Behind the scenes of Trump's anticipated Antifa roundtable with Cabinet members
FIRST ON FOX: President Donald Trump is set to host a roundtable at the White House Wednesday afternoon to hear from independent journalists who have experienced Antifa's violence firsthand, Fox News Digital learned.Trump will be joined by members of his Cabinet, independent journalists and other administration officials for a "listening session" to discuss the radical left-wing group, which was recently designated a domestic terrorist organization, Fox News Digital learned."For too long, Antifa has ravaged great American cities while ineffectual Democrat leaders turn a blind eye and most in the media have gone right along with them," White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital Wednesday. "Some reporters have been brave enough to blaze their own trail and report the facts rather than go along with the Fake News Groupthink."The roundtable comes after Trump ordered National Guard troops to Portland, Oregon, as part of his administration's ongoing effort to remove illegal immigrants and crime from U.S. streets. The order, however, is currently tied up in the courts after a federal judge Sunday temporarily blocked the administration from deploying troops to Oregon.EX-ANTIFA ACTIVIST PRAISES TRUMPS DECISION TO LABEL GROUP DOMESTIC TERRORISTSAntifa is a far-left militant movement that pitches itself as an "antifascist" activist group. It has been accused of spreading violence through riots, most notably during the 2020 defund the police and Black Lives Matter riots, as well as more recently in Antifa-linked attacks on federal immigration officials and facilities as the Trump administration works to deport millions of illegal immigrants from the nation.TRUMP CALLS ANTIFA TERRORIST GROUP, FUELING FIGHT OVER FREE SPEECH AND LIMITS OF LAW ENFORCEMENTThe Wednesday roundtable will include Trump delivering remarks to the group before hearing from Cabinet members and independent journalists, Fox News Digital learned ahead of the event.Cabinet members and administration officials who are scheduled to deliver remarks during the roundtable include Attorney General Pam Bondi, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, FBI Director Kash Patel, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, White House deputy chief of staff for policy and Homeland Security advisor Stephen Miller, and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.TRUMP COULD TARGET ANTIFA WITH POWERFUL RICO ACT, COUNTERTERRORISM EXPERT SAYSIndependent journalists who are slated to join the discussion, Fox News Digital learned, include Nick Sortor, Cam Higby, Jonathan Choe, Andy Ngo, Katie Daviscourt, James Klug, Savanah Hernandez, Nick Shirley, Brandi Kruse and Julio Rojas.Ngo, for example, long has reported on Antifa's riots and activism in Portland, Oregon, and other cities on the West Coast, gaining national prominence in 2019 when he was attacked by masked individuals during a Portland protest. He went on to author the 2021 book, "Unmasked: Inside Antifa's Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy."Sortor gained national attention in October after he was arrested in Portland during a protest outside a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility. He was initially charged with second-degree disorderly conduct before the district attorney's office dropped the charges as Sortor maintained that he was confronted by two Antifa-affiliated individuals before he was detained."The White House applauds these independent journalists; we look forward to hearing from those who have seen the facts for themselves and are sharing the truth about the violence, crime, and local Democrat leaders failure to address the problem," Jackson added in her comment to Fox News Digital. "The Fake News should tune in, they could learn a thing or two!"HOUSE FREEDOM CAUCUS CHAIR, OTHER REPUBLICANS BACK TRUMP IN DESIGNATING ANTIFA A TERROR ORGANIZATIONLeavitt previously and repeatedly has reprimanded the media when discussing the left-wing radical group, arguing mainstream outlets have not accurately reported on Antifa's violence."This is something the president campaigned on because we have seen a rise in violence perpetuated by Antifa, radical people across this country who subscribe to this group," Leavitt said during remarks to the media in September. "And unfortunately, it's gone widely uncovered by many in the legacy media. It also went completely ignored by the previous administration. Not anymore."Democrats and critics of the Trump administration have argued that cities such as Portland, Oregon, where Antifa riots have previously played out, are safe and that the administration was allegedly conflating terrorism with protests.Trump designated Antifa a domestic terrorist organization in September through an executive order that slammed the group for "advancing political violence.""Antifa recruits, trains, and radicalizes young Americans to engage in this violence and suppression of political activity, then employs elaborate means and mechanisms to shield the identities of its operatives, conceal its funding sources and operations in an effort to frustrate law enforcement, and recruit additional members," the executive order stated.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP"Individuals associated with and acting on behalf of Antifa further coordinate with other organizations and entities for the purpose of spreading, fomenting, and advancing political violence and suppressing lawful political speech," it added.

