Bernie Sanders says Israeli PM 'wrong' both in the past and now: 'We must not get involved in Netanyahus war'
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., issued a press release on Thursday in which he declared that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was "wrong" in the past and is again now.In the statement, Sanders pointed to comments Netanyahu made while speaking about Saddam Hussein at a U.S. congressional hearing in 2002.Netanyahu said at the time that "if you take out Saddam's regime," the move "will have enormous positive reverberations on the region." He said that there was "no question whatsoever" that the Iraqi leader was pursuing the "development of nuclear weapons."ISRAEL VOWS VENGEANCE AFTER IRAN TARGETS HOSPITAL WITH BALLISTIC MISSILE THURSDAY"Netanyahu was wrong. Very wrong. The war in Iraq resulted in 4,492 U.S. military deaths, over 32,000 wounded, and a cost of roughly three trillion dollars. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis also died as a result of that tragic war.Netanyahu was wrong regarding the war in Iraq. He is wrong now. We must not get involved in Netanyahus war against Iran," Sanders asserted in his statement.President Donald Trump has not ruled out the prospect of U.S. military intervention as Israel targets Iran in a bid to stop the rogue regime from achieving its nuclear weapons ambitions.US TROOPS IN THE MIDDLE EAST COULD FACE INCREASED THREATS AMID IRAN CONFLICT: IRREPARABLE DAMAGE"Based on the fact that there's a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks," President Trump said, according to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who read out the president's comment during a press briefing on Thursday.Trump has been clear that he opposes the prospect of Iran acquiring nuclear weapons.TRUMP TO MAKE IRAN DECISION WITHIN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS GIVEN CHANCE OF NEGOTIATIONS, LEAVITT SAYS"AMERICA FIRST means many GREAT things, including the fact that, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!" he declared in a Truth Social post on Monday.

Captain Cook's legendary ship finally identified near New England resort after 250 years
Maritime experts believe they've finally pinpointed the exact resting place of Captain James Cook's legendary ship just off the coast of a beloved New England resort town.A report about HMS Endeavour was published by the Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM) on June 3.In 1778, the British intentionally sank the ship off the coast of Newport, Rhode Island, in a strategic move to block French and American attacks.MYSTERIOUS 18TH-CENTURY WARSHIP UNEARTHED AT GROUND ZERO SITE GETS NEW HOMEWhile it has long been known that the 18th-century vessel lies off the coast of the Ocean State, its exact location has eluded marine historians. But now experts are sure that a Rhode Island state archaeological site named RI 2394 is the final resting place of the ship and they have decades of research to back it up.Also known as the "Kerry" site, the shipwreck is between 39 and 43 feet underwater, the report says. The site includes a "linear stone ballast pile, the eastern periphery of which features a line of partially exposed frame ends that are closely spaced and of substantial size," according to the report.OMINOUS LETTER WRITTEN BY 'PROPHETIC' TITANIC PASSENGER SELLS FOR SHOCKING SIX-FIGURE SUM AT AUCTION"Four iron cannons are also present on the site," the report continues. "Two are largely exposed above the seabed and lie immediately adjacent to one another on the western side of the site."The site also features remnants of floors, futtocks and a stanchion, which is a post that supported the ship's deck beams."By 2019, careful surface investigation of all shipwrecks located within the Limited Study Area determined RI 2394 was the most likely candidate for [the] ex-HMS Endeavour," the report said. The site meets 10 criteria that experts previously agreed upon. For more Lifestyle articles, visit foxnews.com/lifestyleThese include a lack of American timbers, a European elm keel, and evidence of hull repairs matching what is known about HMS Endeavour. The ship also has scuttling holes to prove it was intentionally sunk, and overall possessed "architectural features matching those of Endeavour."The report concluded, "RI 2394 is the largest shipwreck site within the LSA and exhibits attributes that fulfill the criteria.""Consequently, the preponderance of evidence supports this shipwreck sites identification as [HMS Endeavour] and at the same time discounts any of the other investigated shipwreck sites as that of James Cooks renowned ship of exploration."CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR LIFESTYLE NEWSLETTERThe Endeavour holds great significance in Australian history as the first European vessel to reach the country's eastern coast. After the ship sailed the world, it was sold to a private citizen in Feb. 1775 and renamed "Lord Sandwich" before it was scuttled.Marine archaeologists across the world are actively discovering countless numbers of shipwrecks per year.Just last week, officials announced that they had discovered a 16th-century shipwreck at record depth in French waters.Off the coast of Ireland, underwater archaeologists recently found an 18th-century vessel that is believed to be a long-lost treasure ship.

