Exclusive: Rubio says US-Israel alliance remains firm as he heads to Qatar amid backlash over Doha strikes
JERUSALEM: Secretary of State Marco Rubio insists the U.S. relationship with Israel remains unchanged, despite the blowback over Israels strike targeting Hamas negotiators in Qatar last week."We're going to continue to be strong allies and partners," Rubio vowed in an exclusive and wide-ranging interview with Fox News in Jerusalem. "As the president said, he wasn't happy with the way things went down. That doesn't mean we're going [to] stop being their partner and their ally."Rubio told Fox News he is now heading to Doha on Tuesday where hell urge Qatar to continue playing a "constructive role" in ending the war in Gaza and securing the release of hostages still being held by Hamas.RUBIO SAYS VISA HOLDERS SHOULD BE DEPORTED IF THEY CELEBRATE CHARLIE KIRKS KILLING"We're visiting again with them very shortly here in the next day as well," Rubio said. "We understand they're upset about it. We understand the Israeli position on it. Irrespective of that, we still have hostages that we want released. We still have a Hamas that needs to be defeated or eradicated or removed so that we can get to the peace that everybody says they want."Rubios trip to Qatar, a major non-NATO ally, comes just a day after the country hosted an Arab-Islamic summit over Israels strike. A draft resolution from the summit blames Israel for "threatening the prospects of peace and coexistence in the region.""We're trying to get everybody to stay focused on what happens moving forward, not just only focus on what's already happened with what happened last week in Doha," Rubio told Fox News. "We want everybody focused on [what] comes next, because we still have these problems we have to solve."Rubio refused to say whether the United States supports Israels plans to move forward with annexation in parts of the West Bank, but blamed countries for forcing Israels hand for saying they would recognize a Palestinian state."We warned it would force Israel to now do things in reaction to that, and I think part of this conversation about annexation is in response to what's been coming out of Europe and Canada and other countries with this Palestinian statehood move, which is largely symbolic, but yet has these real-world implications in terms of making it harder to achieve peace."TRUMP DEMANDS NATO ALLIES HALT RUSSIAN OIL PURCHASES BEFORE NEW US SANCTIONSRubio denied Russian President Vladimir Putin was "emboldened" by his summit with President Trump last month, despite recent Russian drone incursions in both Poland and Romania."This is an example of why this war, the President thinks, needs to end. Wars generally will escalate. They'll actually get worse, not better," Rubio told Fox News. "Understand that these drone operations are far from the front lines. They have no impact on the front lines. They're designed largely to weaken one another, and Ukraine is conducting strikes in Russia as well, and it's one of the reasons why the President has said he wants this war to end."Rubio also took issue with claims the United States "put a bounty" on Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduros head after announcing last month a $50 million reward for information leading to his arrest."Nicolas Maduro was indicted by the Southern District of New York. A grand jury returned an indictment. They read the evidence, they saw the evidence, they returned an indictment, not just against him personally, but against a network of people in that country who use the apparatus of what they claim to be of government to conduct drug trafficking operations against the United States," Rubio said."He's not the president of Venezuela, that's the title he's given himself," he added. "What he is, is someone who's empowered himself of some of the instruments of government, and they're using that to operate a drug cartel from Venezuelan territory," he added."When you traffic drugs into the United States, you're meddling into the internal affairs of America, when you are pushing drugs towards the United States of America, you are a direct threat to the national security and the national interest of the United States. And that's what we're addressing here."

