WWW.FOXNEWS.COMBryan Kohberger's Idaho murder scene unveiled through detailed 3D replica after death penalty struckOfficials in Idaho released a 3D model of the house where Bryan Kohberger killed four University of Idaho students following his guilty plea.Kohberger pleaded guilty on July 2 to the murders of Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Kaylee Goncalves, in a deal which took the death penalty off the table. The four University of Idaho students were found dead on Nov. 13, 2022 at their house in Moscow, Idaho, located near campus. In exchange for the death penalty being taken off the table, Kohberger will serve four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole for the four counts of first degree murder and one count of felony burglary. The Latah County Prosecutors Office on Friday released images of a 3D model of 1122 King Road in Moscow, Idaho, where the murders took place.BRYAN KOHBERGER PLEADS GUILTY TO IDAHO MURDERSThe King Road house was torn down in December 2023, but prosecutors planned on using the 3D replica during the now-canceled murder trial.During a June hearing, Thompson described the 3D house as a "dollhouse," but later said that word was inappropriate and then referred to it as a "model house."Images released by the prosecutor's office show a 3D model version of 1122 King Road, showing the exterior and interior of the house. The model replica includes rooms inside the house, but isn't furnished.According to the Idaho Statesman, the model house was approved by Hippler for use during trial, despite objections from Kohberger's defense team. However, Hippler approved the model house only for demonstrative purposes, so it couldn't be used as evidence.IDAHO MURDERS TIMELINE: BRYAN KOHBERGER PLEA CAPS YEARSLONG QUEST FOR JUSTICEFollowing Kohberger's sentencing on July 23, Judge Steven Hippler lifted the gag order previously imposed on anyone involved with the quadruple murder case, which allowed for the release of investigative documents.Police documents released after Hippler released the gag order revealed that Goncalves and Mogen were both found together side by side. The police report said both women were "covered by a pink blanket which was covered in blood.""It was obvious an intense struggled had occurred," police wrote in another report, describing the crime scene.Authorities noted that they saw "what appeared to be defensive knife wounds on Xana's hands," adding that a tan leather knife sheath was also found.Fox News Digital's Sarah Rumpf-Whitten and Michael Ruiz contributed to this report.0 التعليقات 0 المشاركات 12 مشاهدة 0 معاينة

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMTrump confirms 2 nuclear submarines are 'in the region' to counter RussiaPresident Donald Trump told reporters on Sunday that nuclear submarines he ordered to counter Russia are now "in the region" ahead of U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoffs visit. Before boarding Air Force One in Allentown, Pa., to return to Washington, D.C., Trump was asked if the nuclear submarines had already been deployed to "face Russia." Trump said on TRUTH Social on Friday that he ordered two nuclear submarines "to be positioned in the appropriate regions" in response to what he considered "highly provocative statements" from former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev about potential war with the U.S."I've already put out a statement and the answer is they are in the region, yeah, where they have to be," Trump told reporters at Lehigh Valley International Airport on Sunday.Trump said that Witkoff is expected to travel to Russia on "Wednesday or Thursday." Russian state media reported Monday that Witkoff would arrive on Wednesday. The visit comes ahead of the Friday deadline Trump set for Russian President Vladimir Putin to reach a ceasefire agreement with Ukraine or face additional sanctions and tariffs. Trump also has warned about potential secondary tariffs for the purchasers of Russian energy.TRUMP BRUSHES BACK RUSSIA'S MEDVEDEV AFTER 'WAR' WARNING: 'WATCH HIS WORDS'"Well, there'll be sanctions, but they seem to be pretty good at avoiding sanctions. You know, they're wily characters, and they're pretty good at avoiding sanctions," Trump told reporters in front of Marine One. "So we'll see what happens."Asked about Witkoffs message to Moscow and if theres anything the Russians can do to avoid sanctions, Trump said Sunday, "Yeah, get a deal where people stop getting killed.""A tremendous number of Russian soldiers have been killed. And likewise Ukraine, a lower number, but still thousands and thousands of people. And now we're adding towns where they're being hit by missiles. So it's a lot of people being killed in that ridiculous war," Trump said. "We stopped a lot of countries from war, India and Pakistan, we stopped a lot of countries. And we're going to get that one stopped too. Somehow. We're going to get that one stopped. That's a really horrible war.""This