Chiefs sued by former employee alleging racial discrimination after being accused of attacking female coworker
The Kansas City Chiefs are being sued by former NFL defensive back Ramzee Robinson, who previously worked as the team's director of player engagement.Robinson is alleging wrongful termination after accusing the franchise of discriminating against him because he is Black.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMHe filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri on Sunday. In the lawsuit, Robinson claims that he was called into a meeting in February and accused of attacking a female co-worker, and that the Chiefs refused to show him security video of the encounter. Robinson ultimately was fired from his position, which involved locker room management, mentorship and other responsibilities within the team.ABDUL CARTER WHIFFS ON ANOTHER GIANTS LEGEND'S NUMBER: 'JUST MY LAST NAME ON MY JERSEY'The lawsuit claims that Robinson was paid a salary of $125,000 by the Chiefs, but that his research found other NFL teams paid comparable positions an average salary of $171,932, not including other benefits. It also claims that "the Chiefs paid African-American business employees less than their white counterparts."Chiefs spokesman Brad Gee told The Associated Press on Wednesday that while he could not comment on pending legal matters, "to be clear, the Chiefs do not tolerate discrimination of any kind."Robinson spent nine years working for the Chiefs in a front office role.Robinson was the final player chosen in the 2007 draft by Detroit. Caitlin Clark has rare shooting woes as Fever fall to Valkyries following fiery Sun matchup
The Indiana Fever did not have to come to Caitlin Clarks defense this time, but the Golden State Valkyries did not make it easy on her on Thursday night.Clark, coming off a game that involved a lot of extracurricular activity after the whistle between herself and the Connecticut Sun, was not her usual sharp-shooting self in the Fevers 88-77 loss to the Valkyries on the road.Clark shot just 3-of-14 from the field, including her seven failed three-point attempts going through the hoop, as the Fever ended up blowing a 13-point lead in this game to fall to 6-6 on the year.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMClark tallied 11 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, while turning the ball over six times to Golden State. While Clark struggled from beyond the arc, her teammates did not fare that much better. As a team, the Fever shot just 8-of-29 from three-point land, with Sophie Cunningham, who had been dubbed Clarks "bodyguard" on the court after the previous game against the Sun, being the only one to hit more than one of her attempts.SOME VITRIOL TOWARD CAITLIN CLARK IS SELF-INDUCED, ESPN'S STEPHEN A SMITH SAYSMeanwhile, the Valkyries, led by Kayla Thorntons 16-point night with five three-pointers, now own the same 6-6 record. Golden State also saw major contributions off the bench, with Tiffany Hayes (14 points, five assists, three rebounds), Chloe Bibby (12 points, three rebounds, one assist) and Laeticia Amihere (10 points, three rebounds, three assists) all helping their team overcome a double-digit deficit in the end.For Indiana, Aliyah Boston led the team with 17 points, while Kelsey Mitchell (16 points) and Natasha Howard (13 points) all landed in double digits in that category. However, turnovers played a large factor in the Fever losing their lead, as the Valkyries forced 17 total while committing just seven. This uncharacteristic performance from Clark specifically comes after getting poked in the eye and being shoved to the ground in a very physical WNBA Commissioners Cup game against the Sun on Tuesday night.Clark was being guarded by Jacy Sheldon when the Sun guard poked her in the eye, and the Fever superstar retaliated by pushing her away. That led to the Suns Marina Mabrey running over and shoving Clark to the ground while her back was turned. A skirmish broke out, but it would not be the end for both teams.Later in the game, Cunningham wrapped up Sheldon while she was trying to score a basket in the fourth quarter, and it escalated to the point when both players got ejected after their physical altercation underneath the hoop.Indiana ended up winning the game, 88-71, with Clark totaling 20 points and six assists. It was just her second game since returning from injury. However, this certainly is not the way Clark or the Fever wanted to respond after that chippy game against the Sun. Their next opportunity to get back in the win column will be Sunday against the Las Vegas Aces.Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X, and subscribe tothe Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

'No basis in reality': Expert turns tables on key Democrat claim against Trump's 'big, beautiful bill'
Democrats inWashington, D.C., are misrepresenting major criticisms of President Trumps "big beautiful bill" with incorrect facts, according to an expert who spoke to Fox News Digital this week as Trumps budget reconciliation package is debated in Congress."The bill doesn't cut benefits for anyone who has income below the poverty line, anyone who is working at least 20 hours a week and not caring for a child, and people who are Americans," Jim Agresti, president and cofounder of Just Facts, told Fox News Digital in response to criticisms from Democrats and a handful of Republicans, including Sen. Josh Hawley, that Trumps bill will cut Medicaid and disproportionately hurt the poor."In other words, it cuts out illegal immigrants who are not Americans and fraudsters. So that narrative has no basis in reality. See, what's been going on since the Medicaid program was started? Is that it's been expanded and expanded and extended. You know, it got its start in 1966. And since that time, the poverty rate has stayed roughly level around 11% to 