Long Island newspaper Newsday apologizes for 'insensitive and offensive' Charlie Kirk assassination cartoon
Newsday, a daily newspaper serving Long Island, New York, apologized for an "insensitive and offensive" editorial cartoon referencing the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk after sparking calls for a boycott.Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, one of the most influential political organizations in the country, was killed while holding an event on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. The editorial cartoon, which appeared in Saturdays paper, featured an empty chair with a blood splatter under a tent labeled "Charlie Kirk" and "Prove Me Wrong" while an arrow labeled "Turning Point USA" pointed to the empty seat. The cartoon by illustrator Chip Bok was the latest example of insensitive reactions to the heartbreaking assassination of Kirk as America has seen professionals across all walks of life come under fire for tactless rhetoric on the heels of the shooting. Once Newsday was scolded by Long Island conservatives, the paper admitted the "error in judgement."CHARLIE KIRK'S MURDER THE LATEST IN INCREASING POLITICAL VIOLENCE NATIONWIDE, FROM PA GOVERNOR TO SCOTUS"On Saturday, Newsday published a syndicated editorial cartoon referring to the assassination of Charlie Kirk that was insensitive and offensive. We deeply regret the mistake and sincerely apologize to the family of Charlie Kirk and to all," Newsday said in a statement."We made an error in judgement. The cartoon has been removed from our digital platforms. In his illustration, Chip Bok used the name of Kirks organization, Turning Point USA, and the theme of his Utah event Prove Me Wrong to suggest that Kirks assassination might be a turning point for healing our nations divide," the statement continued. "The imagery was inappropriate and should have never been published in Newsday." CHARLIE KIRK HAD NO FEAR GOING INTO UTAH EVENT WHERE HE WAS ASSASSINATED, FRIEND SAYSThe apology came following widespread backlash on social media.Suffolk County Republican Party chairman Jesse Garcia blasted the paper, saying it "crossed a line" and demanded the "vile cartoon" be removed."By publishing a vile cartoon about the political assassination of Charlie Kirk, the paper has mocked tragedy, stoked division, and poured gasoline on the flames of political violence. This isnt journalism. Its a reckless, partisan attack that blames the victim, silences free speech, and shames everything this country should stand for," Garcia said in a statement."There is no way - or context - that this disgraceful political cartoon can be excused away," Garcia added, before calling for the cartoon to be removed from all platforms.CHARLIE KIRK WARNED ASSASSINATION CULTURE IS SPREADING ON THE LEFT IN EERIE ONLINE POST MONTHS BEFORE MURDER"Do not support a publication that normalizes hate and endangers lives. It's this type of hate - by media outlets like Newsday and others, social media platforms, and national, state, and local Democrat officials that instill political violence against those they disagree with," Garcia said.Trump campaign New Jersey delegate Mike Crispi urged New Yorkers to "drop your subscription," while Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y.,called the cartoon "heinous."Nassau County executive Bruce Blakeman called the cartoon "unconscionable" and urged residents to cancel their subscriptions."The unconscionable cartoon in Newsday trivializing the assassination of Charlie Kirk is so over the top despicable that it is shocking even for the majority of us who realized long ago that Newsday abandoned any pretension of fairness. Cancel Newsday," Blakeman posted on X.Newsday has not indicated whether it will take further internal action regarding editorial oversight.

