you and your -- oh wait, you can't see him anymore," Lynch said, playing on Cena's signature "you can't see me" taunt. That garnered chants of "holy s---" from the crowd, and even Bella herself couldn't help but be impressed with the mention.Cena proposed to the WWE Hall of Famer during WrestleMania 33 after the couple won a mixed tag team match against The Miz and his wife, Maryse. They were engaged for nearly a year before calling off their wedding less than one month before the date.Bella was married before getting engaged to Cena, and married Artem Chigvinstev, her "Dancing With The Stars" partner, in 2022. However, the dancer was arrested in 2024 on a felony domestic violence charge, and two weeks later Bella filed for divorce.Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X,and subscribe tothe Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Kentucky governor praises FEMA under Trump, says its a 'credit to his administration'
Gov. Andy Beshear, D-Ky., offered some praise for President Donald Trump's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on Tuesday and said the administration had improved its customer service and had been effective on the ground. While discussing the impact of natural disasters with "At Our Table" podcast host Jaime Harrison, Beshear said he believed the American people agree that the federal government should be there at their darkest moments, "where through no fault of your own, a hurricane, a tornado, flooding has torn through your communities."Beshear gave credit to Trump's administration during the interview before suggesting it was something the president wants to scale back. "The irony of all of it to me is, is Trumps FEMA on the ground has done a good job in Kentucky. They have bettered their customer service. Were not getting nearly as many complaints. Theyre getting a lot of money through individual assistance out to families, especially after flooding. Its actually a credit to his administration, and it seems to be the thing that they want to undo or unwind. Hopefully, him seeing it personally has an emotional impact because we need FEMA for that emergency response," Beshear said.TRUMP, LAWMAKERS AT ODDS OVER WHETHER FEMA SHOULD BE ELEVATED TO CABINET-LEVEL AGENCY OR COMPLETELY OVERHAULEDJust days after taking office in January, Trump announced an executive order to completely overhaul or possibly eliminate FEMA, telling reporters, "I'll also be signing an executive order to begin the process of fundamentally reforming and overhauling FEMA, or maybe getting rid of FEMA.""I think, frankly, FEMA is not good," the president added.Beshear also said public assistance was still needed for some areas of his state."And one thing we havent seen is that public assistance really since February that helps out Laurel County, where London, Kentucky is, and Pulaski County, where Somerset is. Both of those counties went 80-plus percent for the president, but he hasnt approved public assistance that would help them as county governments since that tornado," he added.TRUMP ADMINISTRATION'S TEXAS FLOOD DISASTER RESPONSE 'FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT' FROM BIDEN'S APPROACH: NOEMThe Democratic governor, who has said he's considering running for president in 2028, also discussed some criticisms of the Democratic Party, specifically where the Biden administration could have done better."Weve got to make sure that we dont get in our own way. And what I mean by that is we've got to be able to look at things that maybe we should have done better. And, as we go forward, make sure that we are not tripping ourselves up," Beshear told Harrison, pointing to specific examples from Biden's presidency."One of my favorite programs that the Biden administration passed was the abandoned well-capping program. These are abandoned oil and gas wells that are pumping methane up into the environment, right? Its causing global warming. Capping them is the only program Ive ever seen where the environmentalists and the industry were both on board. So, the program first comes out, we cap more than anybody else in the nation and then they double the regulations for the second round," he said.Beshear continued, "And what happens? It almost all stops.""Were doing a bunch of archaeological studies, but were not capping those wells," the Democratic governor said.CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE OF MEDIA AND CULTUREHe also pointed to efforts by the Biden administration to expand internet access."We don't have one inch of fiber in the ground right now. We created so many rules. We had to get the subcontractor, the subcontractor, and the subcontractor before we ever got any money. And to this day, all the money is still sitting with the federal government when the states are supposed to get it out. So, we've got to be effective," Beshear said."I like to think we got to be the common sense, common ground, get stuff done type of party."