15%. While the portion of people in the United States on Medicaid has skyrocketed from 3% to 29%. Right now, 2.5 times more people are on Medicaid than are in poverty."Medicaid cuts and reform have been amajor sticking point with Democrats, whohave merged data from two new reports from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) to back up claims that nearly 14 million would lose coverage. The White House and Republicans have objected, as not all the policy proposals evaluated were actually included in Republicans' legislation, and far fewer people would actually face insurance loss.HOW JOHNSON PULLED OFF ANOTHER IMPOSSIBLE WIN WITH JUST 1-VOTE MARGIN ON $9.4B SPENDING CUT BILLInstead, Republicans argue that their proposed reforms to implement work requirements, strengthen eligibility checks and crack down on Medicaid for illegal immigrants preserve the program for those who really need it."I agree," Dem. Rep. Jasmine Crockettsaid in response to a claim on CNN that Republicans "want poor people to die" with Medicaid cuts.Agresti told Fox News Digital that the Medicaid cuts are aimedat bringing people out of poverty and waste."It's putting some criteria down to say, 'Hey, if you want this, and you're not in poverty, you need to work,'" Agresti said. "You need to do something to better your situation, which is what these programs are supposed to be, lifting people out of poverty, not sticking them there for eternity. So the whole idea is to get people working, give them an incentive. Hey, if you want to do better in life, and you want this Medicaid coverage, then you have to earn it."Independent Sen. Bernie Sandershas claimed the bill is a "death sentence for the working class," because it raises health insurance "copayments for poor people."DEMS 'DELIBERATELY OBFUSCATING' TRUTH ABOUT 'BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL' WITH THIS CLAIM: WATCHDOGAgresti called that claim "outlandish.""First of all, the Big Beautiful Bill does not raise copayments on anyone who's below the poverty line," he explained. "Now, for people who are above the poverty line, it requires states to at least charge some sort of copayment, and it also reduces, actually, the max copayment from $100 per visit to $35 per visit."Agresti went on to explain that under the current system, "people have basically free rein to just go to a doctor or an emergency room or any other place without any co-payment, and they're not in poverty.""What ends up happening is they waste a ton of money," Agresti said. "This has been proven through randomized control trials, which are the gold standard for social science analysis, where you have people in a lottery system, some people get the benefit, and some people don't, and what you end up seeing is that people who don't have to have skin in the game, abuse emergency rooms, they go there for a stuffy nose, rack up all this money, and it does nothing to improve their health. It's just wasteful."In a statement to Fox News Digital, Sanders Communications Director Anna Bahr said, "Mr. Agrestis facts here are simply incorrect."Sanders' office added that "nearly half of all enrollees on the ACA exchanges are Republicans" and pointed to the House-passed reconciliation bill that Sanders' office argues "says that if a worker cant navigate the maze of paperwork that the bill creates for Medicaid enrollees, they are barred from receiving ACA tax credits as well.""But workers must earn at least $15,650 per year to qualify for tax credits on the ACA marketplaces approximately equal to the annual income for a full-time worker earning the federal minimum wage."Sanders' office also pointed to "CBO estimates that 16 million people will lose insurance as a result of the House-passed bill and the Republicans ending the ACAs enhanced premium tax credits."Sanders' office also reiterated that the House-passed bill makes a "fundamental change" to copay for Medicaid beneficiaries, shifting from optional to mandatory."While claiming that Im incorrect, Sanders staff fails to provide a single fact that shows the BBB cuts health care for poor working Americans," Agresti responded."Its especially laughable that they cite expanded Obamacare subsidies in this context, because people in poverty arent even eligible for them," Agresti continued. "After this temporary' Covid-era handout expires, people with incomes up to 400% of the federal poverty level or $150,600 for a family of five will still be eligible for this welfare program, although they will receive less."Agresti argued that the claim a "max $35 copay (for people who are not poor) hurts working families" is not supported by research "which makes generalizations and merely cites associations.'""As commonly taught in high school math, association doesnt prove causation," Agresti said.Sanders' office told Fox News Digital, "Mr. Agresti seems to believe that a working family of four earning only $32,150 per year doesnt deserve help affording their health care. Health care in the United States is more expensive than anywhere in the world. Terminating health care coverage for 16 million Americans and increasing health care costs for millions will make it harder for working people to afford the health care they need, even if Mr. Agresti doesnt agree."Agresti also took issue with the narrative that cuts cannot be made to Medicaid without cutting benefits to people who are entitled to them."The Government Accountability Office has put out figures that are astonishing, hundreds of billions of dollars a year are going to waste," Agresti said. "So, yeah, some criteria to make sure that doesn't happen is a wise idea. Unfortunately, there is a ton of white-collar crime in this country, and this kind of crime is a white-collar crime. It's not committed with a gun, or by robbing or punching someone, it's committed by fraud, and there's an enormous amount of it."And the big, beautiful