Bengals' Joe Burrow opens up about home burglary, reveals he put major purchase on hold after ordeal
Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Burrow opened up about the burglary at his Ohio home that took place as he was competing against the Dallas Cowboys in Texas in December.Burrow was one of the three players featured in the second season of the Netflix docuseries "Quarterback." The show delved into the break-in that plagued Burrow for the rest of the 2024 season despite Cincinnati winning the final five games of the year.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM"Of f---ing course this happened to me right now," Burrow said. "When youre on cloud nine, somethings gonna bring you right back down. It just felt like the kind of year that it was.""I just get uncomfortable when, you know, my life is very public and, you know, it comes with the job, but theres certain parts of your life that are, like yours. Your house is one of those. When that gets violated, people find out where you live, all these different things. Not everybodys failures at their job are in front of the whole world. Its a very vulnerable position to be in. I put myself in that position because I love it. Um, I dont like the other part of it."Four Chilean nationals were arrested in the burglary, and authorities released a picture of them posing for a photo with the stolen accessories. The series showed Burrow having a conversation with then-defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo about the heist.EX-RAMS STAR JARED GOFF SAYS HE WAS BLINDSIDED BY TRADE TO LIONS: 'REAL TASTE OF TRUE ADVERSITY'"They got all my jewelry but they could have stolen way worse things than that," he said. "Im not going crazy about some jewelry. It was expensive, but it was all insured."The star quarterback said in the docuseries he needed to put one major purchase on hold."I didnt end up getting the Batmobile because I just had other things I wanted to deal with at that point," he said.Burrow lamented the media attention that came with the robbery, which also put his relationship with Olivia Ponton into the spotlight. The men, who police say were in the country illegally, had tools for break-ins at the time of their arrest, along with a Bengals hat and Louisiana State University shirt believed to be stolen from Burrow's home. The elements of the robbery were consistent with other burglaries recently carried out in varying parts of the U.S. by South American theft groups, the complaint stated. The document added that the groups have typically been comprised of South Americans who enter the country illegally or remain in the U.S. after their visa expires. The groups have targeted jewelry and designer accessories, per the complaint.Fox News Connor McGahan and Chantz Martin contributed to this report.Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Hawley touts provision in Big, Beautiful Bill that has even hard-left Democrats celebrating
Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., stood shoulder-to-shoulder with staunch Democrats to celebrate the inclusion of key compensation for survivors of nuclear testing inside President Donald Trump's Big, Beautiful Bill on Tuesday.Hawley has fought for the passage of the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) since the program was canceled in 2023. It has now been re-upped and greatly expanded thanks to persistent bipartisan advocacy.Among the cross-aisle attendees was former Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., who was among the most aggressive critics of Republicans while in Congress. Hawley embraced Bush at the event, however."Cori, thank you. We would not be here without you and your work," he said, recounting their multiple prior efforts to pass the legislation.POLITICAL FIGHT OVER BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL SHIFTS TO CAMPAIGN TRAILAlso at the event was Rep. Wesley Bell, D-Mo., who voted against the OBBB, but said he supports the RECA legislation. Navajo Nation president Buu Nygren also attended the event and recounted the impact of nuclear testing on his community. The bill applies to sites across the country where Americans, civilian, military and members of the Navajo Nation, were exposed to radiation due to nuclear weapons testing and the storing of nuclear waste. The event took place at one such site: St. Cin Park in St. Louis. The surrounding area has been determined to be a cancer hotzone thanks to the storing of nuclear waste nearby. The legislation applies to similar sites across Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky and Alaska, but advocates of the bill and Hawley himself say there remains more work to be done."This is a great first step, but there is definitely more to do," NAACP St. Louis president John Bowman told Fox at the event. "This is a good day, but there are better days to come."WHAT'S ACTUALLY IN TRUMP'S BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL'Bowman and others highlighted some zip codes that aren't eligible for the compensation, and they say work needs to be done to expand the documentation Americans can use to prove they qualify for compensation.Dawn Chapman, founder of Just Moms STL, an advocacy group devoted to the radiation exposure issue, told Fox that the process while difficult reinforced her belief in the legislative process. She recounted seeing staffers from opposite sides of the aisle celebrating and sharing high-fives after the bill was passed. The bill passed through the Senate three times in recent years before finally making it to the president's desk."The system still works. It does," she said. "The media just often doesn't share it."

