Networks bury explosive Russiagate revelations after they hyped the hoax
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is a former Democratic congresswoman from Hawaii now serving in the Trump administration. She ran for president as a Democrat in 2020. If the parties and election results were reversed, and a Republican congresswoman had joined the Kamala Harris administration, the liberal media elites would have found her courageous and fascinating, like a Liz Cheney-style figure. So, when Gabbard released new documents showing the Obama administration manufactured intelligence to frame incoming President Donald Trump as the illegitimate beneficiary of Russian collusion in the 2016 election, the media treated it like toxic waste. Any press event designed to please Trump was automatically dismissed as the craven act of a loyalist kissing up to the Big Boss. The nightly newscasts of ABC and NBC skipped it. CBS gave it 41 seconds. The next day, CBS and NBC reported on Gabbard suspiciously on the morning shows. NBCs Garrett Haake denounced "Tulsi Gabbard attempting to rewrite the history of Russia's 2016 election interference, accusing former President Obama without evidence of manipulating intelligence." She brought evidence, and they still scream "without evidence."CNN HOSTS DISMISS NEW RUSSIAGATE EVIDENCE AS 'DISTRACTION' FROM EPSTEIN FILES: SHOULDN'T 'EVEN BE REPEATING'When Team Trump releases old documents, its partisan. Its weaponized. Its a desperate distraction. When the Democrat elites and the media conspired to release damaging allegations about Trump, its presented to the public as nonpartisan, as democracy in action, and anything but a distraction. Its the main event. Its bait for the Emmys, the Peabody Awards and the Pulitzer Prizes. For Democratic politicians, the media engage in damage control. For Republicans, their goal is damage. Damaging Republicans is what "trusted, fact-based, independent journalists" do.Scratch a journalist, and theyll tell you its so politically clumsy (and Trumpy) for documents to be released on television in the White House briefing room by a Trump official. When the Democrats conspired to ruin Trump, they leaked it quietly to those "independent" journalists, who then didnt want to mention they received dirt from PR firms like Fusion GPS, that were paid by Hillary Clintons campaign to distribute false information, like the junk contained in the "Steele dossier." The networks briefly touched on the Hillary connection when it came out, and quickly moved on, like that was a trifling matter. Theres no need to obsess over the nasty sausage they were making.NEW RUSSIAGATE EVIDENCE 'DIRECTLY POINT TO' OBAMA, DOJ WILL DECIDE 'CRIMINAL IMPLICATIONS': GABBARDLeftist journalists use anonymous sources to disguise the very partisan nature of the leakers, and there was a ton of surfing on anonymous sources in the tidal wave of anti-Trump journalism. The broadcast networks easily lapped up slime from "mainstream" sources like The New York Times or The Atlantic. These broadcast "institutions" are not about to unravel a Russian-collusion narrative that they relentlessly promoted during Trump's first term. We counted 2,284 minutes of Russiagate coverage on the ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts alone from 2017 to 2019. Even if then-FBI Director Robert Mueller never indicted Trump for collusion, it was a very persistent black cloud over everything Team Trump was trying to accomplish in his first term.In the first months of 2017, it was the dominant Trump story. When Trump held a press conference that February and denounced the press, NBCs Chuck Todd tweeted, "This not a laughing matter.I'm sorry, delegitimizing the press is un-American." He later added, "Press bashing may feel good to folks but when it's done by people in power, it's corrosive. Take off your partisan hats for a second."LEGACY MEDIA OUTLETS LARGELY SILENT ON TULSI GABBARD'S BOMBSHELL OBAMA ADMINISTRATION CLAIMSThe networks dont take off their partisan hats for a second. They pretend only their critics look like partisans.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONThe networks didnt want to focus on Trumps accomplishments in his first term, and not just because successes in making conservative public policy arent "accomplishments" in their eyes. They wanted Trump to be best known for selling out America to Russian President Vladimir Putin, and laying out the scenario that the end of his presidency could occur at any moment.Their wishful thinking is often defined as "news." It doesnt sound like the "nightly news." Its sounds like a nightly narrative, carefully constructed for political effect. It was a major part of Trumps evening news coverage being around 90% negative every month.Theres any number of "gems" from the medias anti-Trump collusion campaign. On ABCs "The View" in 2017, co-host Sunny Hostin was mourning Hillary Clintons defeat: "What cost her the election, in my humble opinion is Russias hacking," and racism she cited what CNNs Van Jones called a "whitelash."On ABCs "This Week" in 2018, New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg proclaimed, "We dont know if Putin is his handler, his hero or his co-conspirator, but its obviously where his loyalty lies as opposed to lying with the American people."Now, when Trump accuses Obama of treason in the Russia matter, "The View" co-host Joy Behar demanded to know: "Why can't Obama sue Trump for defamation of character?" But Behar and Hostin have repeatedly accused Trump of treason over the last five years. There it is again: when we call you treasonous, its not defamatory.CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM TIM GRAHAM