bill, again, seeks to rein that in by putting a criteria to make sure we're checking people's income, we're checking their assets. A lot of these federal programs, government health care programs, they've stopped checking assets. So you could be a lottery winner sitting on $3 million in cash and have very little income. And still get children's health insurance program benefits for your kids."Hawley said on Monday that he did not have a problem with some of the marquee changes to Medicaid that his House Republican counterparts wanted, including stricter work requirements, booting illegal immigrants from benefit rolls and rooting out waste, fraud and abuse in the program that serves tens of millions of Americans. However, he noted that about 1.3 million Missourians rely on Medicaid and the Childrens Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and contended that most were working."These are not people who are sitting around, these are people who are working," he said. "Theyre on Medicaid because they cannot afford private health insurance, and they don't get it on the job.""And I just think it's wrong to go to those people and say, Well, you know, we know you're doing the best, we know that you're working hard, but we're going to take away your health care access," he continued.Fox News Digitals Diana Stancy and Alex Miller contributed to this report.

Cleared of murder charges after her second trial, Karen Read of Massachusetts could pursue legal action against a number of individuals and government entities involved in the case against her, according to legal analysts."She has a way to sue both the individual officers who are violating her privacy who did an investigation that was not complete, that was inaccurate, that was incompetent," said Linda Kenney Baden, a New York City defense attorney whose clients have included Aaron Hernandez, Phil Spector and Casey Anthony."And also she (may) sue the Commonwealth and the Massachusetts State Police for not training their officers to do a competent investigation and training their officers not to invade her privacy and which results in her false arrest under the Constitution of the United States."She may also have a malicious prosecution claim, Kenney Baden said.VINDICATED KAREN READ THANKS 'GREATEST' LEGAL TEAM AS JURORS DELIVER NOT GUILTY VERDICT IN BOYFRIEND'S DEATHRead lost two jobs after being charged with murder, a charge she was cleared of Wednesday, and sold her house to help cover multimillion-dollar legal fees.Under the circumstances, the more people or entities she sues who are covered by insurance, the better."She wants a whole bunch of lawyers in, because she wants policies, money, policies to collect against," Kenney Baden said.KAREN READ MURDER CASE VERDICT REACHED AFTER DEADLOCKED FIRST TRIALOn the other hand, she's facing a lawsuit of her own from O'Keefe's family."The more money that she can get, the more money that the O'Keefes are going to seek," the lawyer said. UN nuclear chief says Iran has material to build bombs, but no plan to do so
As President Donald Trump weighs joining Israel's war to destroy Iran's nuclear capabilities, the world's chief nuclear official tells Fox News that he sees no evidence Iran's leaders are racing to build a nuclear bomb.International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi said, "We have confirmed that Iran does have, even now, enough material for several warheads."But this should not be equated with a nuclear weapon," Grossi continued, adding, "We do not have at this point, if you ask me, at this time, any tangible proof that there is a program, or a plan, to fabricate, to manufacture a nuclear weapon."IAEA CHIEF CALLS ISRAELI PRESIDENT, REPORTEDLY SAYS IRAN NUCLEAR FACILITY WAS SEVERELY DAMAGEDInspectors from Grossi's agency, which is the United Nations' nuclear watchdog, are tasked with monitoring Iran's nuclear activities. The IAEA has not been able to carry out inspections since Israel began attacking sites earlier this month but has been making extensive use of satellite imagery. When asked by Fox News whether Iran's nuclear program had been set back dramatically by Israel's attacks to date, Grossi said, "No, I wouldn't say so."I think there have been a number of important military attacks and impacts," he said. "But it is very clear, and everybody agrees on this, that not everything has been taken out."He also argued that military action alone would not be enough to undo what Iran has learned in several decades of nuclear research."One thing is the physical damage," Grossi said. "But then there is the knowledge factor, and the fact that it is very difficult to roll back the knowledge that a country has acquired."Iran has blamed Israel for the killings of multiple Iranian nuclear scientists over many years, including several in recent days. The IAEA censured Iran on June 12, just hours before Israel launched its wave of attacks, for failing to comply with commitments meant to prevent it from developing a nuclear weapon.EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT AYATOLLAH ALI KHAMENEI, SUPREME LEADER OF IRANHowever, despite the IAEA reprimand, and the current fighting, Grossi insists a diplomatic solution remains a viable option."I believe that there is a way to take this danger -- or this concern -- out of the table in a negotiated way."I've been in conversations, very good conversations, with [President Trump's envoy] Steve Witkoff and with the Iranians as well," Grossi said."I believe there are ways in which we can make sure that Iran does not get a nuclear weapon. I think this is ultimately what Israel wants and what the United States has declared."We are the international corps of inspectors, and we know what you would need to check in order to prevent this from happening."We believe that the opportunity should be seized, as President Trump said, but of course the space for that is narrowing."

