WWW.FOXNEWS.COMUN expert repeats Israel 'genocide' claims after US calls for her removalRepresentatives of United Nations member states gathered in Geneva on Thursday to discuss the latest report by the controversial U.N. Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese. The meeting came just two days after the U.S. Mission to the U.N. called for Albaneses removal, citing her "years-long pattern of antisemitism and anti-Israel bias."In Albaneses report, entitled "From Economy of Occupation to Economy of Genocide," Israel is described as "a regime of settler-colonial apartheid." Additionally, Albanese claims that corporations have aided Israel in "its ongoing genocidal campaign in Gaza."ISRAEL TURNS TABLES ON UN OFFICIAL CLAIMING 'GENOCIDE' IN GAZA WITH BASIC QUESTIONS"Israel is responsible for one of the cruelest genocides in modern history," Albanese said when opening the session in Geneva on Thursday. She further alleged that "Israel has used the genocide as an opportunity to test new weapons, customized surveillance, lethal drones, radar systems and other unmanned technology to exterminate a people without restraint."Palestinian envoy to the U.N. in Geneva Ibrahim Khraishi was given the first opportunity to respond to Albaneses opening statement after Human Rights Council President Jrg Lauber acknowledged that Israeli representatives were not present. Khraishi used his response not only to praise Albanese, but also to criticize the U.S. Mission to the U.N. in New York.Khraishi praised Albaneses report and said it provided "a comprehensive analysis of how an economy of occupation became an economy of genocide backed by a series of transnational corporations from the industry of weapons to AI and digital surveillance."UN COMMISSION ACCUSES ISRAEL OF 'EXTERMINATION' IN CONTROVERSIAL REPORTThe representative then defended Albanese and slammed the U.S. for accusing the special rapporteur of antisemitism, claiming that "antisemites are those who support the genocidal government," referring to Israel.U.N. Watch Executive Director Hillel Neuer was one of the only dissenting voices against the report. In his response to Albanese, Neuer pointed out that in the report "Israel is accused of genocide 68 times.""Israel has been fighting a just war against a terrorist army, which cynically embeds itself among civilians. Ms. Albanese, war is not genocide, but in your report theres no war at all, its only about Israel," Neuer said. He went on to question the omission from the report of the attacks carried out by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023.OPINION: I KNOW WHY THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL IS IRRELEVANT TO GAZA. I WAS THERE WHEN THE US STOOD UP FOR ISRAELWhile Israel's Mission to the U.N. in Geneva was not physically present to respond, its ambassador issued a scathing condemnation of the special rapporteur in a statement to Fox News Digital."Francesca Albanese is willingly spearheading the global efforts to promote terrorism propaganda. This report, just like all others by this rapporteur, is riddled with inflammatory rhetoric and is legally baseless," Ambassador of Israel to the UN in Geneva, Daniel Meron told Fox News Digital. "Her obsession with demonizing Israel is clear in the narrative she pushes.""Her allegations that Israel is committing genocide and is engaged in apartheid are erroneous and offensive. Israel is fighting a legitimate war to defend itself," Meron added. "Yet, Albanese deliberately and systematically omits any mention of the existence of Hamas, Hezbollah, or the Houthis, or the barrages of rockets on Israel launched by Iran. She aids Iran and its terrorist proxies in promoting a narrative that distorts reality and ignores the suffering of the hostages."HAMAS 'SERIOUS' ABOUT REACHING CEASEFIRE AGREEMENT BUT INSISTS ON LONG-STANDING DEMANDSIn addition to her condemnation of corporations with ties to Israel, Albanese also took aim at the U.S.- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which she described as "nothing else than a death trap engineered to starve and force the flight of a starved, bombarded, emaciated population marked for elimination." This sentiment was echoed by Khraishi, who also referred to the GHF as a "trap."The GHF, which has the backing of the Trump administration, has repeatedly pushed back against critics, including the U.N., and has encouraged them to join in its goal of delivering aid to the Palestinian people in a way that prevents Hamas from stealing it."Weve delivered more than 52 million meals in just five weeks. Not talking points, not headlines, but food reaching Palestinian families every single day," a GHF spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "Meanwhile, other organizations stand by helplessly as their aid is looted. Weve offered to help them deliver it safely. Theyve refused."On Tuesday, the U.S. Mission to the U.N. once again expressed concerns about Albanese and released a statement calling for her removal and reiterating its opposition to her reappointment earlier this year."In recent weeks, Ms. Albanese has escalated her years-long pattern of virulent antisemitism and unrelenting anti-Israel bias by dispatching threatening correspondence to dozens of entities worldwide, including major American corporations," the U.S. Missions statement read. "These letters advance deeply flawed legal arguments to support extreme and unfounded accusations that these organizations are complicit in gross human rights violations, apartheid, and genocide. These letters also constitute an unacceptable campaign of political and economic warfare against the American and worldwide economy."UN OFFICIAL REAPPOINTED DESPITE ACCUSATIONS OF ANTISEMITISMIn the past, Albanese has also been