Diddy's alleged 'sexual deviant' behavior distracts from government's case: expert
    www.foxnews.com
Sean "Diddy" Combs' ex-girlfriend provided the jury more insight into the rapper's life outside his music mogul status when she returned to the witness stand Tuesday for cross-examination in his federal trial for sex crimes.Using a pseudonym, "Jane" testified that she broached the subject of rehab for the "Last Night" rapper after allegedly witnessing him "overdoing the partying." She claimed he would offer her ecstasy before engaging in role play and that Diddy liked to use the words "voyeurism" and "escapism" to describe his fantasies of watching her participate in sexual encounters with male escorts.Attorney David Seltzer told Fox News Digital that while Jane's testimony was compelling, her claims did little to aid in the prosecution's case to convict Diddy of the five charges he's facing.DIDDY'S EX PAUSES TRIAL TESTIMONY FOLLOWING STAND-OFF WITH RAPPER'S LAWYER"The testimony from the latest witness, Jane, continues to show the world that Mr. Combs is a sexual deviant," Seltzer said. "Someone who thought he was untouchable and above the law. Still, while there is no doubt Mr. Combs broke multiple laws. The charges he is facing in federal court are not laws he has broken."Janes testimony, voice notes and all, while chilling and demonstrate Mr. Combs controlling behavior, does not, in my opinion, prove the governments case. Rather, it further depicts Mr. Combs as morally reprehensible and as such someone the jury should convict."DIDDY'S EX'S TESTIMONY COULD PROVIDE POWERFUL CORROBORATION TO ALLEGATIONS IN SEX CRIMES TRIAL: EXPERTFormer federal prosecutor Neahma Rahmani told Fox News Digital that this case "comes down to coercion versus consent.""Combs' lawyers cross-examined victim Jane the entire day and suggested that Jane chose to participate in the hotel nights. For the first time, we heard the defense's theory of their case," Rahmani said."Combs' lawyers also suggested that he was a drug addict and taking antidepressants, likely to play the sympathy card for the jury."During cross-examination, Jane said in 2022 she was trying to figure out her relationship with Diddy and came upon the term "cuckold," a word for a man turned on watching his woman have sex with another man.According to Jane, she wanted to know what was driving the rapper and to find an understanding of his alleged fantasies. She said she found multiple reasons, including that a "cuckold" derives pleasure from seeing his woman receive pleasure from another man. Jane testified that "cucks" could also have a curiosity that they were too ashamed to experience themselves, so they used a woman.Jane claimed Diddy liked to use voyeurism and escapism. "I would use the work 'cuck' for him," she told his defense lawyers. She also testified that Diddy was upfront with her about dating multiple women at the start of their relationship in 2021.LIKE WHAT YOURE READING? CLICK HERE FOR MORE ENTERTAINMENT NEWSShe explained the rapper was "polyamorous" and she was OK with that at the time. She testified at first she didnt mind because she was just getting to know Diddy. According to Jane, she was forced to participate in "hotel nights." During these sessions, which could last from 24 hours to multiple days, she was allegedly expected to have sex with other men while Diddy watched.CLICK HERE TO GET THE ENTERTAINMENT NEWSLETTERWhile on the stand, Jane told defense lawyer Teny Geragos that she had been texting Diddy about him buying purses for another woman. Geragos commented that Jane received a bag of her own."No, I only got trauma after three-and-a-half years, I really dont think I garnered anything," Jane told the court. Geragos pressed, "How much do Bottega bags cost?"to which Jane replied, "How much does my body cost?" before asking the court for a break from testimony. When court resumed, Jane apologized to Geragos."She claimed to be righteous and was going to walk away from Mr. Combs after her ask of 3 months of continued financial support, but here we are over a year later and Mr. Combs is still paying her rent and legal fees as she testified against him," Seltzer said."Is that the testimony of a victim? Is that the face of fear? I think Jane is primed to really help boost the defense case when all these points are honed in on."In a federal indictment unsealed on Sept. 17, Combs was charged with racketeering conspiracy (RICO); sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution. If found guilty, he faces a minimum of 15 years behind bars or a maximum sentence of life in prison. He has maintained his innocence throughout the trial, in which witnesses have testified to alleged rape, sexual assault, severe physical abuse, forced labor and drug trafficking. The trial is expected to wrap by July 4.Fox News Digital's Lauryn Overhultz contributed to this report.