Chicago mayor vows city police 'will not ever cooperate with ICE'
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson vowed Tuesday that his city "will not ever cooperate with I.C.E.""You know, again, its unconscionable at a time in which so many working people and poor people need government to show up for them, that this administration, the Trump administration, has caused so much consternation and division," Johnson said Tuesday during a press conference.Johnson was responding to a question about whether the city would "set up local police perimeters around schools to shield students from federal agents without warrants."HOUSE SPEAKER JOHNSON TOURS ICE FACILITY, SAYS CHICAGO MAYOR IS 'ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE LAW'"Look, we are welcoming city ordinance," Johnson said. "Our local police department will not ever cooperate with I.C.E., whatever their constitutional authority is. That is obviously relegated to the Trump administration. All of our sister agencies, city departments have been thoroughly briefed by a corporate counsel, and I'll pass it over to her in a second about what they can and cannot do."Johnson has been vocal about his criticism of I.C.E.Last month, he urged House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., to "speak up" regarding I.C.E.s immigration enforcementthat the mayor characterized as "terrorism,."Johnson has also said thatChicagoans should "rise up" against I.C.E.The City of Chicago has allowed inover 51,000 illegal immigrants from the southern border since August 31, 2022.ILLINOIS GOV. PRITZKER ACCUSED OF 'INSULTING' ICE WITH SANCTUARY POLICIES AS NOEM, ANGEL FAMILIES PROTESTLast week, Trump "border czar" Tom Homan discussed attacks on I.C.E. agents during an appearance on "The Will Cain Show" where he also criticized a new app called ICEBlock that is reportedly beingused to track ICE agents."Assault against I.C.E. is up over 500%," Homan said. "Now you've got an app that's going to tell where I.C.E. operations are going to. It's only a matter of time before ICE agents are ambushed by some nut, like what happened in L.A., throwing them out a cocktail, throwing bricks at these officers. This is just disgusting at every level."Fox News Digital reached out to I.C.E. and the White House for comment on Mayor Johnson's remarks and have yet to receive a response.

Zohran Mamdanis DSA sponsors protest with death, death to the IDF! war cry
WASHINGTON, D.C. Here on the corner of 16th Street NW and H Street NW, just steps from the White House, across Lafayette Park, a war cry rippled out among a swarm of demonstrators against Israels military, the Israel Defense Forces."Death, death to the IDF, the IDF, the IDF! Death, death to the IDF!" they chanted. They denounced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was meeting with President Donald Trump, as a possible ceasefire between Israel and Hamas loomed.ASRA NOMANI: IRANS IDEOLOGICAL FOOT SOLDIERS WAGE PROXY WAR IN AMERICALast week, British punk rapper Bobby Vylanshouted the incendiary slogan at the Glastonbury Festival, leading Secretary of State Marco Rubio to bar him from entering the U.S. Yet, his words have now crossed borders, absorbed into the militant propaganda of anti-Israel activists, including groups aligned with Hamas. The rallying cry has become the newest chant for a radical protest network spanning ideologies and continents. And despite demanding a ceasefire for months, their messaging on Monday night made one thing clear: they arent satisfied with a ceasefire. They want the end of the state of Israel.According to new analysis from the Pearl Project, anonprofit journalism initiative that is tracking the professional protest industry in a comprehensivepublic database, a coalition of 40 organizations with combined annual revenues of $19.2 million organized the "Noise Out" protests this week against Israel, with the call for "Death, death to the IDF."In this network, 25 organizations or about two of three are self-described socialist, Marxist, Leninist, communist, or socialist-adjacent. Another 15 groups or about one of three are Muslim or Arab organizations. Its an intersectional convergence of extremist ideologies Marxist, Islamist, and radical anti-Americanism masquerading as "social justice."As the crowd chanted against the IDF, local artist Rafikki Morris, a leader in the All-African People's Revolutionary Party which seeks to create an "all-African socialist government" turned toward the