should be the easiest to stop, and its not," Trump added. Before ordering the deployment of nuclear submarines last week, Trump had warned Medvedev, the deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, to "watch his words." Medvedev had complained that Trump had shortened the Russia-Ukraine ceasefire deadline from 50 days to just 10 to 12 days, saying that the "ultimatum" was threat toward war "not between Russia and Ukraine, but with his own country."Despite Trump cautioning that Medvedev was entering "dangerous territory," the Russian official doubled down and referenced Russias "Dead Hand" the Cold War-era automated nuclear retaliation system developed by the Soviet Union. The U.S. and Russia hold the largest nuclear arsenals in the world.Top Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reportedly downplayed the U.S. deployment of nuclear submarines Monday. He told reporters that "American submarines are already on combat duty thats a constant process" and the Russians "dont believe this is a case of any sort of escalation," according to the Russian-language news website Meduza.Asked about Medvedev's remarks, Peskov said members of the leadership in any country have different views but stressed Putin definitively decides Russian foreign policy."We approach any statements related to nuclear issues with great caution," Peskov added at the press conference, according to The Moscow Times. "Russia is firmly committed to nuclear non-proliferation, and we believe that all parties should exercise the utmost restraint when it comes to nuclear rhetoric."TRUMP ANNOUNCES 25% TARIFF ON INDIA, SLAMMING 'OBNOXIOUS' TRADE BARRIERS, RUSSIA MILITARY AND ENERGY BUYSMeanwhile, Beijing and Moscow have deepened their ties in recent years, with China providing an economic lifeline to Russia in the face of Western sanctions over the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.Russia and China have started mock combat drills and other war games in the Sea of Japan, The Telegraph reported. Citing a statement from the Chinese Defense Ministry, the newspaper said the three-day exercise involves four Chinese vessels, including the guided-missile destroyers Shaoxing and Urumqi, and entails "submarine rescue, joint anti-submarine, air defense and anti-missile operations, and maritime combat," as well as naval patrols in "relevant waters of the Pacific."At a press conference announcing details of the annual drills last week, Chinese Defense Ministry spokesperson Zhang Xiaogang said the Joint Sea 2025 exercise would be held in the air and seas near the Russian port city of Vladivostok, positioned across the sea from Japan's west coast. Last year, the drill was held off southern China in the South China Sea."This is an arrangement within the annual cooperation plan between the Chinese and Russian militaries. It is not targeted at any third party, nor is it related to the current international and regional situation," Zhang said.China and Russia also signed a "no-limits" economic partnership shortly after the war in Ukraine began.Zhang criticized ongoing drills that the U.S. Air Force is conducting with Japan and other partners in the western Pacific. Resolute Force Pacific is the largest contingency-response exercise ever conducted by the Air Force in the region, according to the U.S. military. The U.S. Air Force has said their exercise will train its forces to maintain readiness and execute missions under stress to demonstrate their ability to defend the United States and partner nations in the Pacific."The U.S. has been blindly flexing muscles in the Asia-Pacific region and attempting to use military drills as a pretext to gang up, intimidate and pressure other countries, and undermine peace and stability in the region," Zhang told reporters.Japan's Defense Ministry said in an annual report earlier this month that Chinas growing military cooperation with Russia poses serious security concerns. The Associated Press contributed to this report.0 التعليقات 0 المشاركات 12 مشاهدة 0 معاينة

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMBoy, 13, who lost leg in shark attack shares miraculous story of survival: The Lord gave me the strengthThree years after a 10-year-old boy endured a vicious shark attack that took his right leg below the knee, the now-teen is sharing his story of the life-altering encounter and miraculous series of events that culminated in his survival.Jameson Reeder Jr., now 13 years old, and his father, Jameson Reeder Sr., told Fox News Digital that they were nine miles offshore in the crystal-clear waters of Looe Key Reef in the Florida Keys with Jamesons mother and three siblings in August 2022 when he took a GoPro camera underwater to see if he could spot turtles and other marine life.Jameson Sr. said he was just resurfacing from the seabed to tell Jameson Jr.s younger brother, Nehemiah, what he saw "when I heard the screaming.""Once we get Jameson on to the boat, that's when we see the unbelievable