Federal court strikes down Trump tariffs as illegal under federal law in appeals ruling
A federal appeals court has ruled that most of President Donald Trump's tariffs are illegal."We affirm the CITs holding that the Trafficking and Reciprocal Tariffs imposed by the Challenged Executive Orders exceed the authority delegated to the President by IEEPAs text," the opinion from the Washington-based U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit states.
