WWW.FOXNEWS.COMAnti-ICE rioters may face domestic terrorism federal charges as Trump admin sends stern message: ret FBI agentAs the anti-ICE riots and unrest continue in Los Angeles and across many major U.S. cities, a retired FBI agent says serious charges could be coming against those who are wreaking havoc."Federal authorities may describe violent actions during protests as domestic terrorism if there is evidence the individuals intended to intimidate the public or influence government decisions through force," Jason Pack, a retired FBI special agent, told Fox News Digital."While federal law defines domestic terrorism, there isno specific criminal charge by that name," Pack explained.A spokesperson for the Department of Justice told Fox News Digital that "nothing is off the table" at this point.TOM COTTON PUSHES NEW CRACKDOWN ON PRO-IMMIGRATION RIOTERS IN LOS ANGELES, CITING ICE ASSAULTSPack added that prosecutors would "typically use existing laws to file charges such as arson, assault on federal officers, destruction of property, or conspiracy.""Importantly, peaceful protesters who exercise their First Amendment rights without violence are not subject to terrorism investigations or charges. The term is only applied when criminal acts cross the line into ideologically driven violence," Pack said.Pack said while there is no "specific crime called domestic terrorism" in U.S. law, the government still uses that term to describe certain dangerous acts."If someone commits a violent crime like setting fires, attacking police, or destroying government property and they do it to scare people or push a political belief, the FBI can treat it as domestic terrorism," Pack explained.'DELUSIONAL' HILLARY CLINTON SAVAGELY MOCKED FOR LA RIOTS RESPONSE: 'ONLY LEFTISTS DISABLE COMMENTS'John Yoo, a former deputy assistant attorney general and UC Berkeley law professor, echoed Pack and said that the Department of Justice (DOJ) "has plenty of grounds to charge people with obstruction of federal officers and of justice."Pack emphasized again that this does not apply to peaceful demonstrators, only "those who commit or plan acts of violence with political motive.""While the actual charges come from other criminal laws, the terrorism label can lead to more serious investigations and tougher sentences," Pack said. However, Pack said that "protest-related violence" that is carried out by individuals with anarchist or anti-government beliefs is more likely to be labeled as domestic terrorism."Federal agencies like the FBI and Department of Homeland Security consider anarchist violent extremists part of the domestic terrorism threat landscape, especially when violence is organized, politically motivated, and targets law enforcement or government institutions," Pack said."The anarchists plan before they even show up. They use encrypted messaging apps like Signal and Telegram to coordinate everything: where to meet, who brings what. They discuss how to blend in, where to watch police, and how to respond when law enforcement pushes back," Pack continued.Pack said that law enforcement analysts are placing the blame for these escalating riots on a core group of organized anarchists, made up of about 60 individuals, who slipped into the protest crowds."They didn't come to march. They came to carry out a plan they've been developing for years.Slogans arent their thing. They rely on structure. And when they hit the streets, it shows," Pack said."Many arrive late, dressed in black. They quickly change clothes afterward to avoid being identified," he continued. "They know where cameras are, how to create gaps in police lines, and how to spark crowd reactions that lead to violence."Pack said that these specific types of agitators are "on a mission to steal trust by hijacking peaceful protests."DEMOCRATIC STRATEGIST WARNS HIS PARTY THAT LA RIOTS ARE PLAYING INTO TRUMP'S HANDS"When these groups act, they dont start small. They target highly visible places bridges, courthouses, highways. They use distractions and speed, forcing police to react, then record that reaction. Their goal is to provoke. The video becomes fuel, spreading fast on social media to draw in more people and keep tensions high," Pack said.Pack also referred to these tactics working in the 2020 George Floyd and Antifa riots, which is why they are using them again now, he said, except now they are becoming more sophisticated."They turn public anger into confrontation, then disappear into the smoke, leaving communities to deal with the damage. Their methods are professional," Pack described."Their motives are radical, and their impact is growing."Sen. Tom Cotton introduced two new bills designed to place more strict consequences on violent protesters, specifically those who are targeting federal agents or are in the country illegally."Rioters who assault ICE officers and engage in acts of violence should face stiff consequences," Cotton said in a statement. "My bill makes clear that Americans will not tolerate lawless rioting and is a guardrail from pro-crime prosecutors that fail to enforce the law."DEMS WHO HAVE SPOKEN PASSIONATELY AGAINST DOMESTIC TERRORISM GO SILENT AS TESLA TORCHERS ARE CHARGEDThe FBI