He has made a point to praise the Lord before and after Ravens games.He said in 2023 upon signing a new contract with the Ravens that he was unconcerned with what outsiders were talking about him while he was negotiating the new deal."It is not about what people say. It is about believing in yourself at the end of the day," he said at the time, via Sports Spectrum. "Keeping God first because without Him, there is no Lamar Jackson.