Kennedy says Schumer 'nervous as a pregnant nun' as socialist wing tightens grip amid government shutdown
Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., accused Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., of engineering what he called a "political shutdown" to appease the far-left wing of the Democratic Party a claim Schumer has denied."His relationship with the truth is very casual," Kennedy told "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday."Hes nervous as a pregnant nun about losing his re-election to the socialist wing of his party, led by Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez, which is in control."KENNEDY CLAIMS DEMOCRATS WANT MILLIONS FOR FOREIGN LGBT PROJECTS, ELECTRIC BUSES TO END SHUTDOWNThe shutdown began earlier this month, leading to travel delays and leaving thousands of federal employees working without pay.House Republicans introduced several proposals aimed at ending the stalemate, but Democrats have refused to back any measures that dont include an extension of enhanced ObamaCare subsidies, which are set to expire at the end of 2025.Kennedy argued that Schumer is catering to the partys far-left faction, but when asked by a reporter on Capitol Hill, Schumer denied the claim.JOHNSON ACCUSES SCHUMER OF BLOCKING REAL DISCUSSION TO KEEP GOVERNMENT OPEN"No, the bottom line is very simple. Were fighting for the American people, and its not just one small group of American people that want this. Its across the board," Schumer said Tuesday.Still, Kennedy predicted Schumer will eventually back down."Senator Schumer is a smart man. Hes been around a long time. His first car was a chariot," Kennedy said."Washington is all hes ever known his entire life. He knows hes on shaky ground here in terms of policy."BLAME GAME: REPUBLICANS CLAIM SCHUMER FORCED SHUTDOWN 'BECAUSE HES TERRIFIED' OF AOC PRIMARY CHALLENGEKennedy went on to say he believes Schumer will persuade enough Democrats to side with Republicans to end the shutdown."Hell say, I can't vote with you. Ive got to appear to be tough. I may even have to criticize you, but wink, wink, nod, nod. I'm trying to make the loon wing of the party love me," Kennedy said."But he's got to be careful with that, because he doesn't want it to look like a mutiny, because then he looks even weaker."

Turning Point's 'Club America' chapters and why they're growing in Oklahoma and the South
Turning Point USA has expanded rapidly after former Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters said there would be chapters at every high school in the state, and groups are growing across the South as well.Turning Point USA calls the high school chapters "Club America.""It's been crazy," Mason Cottrell, TPUSA's southern regional director, told Fox News Digital.Cottrell said that Oklahoma has had the most "Club America" chapters in a school year so far. Oklahoma usually has around 15 at the end of each school year, and now they have at least 60.TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY STUDENT VOWS TO RESTORE CHRISTIAN VALUES ON CAMPUS WITH TPUSA"It's gone up significantly. And we're starting chapters, at least a couple, every single day," he said.Cottrell went on to say, "So we've seen huge growth. And I think we're going to, I mean, we still have dozens that we're actively working on new people reaching out to us every day. So, it's only going to continue to get bigger."Oklahoma has started three to seven chapters a day since Walters made the announcement on September 23, Cottrell said. The growth of "Club America" chapters is not solely due to Walters' mandate."I think just being a conservative state and people are, maybe, a little more brave to speak out. I don't think that it was all Ryan Walters, right? I think his mandate helped, and we definitely saw a jump and shift, and we're continuing to see that. But we also have the people here that are really willing and ready to kind of take that next step," Cottrell said.Walters pledged to have a TPUSA presence in every high school to honor the groups co-founder, Charlie Kirk.LIBERAL GEORGIA PROFESSOR SPONSORS TPUSA CHAPTER DESPITE CONFLICTING VIEWS: A RISK WORTH TAKING"Im excited to announce today that every Oklahoma high school will have a Turning Point USA chapter," Walters said in a video on his X account. He later explained that it wasn't a mandate but rather because students were leading the charge to do so. Oklahoma is a deeply red state, going to President Donald Trump by huge margins in all three of his runs for the White House.Kirk's assassination on Sept. 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University pushed TPUSA into its greatest prominence yet. Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, was named CEO and chair of the board of TPUSA, which operates 900 college chapters and about 1,200 high school chapters. After Kirk's massive memorial service on Sept. 13, TPUSA announced that it has received more than 120,000 inquiries from people wanting to start new campus chapters."Club America" chapters ideally host a meeting twice a month for conservative students to express their values and ideas. The chapters host activities based on themes that could entail patriotism, sports, taxes or other topics. For instance, "Club America" chapters hosted "Free Speech Week" and "United We Stand" for the week of September 11.FLORIDA VOWS LEGAL ACTION AGAINST ANY EFFORTS TO BLOCK TPUSA CHAPTERS ON CAMPUSThe clubs set up tables on their high school's campus to promote TPUSA and typically bring in conservative speakers once a semester.Cottrell oversees Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri, Arkansas, west Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and the panhandle of Florida."We've seen a big boost. Alabama and Mississippi specifically are really, really growing. And I think that's because if you look at Oklahoma, they're very similar to Oklahoma in their makeup. And then west Tennessee has seen a big increase as well," he added."Club America" chapters have faced challenges in blue cities, according to Cottrell. Some reports led Florida officials to threaten legal action against any high schools that blocks TPUSA efforts on their campus. However, there were no reports substantiated by Florida officials to Fox News Digital.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP"We do get push back from some schools," he said."We've had some in Oklahoma, even, but at the end of the day, they have to accept them as a club on campus because, you know, the law kind of requires it. So we face some of that, but we have processes and ways to kind of combat that and help the students get what they want, which is to be recognized and be a club on campus," he added.

