WWW.FOXNEWS.COMJohnson demands NARA turn over records related to Biden's mental 'decline' amid Senate probe of 'cover-up'EXCLUSIVE: Sen. Ron Johnson is demanding the National Archives turn over all records related to former President Joe Bidens "mental and physical health and cognitive decline," Fox News Digital has learned.Fox News Digital exclusively obtained a letter Johnson, R-Wis., sent to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is serving as the acting archivist of the United States.Johnson, who leads the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, said he is now conducting an investigation into "the cover-up of former President Bidens health and cognitive decline.""My office has been reviewing the allegations that former President Biden, cabinet members, and his staff covered up his declining mental and physical health over the course of his presidency," Johnson wrote to Rubio, adding that the allegations "raise serious questions about who was making key presidential decisions if the former president was incapable of doing so.EXCLUSIVE: WHITE HOUSE INVESTIGATING BIDEN USE OF AUTOPEN IN SPRAWLING PROBE OF INCOMPETENT AND SENILE FORMER PRESIDENT"One of these key decisions may have involved the presidential power to grant clemency or pardons a matter that the White House Counsels Office, among other entities, are currently investigating," Johnson wrote.BIDEN ONLY HAND-SIGNED ONE PARDON DURING FINAL SPREE, AND IT WAS HIS MOST CONTROVERSIAL ONEFox News Digital exclusively reported Tuesday that the White House Counsels Office, in conjunction with the Justice Department, is investigating Bidens use of an autopen and already is reviewing more than 27,000 documents turned over by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)."The reporting further suggests that these records represent only a portion of the information in NARAs possession that may be related to the coverup of former President Bidens alleged mental and physical decline," Johnson wrote to Rubio, referring to the Fox News Digital exclusive report.Johnson is now demanding that NARA turn over all records provided to the White House Counsels Office referring to or relating to Bidens mental or physical health or the alleged cover-up, including all communications.Johnson also is demanding communications between or among any former White House officials, members of Bidens Cabinet or their staff or other staff relating to Bidens mental or physical health.Specifically, Johnson is demanding records belonging to former White House chief of staff Ron Klain, former White House chief of staff Jeff Zients, former advisor Mike Donilon, former counselor to the president Steve Ricchetti, Biden personal attorney Bob Bauer, Biden senior advisor Anita Dunn, former White House Physician Kevin OConnor and others.Johnson gave Rubio until July 30 to turn over the records.Trump sent a memo in June to the Department of Justice directing Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate the autopen use and to determine whether it was related to a decline in Biden's mental state. The White House Counsel's Office is investigating Biden's use of an autopen, a machine that physically holds a pen and features programming to imitate a persons signature. Unlike a stamp or a digitized print of a signature, the autopen has the capability to hold various types of pens, from a ballpoint to a permanent marker, according to descriptions of autopen machines available for purchase.Biden used an autopen to sign a slew of documents while in office. He also used an autopen to sign final pardons, including preemptive pardons for members of his family, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Gen. Mark Milley and members and staff of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riots. He only signed one pardon by hand, for his son Hunter, after vowing to the American people for months he would not pardon Hunter.TRUMP CLAIMS BIDEN PARDONS ARE VOID, ALLEGING THEY WERE SIGNED VIA AUTOPENIn his final weeks in office, Biden granted clemency and pardoned more than 1,500 individuals in what the White House described at the time as the largest single-day act of clemency by a U.S. president.Biden, in a recent interview with The New York Times, defended his use of an autopen, saying he "made every decision" on his own."Were talking about (granting clemency to) a whole lot of people," Biden said. However, the Times reported that Biden "did not individually approve each name for the categorical pardons that applied to large numbers of people," according to the former president and his aides.Congressional committees, like the House Oversight Committee, are also investigating the autopen use and Biden's health while in office.A senior administration official recognized the simultaneous efforts but stressed that the White House Counsel's investigation is separate from any congressional probes.Officials told Fox News Digital the investigation is a "massive effort," and one that they hope to finish "as soon as possible."As for Trump, officials told Fox News Digital he does not use an autopen for anything that could be considered official business. The only time Trump may use the autopen is for unofficial business, including correspondence, letters for birthdays or commissioned records for widely shared documents, his office said.0 Comments 0 Shares 10 Views 0 Reviews

Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., and her family over a span of nearly two years.Seth Jason, 64, of Maryland, was arrested by the United States Capitol Police (USCP) and is facing a four-count indictment for allegedly influencing a federal official by threatening a family member, influencing a federal official by threat, interstate communications with a threat to kidnap or injure and anonymous telecommunications harassment.Police also seized a laptop, several telephones, an iPad and multiple thumb drives.During a news conference on Thursday, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro said the threats were made "repeatedly and continuously" from October 2023 through the end of January this year.AFTER MINNESOTA KILLINGS, CAPITOL HILL REPRESENTATIVES FACE STARK REALITY ABOUT FAMILY SAFETYPirro said Jason was accused of making statements including, "I'm looking forward to your book signing. We are all armed and ready to take care of you. We're coming after you and your staff, and we are locked and loaded. We're going to take you all out. We've got our AK-47s. You're going to get one between the eyes. Bam, bam, bam."Staff members at Greene's offices were also threatened, including the staff members' families, according to Pirro.GEORGIA MAN INDICTED FOR MAKING ALLEGED THREATS AGAINST SENATORS CRUZ, FISCHER IN DISTURBING VOICEMAILSMaking the case even more egregious, Pirro said Jason was a "rogue" former full-time federal government employee at Voice of America. She said he used phones in the control rooms where broadcasters were reporting to make the threats. He is currently unemployed after retiring from Voice of America a few months ago. The retirement came as President Donald Trump ordered the dismantling of the U.S.'s state-funded media outlet, with a federal judge later restoring the agency."Through the leadership of President Trump, this sprawling federal bureaucracy is being held accountable, including through the work of Kari Lake, who is senior advisor to the U.S. Agency for Global Media, which oversees Voice of America."Lake took to social media to thank Pirro for "taking these threats seriously.""I am sickened by what Congresswoman @RepMTG, her staff and their families had to go through as the threats persisted for 15 months! It angers me that a taxpayer-funded VOA employee would use taxpayer-funded equipment in a depraved way to threaten the lives of people, including an elected official," Lake wrote in a post on X. "If he is found guilty, I hope he is sentenced to the maximum amount of time behind bars."Lake also said it's time to shut Voice of America down.Meanwhile, Pirro vowed to hold government employees to the highest standards."No one should have to live their life looking over their shoulder every day and wondering if those threats are about to be fulfilled The threat to have your family murdered as well as yourself, is debilitating.""My message today should be loud and clear: This behavior is a crime," she added. WWW.FOXNEWS.COMJoy Reid confronted by Piers Morgan over blog scandal in explosive interviewFormer MSNBC host Joy Reid was blindsided by Piers Morgans questions about whether she wrote the series of homophobic posts that were unearthed from her old blog in 2018, in a contentious interview published Thursday."Now you're not at MSNBC," Morgan asked. "Now you're on your own doing your own thing, and you don't have to worry about repercussions and stuff. Are you prepared to finally come clean and just admit that was your blog and you did say those things?""You know, Piers, I might have known that you would use this opportunity and interview and that this was your purpose, right?" Reid began. "This is your purpose and that's fine. This is your show, and you can do whatever you like. You know, I could sit here and go on and on and fight with you about your strange, weird obsession with Megan Markle, but I won't do that because that would be rude.""Happy to, if you want to!" Morgan interjected.JOY REID ACCUSES 'CHEAP' PIERS MORGAN OF AMBUSHING HER IN NEW INTERVIEW"We can do that as well," Reid remarked.Reid insisted that someone she didnt know had access to her site for years but that she was "willing to take responsibility for anything that was on that site.""Did you say those things?" Morgan interrupted."Not to my" Reid began."Come on ,Joy, you said them. You know you did," Morgan said as the two began talking over each other."The reason that you are trying to go here is that you are trying to defend the idea that Moms for Liberty and these other organizations can take books that are not pornography" Reid said."No, no, Im just trying to see whether you like to hold people to account," Morgan said."And I held myself to account" Reid argued."I'm just trying to ask you questions about you being held to account," Morgan finished.Reid continued to apologize for everything on the blog, without clarifying if she wrote the comments, and returned to criticizing the Moms for Liberty political group for targeting controversial LGBTQ-themed books in schools.Morgan disagreed with Reids comments on Moms for Liberty and returned again to the topic of Reids controversial blog posts. He pointed out that despite her support for the LGBTQ community, her blog posts had a very different message.CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE OF MEDIA AND CULTURE"Im talking about you posting on your blog that you wouldn't watch Brokeback Mountain because you don't want to see two male characters having sex," Morgan said. "Does that make me homophobic? Probably. Most straight people cringe at the sight of two men kissing. Your words, not mine, Joy.""And your point is?" Reid said."That maybe that makes you a bit of a hypocrite when you're taking the position of being an ally for the LGBTQ community," Morgan said. "And actually the best way to handle it, I would argue, is just to say, You know what? Actually, I did write that at the time. They're not my views now. I've learned. I've evolved. I've moved on. Trying to pretend even now that you didn't write it is preposterous. And I think you know that."Reid reiterated that she takes full responsibility for everything on the site and felt "deeply apologetic" for the things that hurt people. She added that her views are clearly different from what was written in the past blog posts. After claiming in 2018, when her blogs old posts resurfaced, that the site had been hacked, Reid eventually admitted that could not be substantiated, and said, "The person I am now is not the person I was then."CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPReid apologized but, while taking responsibility for the content, she repeatedly suggested she was not the actual author of some of the offending posts. At the time, Reid was not formally reprimanded by MSNBC. The progressive network rallied behind her, saying the posts are "not reflective of the colleague and friend we have known at MSNBC for the past seven years. Joy has apologized publicly and privately and said she has grown and evolved in the many years since, and we know this to be true."Reid was fired by MSNBC earlier this year.0 Comments 0 Shares 24 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMJudge signs off on release plan for woman who stabbed a classmate to please 'Slender Man'After spending years in a mental health center, a Wisconsin woman involved in the infamous 2014 "Slender Man" stabbing case will be released, a judge ruled after several months of deliberation, according to The Associated Press.Morgan Geyser, now 22, confessed in 2017 to stabbing her friend, Peyton Leutner, when Geyser was just 12 years old, as part of a disturbing plan she and co-defendant Anissa Weier devised to appease "Slender Man," a fictional internet figure. As part of a plea deal, Geyser was committed to a psychiatric institution, where she has spent the past eight years. On Thursday, a Waukesha County judge approved her conditional release, the AP reported. The decision follows a lengthy legal process that included expert testimony, prosecutor's objections and a judicial review of Geysers mental health status. In January, mental health professionals testified in favor of her release, which the judge initially approved.ANY TIE BRYAN KOHBERGER HAS TO 'PAPPA RODGER' COULD BECOME CLEAR WHEN GAG ORDER IS LIFTEDHowever, in April, Leutners mother voiced concerns over Geyser potentially being placed in a group home roughly 8 miles from their home. Prosecutors opposed the release based on these concerns. The judge then required the Department of Health Services to develop a revised resettlement plan, which was eventually approved, paving the way for Geysers conditional release.IDAHO MURDERER BRYAN KOHBERGERS FORMER FRIENDS DIVE INTO KILLERS MINDSET ABOUT WHY HE DID ITGeyser and Weier drew national attention in 2014 after luring Leutner into a wooded area after a sleepover and stabbing her 19 times. All three were just 12 years old at the time.During police interviews, Weier and Geyser told authorities they felt they had to kill Leutner to become Slender Man's "proxies," or servants, and protect their families from him.'SLENDER MAN' STABBER RELEASE HITS ROADBLOCK AFTER LEARNING VICTIM WOULD LIVE 8 MILES AWAYLeutner was left for dead but miraculously survived the attack after she crawled out of the woods and was found by a bicyclist. In 2017, Geyser pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree intentional homicide in Leutner's attack but claimed she was not responsible due to her mental illness. She was sentenced in 2018 to a maximum of 40 years of state mental health supervision.Geyser has been at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute for nearly a decade but asked the court to consider her conditional release every six months.Weier also pleaded guilty to being a party to attempted second-degree intentional homicide with a dangerous weapon and was sentenced to 25 years in a mental hospital. In 2021, she was released on the condition she must live with her father and wear a GPS monitor."Slender Man" started with an online post in 2009 as a mysterious specter whose image people edit into everyday scenes of children at play. He is typically depicted as a spidery figure in a black suit with a featureless white face. He was regarded by his devotees as alternately a sinister force and an avenging angel. As of now, specific details regarding the timing of Geyser's release and the final placement plan remain undisclosed.Fox News Digital reached out to Geyser's lawyer but did not immediately receive a response. The Associated Press contributed to this report.0 Comments 0 Shares 31 Views 0 Reviews