said that it would be investigating and looking into any organized effort that was created to cause chaos in Los Angeles.Hundreds have been arrested in Los Angeles as cars have been burned and tensions between rioters and law enforcement have continued to intensify.During an interview on "The Claman Countdown" last week, L.A. County District Attorney Nathan Hochman issued a warning to violent rioters."We're coming after those criminals because they're using this protest and otherwise legitimate protest to commit these violent and criminal acts. We're gonna hold them accountable, and they'll be brought to justice," Hochman vowed.President Trump has received pushback from several Democrat lawmakers after deploying 700 U.S. Marines to assist the police and National Guard in restoring the peace in Los Angeles."President Trump will always support and defend the brave law enforcement officers who are being attacked by the violent left-wing rioters. Those who target law enforcement officials will be held accountable to the full extent of the law," Abigail Jackson, White House spokeswoman, told Fox News Digital.Appearing onFox News last week, Cotton argued it was not the deployment of federal resources or deportation efforts that were "provocative," but rather the behavior of protesters.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP"It's not provocative to enforce federal law. It's not provocative to do what President Trump campaigned on," he said."What's provocative is to have all of these illegal aliens setting cars on fire while waving foreign flags and now being joined by professional agitators from Antifa and pro-Hamas sympathizers."Fox News Digital reached out to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office for comment.Fox News Digital's Morgan Phillips contributed to this report.0 Comments 0 Shares 15 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMColorado terror attack exposes national security threat posed by immigrant visa overstays: former FBI agentA former FBI agent says the number of people who overstay their visa in the U.S. is a "national security issue" following the terror attack in Boulder, Colorado that left 15 people injured.Mohamed Sabry Soliman, who's suspected of firebombing a group of peaceful pro-Israel protesters on June 1 leaving 15 people injured, arrived in the United States on Aug. 27, 2022 on a B1/B2 non-immigrant visa, sources told Fox News. His visa was set to end on Feb. 26, 2023, but he received work authorization. Soliman is an Egyptian national.Soliman's work authorization ended in March 2025, around three months before he allegedly attacked the group of pro-Israel protesters.A report from the Department of Homeland Security shows around 400,000 individuals were suspected to have overstayed their visas in fiscal year 2023, the most recent year there's government data on the issue. These are individuals who lawfully obtained a visa to enter the United States, but didn't leave when they were supposed to.BOULDER TERROR ATTACK SUSPECT SHOWED SIGNS OF GROWING LONE-WOLF RADICALIZATION, SAYS FORMER FBI SUPERVISORFormer FBI special agent Jonathan Gilliam told Fox News Digital visa overstays are a national security issue."I think we've shown that it's a national security threat. We've shown just by what we've seen in Boulder, Colorado, but there's numerous other issues that have occurred in this country by people who have overstayed their visas, and I don't believe that people understand the numbers of these individuals," Gilliam said.Between fiscal years 2020 and 2023, Department of Homeland Security data shows that over 1.5 million people have overstayed their visas.Gilliam said the longer it takes for reforms to be implemented to the visa system, the likelihood of another attack only increases."All of this has to be looked at, but just looking at what happened in Boulder, that could happen over and over again because the system of monitoring people who are here on a visa is almost nonexistent once they get in here," Gilliam said. "And if they're idealistic or if they get cultivated to believe in a radical way, there's nothing stopping them."TIMELINE EXPOSES BOULDER SUSPECT'S MOVEMENTS BEFORE ALLEGEDLY CARRYING OUT FIREBOMB ATTACK ON PRO-ISRAEL GROUPOne thing Gilliam said should be looked at is monitoring people who are in the U.S. on visas, as he says there are enough systems in place to track those individuals in real time."We have to come up with better ways to track them, people who will vouch for them. And if we have that in place, along with policies that back the laws, it'll be much easier to determine who is here, where they are, and if they've overstayed," he said. While Soliman was in the United States on a B1/B2 visa, he obtained work authorization that allowed him to have jobs at Vero Health and Uber.A spokesperson for Vero Health told Fox News Digital that Soliman worked at the company for around three months, but didn't explain why he left."He was hired in our accounting department. He went through a hiring process with ADP, our employer [Professional Employer Organization]. At the time of hire, he was confirmed to have a valid work visa, which was noted to expire in March 