Cracker Barrel removes modern decorations, restores 'Old Timer' signage after intense customer criticism
The reverse transformation of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store restaurants is underway.Cracker Barrel on Monday morning shared a social media post that included a 32-second video of the "Old Timer" sign being restored and the decorations on the wall inside one of its remodeled restaurants being removed."Like any good relationship, sometimes you just need a little tune-up," the post said. "We're going back to the things that made us all fall in love in the first place."CRACKER BARREL FAN SAYS 'HEALING ABSOLUTELY BEGINS NOW' AFTER RESTAURANT CHAIN NIXES MAKEOVERThe video is evidence that the Tennessee-based restaurant chain is following through on its promise to restore its Old Country Store vibe that many loyal customers felt was lost with Cracker Barrel's ill-received rebrand. It also appears to address whether Cracker Barrel planned to restore the already-transformed locations back to their original look.Cracker Barrel announced last week that it was "suspending" the remodels."If your restaurant hasn't been remodeled, you don't need to worry, it won't be," Cracker Barrel continued."With our recent announcement that our 'Old Timer' logo will remain, along with our bigger focus in the kitchen and on your plate, we hope that today's step reinforces that we hear you."CRACKER BARREL UNVEILS NEW SIMPLIFIED LOGO: 'OUR STORY HASN'T CHANGED'There were several comments on the post from people saying they wouldn't go back until the CEO was fired, while others clamored for improvements to the food.In August, Cracker Barrel unveiled a new logo as part of its larger brand transformation, leading to widespread backlash on social media. The logo did away with the illustration of an old man leaning against a barrel while seated in a chair, opting instead for a text-only design with a new typeface.CRACKER BARREL OR WAFFLE HOUSE? THE SOUTH'S MOST HEATED FOOD DEBATE RETURNS AMID LOGO SAGASarah Moore, Cracker Barrel's chief marketing officer, told Fox News Digital in May that the company had been "very transparent about our goal of making our stores feel brighter and even more welcoming than they already are, while maintaining that country hospitality and charm that we're known for."Rachel Love was among the first to call attention to the changes in April with her viral video showing off the interior of a remodeled restaurant in her home state of Tennessee. She told Fox News Digital that she was in "shock" when she saw the bright, white walls and replacement dcor.CRACKER BARREL CUSTOMERS 'HATE' RESTAURANT CHAIN'S NEW LOOK IN VIRAL SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEOSMany people who commented on the video felt the same, calling it "a haunting sight" and "sad" and revealing that they hoped the same wouldn't happen at a Cracker Barrel near them.Moore told Fox News Digital that Cracker Barrel welcomed the feedback."We truly want to understand how they feel about all the elements, whether it's about the remodels or the menu or the full brand transformation framework," she said.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR LIFESTYLE NEWSLETTER"This includes understanding the social media narrative and really digging deep into what our fan base is saying about us."That was before the logo change was announced.Love said she's "super excited" that Cracker Barrel has reversed its decision and can put the focus back on the food.MORE FROM FOX NEWS LIFESTYLE"I was driving up recently to Kentucky to see my girlfriends from college and all the billboards had been changed to the new logo, even after, I guess, they had been put in production already," Love told Fox News Digital in an interview last week."But I was just laughing at it. How much money is this costing you now to fix this versus just listening to what the people want? And I felt like I did that for them for free."Fox News Digital reached out to Cracker Barrel for comment.

Vikings' JJ McCarthy expected to be out 2-4 weeks with high-ankle sprain: report
Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy missed his entire rookie season due to injury, and after just two games of the 2025 campaign, hes expected to miss more time.McCarthy is expected to be sidelined for two to four weeks due to a high-ankle sprain suffered in Sunday nights loss to the Atlanta Falcons, according to ESPN.Vikings head coach Kevin OConnell said Monday morning that McCarthy was "very sore" after the injury, and he would likely be missing Week 3s contest against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are dealing with their own quarterback issues, as Joe Burrow could miss most of the regular season because surgery is needed to recover from turf toe suffered Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM"We are not planning on having [McCarthy] for Sunday," OConnell told reporters. "I dont see this