WWW.FOXNEWS.COMWoman accused of treating thousands of patients as a fake nurseAuthorities in Florida arrested a Palm Coast woman who allegedly posed as a nurse and provided care to thousands of patients despite lacking the proper credentials. The Flagler County Sheriffs Office (FCSO) confirmed that 29-year-old Autumn Bardisa was taken into custody at her home while dressed in medical scrubs in a statement released on the department's Facebook page. She is accused of presenting herself as a licensed nurse and administering medical care to more than 4,400 people between June 2024 and January 2025.Investigators determined Bardisa never held a valid nursing license during that time. She had been employed at AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway beginning in July 2023, but her contract was terminated in January 2025 due to internal concerns.PENNSYLVANIA WOMAN ALLEGEDLY USED 10 DIFFERENT ALIASES TO POSE AS NURSE ACROSS MULTIPLE FACILITIESThe arrest capped a seven-month probe conducted by state and federal health agencies. Hospital officials reported that Bardisa had falsely assumed the identity of a registered nurse by using another individuals license number and submitting fabricated documents to secure her position as an advanced nurse technician.Officials noted that Bardisa originally applied for the job under the title of "education first" registered nurse, a designation for individuals who have completed nursing education but havent passed the national licensing exam. Later, she allegedly claimed she had passed the exam and submitted a license number belonging to a nurse who shared her first name but had a different last name.FLORIDA A&M ATHLETIC DIRECTOR TURNS HERSELF IN TO POLICE OVER $24K THEFT ALLEGATIONS FROM PREVIOUS JOBBardisa told the hospital she had recently married and changed her last name, which she used to justify the discrepancy. When asked to provide her marriage certificate, she never complied, investigators said.Despite failing to verify her identity, Bardisa was reportedly offered a promotion in January 2025. This raised flags among coworkers, one of whom checked the status of her license and found that Bardisa only held an expired certified nursing assistant license. The discovery was then brought to the attention of hospital administrators.Further investigation revealed Bardisa had never submitted documentation to confirm her identity. As a result, AdventHealth ended her contract and alerted the sheriffs office, prompting a wider criminal inquiry. The investigation, conducted alongside the Florida Department of Health and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, included interviews with hospital staff and the nurse whose license Bardisa had allegedly used. Authorities said the two women had attended the same nursing school but were not personally acquainted.VIRGINIA WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER IMPERSONATING A NURSE AND WORKING AT MULTIPLE CALIFORNIA HOSPITALS: POLICEBardisa faces seven felony counts of practicing medicine without a license and seven counts of identity fraud. She is being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on $70,000 bond.Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly described the case as one of the most disturbing incidents of medical fraud his office has investigated."This woman potentially put thousands of lives at risk by pretending to be someone she was not and violating the trust of patients, their families, AdventHealth and an entire medical community," he said. "Thanks to great investigative work between our detectives and State Attorney, Florida's 7th Circuit R.J. Larizzas Office and AdventHealth, along with our state and federal partners, shell now be held accountable for her reckless and dangerous actions."Officials said anyone who believes they may be a victim of Bardisa should contact the FCSO by email at fakenursecase@flaglersheriff.com.Fox News Digital reached out to AdventHealth for comment but did not immediately receive a response.0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 23 Views 0 önizleme

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMLA Times columnist begs Los Angeles to pull out of hosting the 2028 Olympics because of Trump's involvementA Los Angeles Times columnist urged the city of L.A. to abandon the 2028 Olympics over concerns about President Donald Trumps involvement. In a new column for the outlet, Gustavo Arellano lamented that Trump will be heading the task force in charge of the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and warned the president would use the spectacle and the city for his own agenda."Thats why L.A. needs to withdraw from hosting the Olympics the sooner the better," Arellano wrote.Arellano said when Los Angeles 2028, the group tasked with organizing the Olympics in the city, chair Casey Wasserman announced Trump as head of the task force, it was like him offering the city a "giant whoopi cushion."TRACKING THE TRANS ATHLETE HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS CONTROVERSIES SHAKING THE NATION OVER THE LAST YEARThe columnist went on to trash other top officials from the Trump administration who were present at the announcement."On