Eric Trump erupts on Chris Cuomo after being asked if his father was targeting political foes
Eric Trump exploded on NewsNation's Chris Cuomo on Tuesday after the host asked whether his father, President Donald Trump, was targeting his political foes in the same way he'd accused the Biden administration of doing to him."Do you think that it is fair to say it looks like the administration is going after its political opponents now and doing exactly what you say you oppose?" Cuomo asked."Oh, thats, what [James] Comey? Because, I mean, it seemed very clear to me in the congressional testimony, I dont know, just watching it, it certainly seems like he lied to me. I mean, Im also wondering what an FBI director is doing taking memos from the FBI and leaking them to The New York Times," Eric Trump responded, referencing the recent indictment of former FBI Director James Comey on charges of alleged false statements and obstruction of Congress.TRUMP BATTLES JOHN BOLTON, CHRIS CHRISTIE AND THREATENS TO PULL FUNDS FROM WES MOORES MARYLANDHe added that he hoped Comey would be "keeping planes from flying into buildings" and protecting the country, rather than "communicating every single day with The New York Times."Keeping the pressure on Cuomo, Eric Trump continued, "But I find it so ironic that youre literally one thats pushing back on the weaponization of government when the very same people that were coming after us, you know, went after your brother [former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo] like hounds. I mean, they did everything they could to destroy his governorship. They did everything that they could to destroy his life. They did everything they could do to destroy you."ANDREW CUOMO PREDICTS REPUBLICAN VICTORY ACROSS NEW YORK IF MAMDANI WINSThe president's son asserted that the legal cases brought against his father were intended to "destroy" him and his family, adding that "they were trying to take all our assets and strip our name off of every building in New York City.""Youve been on the receiving end of the very same people that Ive been the receiving end of," Eric Trump told Cuomo. "And so, to play coy with me as if this isnt happening in the United States of America just seems ironic and foolish given what youve been through more so than anybody, worse than anybody."Taking immediate issue with Eric Trump's assertion that he was "playing coy," Cuomo quickly fired back, saying, "Hold on a second. What did you just say that you think Im doing?"CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE OF MEDIA AND CULTURE"Im asking you questions about whether or not if something is wrong, is it also wrong to do the same thing when you get back in power?" the NewsNation host clarified. "But if you think Im playing coy, uh, you dont know me as well as you should. Im not playing coy. I know what happened to me, Eric. Im saying that what is happening now looks like what was done to you. Thats why Im asking the question."Eric Trump once again erupted at Cuomo after the host implied that his father was weaponizing the law against his political opponents in the same way he claims President Joe Biden's administration did to him."Hey, did we raid [Joe] Bidens home? Did we? Did we try and bankrupt Biden? Did they come after us?" he snapped. "Did we weaponize every AG and DA against Biden? Do we do that against Hunter Biden, who had a laptop from hell, pictures of cocaine, illicit drug use, prostitution? You know, did we do that?"CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP"Did we make up a dirty dossier about Biden?" he asked. "Did we try and destroy Bidens marriage? You know, was any of that true? I mean, did we make up stories that Biden had secret servers in the basement of his home communicating with the Kremlin in Russia? You know, did we strip Biden off the ballot of multiple states? Did we take Biden off of Twitter and Instagram and Facebook and try and silence his voice so he couldnt communicate? Did we put Biden in a courtroom every single day, 91 felony counts that have all been overturned for my father now, right? For nonsense, to try and keep him off of a campaign trail and to try to destroy his life? Did we do any of that?"