damage and know he has just been viciously attacked by a massive shark," Jameson Sr. said. "And we have not seen the shark. Iit snuck up it was hunting essentially and came out of nowhere."SHARK BITES BEACH FISHERMAN WHO DRAGGED THRASHING PREDATOR BACK TO WATER AFTER CATCHJameson Jr. recalled the moment of the fateful encounter with a bull shark at least 8 feet long just after he spotted a sea turtle underwater."Once it attacked me, I didn't think of anything else except what the heck is attacking me," the 13-year-old said. "It jerks my head back while it's shaking me, and I see that it was a shark, and so I jerked my head back into place and I started screaming for help."Jameson Sr. and his wife, Mary Catherine Reeder, wrote about the horrific experience and the familys journey of healing in a new book titled "Rescue at the Reef: The Miraculous True Story of a Little Boy with Big Faith."Jameson Sr. recalled screaming "in absolute horror" as he held his bleeding son, thinking these could be his final moments."Jameson's leg below the knee was essentially gone," the father said. "All that was there was the tibia bone, the main bone, and it had sharp teeth marks all over it.The fibula, the outer, smaller bone, was gone. All the flesh, all the muscle, everything, and then just attached at the bottom of the tibia bone was his foot. Below the knee to the foot, nothing."A series of events soon unfolded that the father said were nothing short of miraculous.A boat nearest to the Reeders boat happened to be the fastest vessel on the reef and offered to race Jameson to shore, and a nurse suddenly appeared from the water, jumping aboard with a dry medical bag to help the injured boy."You dont expect to meet a nurse in the middle of the ocean," Jameson Sr. said.FLORIDA SHARK ATTACKS SURFER, LATCHED ON LIKE A BEAR TRAP IN WORLDS BITE CAPITALHowever, the biggest miracle of them all, Jameson Sr. said, was his sons belief that "Jesus will save me."Jameson Jr. said he saw "a man on fire" as he tried to stay awake during the ride to shore, and when the fire cleared "it was actually Jesus.""And I just looked at him, and he looked at me. He didn't say anything, but he just gave me the sense of peace," Jameson Jr. said, adding that he was then able to sing, "Here I am to Worship," all the way to shore to keep himself awake.Jameson Jr. then spent three weeks in the hospital, where he underwent four surgeries. He will still need additional surgery on his leg as he continues to grow.Despite this, the 13-year-old has yet to let the injury stop him from having fun."I surf, I play baseball, and sometimes I do a little bit of rock climbing and school," he said. "I play electric guitar and I sing."The boy has also returned to the site of the life-changing shark encounter to face his fears."The Lord gave me the strength to go back to the reef," he said, adding that he had a great time swimming with his friends and family.Jameson Jr. also has a newfound love of sharks, with the image of one of the predators on his prosthetic leg. He also says that he wants to go shark diving one day without a cage. The Reeder family said they expect to return to the reef again later this month on the anniversary of the shark attack.0 التعليقات 0 المشاركات 12 مشاهدة 0 معاينة

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMTrump's full-court press against 'Orwellian' European censorship intensifies amid US efforts to unleash AIThe Trump administration has been on a monthslong campaign railing against what it says are draconian censorship regulations in Europe that have not only stifled free speech, but have also served as another roadblock amid the artificial intelligence evolution."In Europe, thousands are being convicted for the crime of criticizing their own governments," the State Department recently posted to X, accompanied by a graphic slamming Europe's Digital Services Act (DSA). "This Orwellian message won't fool the United States. Censorship is not freedom."The EU adopted the DSA in 2022 to regulate online platforms such as social networks, content-sharing platforms and app stores, and is intended to "prevent illegal and harmful activities online and the spread of disinformation." The law has since faced opposition from the Trump administration amid its free speech promotion on the global stage. The State Department's X post follows a monthslong campaign of Trump officials lambasting Europe for its strict rules that limit free speech most notably online and in the world of AI and evolving tech. Fox News Digital spoke with Darren Beattie, acting under secretary of state for public diplomacy and public affairs, who explained that as the Trump administration takes a hatchet to restrictions and censorship most notably online and left over from the Biden era Europe has moved to intensify its censorship with laws such as DSA.DETAILS OF TRUMP'S HIGHLY ANTICIPATED AI PLAN REVEALED BY WHITE HOUSE AHEAD OF MAJOR SPEECH"As we are rolling back the