'Happy Face Killer' wants Bryan Kohberger as a potential cellmate to solve 'security issues'
Keith Jesperson, the Happy Face serial killer, wants Bryan Kohberger to spend the rest of his life in the same Oregon prison he's stuck in, claiming it will be safer for the Idaho student murderer."His best hope is to be transfered (sic) to here, the max prison in Oregon to be away from those who want to make a name for themselves by killing him," Jesperson wrote in a note to Keith Rovere, a former prison minister and podcaster who shared it with Fox News Digital."This prison gets inmates from other states in order to protect them from the drama."Jesperson, a former truck driver, killed at least eight women in the 1990s and picked up the nickname for his habit of drawing smiley faces on letters to the media and investigators. He's also known to trade letters with other high-profile killers and has claimed to have committed dozens more murders, although authorities don't believe him.BRYAN KOHBERGER'S WEIRD BEHAVIOR AND SOCIAL AWKWARDNESS MAY MAKE HIM BIGGER TARGET THAN JEFFREY DAHMER"I will write to the Idaho Department of Corrections to tell them to consider sending Kohberger here to save them the high-risk security issues in protecting him in Idaho," Jesperson wrote in another note.Rovere, host of "The Lighter Side of True Crime," told Fox News Digital Kohberger may have a hard time fitting in at any prison because he lacks two key qualities, "street smarts and prison smarts."Kohberger's social awkwardness came up repeatedly in his court battles and in the media before a surprise plea deal earlier this month. He avoided the death penalty and will serve life in prison with no chance of parole for the murders of Madison Mogen, 21, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20.BRYAN KOHBERGER PLEADED GUILTY TO IDAHO STUDENT MURDERS, BUT THESE KEY QUESTIONS REMAIN UNANSWEREDThe Idaho students' killer is expected to spend at least a few weeks in isolation before details of his long-term housing at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution in Kuna are finalized.Jesperson is serving multiple life sentences at the Oregon State Penitentiary in Salem, about 475 miles from Kuna. And there's a precedent for his claim. Oregon is part of a group of western states that have an agreement to house prisoners across state lines if there are concerns about safety, special housing needs or overcrowding. Idaho, however, is not part of the pact.NEWLY RELEASED DOCUMENTS REVEAL IDAHO KILLER'S DISTURBING BEHAVIOR BEFORE CAMPUS MURDERSAuthorities in the state have given no public indication they were even considering such a move."The safety and security of staff and the population are a priority in everything IDOC does, including placement," said Blake Lopez, public information officer for the Idaho Department of Correction.Leading up to the trial, a doctor for the defense diagnosed Kohberger with autism, and his lawyers described quirky personality traits, a staring problem, "atypical eye contact, including an intense gaze" and his difficulty carrying on normal conversations. He sat rigidly in court for most of his hearings and stared at the victims' relatives as they delivered impact statements this week, occasionally raising a smirk, a half nod or swiveling in his seat only slightly.FOLLOW THE FOX TRUE CRIME TEAM ON XBRYAN KOHBERGER TRADED DEATH PENALTY FOR LIFE SENTENCE THAT COULD STILL END VIOLENTLY BEHIND BARSWhile asserting that Kohberger has a "high baseline intelligence," his lawyers wrote to the court that he "exhibits slow verbal processing and weaknesses in certain areas of executive functioning, including cognitive flexibility and organizational approach.""In the general population, he will be singled out right away to be made a target for those who see him as weak for the crimes of that kind of murder," Jesperson wrote. "Most likely, Idaho will put him in protective custody like [Jeffrey] Dahmer. But we all know how that ended."Dahmer was a cannibalistic serial killer and rapist who targeted men and boys between 1978 and 1991. In 1994, a fellow inmate named Christopher Scarver beat him to death in a Wisconsin prison. Dahmer was 34 years old when he died. Kohberger is 30.GET REAL-TIME UPDATES DIRECTLY ON THE TRUE CRIME HUBSIGN UP TO GET THE TRUE CRIME NEWSLETTERScarver told the New York Post in 2015 that he was disgusted by the serial killer and believes guards left them unattended together just to give him an opportunity to kill Dahmer with a metal bar from a weight room. The IDOC said earlier this week that Kohberger would be screened and evaluated before authorities would determine appropriate housing and security measures."Once in IDOC custody, the person goes through a Reception and Diagnostic Unit (RDU) process to evaluate their needs and determine appropriate housing placement; this process takes 7-14 days," a spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "We wait until a person completes RDU to determine their classification, housing placement and privileges."Kohberger has a high profile. His crime shocked the country and much of the world due to the brutality and randomness and the weeks-long search for a suspect who primarily got caught because he left only one piece of evidence, a knife sheath with his DNA on alongside Mogen's body.He had no known connection to the victims, a group of young friends who had done him no wrong. And he's shown no remorse or any emotion whatsoever in 2 years of court appearances.Inmates who have killed women and children are often singled out behind bars, insiders tell Fox News Digital. Three of the four Idaho victims were also asleep during the attack, making it even more cowardly. And Kohberger's social awkwardness is expected to rub other prisoners the wrong way.