2025," the spokesperson said.Uber also confirmed to Fox News Digital that Soliman began driving for the company in the spring of 2023, and passed a criminal and driving history background check.Soliman was charged with first-degree murder, crimes against at-risk adults/elderly, first-degree assault, criminal attempt to commit class one and class two felonies, and use of explosives or incendiary devices during a felony.0 Comments 0 Shares 15 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMI know why the UN Security Council is irrelevant to Gaza. I was there when the US stood up for IsraelOn October 7, 2023, like many around the world, I awoke to news of the horrific attacks perpetrated by Hamas against more than 1,200 innocent Israeli, American and other civilians who that day were doing nothing other than going about their lives. The television newscasts were bone-chilling pictures of mutilated babies; of fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers slain in front of family members; of peace activists murdered in cold blood; and of the taking of 250 hostages, some of whom more than 20 months on are still being held.Later that day, the United States called for an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council to address this mass terror attack, the largest murder of Jews since the Holocaust. As the American ambassador to the UN responsible for Security Council matters, I represented the United States at the October 8 emergency meeting and demanded the council issue a statement expressly condemning Hamas for the ruthless terrorist attacks. Unfortunately, Russia, China and a few other council members refused to endorse such a statement. To put it simply, their refusal to call a spade a spade was abhorrent and incomprehensible. Note: To this day, the Security Council has yet to formally declare Hamas a terrorist group.TRUMP ADMIN STANDS BY ISRAEL, REJECTS UN RESOLUTION BACKED BY UK AND FRANCEGoing into the October 8 emergency Security Council meeting, there had rightfully been much global sympathy for Israeland certainly an expectation that Israel would have to respond militarily. However, once Israel took measures to defend itself, a right enshrined in Article 51 of the UN Charter, many nations, most notably from the Global South, condemned Israels response as disproportionate and used it as a rallying cry to further isolate Israel in the multilateral system and beyond. To me and many of my U.S. government colleagues, this was not unexpected. Since joining the UN in 1948, there has been an unfortunate decline in support for Israel at the world body, a decline that began to accelerate following the period of decolonization in the 1960s. Many former colonies wrongly began to view the Israel-Palestinian conflict through the prism of their own struggles against European colonizers, with Israel viewed as a colonizer and the Palestinians as being colonized.Israels relationship with the UN reached a nadir in 1975, when the UN General Assembly passed a highly politicized resolution equating Zionism with racism, a document that was finally revoked by the UNGA in 1991. Regrettably, efforts by the Palestinians and their supporters to isolate Israel at the UN have not abated and in fact have intensified since October 7, 2023. ISRAELI OFFICIALS OBJECT TO EXPECTED UN SECURITY COUNCIL CEASEFIRE RESOLUTIONDuring my two-plus years in New York as ambassador, I engaged in a great deal of difficult diplomacy on the situation in Gaza and cast the sole veto of two UNSC draft resolutions related to the war, both of which lacked a clear condemnation of Hamas, a direct linkage of a ceasefire to the release of hostages, and a reference to Israels Article 51 rights.Had these texts been adopted by the council, they would not have delivered an immediate ceasefire or a release of the hostagesbut certainly would have given Hamas the time and space to rearm. Other council representatives privately agreed but nevertheless felt increasing pressure from their capitals to produce a council document calling for an immediate ceasefire. From the beginning of the conflict through the end of the Biden administration, the U.S. regularly proffered creative alternatives on ceasefire language, while most other council members insisted on an explicit reference to an immediate ceasefire. On rare occasions, the council was able to find common ground on Gaza wording when it focused on upholding the principles of humanitarian assistance and protection of civilians.NETANYAHU SLAMS 'TERRORIST-SUPPORTING' UN COUNCIL THAT ACCUSED ISRAEL OF COMMITTING SEXUAL CRIMESBut when some members opted to abandon council unity and force votes on resolutions containing unacceptable ceasefire language, the U.S. was left with no choice but to exercise its veto. Before each veto was cast, we recognized the potential collateral damage to Americas international reputation; however, in our view the adoption of an unbalanced council resolution would have made a ceasefire neither practicable nor implementable given the highly charged and extremely complex situation on the ground. In the United States view, the establishment of a limited and credible negotiation channel was essential