condemned by France and Germany due to her statements about Israel, some of which have been criticized as being antisemitic. In February 2024, Albanese was condemned by France and Germany after saying French President Emmanuel Macron was wrong to call Hamas Oct. 7 events "the largest antisemitic massacre of our century." In her response, she said "The victims of 7/10 were not killed because of their Judaism but in response to Israels oppression."France said Albanese seemed to "justify" the attacks and that her remarks were "all the more scandalous given that the fight against anti-Semitism and all forms of racism are at the heart of the founding of the U.N," according to the ADL.0 Comments 0 Shares 7 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMTrump chose country over comfort just like the Founding Fathers once didFor years now, the far-Left has been escalating its attacks against our Founding Fathers, the 4thof July, and the American flag. They have literally called for the canceling of all three.Butas long as we continue to celebrate our most significant and cherished holiday, the far-Left is more than happy to exploit it.That said, they have scheduled their second "No Kings" protest for the 4thof July. These mostly paid anti-ICE anarchists have three goals: to smear President Donald Trump and his policies; to desecrate our Independence Day; and to get as much free publicity from their allies in the mainstream media as possible.Ironically if these protesters knew American history, thought for themselves, or actually cared about the welfare of their fellow Americans, they would quickly realize that Trump is about as far removed from a "king" as possible and, in fact, has a great deal in common with our Founding Fathers.I strongly believe our Founding Fathers would have embraced Trump as one of their own. Why? Because for most certainly the last ten years of his life, he has exhibited the same beliefs as them; the same courage as them; the same vision as them; and literally put his life on the line, like them.WHITE HOUSE SLAMS 'UTTER FAILURE' OF ANTI-TRUMP PROTESTS AS AMERICA CELEBRATES ARMY'S HISTORIC MILESTONEI know a bit about this subject because three years ago this 4thof July, I authored a book titled:"The 56 Liberty Lessons from those who risked all to sign The Declaration of Independence."The only reason I wrote the book was to showcase those men in the heroic light they deserve while outlining a plan on how to protect them, the 4thof July, and the American flag from cancellation. The anarchist protest on the 4this titled: "No Kings 2.0 Independence Without Tyranny." The flyer then goes on to say: "This 4thof July were reclaiming Americas promise. Freedom for all. Justice for all. NO KINGS."Next, we come to the section where the organizers demonstrate that they are either paid propagandists with no principles; so far deep in the power-hungry socialist silo that they can no longer see reason or light; or just truly want to strip their fellow Americans of their rights and freedoms. The rest of the flyer reads: "What started as a local protest is now a national movement. This isnt about Left vs. Right this is about the people vs. power unchecked. No more leaders above the law. No more silence when rights are stripped away. No more fear, manipulation, or false patriotism." Wow.Really? The only thing that I can think of which would excuse this purposeful twisting of reality is that the organizers and anarchists have somehow confused Joe Biden with Trump."No more leaders above the law." Do they remember the United States under the draconian COVID edicts enacted by Biden and the power-hungry bureaucrats from just four short years ago?Jobs and livelihoods destroyed; schools closed; children uneducated and punished; forced masking; forced vaccinations; police, military, firefighters, doctors, nurses, and others fired for exercising their American right not to have a vaccination. If that wasnt the poster child for "No more silence when rights are stripped away", then I dont know what is. And yet, those on the Left organizing this latest "No Kings" protest were not only "silent" but many of them enabled that tyrannical destruction of jobs, education, and liberty.Talk about "manipulation."Talk about "fear."Potentially millions of Americans have not fully recovered from that rhetorical and real reign of terror. But of course, this protest has nothing to do with liberty, rights, or the welfare of the American people. It is almost entirely about smearing President Trump. But as they protest the president this 4thof July, I would like to educate them about the ironic facts their hate is shielding.Back in 1776, the vast majority of the wealthy either chose to side with the British Crown or remain silent. They did not want to risk their money nor their privilege.A number of the 56 men who signed their own death warrants by signing the Declaration of Independence were quite wealthy. They would have been considered billionaires today. So, what separated them from the wealthy of their time hiding in the shadows?Courage and a hatred of tyranny.