noise and smiled."Death, death to the IDF!" Morris responded to the protestors who started the chant. "Theyre reading my mind, you know." The crowd cheered.A protestor with his face covered in a black-and-white keffiyeh held a sign high -- "DEATH, DEATH TO THE IDF" punctuated with two inverted red triangles a symbol used byAl-Qassam Brigades,Hamas'smilitary wing, to identify Israeli military targets. (The sign added the words: "Jews for Intifada.")One man wore the Hamas red triangle on his shirt. Another carried a sign: "RESISTANCEISJUSTIFIED."Hours later, the Israeli military announced Hamas fighters killed at least six IDF soldiers in an ambush near the town of Beit Hanoun, in northern Gaza. The self-declared Marxist, socialist, or communist organizations involved in the protest include:The Muslim organizations involved in the protest include:The involvement of the Democratic Socialists of America is particularly important politically. With Mamdanis win as the Democratic candidate for mayor of New York City, the Democratic Socialists of America are poised to shape the political future of Americas largest city, as it aligns with a movement that supports Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, revolutionary Marxism and chants of "Death, death to the IDF."In front of Lafayette Park, Morris led chants of "Smash Zionism! Smash Zionism!" Earlier, a local leader of Jewish Voice for Peace a protest co-organizer also opposed to the existence of Israel explained that Zionism is simply the belief that Jews should have a homeland. "Im thinking maybe weve reached the point where we need to be doing something we wouldnt normally do," Morris added cryptically. The crowd interpreted it as a call for violence and cheered.A white-haired man in a "STOP THE GENOCIDE" T-shirt pushed back: "Violence doesnt work either!"Morris snapped: "We will not stand idly by as violence is perpetuated against us!"Nearby, demonstrators pounded pots and pans and hurled shoes at a large cutout of Netanyahu. "Oh my gosh, he deserves so much more," said a man who identified himself only as Mohammad, after spitting on the cardboard portrait.Another protester waved an oversized key a symbol of the networks demand for a"right of return," which would allow millions of Palestinians and their descendants worldwide to move into Israel. If implemented, this demand would drastically alter Israels demographic makeup. Today, about seven million Jews and two million Arab citizens live in Israel. But an estimated 15 million Palestinians worldwide, including those in Gaza and the West Bank, claim the right to return. Granting this would make Jews a minority and effectively erase Israels identity as a Jewish state a goal openly promoted by this protest movement.Underscoring this demand, the crowd chanted in Arabic, "Palestine is Arab! Palestine is Arab!"Behind the protest signs and slogans lies a broader political campaign powered by malign foreign influence propaganda, funding, and messaging rooted in authoritarian regimes and global networks that seek to destabilize America from within.U.S. lawmakers are nowinvestigating three of the protests organizing groups CodePink, the ANSWER Coalition, and the Party for Socialism and Liberation foralleged financial ties to American tech mogul Neville Roy Singham, profiled by the New York Times for funding a "global web of Chinese propaganda." CodePink, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with $1.2 million in annual revenues, denies receiving Chinese Communist Party money, but its cofounder, Medea Benjamin, refused to answer my questions about how much she allegedly receives from Singham.Earlier in the day, officials from the Council on American-Islamic Relations stood at Lafayette Park, shoulder-to-shoulder with CodePink and a wider coalition of anti-Israel Muslim organizations, demanding the U.S. end its support for Israel and furthering their claim of the nation for Palestinians.Online, their messaging is polished. On the streets, the mask comes off. One regular Palestinian American anti-Israel activist, Haitham Arafat, stormed at an international tourist inadvertently riding a scooter through the protest, shouting at her repeatedly: "Get the f out of here!" He didnt return a request for comment. The night before, at a precursor event to the main Monday night protest, a man, who refused to give his name, led the crowd in chants: "There is only one solution! Globalize the revolution!"He continued: "From D.C. to the Philippines, stop the U.S. war machine."As I reported on the protest, Michael Beer, director ofNon-Violence International, a D.C.