for achieving an effective, durable and sustainable end to the war. While the Biden administration didnt achieve an end to the war on its watch, it did negotiate a three-phase diplomatic framework to pause the fighting and release the hostages, which was ultimately blessed by the council and backed by the Trump administration. To this day, one key factor hampering council unity on Gaza is Moscow and Beijings exploitation of the situation there for a clear geopolitical end: deflect international attention away from Russias savage war against Ukraine. In response to Russian statements in the Council on Gaza, which habitually condemned the U.S. for allegedly facilitating Israeli actions, I constantly reminded council members that Russia was in no position to criticize any country given the horrific war of aggression it was conducting in Ukraine. I also publicly warned Chinese diplomats that should they continue making false accusations about the U.S. concerning Gaza, I would immediately call out their countrys support to Russias military industrial base, refuting Beijings fictitious claim that it supports neither party to the conflict. Russia and China must end their politicization of Gaza and either contribute constructively to peace efforts or simply get out of the way.ISRAEL'S AMBASSADOR SLAMS UN'S SILENCE ON HAMAS: 'HAS NO RESOLUTIONS'While I had expected Russia and China to take adversarial positions, I was extremely disappointed that three U.S. partners on the council, Slovenia, Algeria and Guyana, chose to regularly piggyback on Russian and Chinese political shenanigans to push for more urgent council action on the issue. Their aim was to shame the U.S. and compel it to change course from its steadfast support of Israel in the war with Hamas. All the while, the three had been keenly aware that Washington was conducting sensitive negotiations behind the scenes with Israel, Qatar and Egypt on steps to facilitate a durable end to the fighting and ease civilian suffering in Gaza. But instead of getting fully behind those steps and working with us in good faith, they preferred to ratchet up public pressure on the U.S. and ignore American concerns about how their actions would be manipulated by Hamas and other malign actors in the regionIran, Hezbollah and the Houthis to the detriment of regional peace and security. CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONGiven persistent council divisions over the war in Gaza, some UN member states continue to lay the diplomatic predicate for a future General Assembly resolution (non-legally binding) calling for sanctions, an arms embargo and other tough international measures against Israel. The recent U.S. veto of another council resolution on Gaza will certainly provide fuel for those efforts. As I write, the Palestinians and their allies continue to ponder additional pathways to go after Israel throughout the UN system. There is even discussion in some UN circles about suspending Israels voting rights in the General Assembly, an act that would deeply anger Washington and trigger severe political consequences for the UN. FAMILIES OF AMERICAN OCT. 7 HAMAS ATTACK VICTIMS SUE IRAN FOR CRUCIAL ROLE IN SUPPORTING MASSACRESince this tragic conflict began, I have been mystified as to why many UN officials believe that all the U.S. has to do is instruct Israel to end its pursuit of Hamas and then somehow a magical end to the fighting would materialize. On their part, I sense a genuine reluctance to treat Israel as a legitimate state with its own national security concerns. While the United States does indeed have influence with Israel, it is nave at best for these colleagues to think America can simply dictate to Jerusalem what it should and shouldnt do in response to what it perceives as existential threats. Misguided pressure on the U.S., relentless efforts to isolate Israel, Russian and Chinese diversionary tactics, blatant antisemitism, and a reluctance by some states to compromise continue to stymie the Security Councils ability to speak with one voice on ending the Gaza war. Until these unfortunate practices cease, the council will remain irrelevant to a resolution to Gaza and the broader Israel-Palestinian conflict. While no one can ignore the terrible tragedy that is now Gaza, it remains a fact that those UN member states that have influence with Hamas have made a strategic decision not to use it. The hesitancy of many countries over the years to publicly condemn Hamas as a terrorist group has only given it the oxygen it needs to carry on, no matter how much death and suffering Palestinians in Gaza continue to experience. To end this war, Hamas must disarm and disband. There will not be peace in Gaza until it does. Gazans deserve an opportunity to live in peace and to seek a prosperous future. Hamas continued rule will bring them neither.CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM ROBERT WOOD0 Comments 0 Shares 15 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMCNN has 'tears on the horizon' as Warner Bros. Discovery plots network spinoff, industry insiders sayCNN has "tears on the horizon" after Warner Bros. Discovery announced last week that it will split into two