Texas man sues California doctor in unprecedented abortion pill case over unborn childs alleged murder
A Texas man has filed a landmark federal wrongful death lawsuit against a California abortion provider, alleging the physician "murdered" his unborn children by mailing abortion pills across state lines. The case, Rodriguez v. Coeytaux, marks the first of its kind to test how far pro-life litigants can go to sidestep blue state abortion shield laws using century-old federal statutes and Texas civil code.Filed July 20 in the Southern District of Texas, the lawsuit accuses Dr. Remy Coeytaux of aiding illegal self-managed abortions in 2024, by mailing abortion-inducing drugs to Galveston County, Texas, where they were allegedly used to end two pregnancies.Plaintiff Jerry Rodriguez claims his girlfriends estranged husband purchased the pills from Coeytaux through a Venmo transaction and pressured her to take them, ending two pregnancies Rodriguez says were his.FEDERAL JUDGE PARTIALLY BLOCKS LAW BANNING ADULTS FROM HELPING MINORS GET OUT-OF-STATE ABORTIONSAt the heart of the suit is an alleged $150 Venmo payment to "Remy Coeytaux MD PC" labeled "Aed axes," followed by his girlfriend's name. The lawsuit states Rodriguez interprets "Aed axes" to be a phonetic spelling of "Aid Access," a network that helps women obtain abortion pills.Rodriguez alleges the first abortion occurred in September 2024, at the home of his girlfriend's mother, and the second in January 2025, at the home of her estranged husband. Ultrasound images from January, attached as Exhibit 2, are offered as proof of a second pregnancy. According to the complaint, the baby was a boy.Rodriguez is seeking over $75,000 in damages, certification of a national class of "fathers of unborn children," and a permanent injunction barring Coeytaux from mailing abortion drugs in violation of state or federal law.MEDICAL GROUPS URGE KENNEDY, FDA TO REEXAMINE BROAD APPROVAL OF ABORTION DRUGSThe complaint's legal foundation has drawn attention. The lawsuit revives the long-dormant Comstock Act, an 1873 federal anti-obscenity law banning the mailing of abortion-related materials. Though unenforced for over a century, the Comstock Act remains on the books.Jonathan Mitchell, the attorney behind Texass heartbeat law (SB8), represents Rodriguez in the case. He argues that Dr. Remy Coeytaux violated 18 U.S.C. 1461 and 1462, the federal Comstock Act, by knowingly using the mail to send abortion-inducing drugs from California to Texas. The suit also alleges Coeytaux committed felony murder under Texas Penal Code 19.02 by knowingly aiding an illegal abortion. It cites multiple violations of Texas law, including statutes that require abortion drugs to be administered only by in-state physicians, after informed consent and a mandatory ultrasound, and only at licensed abortion facilities. Coeytaux, who is not licensed in Texas, allegedly met none of those requirements.PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT CONFRONTS HIGH ABORTION RATES THREE YEARS LATER AFTER DOBBSThe case is already being seen as a strategic test of blue state abortion shield laws. States like California, New York, and Washington have passed measures to protect their abortion providers from legal risks when treating out-of-state patients. But Rodriguezs legal team avoided those roadblocks by filing a civil wrongful death suit directly in federal court, a move some legal scholars say could offer a new route for anti-abortion plaintiffs to reach providers beyond their own states borders. As of Friday, court records show Coeytaux had not filed a response to the complaint, and he has not made any public statements about the case.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPPro-abortion groups are expected to contest both the interpretation of the Comstock Act and the standing of private citizens to bring wrongful death claims tied to out-of-state telehealth prescriptions. If the case survives early procedural hurdles, it may offer a new template for pro-life litigants to target the supply chain of abortion pills three years after Dobbs was decided at the Supreme Court.Coeytaux did not immediately respond to Fox News Digitals request for comment.