-based501(c)(3) nonprofit with $3 million in annual revenues, blared his megaphone into my ears, while others shoved a Palestinian flag in my face and also shouted in my face.Meanwhile, the crowd chanted: "It is right to rebel! Israel, Israel, go to hell!"By Monday night, the full network was activated.Benjamin, the CodePink cofounder, appeared like a field marshal entering the fray petite, stringy blond hair, ballet flats. She hugged a journalist with a Pacifica Radio press pass, while her partner, Tighe Barry, posed in a Netanyahu mask and prison uniform.Collectively, these groups are not just agitating against Netanyahu. They are part of a long-term effort to mainstream Islamist political narratives in American discourse.Zuhdi Jasser, cofounder of theClarity Coalition, a group fighting political Islam, or Islamism, summarized the danger clearly: "What were seeing in these protests isnt just street theater its a warning. Zohran Mamdanis Democratic Socialists of America is part of a movement thats teaming up with radical mosques like Dar Al-Hijrah the same mosque where 9/11 hijackers prayed.""His Democratic Socialists of America are marching side-by-side with Islamists and communists who hate everything America stands for. This isnt about justice. Its about power."During the protest, comrades in the Party for Socialism and Liberation passed out flyers with the headlined, "WE NEED A NEW SYSTEM." Another friendly local comrade from the Progressive Labor Party handed out a write-up on its work with Democratic Party organizations in the recent #NoKings actions, protesting Trump. And she handed out copies of"Challenge," the "Revolutionary Communist Newspaper" of the party, with a call-to-action: "Join the International Fight for Communist Revolution."The radicalism of the Marxist ideology on the left is matched by on the Islamist flank.Among the most concerning participants is Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center, widely known in counterterrorism circles as the "9/11 mosque," practicing an interpretation of Islam aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood, a political organization that seeks to establish a global caliphate. One imam, Shaker Elsayed, evenpublicly supported female genital mutilation. When I asked Benjamin about the mosque leaders position on female genital mutilation, she paused and said: "I dont know anything about this." It was widely covered by the media. When I asked her about how much the tech millionaire Singham gives CodePink, she refused to answer, saying, "Can we talk about genocide, which is what were here to talk about?"In 2001, 9/11 hijackers prayed at Dar Al-Hijrah before launching their attacks on America, and a young imam, or prayer leader, Anwar al-Awlakipreached there, before decamping to Yemen and becoming a top propagandist and recruiter for al-Qaeda. His sermons radicalized a generation of extremists, some of whom later joined the Islamic State.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONThe contradictions within this network are startling.A protest leader,Red Canary Song, describes itself as a grassroots collective of Asian and migrant sex workers, advocating for the full decriminalization of "sex workers." Since 2021, Iranian-American eBay founder Pierre Omidyar and his wife Pam havefunneled at least $400,000 to the group through Democracy Fund Inc. Red Canary Song is allied on the same protest flier as Muslim American Society and Dar Al-Hijrah, whose leaders preach strict religious codes for women. After last years protests, Netanyauquipped in an address to the U.S. Congress: "Some of these protesters hold up signs proclaiming 'Gays for Gaza. They might as well hold up signs saying 'Chickens for KFC."That day, the protests in D.C. against Netanyahuended with vandalism at the Columbus Memorial at Union Station, where a leader from American Muslims for Palestine painted "HAMAS IS COMIN" in blood-red letters. A member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation stole an American flag from the flagpole and burned it to ashes. The FBI arrested both men last year for destruction of property. Both are now free, able to circulate again in protests like the one this week in front of the White House, where the new war cry echoed on a loudspeaker, as demonstrators twirled in dance: "Death, death to the IDF."