being any kind of short-term IR thing, but I do want to see how he responds to treatment this week."FALCONS RUN OVER VIKINGS TO SPOIL HOME OPENER AS JJ MCCARTHY STRUGGLESMcCarthy was sacked six times in the 22-6 loss in the Vikings home opener on Sunday night, and he was sacked three times in a thrilling come-from-behind victory against the Chicago Bears in his NFL debut. But McCarthy didnt have any fourth-quarter magic this time, as he threw two interceptions and no touchdowns in a struggling performance that resulted in more than just a loss.McCarthy missed the entire 2024 season after being selected by the Vikings in the first round, where he was expected by many to begin his rookie year in a starting role. He tore his meniscus early in training camp, which gave the keys to OConnells offense to Sam Darnold, who led Minnesota to a 14-3 record. Darnold is now 1-1 to start his season with the Seattle Seahawks.McCarthy, despite his fourth-quarter comeback in Chicago, hasnt been the most efficient quarterback in his first two NFL starts. He has a QBR of 20.4, which ranks 32nd out of 33 qualified quarterbacks in the league to begin the 2025 season. He has completed 24 of 41 passes for 301 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions over two games. With McCarthy sidelined, OConnell will hand the reins to Carson Wentz, the 32-year-old who has played a backup role for the Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs the last two seasons. The Vikings are also dealing with injury news for veteran running back Aaron Jones Sr., who suffered a hamstring injury that ended his game prematurely.Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X, and subscribe tothe Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Neighbors of Charlie Kirks suspected killer, Tyler Robinson, speak out
WASHINGTON, Utah Washington County neighbors who knew Tyler Robinson, the suspected assassin of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, told Fox News Digital that he was a "sweet," smart, nice kid.Ray Hardy, a resident of the 22-year-old suspect's hometown who said his kids went to high school with Robinson, described him as "normal.""This is not who we are," Hardy said. "This is not our society. It's not our community. It is not who we grew up with. I don't think this is the kid who grew up with us either. Something changed and affected him, almost infected him."Robinson's charging documents, which are expected Tuesday, could shed more light on the suspect's motive. Attorney General Derek Brown told Fox News Digital on Friday that Robinson could face a combination of state and federal charges.CHARLIE KIRK'S ALLEGED ASSASSIN'S TRANSGENDER ROOMMATE 'HATES CONSERVATIVES AND CHRISTIANS,' RELATIVE SAYSGov. Spencer Cox, R-Utah, confirmed on Sunday that conservative influencer Charlie Kirk's suspected assassin, Tyler Robinson, has a "leftist ideology," despite his conservative upbringing.CHARLIE KIRK'S ALLEGED SHOOTER NOT COOPERATING WITH AUTHORITIES, UTAH GOV. COX SAYSRobinson has lived in Washington County, Utah, for most of his life, a deep red county where 75% of residents voted to send President Donald Trump back to the White House last year.Robinson's parents are registered Republicans, but Utah Voter Registration records reveal that Robinson is unaffiliated with a political party and that he did not vote in the past two general elections.A neighbor who lives across the street from the Robinson family said he was always polite and neighborly in their brief interactions.Another Washington County local told Fox News Digital that her brother was friends with him in high school, and he would occasionally come over to her family's house. She said her brother lost touch with him over the past few years as he started working full-time and Robinson spent more time online. As the community tries to make sense of Robinson's attack, the Utah governor said Robinson's digital footprint could have the answers."It seemed to happen kind of after that, after he had moved back to the southern part of Utah," Cox said of Robinson's shifting ideology. "Clearly, there was a lot of gaming going on. Friends have confirmed that there was kind of that deep, dark internet, the Reddit culture and these other dark places of the internet where this person was going deep. And you saw that on the casings."Robinson was a third-year student in the electrical apprenticeship program at Dixie Technical College in St. George, Utah Board of Higher Education confirmed in a statement. He attended Utah State University for less than one semester in 2021, according to Cox, despite receiving a four-year merit scholarship.Cox told reporters on Friday that investigators interviewed a family member who said Robinson "had become more political in recent years.""The family member referenced a recent incident in which Robinson came to dinner prior to Sept. 10, and in that conversation with another family member, Robinson