Johnson rejects push for military pay fix as shutdown fight intensifies
Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., appeared to rule out bringing the House of Representatives back to Washington for a standalone vote on ensuring military service members get paid on time during the government shutdown.Johnson pointed out to reporters at a Wednesday news conference that the House passed a federal funding bill last month that would have kept troops paid and avoided the shutdown altogether, but argued the onus is now on the Senate to pass that measure. The government shutdown is in its eighth day."I want everybody to listen to me very carefully. [House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y.] and the House Democratsare clamoring to get back here and have another vote because some of them want to get on record and say they're for paying the troops," Johnson said."We already had that vote. It's called the [continuing resolution]. Every Republican and at least one Democrat had the common sense to say, Of course, we want the government to stay in operation. Of course, we want to pay our troops and our air traffic controllers and our Border Patrol agents, TSA, and everybody else. We did have that vote."Members of the military are expected to get paid next Wednesday, but that money will be deferred if the government is still shut down.A continuing resolution (CR) is an extension of current federal funding levels aimed at giving lawmakers more time to hash out a longer-term deal on the next fiscal year's government spending. The GOP-led CR that passed the House would roughly keep federal funding levels steady through Nov. 21, with an added $88 million in security spending for lawmakers, the White House and the judicial branch. But that bill has stalled in the Senate, having failed five times so far as Democrats continue to insist on pairing any CR with an extension of enhanced Obamacare subsidies that are poised to expire at the end of 2025.Republicans have accused Democrats of holding Americans and the government hostage over partisan demands, while Democrats warned that the GOP would be responsible for hiking healthcare costs for millions of Americans if the enhanced COVID-era subsidies are allowed to expire.Military service members are among several groups of federal government employees deemed "essential" during a shutdown, meaning they must keep working even while missing their paychecks. They are poised to get that missed cash in the form of backpay once a shutdown is resolved, however. On a private call between House Republicans and their leaders on Saturday, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., pointed out that Oct. 15 would be the next consequential day in the ongoing shutdown standoff. That's the military's next payday, meaning it will be the first paycheck U.S. troops will miss if the shutdown is ongoing.

Europe takes on 'hybrid war' as Germany allows police to shoot down drones
Its time to take on Russias "hybrid warfare" by openly acknowledging the threat and deterring future provocation, European Union chief Ursula von der Leyen said on Wednesday. The president of the European Commission highlighted that in just the last two weeks, Russian drones and warplanes have violated the airspace of six European nations, scrambling jets, grounding commercial flights and posing a direct threat to EU citizens."One incident may be a mistake. Two incidents a coincidence," von der Leyen said while speaking to the EUs parliament. "But three, five, 10 this is a deliberate and targeted gray zone campaign against Europe, and Europe must respond."NATO ALLIES CLASH AFTER RUSSIAN JETS BREACH AIRSPACE, TESTING ALLIANCE RESOLVEThe EU chief said these aerial threats are just the latest in a string of kinetic and non-kinetic Russian attacks that have targeted undersea cables, airports, logistics hubs and elections across the continent using direct force as well as cyber-based aggression."These incidents are calculated to linger in the twilight of deniability," von der Leyen said. "This is not random harassment. It is a coherent and escalating campaign to unsettle our citizens, test our resolve, divide our union and weaken our support for Ukraine, and it is time to call it by its name."This is hybrid warfare, and we have to take it very serious," she said.Von der Leyen said much has already been set in motion to better take on Russias growing aggression, including the mobilization of nearly $930 billion in defense expenditures through 2030 which she said is the largest "surge of defense spending in the history of the Union."But the EU chief said more needs to be done, including promoting a "new mindset" when it comes to EU security among the public.TRUMP 'DRAMATICALLY' CHANGES TUNE ON UKRAINE BUT EXPERTS CAUTION PUTIN IS STILL WAITING FOR ACTION"Tackling Russia's hybrid war is not only about traditional defense, it is about software for drones. It is about spare parts for pipelines. It is about rapid cyber response teams, and it is about public information campaigns to spread awareness," she said. "We must be ready to leave our comfort zone."Nations like Germany are already taking new action to counter Russias gray zone tactics, and on Wednesday German lawmakers paved the way for local police forces to be granted permission to shoot down drones. The plan, championed by German Chancellor Frederick Merz on Wednesday, still needs to be approved by the nations parliament, but comes less than a week after planes were grounded at the Munich airport over nearby drone sightings."Drone incidents threaten our security," Merz said in a post on X. "We will not permit that. We are strengthening the FederalPolices powers so thatdronescan be detected and countered more quickly in the future."Local reporting earlier this week also noted that laser systems have been installed to better locate Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) sightings after several incidents involving drones disrupted airports across Europe in recent months.