companies by separating its studios andstreaming business from cable TV networks, according to media insiders. The corporate split, which is expected to be completed by mid-2026, will have significant ramifications for CNN, which is being treated as a declining asset that weighed down WBDs shinier businesses.A little over three years ago, Discovery Inc. merged with WarnerMedia to create Warner Bros. Discovery to much fanfare as CEO David Zaslav touted the company as "the best place for impactful storytelling." Things didnt exactly work out, and Warner Bros. Discovery CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels will lead the spun-off group of cable assets, including CNN, while Zaslav keeps the studios andstreaming business."Putting a bean counter as CEO sends a very clear message: this is finally the beginning of the long-overdue correction of the [Jeff] Zucker-era excesses," a media insider close to CNN told Fox News Digital.WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY ANNOUNCES MAJOR CORPORATE RESTRUCTURING TO SEPARATE STREAMING FROM CABLEIndeed, former CNN boss Jeff Zucker, who was forced out ahead of the 2022 merger, was known for keeping his anchors happy with lofty salaries. The insider believes that bloated paychecks arent justified nowadays when CNN struggles to attract a respectable audience."Its not just the overpriced talent. Its the overpriced producers. The overpriced executives. The superfluous reporters who barely are on the air.All will either be exited or forced to take massive pay cuts," the media insider said."But it will be most devastating for the rank and file," they continued. "With no union protections, there will be massive layoffs and those remaining will be asked to do the work of their departed colleagues."The insider added that "everyone should feel some sympathy for whats about to happen," even if you arent a fan of the liberal networks product.CNN has hit various ratings lows in recent memory and had its second-worst month ever in the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults age 25-54 across both total day and primetime viewers in May. The network has shed viewers in all categories compared to 2024 and is on pace to have its lowest-rated year ever among the demo.FOX NEWS BEATS ABC, NBC, CBS DURING WEEKDAY PRIMETIME WHILE CNN HAS LOWEST-RATED WEEK OF YEARCNN CEO Mark Thompson has been attempting to emphasize digital content amid the linear ratings collapse, but a second longtime media industry insider, who once worked at CNN, doesnt see the situation improving."Theres nothing but tears on the horizon for CNN," they told Fox News Digital."They no longer have much value since its now easier and cheaper to get video and live reports from news events, especially international events, which is their core competency. And their content especially on CNN.com isnt good enough to charge subscriptions," they continued. "Their revenue model is in collapse, but its a slow death. Gunnar has about ten years to squeeze every last penny out of that place before rigor mortis."CNNs shows for its domestic network are typically staffed more heavily than programs on MSNBC and other cable news channels. The second insider feels Wiedenfels could "start by making 70% cuts to all show teams for CNN US, bringing their staffing in line with that of their competition" before pivoting to talent salaries."CNNs first- and second-tier talent now make, thanks to Jeff Zucker buying their loyalty, about five times what theyre worth on the open market. All talent should be offered a choice of an immediate pay cut -- based on a market analysis of their actual value -- with a three-year contract renewal, or we pay out their remaining contract and terminate them," the insider said."Overall, you could reduce costs at CNN 50-60% with no change to ratings or revenue, and manage the decline from there, with increasing, annual cutbacks as you wind the company down," they added. "Basically, do palliative care."JAKE TAPPER'S CNN SHOW HITS LOWEST RATINGS SINCE 2015 DESPITE NEW BIDEN BOOK BUZZ, INTENSE PUBLICITY TOURA WBD insider pushed back on the doom and gloom, noting it was too early to be surmising about these sorts of plans, and rumors about cost-cutting seem to be from people who are "not informed." The same insider noted that on an investor call last week, Wiedenfels expressed excitement for the cable networks, including investment opportunities.Economist Michael Szanto is optimistic and feels that if consumers "learn to overcome extreme political polarization in a way that allows Americans to once again trust news coverage," CNN could remain relevant for years to come."CNN is actually a gem in the WBD fold. It has a historic, iconic place for its groundbreaking coverage of the Tiananmen Square Massacre in China, the attempted Communist Coup against Gorbachev, and unrivaled coverage of the 1991 Iraq War to liberate Kuwait. For decades the voice of James Earl Jones gave CNN a very powerful voice tagline that is deeply memorable for older Americans," Szanto told Fox News Digital.Meanwhile, CNN has taken a beating in the press since the looming split was announced.Variety, a Hollywood and media trade publication, even