mentioned Charlie Kirk was coming to UVU. They talked about why they didn't like him and the viewpoints that he had. The family member also stated Kirk was full of hate and spreading hate," Cox said.Cox said authorities had discovered ammunition inscribed with anti-fascist messages and video game memes. The governor called social media a "cancer" on Friday while announcing Robinson had been arrested."I believe that social media has played a direct role in every single assassination and assassination attempt that we have seen over the last five, six years. There is no question in my mind that cancer probably isn't a strong enough word. What we have done, especially to our kids, it took us a decade to realize how evil these algorithms are," he said on Sunday. The New York Times reported on Saturday that Robinson messaged in a Discord chat in the hours following Kirk's assassination, joking that his "doppelgnger" was trying to "get me in trouble.""He does come from a conservative family, but his ideology was very different than his family," Cox said on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday, confirming Fox News Digital reporting that Cox's roommate in St. George is a "boyfriend who is transitioning from male to female."Cox said Robinson's roommate has been cooperating with authorities and had no prior knowledge of the attack. One of Robinson's relatives told Fox News Digital that his transgender roommate "hates conservatives and Christians."The Utah governor told ABC's "This Week" on Sunday that Robinson is not cooperating and has not confessed to assassinating Kirk.Robinson's neighbors told Fox News Digital that they never would have expected someone from Washington County to kill Kirk."Not in a million years," Diana, a Washington County local, said during a vigil on Sunday night. "It's like our governor said, he was hoping it was from someone from a different country or some terrorist or something, and I just feel like a 22-year-old kid doesn't really know. He's just been brainwashed. He's listened to lies from different people, and it's easy to get mixed up."Diana, who organized prayer boxes for the Robinson and Kirk families during Sunday's vigil, said it has been a huge shock and loss for the community but that her neighbors have come together to show their support for the Robinson and Kirk families."This family is an amazing family," one neighbor said when Fox News Digital asked why she was leaving flowers on the front steps of Robinsons family home on Saturday. The neighbor, who requested to remain anonymous, said she has known the family for almost a decade and visited the home a few months ago, adding that she only knew Tyler as a child."Its unfortunate what happened, but the family needs our support," the neighbor said.Melissa Tate, a neighbor who spoke to Fox News on Friday, said she was thankful the family made the "unbelievable decision" to help the authorities arrest their son."I'm very grateful that they did that, and I have utmost sympathy for his family. I can't even imagine what they're going through right now," Tate said.Holly Wilkinson, a resident of St. George, who wore a "Freedom" shirt to Sunday's vigil in Washington's Veterans Park, said the news was "shocking" but she's witnessed her community come together, even for the Robinson family."To hear that the perpetrator of such terrible political violence was raised in our beautiful community is profoundly shocking. Washington County, like Charlie Kirk himself, stands for the values of faith, freedom, the pursuit of happiness, and justice," Washington County said in a statement on Facebook. There are American flags for sale just blocks from Robinson's technical school. Washington County is less than a one-hour drive to Zion National Park, and the city of St. George is filled with mom-and-pop shops, churches and neighborhood parks.Utah Valley University, where Kirk was shot on Wednesday, is about a four-hour drive from Washington County.Fox News Digital's Adam Sabes and Brooke Singman contributed to this report.

Before Charlie Kirk murder, Utah Gov. Cox pushed effort to 'disagree better'
After the deadly shooting of Charlie Kirk on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, Gov. Spencer Cox has been thrust into the national spotlight. The Republican has since been front and center as officials investigate suspect Tyler Robinson and other aspects of the case, which also has brought renewed attention to an effort Cox has led to convince Americans to "disagree better."Like Kirk, who traveled college campuses inviting liberal students to "prove me wrong," Coxs effort to make America "disagree better" has put the governor's work in a unique light given the tragic events."Disagree Better" was started by Cox when he was the chair of the National Governors Association from July 2023 to July 2024.CHARLIE KIRK'S MURDER THE LATEST IN INCREASING POLITICAL VIOLENCE NATIONWIDE, FROM PA GOVERNOR TO