MIKE DAVIS: The Supreme Court betrayed again this time from the bench
In May 2022, a cowardly traitor destroyed the sanctity of the Supreme Court, violating one of its essential values: secrecy. This degenerate leaked the draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Womens Health Organization, the case that, a month later, finally did away with the 1973 constitutional abomination known as Roe v. Wade. Nearly three and a half years later, the leaker remains unnamed, even though he or she caused a summer of violent threats from leftists and constant harassment of a majority of the Supreme Court in their homes and at their childrens schools, in blatant violation of 18 U.S. Code 115 and other federal criminal statutes as well as the near-assassination of another justice and his family. This past Friday, the judiciary was betrayed again this time directly by a sitting judge.SEN. KENNEDY LEFT SHOCKED BY JUDGE'S 8-YEAR SENTENCE FOR ATTEMPTED KAVANAUGH ASSASSINNicholas Roske, a pet store employee from California, was very upset about the Dobbs leak. He was a fervent abortion supporter and wanted to stop the overturning of Roe. Instead of campaigning to elect Democrats who would implement his preferred agenda the actions of someone who truly respects representative democracy Roske extensively planned and prepared, then flew from Los Angeles International Airport to the area near the home of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, one of the purported members of the majority according to the Dobbs leak. In a series of social media posts before his departure, Roske indicated his desire to assassinate three Supreme Court justices to preserve abortion rights.Roske came well-prepared to kill Justice Kavanaugh. Among other things, he brought a handgun, nearly 40 rounds of ammunition, a tactical knife, lock-picking tools, a nail punch, a crowbar, a pistol light, duct tape, pepper spray, zip ties, and hiking boots with padding on the soles so he could move about the Kavanaughs home more quietly. Justice Kavanaugh lives with his wife and two teenage daughters. God forbid what would have happened had the other Kavanaughs tried to defend him. When Roske arrived, however, he found he could not go through with his plan because law enforcement was outside the Kavanaughs home. Realizing they had seen him, Roske called 911 and claimed to be suicidal, confessing his assassination plan to the dispatcher. When police arrived and arrested Roske, he repeated his confession and explained why he wanted to kill Justice Kavanaugh. For the past three and a half years, he has sat in jail. Last Friday, he finally received his sentence after his guilty plea before Maryland U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman. Boardman was one of President Bidens earliest judicial appointees and one of his worst, which is quite a statement given some of the atrocious rulings Biden-appointed judges have handed down. Boardmans sentencing of Roske, however, stands out as the decision most deserving of ignominy. The prosecution justifiably recommended a 30-year sentence. The United States has never had a Supreme Court justice assassinated; indeed, only one other attempt had occurred prior to Justice Kavanaughs brush with death.Roske had a secret weapon on his side: his supposed mental illness of gender dysphoria. While in jail, Roske indicated that he was transgender and wished to be called Sophie and addressed with female pronouns. Boardman accepted this, musing at sentencing that a bright spot had come out of the attempted assassination of Justice Kavanaugh that Roskes mother now recognized his gender identity. Boardman referred to Roske as female. Then she delivered the coup de grce, handing down a pathetically lenient sentence of eight years imprisonment followed by lifetime supervised release. Eight years. That, apparently, is the legal price one must pay for an act that, had it succeeded, would have torn at the very fabric of the Republic. The assassination would have changed history, as Roe would have been safe for decades to come. There is no doubt Biden would have nominated a leftist to replace Justice Kavanaugh, and the Democrat-controlled Senate would have gleefully confirmed the nominee. So much for the rule of law.Judges must begin sentencings by calculating the appropriate range under the Sentencing Guidelines. The Guidelines are a starting point for district judges and are advisory. Boardman wrongly rejected a terrorism enhancement for Roske. If his conduct was not an attempt to commit an act of terrorism, nothing is. He wanted to murder three justices to change the outcome of one of the most contested cases in American history. In addition to that error, Boardman also made another: she issued a substantively unreasonable sentence.