Rodney King riots officer says LA mayor acted too late as anti-ICE violence engulfs city
    www.foxnews.com
A former Los Angeles Police Department detective who was on the force during the 1992 Rodney King riots said that Democrat Mayor Karen Bass was too late in calling for law and order to be restored as riots broke out in the city this week.President Donald Trump deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles as anti-ICE violence escalated over the weekend, prompting pushback from Democrat California Gov. Gavin Newsom. On Monday, the U.S. Northern Command announced that 700 Marines would be sent to the greater Los Angeles area to help protect federal property and agents.LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell said on Tuesday his department made 197 arrests, with 130 of those occurring near Commercial and Alameda, and the other 67 occurring after protesters occupied the 101 freeway. The LAPD said it arrested 96 people overnight Monday during protests in the downtown area.Charges included assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, failure to disperse and looting and arson. One person was arrested for attempted murder with a Molotov cocktail.TRUMP TAKES ACTION AGAINST 'ORCHESTRATED ATTACK' ON LAW ENFORCEMENT BY DEPLOYING MARINES TO LA: ASSEMBLYMANPolice have used tear gas in an attempt to disperse protesters. Numerous businesses in the Los Angeles area were also looted.Moses Castillo, a former LAPD detective, told Fox News Digital that Bass was too late in calling for order to be restored."She's now trying to play catch up," Castillo said. "I think if she would have been very more forceful in the beginning that we're not gonna tolerate these crimes and allow police officers to do their job and arrest people on site, I'd think it would have be different. Instead, she's now saying it now that these crimes would not be tolerated, looting would not tolerated. But it's a little bit too late."Fox News Digital reached out to Bass' office.Castillo said that he thinks both sides are using the violent protests to attack each other, something he says needs to stop.MAYOR BASS BLAMES TRUMP'S ICE RAIDS FOR STARTING RIOTS WHILE CLAIMING 'THINGS IN LA ARE CALM'"I believe that both sides, the president, Governor Newsom, are using the media waves to attack one another," Castillo said. "To me, that's like going back to high school, really. I think they wanted to do is come to the table. Let's have a face-to-face, let's have a meeting, let's hash out the issues, and let's find solutions.""They're not united in this front," he added.Castillo recalled being an LAPD trainee during the Rodney King race riots in 1992, and said "History is repeating itself."CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP"Here, people are upset about the immigration policies of this current White House administration and the difference also being is we're in a time where social media is instant. Musk says he regrets social media posts targeting Trump: 'They went too far'
    www.foxnews.com
Tech executive Elon Musk said Wednesday that he regrets making some of his recent social media posts attacking President Donald Trump, admitting they went "too far.""I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far," Musk wrote on X.This comes after a recent public spat between the two as Musk began criticizing Trump for his "big beautiful" spending bill after the billionaire tech executive spent months working to cut wasteful spending as part of the Department of Government Efficiency, which Musk has since departed. At one point, Musk claimed Trump was in the Justice Department's files on its investigation into accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, saying that was why the president's administration has not made them public.MUSK SIGNALS POTENTIAL SOFTENING OF FEUD WITH SIMPLE ONE EMOJI RESPONSE TO CLIP OF TRUMP WISHING HIM WELL"Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files," Musk wrote. "That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!"Musk later deleted the post.Other posts from Musk included a claim that Trump would not have won the election without his help while accusing Trump of "ingratitude." In another post, Musk suggested that Trump should be impeached and replaced by Vice President Vance.Trump said last week he is not interested in talking to Musk, telling Fox News that "Elon's totally lost it."The president also said while speaking with reporters in the Oval Office last week that he was "very disappointed" in Musks vocal criticisms of his spending bill. Trump claimed Musk knew what was in the bill and "had no problem" with it until electric vehicle incentives were cut, an assessment Musk slammed as "false."TIMELINE: INSIDE THE EVOLVING RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TRUMP AND MUSK FROM FIRST TERM TO THIS WEEK'S FALLOUTTrump also criticized Musk on social media, saying in one post: "Elon was 'wearing thin,' I asked him to leave, I took away his EV Mandate that forced everyone to buy Electric Cars that nobody else wanted (that he knew for months I was going to do!), and he just went CRAZY!"But this week, Musk and Trump have appeared to soften their stances against one another."We had a great relationship and I wish him well very well, actually," Trump said on Monday.Musk, who had also been Trump's senior advisor before his recent exit from the federal government, responded to the clip with a heart emoji. The public spat between the two billionaires appeared to be losing steam after Musk seemingly issued support for Trump's response to the anti-ICE demonstrations in Los Angeles."Governor Gavin Newscum and Mayor Bass should apologize to the people of Los Angeles for the absolutely horrible job that theyve done, and this now includes the ongoing L.A. riots. These are not protesters, they are troublemakers and insurrectionists," Trump said late Sunday in a post Musk shared.Musk also reacted to a post by Vance, who shared a screenshot of a post from Trump about how his administration would address the demonstrations in Los Angeles."This moment calls for decisive leadership," Vance said along with the screenshot. "The president will not tolerate rioting and violence."Musk responded to the post with a pair of American flag emojis.Fox News' Andrew Mark Miller contributed to this report.