put a spotlight on CNNs woes last week when announcing the network hired advertising executive Guy Griggs as its new senior vice president of ad sales and client partnerships."CNN has been projected to lose both subscribers and ad revenue over the next year, according to estimates from Kagan, a research unit of S&P Global Market Intelligence. CNNs ad revenue is expected to fall to nearly $499.2 million, according to Kagan, compared with $563.9 million in 2024. News networks typically enjoy an economic boost in an election year, but the estimates for CNN would also fall from 2023s $518.1 million," Variety reported.Dylan Byers, a former CNN media reporter who now covers the industry for Puck, said he "received adelugeof text messages from addled employees at CNN" asking him what the split meant for the network.CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE OF MEDIA AND CULTURE"As you may have surmised, running a 24/7 global news network with foreign bureaus isexpensive, and the underlying unit economics only make sense to the people inside the building. With the industry in inexorable decline, CNNs ratings at a nadir, and younger audiences turning to user-generated schlock on YouTube and TikTok for news, those costs are increasingly hard to justify," Byers wrote in an opinion piece."Inevitably, Gunnar will look at CNN and decide he can maintain relatively similar profits at a mere fraction of the cost," Byers continued. "This will have perceptible ramifications on the talent side. Why, for instance, would Gunnar payAnderson Cooper$18 million a year whenKaitlan Collinsdraws the same ratings at roughly a fifth of the salary?"Byers evoked HLN, a once-prominent CNN sister network formally known as Headline News, which terminated all live programming in 2022. The comparison is essentially nightmare fuel for CNN loyalists who dont want to see the network suffer a similar fate."Do CNNs bureaus and infrastructure make economic sense in this brave new world? Increasingly less, of course. Over time, it will look more and more like HLN, which is one reason HLN no longer exists," Byers wrote. "There will also be significant layoffs, diminished resources, and persnickety indignities: sh-ttier offices, fewer perks, and more scrutiny of the T&E."CNN did not immediately respond to a request for comment.0 Comments 0 Shares 15 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMBill Maher laments about former ABC reporter failing to be impartial with Trump social media rant"Overtime" host Bill Maher called out former ABC reporter Terry Moran for his social media rant against President Donald Trump and Stephen Miller, arguing that he looked to the ex-ABC journalist to be "impartial.""This guy's a reporter, what the f---?" Maher said on the "Overtime" segment of his show, "Real Time Will Bill Maher" on Friday, as his guest, Ian Bremmer, said there were "lots of jobs" in which someone could post what Moran did on social media and added, "journalism is not one of them."Moran posted on social media that Trump and White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller were "world-class" haters on June 8, and then deleted the post. ABC News first announced they were suspending Moran but then ultimately parted ways with him."Lots of jobs you can have and do that, that is the one job I'm looking at you to be impartial, just give me the facts, I don't need to know this from you, Terry Moran," Maher said.EX-ABC REPORTER FIRED OVER ANTI-TRUMP POSTS WARNS WE WILL LOSE OUR DEMOCRACY AFTER PADILLA INCIDENTMaher quoted Moran's description of Miller, which said, "Miller is a man who is richly endowed with a capacity for hatred, hes a world-class hater, you can see this just by looking at him, because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment, he eats his hate."Shortly after suspending Moran, ABC News announced they were parting with the long-time correspondent."We are at the end of our agreement with Terry Moran and based on his recent post which was a clear violation of ABC News policies we have made the decision to not renew," a spokesperson for ABC News confirmed to Fox News Digital on Tuesday. "At ABC News, we hold all of our reporters to the highest standards of objectivity, fairness and professionalism, and we remain committed to delivering straightforward, trusted journalism."ABC NEWS INSIDER SAYS THERE WAS 'NO ALTERNATIVE' BUT FOR NETWORK TO FIRE TERRY MORAN OVER ANTI-TRUMP POSTMoran immediately moved to Substack after parting ways with ABC News over the post.He published his first Substack post on Friday, praising the opposition to Trump and those who have spoken out, writing, "We will lose this democracy if we do not use our voices."CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE OF MEDIA AND CULTUREABC News staffers told Fox News Digital that they were disappointed by Moran's rant."People love Terry here, I want to be clear, nobody thinks Terry is a bad person, but this was a very, very stupid thing to do in a time where all of our credibility is on the line," one ABC staffer told Fox News Digital, adding the entire journalism industry is fighting to win trust."You tweeted something, and you basically hurt all of us.