SCOTUSThe initiative reflected the National Governors Association's bipartisan mission of "encouraging healthier dialogue and reducing political polarization," an association spokesperson told Fox News Digital. When he ran for governor in 2020, Cox made national headlines for appearing with Democratic nominee Professor Christopher Peterson in a joint ad calling on Utahns to "debate issues without degrading each others character," in the latters words."We can disagree without hating each other," Cox added. When the ad went viral, Cox said he could feel his "faith in the American idea start to rekindle," according to the Deseret News.Cox joined current National Governors Association Vice Chair Wes Moore of Maryland for a "disagree better" event in 2024 that earned praise from then-President Joe Biden."I appreciate Governor Coxs effort to make the mission of the NGA to get those of us who disagree with one another to listen to one another, to treat one another with a sense of dignity and respect," Biden said at the time.CHARLIE KIRK MURDER SPURS FIRST-IN-THE-NATION STATE POLITICAL VIOLENCE HATE-CRIME LEGISLATIONCox spent much of his term as National Governors Association chair pushing the "Disagree Better" message, and as governor he echoed that mindset in his viral PSA with Peterson.Other figures in the "Disagree Better" independent nonprofit include officials from the American Enterprise Institute, Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation, former judges and at least 23 governors from both parties."We're working with celebrities, athletes, musicians, public figures, influencers, and political leaders to show what respectful disagreement looks like in action," a statement on its website said."What started as one governor's nonpartisan rallying cry has grown into something much bigger."After the first assassination attempt on the life of President Donald Trump in July 2024, Cox told Fox News Salt Lake City affiliate that the then-GOP nominee had the chance to unify and "save our country," given the harrowing experience in Butler, Pennsylvania.Cox remarked that he also doesnt think hes important enough to force any change in presidential discourse, adding, "that doesnt mean Im not going to try."At the time, Cox said Trump had a chance to "unify and save our country" after surviving the attempt on his life.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPIn a podcast with then-National Governors Association Vice Chair Jared Polis of Colorado, Cox said he never changed his mind, and doesnt believe others should, when he is subjected to personal attacks or "told youre a terrible human being.""The way you actually influence people and persuade people, and I still believe in persuasion, is by treating them with dignity and respect," he said.Polis, who is also listed as an officer of Disagree Better which did not immediately have public contact information said it is important to be curious and ask questions."It doesn't mean you're going to agree, nor does it mean that either side should feel any pressure to agree. But at the very least, you'll validate the humanity of those you disagree with," the Democrat said.In a similar way, Kirk aimed to civilly discuss pressing and at times sensitive political issues with willing students.Videos of his past campus visits show him responding to multiple instances of vitriol or at-times pointed language with a straight face and calm demeanor, echoing Coxs own advice.Fox News Digital reached out to Cox for further comment. The Disagree Better organization could not be reached.

That's not what we're about here."Aldean went on to talk about his 2023 single, "Try That in a Small Town." At the time of its release, the song and its accompanying music video earned a bit of backlash, enough that the video was pulled out of the Country Music Television (CMT) network's rotation."I remember when we put this song out, people like Charlie Kirk were some of the first people to come up and go, Thats what it's about. Maher praises conservatives like Kirk for promoting dialogue, condemns far left for celebrating his death
Liberal host Bill Maher mourned the killing of conservative activist and Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk, contrasting conservatives who embrace dialogue with far-left activists who, he argued, seek to silence it."Look, I might drink a little more than usual today," Maher told guest Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins. "Because I dont know when this is airing, but this is a s--- day. A guy who sat there Charlie Kirk got shot today, and I can't stop thinking about it."Kirks assassination during a campus event stunned the nation and reignited a national conversation about the value of political dialogue even across deeply divided ideological lines."Neither can I," Corgan replied.JOE ROGAN SHOCKED ON-AIR BY CHARLIE KIRKS DEATH, LAMENTS LOSS OF 'REASONABLE' LEADER WHO PROMOTED OPEN DEBATE"And