Martha's Vineyard residents fume over arrests of illegal immigrants in liberal enclave
    www.foxnews.com
Marthas Vineyard residents are unhappy with the Trump administration deporting illegal immigrants from their liberal enclave, The Washington Post reported this week. The community has been reeling since Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officers arrested dozens of illegal immigrants in a recent raid, according to the report."Its bullying," one Marthas Vineyard resident, Charlie Giordano, told the Post. "I dont know how many are illegal or legal, I dont give a s---. But I do care about how theyre treated."TRUMP ADMIN ASKS SCOTUS TO AUTHORIZE RAPID MIGRANT DEPORTATIONS TO COUNTRIES OTHER THAN THEIR OWNThe Washington Posts story on the Marthas Vineyard ICE raid comes as the federal law enforcement agency has been the focus of riots in downtown Los Angeles for the past several days.ICE agents carried out operations at businesses across Los Angeles on Friday, sparking protests and clashes outside multiple locations that grew so chaotic that President Donald Trump ordered National Guard troops into the city, followed by several hundred U.S. Marines, to restore order. Some California officials, including Gov. Gavin Newsom, have accused the administration of exacerbating the situation. As the Post reported, ICE agents performed a massive sting throughout Massachusetts in late May that resulted in nearly 1,500 arrests. Forty of those arrests happened on the two islands of Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket.RIOTERS SMASH WINDOWS AT LAPD HEADQUARTERS AS ANTI-ICE AGITATORS CLASH WITH AUTHORITIESThe arrests have ignited "fear among undocumented workers who form the backbone of the workforce here just as the busy summer season gets underway," the outlet reported."After the raid, many immigrants panicked and shuttered themselves indoors. Many spoke to The Washington Post only on the condition of anonymity because they fear being targeted the next time ICE arrives on the island. They recounted taking extraordinary measures that day and in the week after to protect themselves," the Post said, adding that the liberal community on the island had been shaken as well."The arrests hit a nerve in a liberal enclave known for welcoming everyone: presidents former president Barack Obama has an oceanfront property here LGBTQ+ activists, racial minorities, celebrities and a large cluster of immigrants from Brazil," the paper noted. One Brazilian resident, who admitted to the Post he is undocumented, warned that the local economy will crater because of the arrests and deportations.CALIFORNIA LT. GOVERNOR SAYS LOS ANGELES RIOTS ARE 'GENERATED BY DONALD TRUMP'The anonymous man, who also owns three businesses in Marthas Vineyard, said, "The money is just going to stop flowing. The U.S. is only losing in pushing us out."The Island has become a safe haven for many illegal immigrants from Brazil in recent decades as they fled their home country due to hyperinflation and other economic problems. According to the outlet, many came over on work or tourist visas, but ended up staying in the country. The Post reported that these immigrants "established businesses offering food and cleaning services that are now crucial to daily life in a resort town. Today there are few restaurant menus here that dont offer Brazilian-inspired options like croquettes or traditional cheesy bread." It noted just how prevalent the Portuguese language is within the community as well.An anonymous Brazilian woman, who owns a business and has raised three children on the island, told the paper, "The American people love us because we work so hard to help the community prosper and grow.""This was a safe place," she added.CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE OF MEDIA AND CULTUREResidents said that the recent arrests "felt arbitrary and included valued community members who had committed no crime," according to the Post. A Brazilian pastor on the island told the outlet, "ICE would come here to get criminals and that is good. But the way they did it now, that was not it."However, the paper acknowledged ICEs recent statement disputing those claims. According to the agency, more than half of all the illegal immigrants detained in Massachusetts last month had a criminal record.ICE did not immediately reply to Fox News Digital's request for comment.Marthas Vineyard was at the center of the nations immigration debate in 2022, when Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis ordered 50 illegal immigrants detained in Florida to be flown to the island. DeSantis was attempting to highlight the record influx of migrants at the southern border.