Trumps right was a rash of L.A. haters, some of whom played a prominent role in Southern Californias summer of deportations, including Vice President JD Vance and Department of Homeland Security head Kristi Noem," he wrote. "Not present, but hailed by Trump during the presser as an MVP candidate, was Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, who has made it his lifes mission to crush the multicultural metropolis that birthed him."Wassermans praise for Trump was, according to Arellano, nothing short of groveling."I havent seen such a suck-up since the last time I vacuumed my dads pool," he wrote. "And you definitely dont entrust kiss a-- like Wasserman Im still not sure what he did to deserve his powerful LA28 gig, except being the grandson of the late Hollywood mogul Lew Wasserman with calming down someone like Trump."60 MINUTES KAMALA HARRIS INTERVIEW AT THE CENTER OF TRUMP'S CBS LAWSUIT RECEIVES EMMY NOMINATIONArellano noted how the federal government was always going to be involved with hosting the Olympic Games but said that the fact that Trump is part of it makes it problematic."The federal government was always going to play a role in providing security for the 2028 Olympics, just as it has for previous Games in the U.S. But Trump, as the head of the task force, now gets to personally oversee our own siege," he wrote. "With the Games happening in a presidential election year, Trump would love nothing more than to traipse around an L.A. radically transformed by his deportation blitzkrieg to proclaim his mission accomplished and broadcast his conquest to the world."He also warned that Trump would use the next three years of Olympics prep to "humiliate blue L.A. at every chance."Arellano asked readers if they wanted to give Trump and his "goon squad" more opportunities to make life "miserable" in Los Angeles. He said he'd rather forego the city hosting the games because "I dont want my money going toward something that Trump will use to bolster his noxious legacy. Im not going to cheer on Wasserman as he chums up Trump while la migra continues to terrorize L.A., possibly for months, if not years.""La Migra" is a Spanish language term, often used in slang, that refers to U.S. immigration enforcement agencies, primarily U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the U.S. Border Patrol.CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE OF MEDIA AND CULTURE"I dont want to support an event where footage of an occupied L.A. might be as front and center as the Coliseum or badminton. WWW.FOXNEWS.COMZoo's request for donations of pets to be fed to predatory animals draws PETA blowbackA zoo in Europe is inviting the public to turn unwanted pets into prey, calling for donations of fluffy rabbits and family guinea pigs to be euthanized and fed to its predator residents. The Aalborg Zoo in Denmark announced the program in a Facebook post, sparking public uproar, including the ire of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)."If you have an animal that, for various reasons, needs to be rehomed, you are welcome to donate it to us. The animals are humanely euthanized by trained staff and then used as feed," the zoo wrote in the social media post. "In this way, nothing goes to waste and we ensure natural behavior, proper nutrition, and well-being for our predators."The zoo said private individuals and businesses can donate chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs, which organizers said make up an important part of predators' diets.PETA CALLS MAINE LOBSTER FESTIVAL 'EGREGIOUSLY CRUEL' IN NEW LAWSUIT AGAINST CITYSpecifically, the zoo said the Eurasian lynx requires "whole" prey animals that resemble what it would naturally hunt in the wild."In zoos, we have a responsibility to replicate the animals natural food chain for the sake of both animal welfare and professional integrity," employees wrote in the post. The zoo is also accepting horses, noting owners "can join us all the way if you wish."HUNDREDS OF ANIMALS FLEE CARTEL CHAOS, VIOLENCE AFTER WILDLIFE REFUGE FACED WITH THREATSPETA weighed in on the controversial initiative, saying there is nothing "natural" about the donation request."Its not natural behaviour for predators from Asia, who roam and hunt for their meals, to be fed companion animals who originated in South America," PETA wrote in an online news release. "Companion animals are never needed to imitate the natural food chain of the [zoos] animals (as an Aalborg Zoo spokesperson described the program)."BEARS ESCAPE WILDLIFE PARK ENCLOSURE AND FEAST ON WEEK'S WORTH OF HONEYPETA added if the Aalborg Zoo "truly cares about animals," it should focus on protecting species in their natural habitats. The zoo later turned off the comments on its Facebook post detailing the program, citing "significant international interest.""We understand that the post evokes emotions and interest, but hateful and malicious rhetoric is unnecessary and we encourage keeping a respectful tone," leadership wrote. "Were happy to elaborate and answer questions via private messages or email."The Aalborg Zoo and PETA did not immediately respond to Fox News Digitals request for comment.0 Yorumlar 0 hisse senetleri 36 Views 0 önizleme