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONAppellate courts, unlike district judges, must presume that sentences within the Guidelines range are reasonable. Boardman, however, gave a gargantuan departure in favor of Roske. There is precedent in several circuits for reversing sentences as substantively unreasonable. The Seventh Circuit did just that in United States v. Vrdolyak (2010), a case in which a leftist judge had absurdly given probation to a corrupt former Chicago Democratic alderman nicknamed "Fast Eddie," who had engaged in massive fraud. The Eleventh Circuit likewise reversed another leftist judge who had imposed a woefully lenient sentence in United States v. Martin (2005, 2006). That court made the mistake of remanding to the same judge for resentencing after the first reversal but did not repeat the error.Attorney General Pam Bondi has rightly decided to appeal this abomination of a decision. If the leftist-controlled Fourth Circuit does not reverse Boardman, the Supreme Court must. Tina Peters, a former Colorado county clerk, received nine and a half years in prison because she gave unauthorized access to the countys election system in an effort to root out fraud. Her actions did not change one vote, and there was zero risk of violence. By contrast, Roske, who tried to murder a Supreme Court justice, received a year and a half less time. That disparity in favor of Roske is indefensible. Boardman even gave a sentence six months harsher to an identity thief a month ago than she handed to Roske.Aside from Justice Kavanaugh, no other justice would need to recuse. In In re Neagle (1890), the Supreme Court heard a dispute related to the attempted assassination of Justice Stephen Field after California charged the deputy marshal guarding him with murder. On remand, the court that reverses this monstrous decision must order the case reassigned to another judge.Boardman, a federal public defender for more than a decade, has shown she is incapable of issuing a sentence that will deter similar conduct. If this sentence stands, Roske will be out in about four years, given the time he has already served. Justice Kavanaugh and his family, however, will be impacted for the rest of their lives. And in Boardmans court, it is abundantly clear that the lives of conservative justices do not matter nearly as much as a happy gender identity ending. The House must begin an impeachment inquiry into Judge Boardman immediately.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FROM MIKE DAVIS

Vaccine debate heats up as officials weigh splitting combined MMR into single doses
A top health official has suggested breaking up the combination measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine. In response to President Trumps recent statement warning about pregnant women's use of Tylenol, Health and Human Services (HHS) Deputy Secretary Jim ONeill wrote the following in an Oct. 6 post on X."I call on vaccine manufacturers to develop safe monovalent vaccines to replace the combined MMR and break up the MMR shot into three totally separate shots."DR. MARC SIEGEL: WITH VACCINES, PERSONAL CHOICE ENDS WHERE COMMUNITY RISK BEGINSThis request follows the CDCs recent pullback on COVID-19 vaccine recommendations, as the agency noted that it should be an individualized decision with a healthcare provider in accordance with the HHS vaccine advisory panel.A spokesperson for HHS provided the below statement to Fox News Digital."Deputy Secretary ONeill agrees with President Trump that immunizations for measles, mumps and rubella would be best administered as three separate vaccines. Standalone vaccinations can potentially reduce the risk of side effects and can maximize parental choice in childhood immunizations."BEST TIME TO GET THE FLU VACCINE THIS FALL AS INFLUENZA SEASON APPROACHESHHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has recently linked vaccines to autism in a wider effort to review vaccine schedules and requirements in the U.S.In a statement sent to Fox News Digital, MMR vaccine maker and biopharmaceutical company Merck responded to O'Neills call."There is no published scientific evidence that shows any benefit in separating the combination MMR vaccine into three individual shots," the company wrote."Use of the individual components of combination vaccines increases the number of injections for the individual and may result in delayed or missed immunizations."CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR HEALTH NEWSLETTERMerck added that the development of MMR II Mercks version of the vaccine was based on the input of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), professional societies, scientific leaders, and customers to meet the "public health and medical need for vaccination against measles, mumps and rubella.""Evidence suggests that use of combination vaccines improves childhood vaccination outcomes, increasing both completion (receipt of all recommended doses) and compliance (age-appropriate administration) rates," they said."There are no approved U.S. monovalent measles, mumps and rubella single antigen vaccines."Fox News senior medical analyst Dr. Marc Siegel agreed that the MMR vaccine should not be separated."The MMR vaccine should not be separated because it has been tested this way for decades and found to be completely safe and efficacious," he said in an interview with Fox News Digital.