Mamdani preaches from pulpit of radical pastor pushing reparations, abolishing police: 'Brother and friend'
FIRST ON FOX: New York City socialist mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani appeared at a church over the weekend led by a pastor with a history of controversial statements on race, anti-Israel ties and support for reparations."My profound thanks to Rev. Stephen A. Green and the Greater Allen AME for the honor of addressing their beautiful congregation in Jamaica, Queens this morning," Mamdaniposted on X late Sunday.Mamdani spoke at the church for over 10 minutes and delivered a politically charged sermon that weaved in Scripture in an attempt to justify his campaign platform. Near the end of his sermon, Mamdani said New York City and the United States are facing a "dark moment." He then called the Trump administration an "authoritarian government" and slammed ICE for "abduct[ing]" immigrants.""That is not justice. It is cruelty and it is criminal. These are our neighbors. These are people who are guilty of only wanting a field of their own to harvest," he continued.NEW YORK LAWMAKER SOUNDS ALARM ON POTENTIAL 'DEVASTATING' EFFECTS OF MAMDANI VICTORY: 'CHAOS'He went on to target the issue of affordability in New York City, an issue that has resonated with his supporters, and asked, "What good is New York City being the greatest city in the world if New Yorkers cannot afford to live here?"Green, who called Mamdani his "brother and friend," repeatedly said, "Amen" after the sermon and thanked him for attending. Like Mamdani, who has espoused several controversial political views, Green is no stranger to pushing his radical views on social media. In 2021, he called for a "new U.S. Constitution" on social media, saying the country needs a document that "guarantees the right to vote, abolishes the electoral college, provides reparations for slavery, guarantees annual income, and so much more."In a 2022 Facebook post, Green, who calls himself a "global thought leader at the intersection of faith and social justice" and an "activist," called on President Joe Biden to establish a commission on reparations because the "impact of slavery and its vestiges are felt in every aspect of life for Black people.""I was proud to be arrested at the DC Airport with my comrades to protect voting rights, DC Statehood, and reparations," Green said in a 2021 Facebook post that included a video of him being arrested. "We must continue to escalate our actions across the nation in order to protect voting rights. This is our revolutionary summer. Hold on, we must keep our eyes on the prize.""Trumps executive order is still entrenched in White Supremacist nationalism," Green posted on Facebook in June 2018. "We can not ease up on our pressure to abolish ICE and open our borders."In another Facebook post that year, Green insisted on "abolish[ing] the system of policing in this nation" and amplified a separate post accusing the system of policing in the United States as being anti-Black.One month after the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel, Greenparticipated in a rally calling for a ceasefire. Pastor Jamal Bryant, who Fox News Digitalpreviously reportedhas a long history of praising notorious antisemite Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, was one of the leaders at the rally.Bryant is the leading voice behind the recent boycott of Target. Liberal activists urged the public not to shop at the retailer in response to the company's rollback of DEI guidelines.Green also led another rally the following February that was promoted as a "peace pilgrammage" for Gaza, saying, "We walked 150 miles to push the Biden administration to demand a ceasefire to protect the lives of all precious Palestinians and to pursue the beloved community.""The Black prophetic tradition calls me to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God as we speak out against genocide, occupation and war," he continued, appearing to take a shot against Israel.TIMELINE: EVOLUTION OF MAMDANI'S DEFUNDING POLICE RHETORIC TO THIS WEEK'S 'DAMAGE CONTROL'In recent weeks, Mamdani has faced an onslaught of attacks as old interviews and past social media posts were unearthed, including several from 2020 and 2021 calling for defunding police."We need a socialist city council to defund the police," Mamdani posted on X in July 2020."Queer liberation means defund the police," Mamdaniposted on X in November 2020."Nature is healing," Mandaniposted on X in response to a user mocking and laughing at seeing a police officer "crying inside his car."However, last week, in the wake of a Midtown Manhattan shooting that left a NYPD officer dead, Mamdani said his calls to defund the police were made out of "frustration" over George Floyds death and appeared to distance himself from his past rhetoric. His comments left several in the community unconvinced that he had genuinely turned the page from antagonizing the police, believing the walkback was politically driven as the city reels from the worst mass shooting in half a century.Fox News Digital reached out to the Mamdani campaign and Green for comment.

President Donald Trump appeared on the roof of the White House on Monday, indicating to the press that he was reviewing potential renovations for the presidential residence.Trump specifically appeared above the West Wing and the press briefing room, with reporters crowded on the White House lawn to see him. There was also heavy security during the appearance due to the president's exposure.Trump spoke with several people while on the roof, though the White House has not identified them or said what they discussed. The appearance comes just days after Trump announced that he and private donors will fund an estimated $200 million cost of a new ballroom at the White House.TRUMP CONFIRMS 2 NUCLEAR SUBMARINES ARE 'IN THE REGION' TO COUNTER RUSSIAWhite House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Thursday during a briefing that the construction is scheduled to begin in September and will be "completed long before the end of President Trumps term."TRUMP INSTALLS MASSIVE NEW US FLAGS AT THE WHITE HOUSE AND THEY DON'T COST TAXPAYERS A PENNYTrump similarly financed the installation of two 88-foot American flags flanking the White House earlier this year, each reportedly costing around $50,000."The White House is currently unable to host major functions honoring world leaders in other countries without having to install a large and unsightly tent approximately 100 yards away from the main building's entrance," Leavitt said, adding the new ballroom will be "a much-needed and exquisite addition."She said the United States Secret Service will provide the necessary security enhancements and modifications during the construction. The project is intended to provide a dedicated space for hosting official events, state dinners and large ceremonial gatherings. The planned 90,000-square-foot addition will accommodate approximately 650 seated guests and will stay true to the classical design of the White House.Fox Business' Amanda Macias contributed to this report

Red Sox announcer hits at Astros for 'being mad about stealing signs' after benches clear
The benches cleared between the Houston Astros and Boston Red Sox over the weekend, and it all stemmed from what appeared to be paranoia about sign-stealing.Astros reliever Hector Neris purposely balked to advance a runner to third, then had an exchange with Red Sox third base coach Kyle Hudson that led to a dustup between the teams. As Neris made his way off the mound, he had words with Hudson and yelled toward the Red Sox dugout, causing both teams, including bullpens, to come on the field before order was quickly restored.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMAsked if he believed the Red Sox were stealing signs, Neris responded: "Maybe. Maybe yes, maybe no."Well, former Red Sox player-turned-announcer Will Middlebrooks thought that was a bit ironic."Imagine the Astros being mad about stealing signs," the former infielder said. The Astros, of course, were the architects of perhaps the biggest sign-stealing scandal in the history of baseball, where they would bang trash cans to signify what pitch was coming. It helped them to a World Series in 2017, and there have always been rumors and speculation about further digressions. It is illegal to use technology to steal signs."But guess what, thats part of the game, when you can see the grip in a glove," Midddlebrooks added.NFL'S, MLB'S GIANTS POKE FUN AT INFAMOUS MIKE FRANCESA RADIO SHOW PHONE CALL WITH 'ANNUAL MEETING'Ironically, the Red Sox themselves were accused of stealing signs in 2018, a year they won the Fall Classic, but it was revealed that the incidents were "far more limited in scope and impact" than the Astros' the previous year, and most of the clubhouse wasn't even aware of the wrongdoings.Alex Cora was the Astros bench coach in 2017 before becoming the Sox manager ahead of the 2018 season. He was suspended for the 2020 season due to his role in the Astros' scandal but returned the following season. The Red Sox won the game, 7-3.Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X,and subscribe tothe Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.