US warfighters are losing a massive force multiplier advantage as China advances in space
    www.foxnews.com
U.S. dominance in space has long served as a massive force multiplier for the American warfighter. Today, that dominance is increasingly powered by commercial space companies delivering advanced technologiesfrom daily Earth observation images to satellite-based internet and global telecom networks. These capabilities help our troops navigate, detect, and act faster than adversaries. But as global tensions escalate, American leadership is at riskfrom both foreign adversaries and shortsighted decisions at home.During aMay 14th hearing, Rep. Seth Moulton warned that the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) had reportedly slashed funding for commercial satellite imagery in the next fiscal budget. These proposed cuts arent just a threat to the warfighter and our national securitythey also jeopardize the viability of the U.S. commercial space sector.MIND-BOGGLING: SPACE FORCE CHIEF FIRES OFF DIRE WARNING ABOUT CHINESE CAPABILITY TO KNOCK OUT US SATELLITESFrom battlefield targeting to situational awareness, todays missions increasingly rely on persistent commercial satellite coverage. Weakening that capability leads to slower decisions, reduced effectiveness, and greater risk for U.S. and allied forces. These cuts threaten to undermine our intelligence capabilities and weaken our edge in the global space race.China is wasting no time. Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co. (CGST), a Chinese government-funded commercial imaging company, operates over 100 satellites and an advanced communication architecture, and is positioning itself to disrupt markets, shape global norms, and collect intelligence at scale. This represents a significant advancement in Chinas satellite imaging and communication capabilities, and according to Western intelligence officials,Chinese commercial satelliteshave been used by Russia to image critical Ukrainian infrastructure, including nuclear power plants, in preparation for missile strikes. This is part of a troubling trend: authoritarian regimes are weaponizing commercial space faster than we are defending against it.Ironically, our allies and partners often adopt these American-made technologies faster than our own government. Allied defense agencies are incorporating U.S. commercial imagery and analytics more effectively than the very agencies that helped develop them. The RAND Corporationrecently citedUkraines use of U.S. commercial space technology as an asymmetric advantage over Russia. Their report concluded: "U.S. policymakers should continue developing robust contract arrangements with commercial space providers."Yet less than 1% of combined Department of Defense and Intelligence Community budgets are spent on commercial space. Even senior intelligence officials recognize the problem. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbardrecently notedthat government agencies often reinvent tools the private sector has already developed more efficiently. Although commercial satellites generate terabytes of data daily, the government uses only a fraction. Decision-makers at NRO and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) still prioritize bespoke, classified satellites that take years to build and cost exponentially more than comparable commercial alternatives available now. They also create large, vulnerable targets for adversaries, while dual-use capabilities are far more practically and perceptively resilient. After the Cold War, America took its space dominance for granted and came to rely on Russian rockets to transport American astronauts. We cant afford to make the same mistake with commercial satellite technology. While bipartisan support for commercial space innovation exists, it must now be matched with decisive and sustained investment. Instead of cutting vital initiatives, successful programs like the Electro-Optical Commercial Layer (EOCL) must be safeguarded and expanded. Procurement processes must be modernized across defense and intelligence agencies to keep up with fast-moving private-sector technologies. That means sending a clear, consistent demand signalnot the instability of continuing resolutions or last-minute reversals.Cutting support for commercial space assets also contradicts President Trumps national security priorities. The president has accurately recognized space as "the next war-fighting domain." His administration has supported private-sector innovation and issuedexecutive ordersfavoring commercial-first procurement. But rhetoric isnt enoughwe need structural reform. Congress often funds commercial programs only for agencies to "reinterpret" the intent and redirect resources toward building