we shouldnt," Maher continued, before addressing liberals who openly celebrated Kirks death. "And if you're on the other side of the political divide, and you don't care because the wrong team guy got shot f--- you. You're what's wrong with this country."Maher reiterated that he still identifies as an "old-school liberal" but remains sharply critical of what he sees as the far lefts dominance over modern progressive politics."As I always say to my woke friends, we voted for the same person youre just why she lost," Maher said.I'M A DEMOCRAT, AND CHARLIE KIRK'S MURDER MUST UNITE ALL AMERICANS AGAINST VIOLENCEHe went on to highlight the divide between conservatives and the far left on the issue of political dialogue:"Theyre the people who dont want to talk," Maher said. "Charlie Kirk was always willing to engage I talked to him here. Say what you want about right-wingers, but theyll talk to you. The left has more of a, I wont talk to you. Youre deplorable. I cant break bread with you. Right-wingers dont have that attitude."Maher emphasized that disagreement does not negate humanity. "Now again, I didnt vote for them. Charlie Kirk and I certainly dont agree on much politically. But he sat here. Hes a human being. Hes not a monster."CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE OF MEDIA AND CULTURE"And a husband, and a father," Corgan added."Yes. And I liked him I like them all. Theyre all nice people when you meet them in person. Nobodys as crazy as theyre made out to be," Maher said, stressing that both sides must take responsibility for their own extremists if political violence is to be stopped."Violence has to be off the table," Corgan agreed, warning that peace should never be taken for granted and pointing to countries still plagued by sectarian political violence.

Copycat or coincidence? Teen defacing Kirk memorial arrested in t-shirt resembling Utah assassin's
A teen arrested after blatantly trampling over a memorial for Charlie Kirk outside the Turning Point USA headquarters on Sunday was wearing a T-shirt appearing to resemble the same shirt worn by Kirk's alleged assassin in security footage released by the FBI.During the FBI's manhunt for Kirk's assassin, law enforcement released security camera stills of the suspect just before he allegedly shot and killed Kirk. The suspect in those photos, believed to be 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, donned a long-sleeve black T-shirt with a distinct American flag design overlaid with an American Eagle. Gold and silver lining on top and below the American flag can also be seen.Meanwhile, video of the defacement of Kirk's memorial on Sunday, which took place outside Turning Point USA (TPUSA) headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, showed the vandal wearing a short-sleeve black T-shirt with what appeared to resemble the same logo that was on Robinson's shirt in security footage released by law enforcement. Kirk established TPUSA in 2012 and was killed while appearing at one of their events.CHARLIE KIRK ASSASSINATION SUSPECT AWAITS CHARGES AS UTAH RESIDENTS DESCRIBE ALLEGED KILLER AS VERY QUIETThe vandal arrested in Phoenix wearing a shirt similar to the one seen worn in security images by Robinson was identified by police as 19-year-old Ryder Corral.Corral stomped through the memorial destroying flowers, vases, flags and other gifts people put down, until a man wearing a blue polo shirt and white hat grabbed ahold of Corral and slammed him to the ground. Law enforcement eventually caught up with Corral, put him in handcuffs and escorted the teen away. LEGAL ANALYST CALLS FOR MORE ARRESTS IN CHARLIE KIRK ASSASSINATIONIt still remains unclear what Robinson's motive was, as he remains uncooperative with authorities. His transgender partner, who Robinson lived with, is cooperating with law enforcement, according to the FBI. Robinson's romantic partner and roommate allegedly held animosity towards conservatives and Christians, one of their relatives told Fox News Digital."He hates conservatives and Christians," the relative said. "He hated us. He was not raised that way, but he, over the years, has become really detached [and has] been radicalized."The relative added that they suspected Robinson's politics were influenced by his partner during their year dating.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP"I think Tyler got a whole lot worse in the year they have been dating. They are big [video] gamers, and obviously they have that group that influences them as well as others. But my gut tells me [the roommate] did more of the influencing," the relative said. The FBI is also probing left-wing groups in Utah for possible ties to Robinson or Kirk's assassination, a source familiar with the investigation told Fox News Digital.Investigators are looking into whether any groups had connections to Robinson, knew about his alleged plans beforehand or assisted him in carrying them out.
