Country star Gretchen Wilson wins 'Masked Singer' after 'severe' COVID symptoms kept her from spotlight
Country music icon of the '90s Gretchen Wilson won big on Foxs "The Masked Singer" after health concerns and her personality kept her out of the public eye, according to the star.During an interview with Fox News Digital, Wilson shared the reason why she has been on a hiatus from Hollywood."So, I got COVID. I was one of the very first to get it, and it was a heck of a round. It left me with high blood pressure, shortness of breath, asthma all of which I still have and it took about two years for me to find the right doctors, cardiologists to get it all sorted, to find the right medicine to get my blood pressure down. I mean, it was pretty severe. It was bad enough that I couldn't even do light housework without the blood pressure going up to scary levels," Wilson exclusively told Fox News Digital.'THE REDNECK WOMAN' GRETCHEN WILSON OPENS UP ABOUT NEARLY DERAILING HER MUSIC CAREERCOVID was not Wilson's only health battle in recent years."I also shattered my leg, and I was in a wheelchair for eight months. So there was a lot that I had to work through."The "Redneck Woman" singer also shared that it is not her personality to share her highs and lows on social media."I don't get on my phone and go, Oh, woe is me and look at me and I am so sad, boohoo. It's just not my personality. So I just stayed away, figured it out. Like I said, it took a long time, but I finally got myself into a place where I was like, 'Okay, I feel like I'm back,'" Wilson said.WATCH: GRETCHEN WILSON WINS MASKED SINGER AFTER CONTINUOUS BATTLE WITH SEVERE COVID SYMPTOMSWhen Wilson got the call to compete on "The Masked Singer," she decided to use it as an opportunity to see if her talents were still there."When they called and asked to me, it was like the best, I don't know of a better opportunity for me to go and try to just see What do I have? Do I have it or is it over, you know? And it was hard work, but it was so rewarding."I gotta say that I don't think I have this kind of pride or this much just, you know, want to if I hadn't done the show. The show really proved to me that I can still do it, that I need to still be doing it and that I want to still be doing it," she said, referring to singing and performing.Wilson had her "tools" with her while competing on the singing competition show that helped ease her health issues.LIKE WHAT YOURE READING? CLICK HERE FOR MORE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS"I take two different inhalers every day and I take a pretty massive beta blocker. So, I've got my tools. No, I don't think that I felt any different during the show than I do with my typical touring gigs. It's probably a little bit harder to do the 75- to 90-minute nonstop, middle of July, Yuma, Arizona show. That's probably a little bit harder than any given one day on the show. I will say that it's enough work that I felt like I got dehydrated a couple of times. It was a lot of work just keeping hydrated," Wilson said. Now that Wilson is getting back into the spotlight, she has been working with "Yellowstone" creator Taylor Sheridan, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban. She told Fox News Digital that she had talked to Sheridan about appearing in one of his many shows."I don't know, we talked a little bit, we were working, so obviously we didn't sit around and just shoot the cr-p. I would like to, pick his brain, who wouldn't, but we were pretty focused on the project at hand. I have no idea, I think that's gonna be up to Taylor. He's got so many different irons in the fire. He's [got] what, five, 10 different shows going all the time," Wilson said.Wilson felt "very comfortable" working with Shelton and Urban who are polar opposites, according to the singer.WATCH: GRETCHEN WILSON TALKS WORKING WITH BLAKE SHELTON AND KEITH URBAN"Blake's just always having a good time. He's Mr. Funny. I think that if things hadn't worked out so well for him in this industry, he could have very easily been a comedian."And Keith is just a lot more serious, but man, what a guy. I mean every time I'm around him, I'm just like, man, when I grew up, I wanted to be Keith Urban. He's brilliant. He's so talented. He played every night. He played every on this other show that I did and just aces every night, perfect voice, so healthy. Takes care of himself. Yeah, I want to be like that. You know, I told him, I said, You make me want to be a better me, Keith, you really do. And then I looked at Blake and said, 'Yeah, not so much you," Wilson said while laughing.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT NEWSLETTERFlorida Georgia Line's former singer, Brian Kelley, also competed on "The Masked Singer."WATCH: BRIAN KELLEY DISHES ON HIS MASKED SINGER EXPERIENCE"[I] had an absolute blast, man. It was a good time. It was wild. It was challenging. It was just fun, man, it was such a different experience than anything I've ever done. And I'm really glad I did it. Like it was, it was freeing. Creatively, I kind of felt like I recalibrated my whole system and my whole mindset," Kelley told Fox News Digital."Going into it, I knew it was gonna be fun and wacky and wild and just like a good time and theatrical and just wild production and stuff. But I didn't know that I was gonna leave with just a different headspace, man. I just felt like I was able to double down on just being myself and going forward not worrying about anything, man, and it was so good for me. It was just like. In that mask, in that suit, and just like, Hey, let it rip, have fun. Singing all sorts of songs, different genres, and just singing like here's my take on how I would do that song or how I'd do this song and just be myself," Kelley said.