bespoke government systems. This raises a critical question: does it make sense to house commercial funding inside agencies that are institutionally incentivized to build their own satellites?CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONCongress should consider placing these funds in neutral entities that can acquire and deliver commercial capabilities across government. Agencies can focus on the exquisite systems only they can build, while commercial providers offer scalable, persistent solutions that adapt quickly to battlefield needs. In his second term, President Trump has a historic opportunity to usher in another era of American space dominancewhile giving the warfighter the tools and information they need. But this future hinges on a thriving commercial space sector supported by smart, forward-thinking policy.Leaders in Washington must decide: will they let outdated thinking keep the worlds best space technology off the battlefieldand allow China to seize the upper hand? Or will this White House break free from business-as-usual, invest in American commercial space capabilities, and secure our leadership in the most critical domain of the 21st century? The answer should be obviousand it is imperative.

Former World No 1 recreates Oakmont's conditions at home as he seeks first major win in nearly a decade
    www.foxnews.com
It's been a while since Jason Day has been in the winner's circle of a major. His lone major victory is approaching its 10-year anniversary (Aug. 16, to be exact) when the Australian took home the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits during a run when Day was the most dominant golfer on the planet and ranked No. 1 in the world. But since then, it's been a roller coaster. He has battled numerous injuries and went winless over a five-year span. In early 2023, he was ranked 175th.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMEntering the U.S. Open, he ranks 39th. And while he hasn't won in nearly two years, he's been much more consistent. He just needs to shake off these injuries; he recently missed some time with a wrist issue."[My golf game has] been good at times, I would say. But it's been choppy, because I'll be playing good and then obviously get an injury, and then I'll take a time off, and then I come back and I'll play good again, and then I get another injury. So it's just been very, very difficult to get any sort of momentum," Day said in a recent interview with Fox News Digital."So I've played solid golf and I've had some good finishes, but I just can't believe were halfway through the season now, and I feel like the year's gone very, very fast, but obviously, when you're injured, you're sitting out a lot and just waiting around until your body heals. So decent golf, could play a little bit better, obviously. Everyone can do that."This weekend's U.S. Open will be the first time he's out on the course since last month's PGA Championship as he nursed the aforementioned wrist injury. But he might be more prepared for the Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, than anyone else.Day, thanks to his partnership with TruGreen, was able to recently build his front lawn into Oakmont conditions: fast green, thick rough, all the fun stuff that any U.S. Open holds.2025 U.S. OPEN FIELD: FULL LIST OF 156 GOLFERS AT OAKMONT"I do have a golf course in my front yard, and I know how important it is to have the correct people in place to be able to make that happen. I'm preparing for the U.S. Open coming up, and were doing everything we can to mimic the conditions that we have at the U.S. Open," Day said. "TruGreen handles that, and its nice to be able drive past and go, Man, that lawn looks really nice. Its that time of year when things are heating up, and when we get to the meat of the summer, things will dry out, so you need a team behind you to keep things looking mint.""If youre on a simulator, and you're playing Oakmont, you can see what the course is going to give you. But here, I can grow the course, I can speed the greens, I can grow the rough, I can firm my course out," Day added. While Day may be out of that No. 1 contention, a victory on Sunday may just put him back on that path that he's been dying for."Being No. 1 in the world, I knew how hard it was to get there, the work and effort and distractions that came with it. Its hard to sit there and say injuries have taken me out of some momentum," Day said. "But a career is very long. Im trying to get these recent injuries behind me, and if I can have some healthy years and hit the ball hard, focus on what I need to do, hopefully Ill give myself a chance to challenge some of the best in the world."Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X,and subscribe tothe Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Browns' Shedeur Sanders chides 'excuses' despite limited opportunity at minicamp