DNI Tulsi Gabbard declassified Trump-Russia docs: Heres what they say
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified a slew of documents this month, revealing that Obama administration officials "manufactured" intelligence to push the Trump-Russia collusion narrative.Heres a look at the newly declassified records:Documents revealed that in the months leading up to the November 2016 election, the intelligence community consistently assessed that Russia was "probably not trying to influence the election by using cyber means."One instance was on Dec. 7, 2016, weeks after the election. Then-Director of National Intelligence James Clappers talking points stated, "Foreign adversaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the U.S. presidential election outcome."Fox News Digital obtained a declassified copy of the Presidential Daily Brief, which was prepared by the Department of Homeland Security, with reporting from the CIA, Defense Intelligence Agency, FBI, National Security Agency, Department of Homeland Security, State Department and open sources, for Obama, dated Dec. 8, 2016."We assess that Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent U.S. election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure," the Presidential Daily Brief stated. "Russian Government-affiliated actors most likely compromised an Illinois voter registration database and unsuccessfully attempted the same in other states."But the brief stated that it was "highly unlikely" the effort "would have resulted in altering any states official vote result.""Criminal activity also failed to reach the scale and sophistication necessary to change election outcomes," it stated. The brief noted that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence assessed that any Russian activities "probably were intended to cause psychological effects, such as undermining the credibility of the election process and candidates."The brief stated that cyber criminals "tried to steal data and to interrupt election processes by targeting election infrastructure, but these actions did not achieve a notable disruptive effect."Fox News Digital obtained declassified, but redacted, communications from the FBI in the Presidential Daily Brief, stating that it "should not go forward until the FBI" had shared its "concerns."Those communications revealed that the FBI drafted a "dissent" to the original Presidential Daily Brief.OBAMA ADMIN 'MANUFACTURED' INTELLIGENCE TO CREATE 2016 RUSSIAN ELECTION INTERFERENCE NARRATIVE, DOCUMENTS SHOWThe communications revealed that the brief was expected to be published Dec. 9, 2016, the following day, but later communications revealed the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, "based on some new guidance," decided to "push back publication" of the Presidential Daily Brief."It will not run tomorrow and is not likely to run until next week," wrote the deputy director of the Presidential Daily Brief at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, whose name is redacted. The following day, Dec. 9, 2016, a meeting convened in the White House Situation Room, with the subject line starting: "Summary of Conclusions for PC Meeting on a Sensitive Topic (REDACTED.)"The meeting included top officials in the National Security Council, Clapper, then-CIA Director John Brennan, then-National Security Advisor Susan Rice, then-Secretary of State John Kerry, then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, then-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, among others, to discuss Russia. The declassified meeting record, obtained by Fox News Digital, revealed that principals "agreed to recommend sanctioning of certain members of the Russian military intelligence and foreign intelligence chains of command responsible for cyber operations as a response to cyber activity that attempted to influence or interfere with U.S. elections, if such activity meets the requirements" from an executive order that demanded the blocking of property belonging to people engaged in cyber activities. After the meeting, according to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Clappers executive assistant emailed intelligence community leaders tasking them to create a new intelligence community assessment "per the presidents request" that detailed the "tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.""ODNI will lead this effort with participation from CIA, FBI, NSA, and DHS," the record states.Later, Obama officials "leaked false statements to media outlets" claiming that "Russia has attempted through cyber means to interfere in, if not actively influence, the outcome of an election."By Jan. 6, 2017, a new Intelligence Community Assessment was released that, according to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, "directly contradicted the IC assessments that were made throughout the previous six months."Intelligence officials told Fox News Digital that the ICA was "politicized" because it "suppressed intelligence from before and after the election showing Russia lacked intent and capability to hack the 2016 election."Officials also said it deceived the American public "by claiming the IC made no assessment on the impact of Russian activities," when the intelligence community "did, in fact, assess for impact.""The unpublished December PDB stated clearly that Russia did not impact the election through cyber hacks on the election,"an official told Fox News Digital.FBI LAUNCHES CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS OF JOHN BRENNAN, JAMES COMEY: DOJ SOURCESThe