censorship industry in the United States by actions like what the State Department did, what we did at the State Department killing the (Global Engagement Center), but it's happening all across the administration," he said. "What's happening is Europe, the European Union and the UK are moving to pick up the slack. That is to say, as we're pushing back the censorship regime domestically, it's intensifying in Europe."The Global Engagement Center was an office established within the State Department during the Obama era that was plagued by accusations of censorship while positioning itself as focused on countering foreign propaganda and disinformation. The Trump administration State Department shuttered the office earlier in 2025.Beattie added that the U.S. is not taking a "holier than thou" approach to the issue, noting that censorship loomed large throughout the U.S. under the Biden administration. He pointed to cases such as social media user Douglass Mackey, who was convicted in 2023 of conspiring to suppress voter turnout in 2016 after posting phony voting messages."We were, under Biden, moving in that direction in a very dangerous way," he said. "The weaponization of government that occurred under Biden was severe."President Donald Trump delivered his highly anticipated AI speech at the end of July, unveiling his administration's plan of action, which included protecting AI systems from bias. The White House Office of Science and Technology policy director Michael Kratsios previewed the plan to the media, which included warning that the U.S. will not go down the same technology path as Europe, citing its strict regulations on the tech."The action plan calls for freeing American AI innovation from unnecessary bureaucratic red tape, ensuring all Americans reap the benefits of AI technologies and leveraging AI to drive new scientific breakthroughs," he said."On deregulation, we cannot afford to go down Europe's innovation-killing regulatory path. Federal agencies will now review their rules on the books and repeal those that hinder AI development and deployment across industries, from financial services and agriculture to health and transportation."The AI plan is focused on three pillars, one of which is centered on ensuring bias is not included in U.S. systems."The second is that we believe that AI systems should be free of ideological bias and not be designed to pursue socially engineered agendas," AI and crypto czar David Sacks said in a press call July 23. "And so we have a number of proposals there on how to make sure that AI remains truth-seeking and trustworthy."Vice President JD Vance has been at the forefront of admin leaders lambasting Europe's restrictions on AI and free speech, including the EU's Digital Services Act.FEDERAL AI POWER GRAB COULD END STATE PROTECTIONS FOR KIDS AND WORKERS"The U.S. innovators of all sizes already know what it's like to deal with onerous international rules," Vance said at the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit in Paris in February. "Many of our most productive tech companies are forced to deal with the EU's Digital Services Act and the massive regulations it created about taking down content and policing so-called misinformation.""The AI future is not going to be won by hand-wringing about safety. It will be won by building from reliable power plants to the manufacturing facilities that can produce the chips of the future," he added.Vance traveled to the Munich Security Conference days after his Paris address and delivered another fiery speech chastising Europe for employing "Soviet-style" tactics that chill free speech.JONATHAN TURLEY: DEMOCRATS, CLINTONS AND GLOBALISTS WORK TOGETHER TO CENSOR AMERICANS FOR DEMOCRACY"To many of us on the other side of the Atlantic, it looks more and more like old, entrenched interests hiding behind ugly Soviet-era words like misinformation and disinformation, simply because they don't like the idea that someone with an alternative viewpoint might express a different opinion, vote a different way, or even worse, win an election," he said in the address. The speech set off criticisms in Europe and the U.S., including CBS host Margaret Brennan suggesting during an interview with Secretary of State Marco Rubio on "Face the Nation" in February that free speech had been "weaponized" to bring about the Holocaust in Nazi Germany.Rubio launched a fierce defense of Vance while noting his concern that Europe hold the same values as the U.S., such as protecting free speech and democracy.TRUMP PRAISED BY FAITH LEADERS FOR AI LEADERSHIP AS THEY WARN OF TECHNOLOGY'S 'POTENTIAL PERIL'"Why would our allies or anybody be irritated by free speech and by someone giving their opinion? We are, after all, democracies," Rubio said. "The Munich Security Conference is largely a conference of democracies in which one of the things that we cherish and value is the ability to speak freely and provide your opinions. And so, I think if anyone's angry