Shedeur Sanders is one of several quarterbacks competing for the Cleveland Browns' starting role. While Joe Flacco brings the most experience in the group, Kenny Pickett has also started games in the NFL. Dillon Gabriel and Sanders were both part of the Browns 2025 draft class. Deshuan Watson vowed to return "better than ever" after re-injuring his Achilles tendon in January, but it remains to be seen if he will take snaps during the 2025 season. The crowded quarterback room relegated Sanders to taking snaps with the designated second-team for the majority of the Browns' mandatory minicam practice on Tuesday.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMMeanwhile, Flacco, Pickett and Gabriel took snaps with the first-team, ESPN reported.Nevertheless, spending practice time with the second-team did not seem to rattle Sanders. The young quarterback told reporters his perspective helps keep him from viewing his situation in a negative light.SHEDEUR SANDERS DIVES INTO RELATIONSHIP WITH FELLOW BROWNS ROOKIE QUARTERBACK DILLON GABRIEL"Life is just based on how you view different things," the 23-year-old said. "So you can view things as you're not getting reps in a negative way or you can view it as, OK, when it's my time to get out there, let's be proactive and let's get warm, let's get going."A determined Sanders added he did not have any "excuses" and his "production" whenever he gets the opportunity to play is what ultimately counts."So, there's no excuses because when you get out there, nobody cares how many reps you got whenever you get in the game. Nobody cares if you took a snap before. Everybody cares about production. So that's the main thing when you get out there: You got to be able to produce."The majority of Sanders' and Gabriel's snaps on Tuesday appeared to take place during the team drills portion of practice. However, Gabriel also had an opportunity to take reps with starters, while Sanders mostly stuck with backups. When asked about his mindset entering his first year in the NFL, Sanders cited his desire to be a great teammate who is always as prepared as possible."My goal is to be the best teammate and to be as polished as I can be in every aspect," Sanders said. "I view things as I got time. I got time to be able to grow and mature and be able to understand the ins and outs of the defenses and be able to get the good insight from the vets in the room."The Browns open their regular season on Sept. 7, when they host the AFC North division rival Cincinnati Bengals.Follow Fox News Digitals sports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Wojcicki testified before a U.S. House committee a few months after she stepped down as CEO of the genetics analysis company in March. While the hearing was focused on data privacy as the company potentially changes hands, Gill questioned the former CEO about a politically-charged post the companys official X account made under her watch."23andMe has really, over the past few years, gone out of its way to show how woke it is. It seems like if youre gonna demand people use these pronouns you would know what they mean, right?""I was CEO, but that doesnt mean I can oversee every single post," Wojcicki said."Very very politically charged post that you guys put out, I would think that youd have a view on that," Gill said, going on to ask the former CEO the difference between the xe and ze pronouns."Im not up to speed on that," she replied.Grill pressed Wojcicki again on whether she felt like not understanding these pronouns indeed marginalizes transgender people, and she replied that she supports her research team who felt that it is important for the company "to be inclusive of everybody."Gill went on to argue that even if the social and research team had put out the messaging, she was CEO at the time, and cannot "pawn off responsibility to somebody else."Referring to the company blog post, he asked whether it had been 23andMes policy to allow biological men to use the womens restroom while she was still the CEO.After noting the company had non-gendered bathrooms as well, Wojcicki answered that while she was CEO, "I think our position was just to make sure that were applicable to laws."He then grilled her about the post mentioning support for transgender procedures for youth, and Wojcicki defended it by noting that it cited specific pediatric guidelines."Sounds to me like you took a genetics company that you built - and congratulations for doing that - and turned it into a woke social justice organization," Gill said, claiming that she is now running from such a position now that such ideas have fallen from popularity.