    Trump Houthis
    WWW.FOXNEWS.COM
Trump halts military strikes on Houthis but expert warns Iran-backed terrorist group remains major threat
President Donald Trump made the surprise announcement this week that the U.S., after weeks of intense strikes, will halt all bombing campaigns on the Houthis in Yemen but experts have warned the Iran-backed group will not sit idle.In Trumps Tuesday announcement from the Oval Office, he claimed the Houthis "just don't want to fightand we will honor that. We will stop the bombings."The president would not say who provided him with this confirmation by the terrorist network, which for years has attacked U.S. and allied ships in the Red Sea in a major threat to freedom of navigation, but in a laugh following the question, he replied that it came from a "very good source."Less than two hours later, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the foreign minister of Oman, took to X to say, "Following recent discussions and contacts conducted by the Sultanate of Oman with the United States and the relevant authorities in Sana'a, in the Republic of Yemen, with the aim of de-escalation, efforts have resulted in a ceasefire agreement between the two sides."TRUMP CLAIMS HOUTHIS 'DON'T WANT TO FIGHT' AND SAYS US WILL STOP BOMBING CAMPAIGN"In the future, neither side will target the other, including American vessels, in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait, ensuring freedom of navigation and the smooth flow of international commercial shipping," he added. The post suggests that Oman, which has also played an intermediary in the U.S.-Iran nuclear talks, was heavily involved in securing the ceasefire. However, a new report obtained by Fox News Digital ahead of the presidents surprise announcement warns that the Trump administration must remain vigilant against major security threats posed by the Houthis and the international actors supporting the terrorist network. The report, dubbed "The Houthi Challenge: Forging a Strategy to Defeat the Iran-Backed Terror Group in Yemen" by Ari Heistein for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) and research fellow at the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security, highlighted that it is not only Iran that have helped facilitate the Houthi operational capabilities. While Tehran has backed the Houthis since at least 2014 and possibly as early as 2009 during the war in Yemen through training and advanced weapons like ballistic missiles, Oman has also played a role by allowing the group to operate from its territory and serving as a key smuggling route for Iranian arms.ISRAEL CALLS TO EVACUATE YEMEN AIRPORT AMID FIGHT WITH HOUTHISJonathan Schanzer, a former terrorism finance analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the current executive director of the FDD, called Oman's role in negotiations between Washington and Middle East adversaries "outrageous.""To hold them up as responsible intermediaries when they are in fact hosting the very group that we're trying to dismantle, there's very little logic [in] this position," he told Fox News Digital. The report found that Iranian arms are smuggled into Yemen through the port of Hodeidah which was targeted in a series of Israeli strikes on major infrastructure in and around the Houthi-controlled capital of Sanaa this week but also through smaller ports or overland through Oman.Omani private banking institutions and businesses are also reportedly known to be "servicing the Houthi economy and even supplying the group with arms.""More must be done to prevent bulk cash smuggling across the border between Oman and Yemen," Heistein found. "Muscat must begin to feel pressure from the international community to address a threat finance challenge that has gone unchecked for too long."The report breaks down the varied steps that need to be taken to effectively undermine and counter the Houthis as repeated military strikes by first, Saudi Arabia starting in 2015, then recently by the U.S. and Israel, have not significantly degraded the