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONWhen the Colonies reached that tipping point between freedom and tyranny, these men asked themselves the two most important questions of their lives: "If not me, who? If not now, when?" To be sure, tens of millions of Americans believe that in 2015, then-New York City businessman Trump asked himself those same two questions. He needed none of this.Trump had created an iconic global business empire and could have spent the rest of his life in peaceful luxury. And yet, like our Founding Fathers he chose his nation instead. And because he did, he came within a few millimeters of losing his life last July.No.If the organizers and anarchists want to protest against "Kings" and unchecked abusive power, they might want to look into who is funding them or the past behavior of those they choose to give a free pass.Trump is the personification of our Founding Fathers and deserves to be recognized as such.0 Comments 0 Shares 9 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMResurfaced video shows NYC mayoral hopeful saying he wants to replace private homes with communal livingZohran Mamdani, the democratic socialist candidate for New York City mayor, has come under fire from critics who label him a "communist" a charge he dismisses as a distraction. However, the criticisms may not be as unfounded as Mamdani claims. Videos show the NYC mayoral candidate espousing language and theories rooted in communist revolutionary language. In one 2021 video, Mamdani urges fellow socialists at a conference to not compromise on goals like "seizing the means of production." In a second video, released on YouTube by progressive advocacy group The Gravel Institute that same year, Mamdani discusses the need to turn housing from a private commodity to a public one, calling for luxury condos to be replaced with communal style living that would include things like shared laundry facilities and food co-ops.POLITIFACT DECLARES ZOHRAN MAMDANI IS NOT A COMMUNIST IN FACT-CHECK OF TRUMP"Why do so many people end up homeless?" Mamdani asks in the video. "It's not because there aren't enough homes to go around, there are plenty of empty homes. No. It's because housing people is not a primary goal of developers or landlords. Their goal, simply put, is to make a profit."According to Mamdani, this is a problem. He lamented in the video that housing is "a consumer product, just like clothes or cars" that private businesses sell on the market to make a profit. As a result, Mamdani complains, there is plenty of housing for "the rich" but not nearly enough opportunities for poor and working-class people."[It's] not efficient or beneficial for the rest of society," Mamdani says. "Housing doesn't have to be seen as a market at all."FMR. OBAMA TREASURY SEC. CONCERNED ZOHRAN MAMDANI WILL HURT NEW YORK CITY IF ELECTED MAYORIn the video, Mamdani points to post-war communist Vienna as an example of how removing privatization from the housing market can be good for society. However, he does concede that currently in Vienna, "residents still pay part of their earnings in rent to cover operational costs and a sizable chunk of the population lives in private housing." After describing the so-called Vienna model, during which he puts forth a vision of communal living with shared laundry, kitchens, food co-ops, bathhouses, pharmacies, lecture halls, swimming pools and more, he suggests a way forward that includes establishing "community land trusts to gradually buy up housing on the private market and convert it to community ownership.""If we want to end the housing crisis, the solution has to be moving toward the full de-commodification of housing," Mamdani says. "In other words, moving away from the status quo in which most people access housing by purchasing it on the market and toward a future where we guarantee high quality housing to all as a human right."JONATHAN TURLEY: WHY NYC'S ZOHRAN MAMDANI LOOKS MORE AND MORE LIKE A HARDCORE MARXISTPresident Donald Trump has referred to Mamdani as a "100% Communist Lunatic" and vowed to "save New York City" from Mamdani if he gets elected. He has suggested a willingness to withhold federal funds from the city if Mamdani doesn't "behave." "As President of the United States, Im not going to let this Communist Lunatic destroy New York," Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social Wednesday. "Rest assured, I hold all the levers, and have all the cards. Ill save New York City, and make it 'Hot' and 'Great' again, just like I did with the Good Ol USA!"Fox News Digital reached out to Mamdani's campaign for comment but did not receive a response.0 Comments 0 Shares 9 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMACLU sues to block ICE raids in Southern California, alleging constitutional violationsThe American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of California has filed a class-action lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) demanding an immediate halt to what it describes as unlawful immigration raids across the Los Angeles area targeting migrants with "brown skin."The non-profit accuses Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of carrying out unconstitutional raids and then keeping migrants in inhumane conditions without beds and deprived of food and legal counsel. Homeland Security has denied all the claims in the lawsuit, saying that any accusations of racial profiling are "disgusting and categorically false."ICE has carried out sweeping raids since June 6, arresting around 1,500 immigrants, including Latino day laborers, car wash workers, farmworkers and vendors all in a bid to meet certain arrest quotas, the habeas petition states.ICE FLIPS SCRIPT ON LOS ANGELES MAYOR AFTER TELLING AUTHORITIES TO 'GO HOME'"The raids in this district follow a common, systematic pattern. Individuals with brown skin are approached or pulled aside by unidentified federal agents, suddenly and with a show of force and made to answer questions about who they are and where they are from," the lawsuit reads."If they hesitate, attempt to leave, or do not answer the questions to the satisfaction of the agents, they are detained, sometimes tackled, handcuffed, and/or taken into custody. In these interactions, agents typically have no prior information about the individual and no warrant of any kind."The lawsuit accuses the federal government of keeping detainees at