official also said the ICA had assessed that "Russia was responsible for leaking data from the DNC and DCCC," while"failing to mention that FBI and NSA previously expressed low confidence in this attribution."Officials said the intelligence was "politicized" and then "used as the basis for countless smears seeking to delegitimize President Trumps victory, the years-long Mueller investigation, two Congressional impeachments, high level officials being investigated, arrested, and thrown in jail, heightened US-Russia tensions, and more."A report prepared by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence in 2020 said the intelligence community did not have any direct informationthat Russian President Vladimir Putin wanted to help elect Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential election, but, at the "unusual" direction of then-President Barack Obama, published "potentially biased" or "implausible" intelligence suggesting otherwise. The report, based on an investigation launched by former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., was dated Sept. 18, 2020. At the time of the publication of the report, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., was the chairman of the committee. The report has never before been released to the public and instead has remained highly classified within the intelligence community.Fox News Digital obtained the "fully-sourced limited-access investigation report that was drafted and stored in a limited-access vault at CIA Headquarters." The report includes some redactions.BRENNAN DIRECTED PUBLICATION OF 'IMPLAUSIBLE' REPORTS CLAIMING PUTIN PREFERRED TRUMP IN 2016, HOUSE FOUNDThe committee focused on the creation of the Intelligence Community Assessment of 2017, in which then-CIA Director John Brennan pushed for the inclusion of the now-discredited anti-Trump dossier despite knowing it was based largely on "internet rumor," as Fox News Digital previously reported.According to the report, the ICA was a "high-profile product ordered by the President, directed by senior IC agency heads, and created by just five CIA analysts, using one principal drafter.""Production of the ICA was subject to unusual directives from the President and senior political appointees, and particularly DCIA," the report states. "The draft was not properly coordinated within CIA or the IC, ensuring it would be published without significant challenges to its conclusions."The committee found that the five CIA analysts and drafter "rushed" the ICAs production "in order to publish two weeks before President-elect Trump was sworn-in.""Hurried coordination and limited access to the draft reduced opportunities for the IC to discover misquoting of sources and other tradecraft concerns," the report states. The report states that Brennan "ordered the post-election publication of 15 reports containing previously collected but unpublished intelligence, three of which were substandard containing information that was unclear, of uncertain origin, potentially biased, or implausible and those became foundational sources for the ICA judgements that Putin preferred Trump over Clinton.""The ICA misrepresented these reports as reliable, without mentioning their significant underlying flaws," the committee found."One scant, unclear, and unverifiable fragment of a sentence from one of the substandard reports constitutes the only classified information cited to suggest Putin aspired to help Trump win," the report states, adding that the ICA "ignored or selectively quoted reliable intelligence reports that challenged and in some cases undermined judgments that Putin sought to elect Trump."The report also states that the ICA "failed to consider plausible alternative explanations of Putins intentions indicated by reliable intelligence and observed Russian actions."The committee also found that two senior CIA officers warned Brennan that "we dont have direct information that Putin wanted to get Trump elected."Despite those warnings, the Obama administration moved to publish the ICA.The ICA "did not cite any report where Putin directly indicated helping Trump win was the objective."The ICA, according to the report, excluded "significant intelligence" and "ignored or selectively quoted" reliable intelligence in an effort to push the Russia narrative. The report also includes intelligence from a longtime Putin confidant who explained to investigators that "Putin told him he did not care who won the election," and that Putin "had often outlined the weaknesses of both major candidates."The report also states that the ICA omitted context showing that the claim that Putin preferred Trump was "implausible if not ridiculous."The committee also found that the ICA suppressed intelligence that showed that Russia was actually planning for a Hillary Clinton victory because "they knew where (she) stood" and believed Russia "could work with her."The committee also noted that the ICA "did not address why Putin chose not to leak more discrediting material on Clinton, even as polls tightened in the final weeks of the election."The committee also found that the ICA suppressed intelligence showing that Putin was "not only demonstrating a clear lack of concern for Trumps election fate," but also indicated "that he preferred to see Secretary Clinton elected, knowing she would be a more vulnerable President."One section of the declassified House Intelligence Committee report states that the material in Putins possession included Russian intelligence on Democratic National Committee information allegedly showing