DAVID MARCUS: Your social media feed is being hijacked to divide MAGA supporters
As our society buries itself deeper and deeper into the cave of social media, we are seeing a growing divide between what happens in our real world and what we see on platforms like X and TikTok.A bombshell new report from the National Contagion Research Institute shows much of this is being directed by our foreign enemies. It also shows one of their top goals is to infiltrate and divide the MAGA movement.BATTLEGROUND STATE OFFICIALS SAY FOREIGN ENEMIES USING MISINFO TO 'UNDERMINE DEMOCRATIC PROCESSAccording to NCRI, Russia and Iran have been employing tens of thousands of bots to inject extreme rhetoric into American social media discourse, and perhaps more importantly, to artificially inflate the influence of content creators who push radical and divisive agendas. To quote one NCRI analyst, "If you talk to Republicans right now, more than 80% of them support the war against Iran. But if you go on Twitter [X] you get the sense that there is a civil war raging."This manipulation of social media by our enemies is far more insidious than most Americans realize, so let's walk through how this kind of information operation, the technical name for propaganda, works.Imagine, for example, that there was an obscure comedian, or Instagram model who began to "just ask questions," about why Jews run everything, or why black people commit crimes.Even better, they might post about how they arent allowed to ask these very questions and insinuate that neither are you.At this point, according to the report, Russian and Iranian bot armies will begin to follow these radical accounts, massively pumping up their numbers. It will like and share the most divisive content, and work behind the scenes to make this person famous. On platforms that monetize interaction, this can mean very large payouts for creators, as spy bots mindlessly watch their videos over and over, and the beauty of it is that the content creator never even has to know they are getting paid off. When we talk about influencers being bought and paid for by foreign foes, it may not mean a duffle bag full of cash in a bus station locker, simply by using thousands of bots to juice the numbers, the social media companies themselves facilitate the payouts.Perhaps the most obvious way we can see this malign foreign influence online is in the incredible amount of casual racism and antisemitism, supposedly being posted by Americans, that we see on X.These hate posts range from straight-up Nazi apologism, to memes about fatherless black homes, or weird eugenics IQ graphs, and if their prevalence in the algorithm accurately reflects the level of racism in America, then this is a deeply racist country.Only it isnt. Because X does not accurately reflect our society, instead countries that despise America are infusing hate into the platform and propping up the handful of real people willing to push racism and division. What the Russian and Iranian bot farms hope we will believe is that America is full of secret racists who will only say their true beliefs through their anonymous personas, but this is absurd, America knows IRL, that that kind of racism is buried in our past. The question becomes, what can we do to fight back against this massive information operation aimed at our minds?Liberals have long taken the exact wrong approach, which is to try to protect the end user from malicious content. This always adds up to censorship, one way or the other. The better approach, at least as far as the government is concerned, is to target the bot farms and countries that back them. This can be done through cyberattacks, sanctions, any number of measures.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONThere is also a role for the social media industry to play here. We are hearing growing calls for X to use a flag to identify the country of origin of its accounts. This would immediately help users see through the foreign operations. The silver lining in all of this, as the report shows, is that making the leap from influence on a social media screen to influence in the real world is not as easy as we might have once imagined. These foreign-backed influencers have few outlets they can go to off of social media. Sure, Piers Morgan may put on anyone with 250k followers no matter how awful they are, but Main Street America isnt seeing it.As a free society, America is by definition vulnerable to informational attacks, and as citizens in that free society all of us bear a responsibility to process the unfettered flow of information we have access to in responsible ways.Make no mistake, your social media feed is under direct foreign attack. So far, the attacks havent done too much damage, but keeping it that way, first and foremost, starts with all of us.CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM DAVID MARCUS
