Small plane goes down at New Jersey airport in 'mass casualty' emergency
A skydiving airplane crashed Wednesday after it went off the end of a runway at a New Jersey airport, officials said.A Cessna 208B was departing Cross Keys Airport in Monroe Township at around 5:30 p.m. when the incident happened, a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) spokesperson told Fox News Digital.The aircraft was carrying 15 people on board, the FAA said.SMALL PLANE CRASHES WHILE LANDING AT MARYLAND AIRPORT; FAA INVESTIGATINGGloucester County Emergency Management said multiple agencies were assisting with the "mass casualty incident" at the airport.Five people who were injured were expected to be transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, Wendy Marano, a spokesperson for the hospital, told Fox Philadelphia.The airport serves mostly private passenger planes. Fox News Digital has reached out to the agency.Gloucester County OEM was asking people to avoid the area.