that senior Democratic leaders found Clintons health to be "extraordinarily alarming.""As of September 2016, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service had DNC information that President Obama and Party leaders found the state of Secretary Clintons health to be extraordinarily alarming, and felt it could have serious negative impact on her election prospects," the report states. "Her health information was being kept in strictest secrecy and even close advisors were not being fully informed."The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service also allegedly had DNC communications that showed that "Clinton was suffering from intensified psycho-emotional problems, including uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness.'""Clinton was placed on a daily regimen of heavy tranquilizers and while afraid of losing, she remained obsessed with a thirst for power," the report states. The Russians also allegedly had information that Clinton "suffered from Type 2 diabetes, Ischemic heart disease, deep vein thrombosis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease."HILLARY CLINTON AIDE DISMISSES TULSI GABBARD'S CLAIMS AS 'RIDICULOUS'The Russians also allegedly possessed a "campaign email discussing a plan approved by Secretary Clinton to link Putin and Russian hackers to candidate Trump in order to distract the American public from the Clinton email server scandal."Gabbard, during the White House press briefing Wednesday, said there were "high-level DNC emails that detailed evidence of Hillary's, quote, psycho-emotional problems, uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression and cheerfulness, and that then-Secretary Clinton was allegedly on a daily regimen of heavy tranquilizers."A tranquilizer is a drug used to reduce mental disturbance, such as anxiety and tension. Tranquilizers are typically prescribed to individuals suffering from anxiety, sleep disturbances and related conditions affecting their mental and physical health.A Clinton aide dismissed the claims as "ridiculous."Neither Clinton nor Obama responded to Fox News Digital's requests for comment.

Hamas pushes back on Trump and Witkoff's criticisms, demands US pressure Israel
Hamas rejected criticism from top U.S. officials after ceasefire talks with Israel broke down earlier in the week."We are appalled by the statements of U.S. President Trump and earlier by U.S. special envoy Witkoff, which contradict the mediators' assessment of Hamas' position and are inconsistent with the actual progress of negotiations that had been acknowledged by mediators, particularly Qatar and Egypt, as they expressed satisfaction and appreciation for our serious and constructive stance," Izzat Al-Rishq, member of Hamas Movements Political Bureau, said in a statement.Al-Rishq went on to claim that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahus government was "the real obstructionist to all agreements," accusing Israeli officials of continuing to "put up obstacles, deceive, and evade commitments." He then demanded that the U.S. put more pressure on Israel "to seriously engage in ending the aggression and achieving a prisoner exchange deal," presumably referring to the remaining hostages in Gaza and Palestinians in Israeli prisons.US PULLS TEAM FROM CEASEFIRE TALKS IN QATAR AFTER ISRAEL DOES THE SAME, CLAIMING HAMAS IS ACTING IN BAD FAITHThe Trump administration has spent months trying to end the war between Israel and Hamas, with no resolution in sight.Hopes for a ceasefire in Gaza dimmed further after the U.S. pulled its delegation out of Qatar. U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff said in a statement that this was because Hamas response to negotiations showed "a lack of desire to reach a ceasefire in Gaza.""While the mediators have made a great effort, Hamas does not appear to be coordinated or acting in good faith. We will now consider alternative options to bring the hostages home and try to create a more stable environment for the people of Gaza," Witkoff said in a statement Thursday.Witkoff added that it was a "shame" Hamas has acted in such a "selfish way" and that the U.S. stands resolute in its efforts to bring permanent peace to the region.HAMAS 'HARDENS' STANCE IN CEASEFIRE TALKS AS NETANYAHU RECALLS NEGOTIATION TEAMOn the same day the U.S. announced its negotiators would leave Qatar, Netanyahus office said the Israeli team would also withdraw, citing Hamas response.President Donald Trump expressed his disappointment in Hamas handling of the negotiations while speaking with press outside the White House on Friday. He speculated that Hamas did not want to make a deal because "they know what happens after you get the final hostages" out of Gaza."Hamas didnt really want to make a deal. I think they want to die, and its very, very bad," Trump said. "It got to be to a point where youre going to have to finish the job."Qatar and Egypt, which have acted as mediators in the talks, issued a joint statement on Friday in which the countries confirmed they would continue to work on securing a ceasefire."The two countries, in partnership with the United States of America, reaffirm their commitment to continuing efforts toward reaching a comprehensive agreement for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip," Qatar and Egypts joint statement read. While the breakdown of negotiations is a clear setback, talks are expected to resume next week, according to Reuters, which cited Egyptian state-affiliated Al Qahera News TV.Fox News Digitals Alec Schemmel contributed to this report.