an overcrowded holding facility, referred to as "B-18," inside windowless rooms that are extremely cramped. "In these dungeon-like facilities, conditions are deplorable and unconstitutional," the lawsuit reads.LA MAYOR BASS CLAIMS IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT CREATING GHOST TOWN EFFECT COMPARABLE TO COVID LOCKDOWNSAs well as seeking to block the raids, the suit demands that ICE refrain from using the B-18 center, as it is supposed to be a short-term ICE processing site, and that the federal government be held legally accountable for systemic racial profiling and due process violations. The defendants include Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons, Attorney General Pam Bondi and multiple regional ICE, CBP, and FBI officials operating in Los Angeles. The lawsuit was filed by a coalition of individual immigrants and immigrant advocacy organizations, led by the ACLU and the non-profit Public Counsel as well as other legal partners.Los Angeles has become a battleground in resisting President Donald Trumps election promise of carrying out the largest deportation raids in U.S. history. Protests in the City of Angels last month descended into riots as masked agitators burned driverless cars, damaged other property and threw rocks at moving law enforcement vehicles. The lawsuit comes as an estimated 150 to 200 anti-ICE protesters shut down the Sixth Street Bridge in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon. The bridge links downtown Los Angeles and Boyle Heights early. The protesters carried signs with messages reading: "Sick of ICE!" and "Eviction moratorium now!" while others chanted "ICE out of L.A.""This bridge has been the entry to Boyle Heights to kidnap community members and take them who knows where," organizer Christian Alcaraz told Fox 11.The protest was one of several rallies in the county on Tuesday as part of a day of action against immigration raids. In Koreatown, another rally was held.Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin refuted the claims made in the lawsuit.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP"Any claims that individuals have been targeted by law enforcement because of their skin color are disgusting and categorically false," she told Fox 11 via a statement on Wednesday, adding that the lawsuit's claims were "garbage."She also denied the claims about poor conditions at ICE facilities."Any claim that there are subprime conditions at ICE detention centers are false," McLaughlin said. "In fact, ICE has higher detention standards than most US prisons that hold actual US citizens. All detainees are provided with proper meals, medical treatment, and have opportunities to communicate with lawyers and their family members."0 Comments 0 Shares 9 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMTrump $3.3T megabill sets House record for longest vote in historyPresident Donald Trump's $3.3 trillion "big, beautiful bill" has reportedly set the House record for the longest vote in the history of the lower chamber of Congress. The procedural vote on the Senate-amended version of the bill lasted for more than seven hours. In 2021, the House spent seven hours and six minutes voting on former President Joe Biden's "Build Back Better" legislative package.Wednesday night's voting surpassed the previous record at 9:15 p.m. ET Wednesday by at least 15 minutes, according to Axios.Assistant House Minority Leader Joe Neguse, D-Colo., goaded House Republicans by claiming the protracted voting period Wednesday violated House rules, Axios reported.HOUSE ADVANCES TRUMP'S MASSIVE AGENDA BILL AFTER FISCAL HAWKS CAVEThe extended voting period came as House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., wrangled with members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus. They pushed back on the Senate's version of the megabill over its projected increase to the federal deficit, as well as what they deemed insufficient Medicaid reforms and spending cuts. Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, took issue with Senate revisions reintroducing green energy tax credits despite House efforts to roll back such programs. With the Democrats united in opposition, the future of the more than 800-page, Trump-backed legislative package depends on a handful of GOP holdouts.Following the overnight session, Johnson said Thursday he was determined to get the Senate-amended bill passed by the House and to the president's desk by the Independence Day deadline on Friday.TAX CUTS, WORK REQUIREMENTS AND ASYLUM FEES: HERE'S WHAT'S INSIDE THE SENATE'S VERSION OF TRUMP'S BILLLawmakers voted to proceed with debate on the Trump agenda bill in the early hours of Thursday a mechanism known as a "rule vote" teeing up a final House-wide vote sometime later Thursday morning.Speaking to reporters Thursday morning, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., said that beyond the House Freedom Caucus, some moderate Republicans also have final questions about how the megabill would be implemented."Some of them wanted to talk to some of the different agencies about, you know, how they're planning on implementing it, which obviously the agency heads have been planning for months on these changes," Scalise said. "So they walk through those things and that was helpful to members just to at least get a good idea of what to expect once the bill becomes law. Of course, none of it happens if the bill doesn't become law. So the focus has always been, let's get this bill passed."The Senate passed the "big, beautiful bill" by a razor-thin, 51-50 margin last week, with Vice President JD Vance casting the tie-breaking vote.Fox News' Liz Elkind and Tyler Olson contributed to this report.0 Comments 0 Shares 9 Views 0 Reviews