White House waives executive privilege for Biden doctor Kevin O'Connor in cover-up probe
FIRST ON FOX: The White House is waiving executive privilege for a key member of former President Joe Biden's inner circle, Fox News Digital has learned.Former White House physician Kevin O'Connor was set to testify this week in House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer's probe into allegations that Biden's senior aides covered up his mental and physical decline while president."In light of the unique and extraordinaty nature of the matters under investigation, President Trump has determined that an assertion of executive privilege is not in the national interest, and therefore is not justified, with respect to particular subjects within the purview of the House Oversight Committee," a letter to O'Connor sent by the White House, obtained by Fox News Digital by a source familiar, said."These subjects include your assessment of former President Bidens fitness for the office of the president and your financial relationship with the Biden family."Fox News Digital reached out to O'Connor's lawyers for comment.Comer subpoenaed O'Connor last week after the physician refused to appear voluntarily for a transcribed interview with House investigators.O'Connor's lawyers petitioned for a delay over the weekend, however, calling the scope of the probe "unprecedented.""We are unaware of any prior occasion on which a Congressional Committee has subpoenaed a physician to testify about the treatment of an individual patient," O'Connor's legal team wrote. "And the notion that a Congressional Committee would do so without any regard whatsoever for the confidentiality of the physician-patient relationship is alarming."A House Oversight Committee spokeswoman called their letter a "delay tactic to stonewall the Oversight Committee's investigation."The Tuesday letter from the White House counsel's office read, "The extraordinary events in this matter constitute exceptional circumstances warranting an accommodation to Congress. Evidence that aides to former President Biden concealed information regarding his fitness to exercise the powers of the President and may have unconstitutionally exercised those powers themselves to aid in their concealment implicates both Congress constitutional and legislative powers.""After balancing the Legislative and Executive Branch interests, as required under the accommodation process, it is the Presidents view that this presents and exceptional situation in which the congressional need for information outweighs the Executive Branchs interest in maintaining confidentiality, especially given the Executive Branchs own interest in determining the validity of prior executive actions," the letter said.

Patriotic ICE officer replaces American flag after protesters burned existing banner at Portland facility
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced on Tuesday that a federal officer raised a new American flag after protesters burned the previous one at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)'s facility in Portland, Oregon on the Fourth of July."On Independence Day, violent rioters targeted ICEs facility in the South Portland area," DHS wrote in a statement to Fox News. "They assaulted law enforcement, vandalized federal property, and burned an American flag."Officials said the rioters cut internet cables to the federal facility, broke the sprinkler system and threw rocks and fireworks at law enforcement officers.SUSPECTED ICE FACILITY ATTACKERS ARRESTED IN BLUE CITY, CHARGED WITH ASSAULTING FEDERAL OFFICERSAmid the violence, rioters burned an American flag.Officials said an ICE officer later patriotically raised a new flag in its place."This is the type of unwavering patriotism and love of America that our law enforcement officers display on the job day-in and day-out," according to the statement.MULTIPLE ARRESTS AFTER VIOLENT MOB ATTACKS PORTLAND ICE FACILITY WITH FIREWORKS AND KNIVESInstead of being thanked for their heroic work, DHS said its agents are facing a nearly 700% increase in assaults against them. "Threats or acts of violence against law enforcement will NOT be tolerated," according to the statement. "Secretary [Kristi] Noem has made it clear: If you threaten or attempt to harm a law enforcement officer, we will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of thelaw."OFFICERS INJURED AS PORTLAND RIOTERS BREACH ICE BUILDING WITH EXPLOSIVES AND ROCKSBorder Czar Tom Homan, on Fox News' "Kudlow" Tuesday night, vowed to "double down and triple down" on sanctuary cities that are obstructing ICE operations, specifically mentioning Portland."We're going to do the job," Homan said. "We're going to do it in Portland too. But for the mayors of New York City and Chicago, President [Donald] Trump made it clear two weeks ago, we are going to double down and triple down the sanctuary cities. If we can't arrest that bad guy in the jail, then we'll go to the community and we'll find him. Or we'll do more worksite enforcement."He added that when additional searches happen, agents will find other illegal immigrants who "aren't a criminal target, but they're in the country illegally," and "we're gonna arrest them too."CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPHoman clarified the administration is not targeting sanctuary cities "because they're blue," but because they pose a risk to public safety."We agree with all the sheriffs in Florida," he said. "They're taking our detainers. They're not releasing illegal alien public safety threats. They're calling us, so we can send less resources in Florida and send them to New York, Chicago, Portland and L.A."