about his words, they don't have to agree with him, but to be angry about it, I think actually makes his point.""I think the valid points hes making to Europe is: We are concerned that the true values that we share, the values that bind us together with Europe, are things like free speech and democracy and our shared history in winning two world wars," Rubio added of Vance's speech.Federal Communication Commission chief Brendan Carr in March said the DSA's monitoring of online content is incompatible with U.S. free speech."There's a risk that (EU) regulatory regime imposes excessive rules with respect to free speech," he told the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in March. "The censorship that is potentially coming down the pipe from the [Digital Services Act] is something that is incompatible with... our free speech tradition."The White House laid out at the end of July that among its top efforts while unleashing artificial intelligence which it said will usher in the next "industrial revolution" would be focusing on preserving free speech while also encouraging tech innovation through regulation cuts. The White House said it would update its "Federal procurement guidelines to ensure that the government only contracts with frontier large language model developers who ensure that their systems are objective and free from top-down ideological bias," as well as remove "onerous Federal regulations that hinder AI development and deployment, and seek private sector input on rules to remove."Trump signed a trio of executive orders aimed at implementing his AI agenda, including one that bars the federal government from procuring artificial intelligence built with "woke" ideology."I will be signing an order banning the federal government from procuring AI technology that has been infused with partisan bias or ideological agendas, such as critical race theory, which is ridiculous. And from now on, the U.S. government will deal only with AI that pursues truth, fairness and strict impartiality," he said."We're not going to go through the craziness that we've gone through for the last four years. Now it's not hanging around at all now. It's actually very uncool, as somebody told me the other day, It's so uncool to be woke." he added.Fox News Digital reached out to the EU's press team for comment on the Trump administration's ongoing crusade against European censorship, but did not immediately receive a reply.0 التعليقات 0 المشاركات 29 مشاهدة 0 معاينة

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMPope Leo XIV inspires over a million young Catholics at Rome faith gatheringRome became the epicenter of a global faith movement over the weekend, as more than 1 million young Catholics answered Pope Leo XIVs call for faith and service."My young brothers and sisters, you are the sign that a different world is possible," the pontiff told the Jubilee of Youth crowd in Tor Vergata, encouraging the sea of young faithful to embrace dialogue over division.Father Michael Tidd, headmaster at the Delbarton School in Morristown, New Jersey, told Fox News Monday that Pope Leos message deeply resonated with the audience.POPE LEO XIV VOWS TO WORK FOR UNITY, PEACE DURING INAUGURAL MASS"I think what Pope Leo says that resonates so well is that he's not afraid to ask hard questions and to challenge young people to live their faith more deeply, more authentically, to go beyond themselves and not just worry about their own concerns, but seek the good of their brothers and sisters," he told "Fox & Friends."POPE LEO DELIVERS FIRST 'REGINA CAELI' PRAYERS FROM ST. PETER'S BALCONYAccording to Tidd, the pope's ability to connect stems from a natural "ease," a way of communicating that is neither overbearing nor condescending.Rather than lecturing the young Christians, he speaks to them personally, with a touch of warmth and wisdom."He has an ability to engage readily, and you see that in his smaller audiences and the audiences at St. Peter's Square and certainly even here, his ability to catch their attention and to have them listen to him, not as someone who's admonishing them or chastising them, but someone who is encouraging, almost like a coach," Tidd observed."[He's] encouraging them, motivating them to seek a deeper relationship with Christ, and also to bring the fruits of that relationship to their relationships with their brothers and sisters."The pope presided over a prayer vigil Saturday evening on the outskirts of Rome where he answered questions from young pilgrims, followed by a Sunday mass.0 التعليقات 0 المشاركات 14 مشاهدة 0 معاينة

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMCornyn takes swing at James, Schiff with new LETITIA Act targeting 'crooked politicians'FIRST ON FOX: A Senate Republican wants to crack down on public officials who use their position to grow their wealth.Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, is set to introduce legislation that would create stiffer penalties for public officials who commit federal bank fraud, tax fraud, or loan or mortgage fraud. Cornyns bill comes on the heels of two such instances where top officials and lawmakers were hit with allegations of mortgage fraud.FEDERAL HOUSING OFFICIAL SUBMITTED SCHIFF CRIMINAL REFERRAL TO DOJ OVER MORTGAGE DOCUMENTSIndeed, Cornyns Law Enforcement Tools to Interdict Troubling Investments in Abodes (LETITIA) Act is named for New York Attorney General Letitia James. The Justice Department earlier this year opened an investigation into James, who successfully won a civil case last year against President Donald Trump and his Trump Organization over allegations of faulty business practices, for alleged mortgage fraud.DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE OPENS CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION INTO NY AG LETITIA JAMESFederal Housing Finance Director Bill Pulte alleged in a letter that James could have engaged in mortgage fraud by making false or misleading statements on property records, like a loan application that said her property in Virginia is her primary residence, a building record stating her multifamily Brooklyn property incorrectly has five residences instead of four, and a mortgage application that falsely stated James was her fathers spouse."This legislation would empower President Trump to hold crooked politicians like New Yorks Letitia James accountable for defrauding their constituents, violating their oath of office, and breaking the law, and Im proud to lead my Republican colleagues in introducing it," Cornyn said in a statement.TAXPAYERS COULD BE FORCED TO FUND TRUMP FOE LETITIA JAMES LEGAL DEFENSE IF DEM BUDGET ITEM PASSESCornyns bill also comes after his colleague Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., was similarly hit with allegations of mortgage fraud. In another letter to the Justice Department, Pulte charged that Schiff falsified bank documents and property records by listing homes in Maryland and California as his primary residence out of an effort to allegedly get more favorable loans. The bill, which is so far co-sponsored by six Senate Republicans, would increase federal statutory maximum sentences and fines for public officials who abuse their offices and violate the public trust to commit bank fraud, loan or mortgage fraud, or tax fraud.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPIt would create new mandatory minimum sentences, including one year for bank fraud, one year for loan or mortgage fraud, and six months for tax fraud. And if a public official engages in a repeated pattern of offenses, minimum sentences increase to five years for bank or loan fraud and two years for tax fraud.Fox News Digital reached out to James and Schiff for comment but did not immediately hear back.0 التعليقات 0 المشاركات 14 مشاهدة 0 معاينة

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMSen. Cory Booker refuses to endorse Zohran MamdaniSen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., refused to endorse New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani on Sunday when pressed by CNN host Manu Raju."Im wondering if part of the issue with your party, do you think, is not embracing enough of the energy on the left flank of your party?" Raju said, pointing to Mamdani. "Hes the Democratic candidate, democratic socialist candidate there. Democratic leaders are not supporting him. Is that a problem? Do you support him?"Mamdani, a self-proclaimed democratic socialist, defeated former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the mayoral primary."So you and I are going to have this conversation, and I'm going to say to you one day, I told you so," Booker responded. "This is not a left-right issue. It really isnt. It is an authoritarian, versus people who want pragmatic government that makes a difference in the lives of the American people. Im one of these people that says the lines that divide us in America are not nearly as strong as the ties that bind us."AOC-BACKED SOCIALIST MAYORAL CANDIDATE BACKTRACKS AFTER CALLING TO 'DISMANTLE' POLICE IN 2020"Big corporations, people want to keep our eyes on the screen, want to pit us against each other and tell us how much we should hate each other," he continued. "Im sorry, the left-right lens is not the right lens to look at this right now. Right now it is, can we get back to the pragmatic work of governing?"Raju asked the liberal senator again if he supported Mamdani."I have learned a long time ago, let New York politics be New York politics. We got enough challenges in Jersey. I got a governors race, I'm supporting Mikie Sherrill. I got legislative races. Thats where my energy is going to go, going into November. New York City, I love you. You're my neighbor. You're about 10 miles from where I live. You guys figure out your elections. I'm going to focus on mine," Booker said.Other prominent Democrats have also side-stepped or dodged questions about endorsing Mamdani, including Gov.