terrorist group. Those steps include continued military action similar to Israels recent strikes on Yemens Hodeidah port and Sanaa International Airport, which are expected to have far-reaching economic impacts and increase internal pressure on the Houthis. But military action alone isnt enough; economic, diplomatic, and other soft power strategies are also needed to weaken the group, according to the report. The report also highlighted that the Houthis have utilized previous lulls in fighting with nations like Saudi Arabia, the U.S. and Israel to regroup and rebuild."Compelling the Houthis to halt attacks on shipping is a meaningful achievement only if it is part of a broader, long-term strategy," Heistein told Fox News Digital. "However, if a Red Sea ceasefire becomes the centerpiece and endpoint of U.S. policy toward the Houthis, it risks empowering an increasingly dangerous regime to escalate and de-escalate at will."Without a comprehensive approach to addressing the Houthi threat, the U.S. and its allies could soon be confronting a more dangerous, better-armed terrorist group," Heinstein warned.

    Sam Darnold Shedeur Sanders
    WWW.FOXNEWS.COM
Seahawks' Sam Darnold offers crucial advice for Shedeur Sanders ahead of Browns' QB battle
One of the NFL's biggest storylines this preseason will be in Berea, Ohio, as the Cleveland Browns will have an intriguing quarterback competition featuring their fifth-round pick, Shedeur Sanders.Sanders, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and third-round pick Dillon Gabriel will all be vying for the same job, but the spotlight will be bright on the Colorado signal caller after his NFL Draft slide to the fifth round made national headlines.Sanders went from being a first-round lock to a fifth-round selection that had many scratching their heads, debating about his fit in Cleveland after they just selected Gabriel to make him the third quarterback on the depth chart, next to Flacco and Pickett.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMWhile it is expected Flacco will get the first crack at winning the job, Sanders will have chances to compete with his new teammates to potentially land the starting role.A quarterback competition is something Sam Darnold, the Seattle Seahawks' new quarterback, has been through in his career. He had a bit of advice for the young Sanders, who is getting his first taste of a training camp battle."I think the biggest thing is having respect," Darnold told Fox News Digital, while discussing his time with the Lowe's Foundation at SkillsUSA National Signing Day in Seattle. "Having respect for the teammates that youre competing with."TRUMP DETAILS HIS INVOLVEMENT IN SHEDEUR SANDERS' CLOSELY-WATCHED FALL IN NFL DRAFTWhile it is a competition, it is important to remember these are also teammates chasing the same goal: winning a Super Bowl. After his failed stint with the New York Jets, who took him third overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, Darnold bounced around multiple teams and had to fight his way into the position he was with the Minnesota Vikings last season. Even there, Darnold fought to win the starting quarterback role, and he earned his place to choose his next team in free agency this offseason.Darnold specifically looked back at his time with the Carolina Panthers, where the player who went two picks before him in that 2018 draft, Baker Mayfield, was his main competition in 2022."I was in a quarterback competition in my second year in Carolina with Baker. Me and Baker are still really close to this day, and we both had such a genuine respect for one another," Darnold explained. "Sometimes, it wasnt exactly clear who was getting the 1s reps or 2s reps that day. But when our number was called, whether it was me or Bake going out there with the 1s, it was just like, All right, go out there."Then, in the individual drills that day, if I was getting the 1s reps, Bake would let me take like Christian [McCaffrey] on a route or D.J. Moore on a route. It was always that respect. Then, if it was flipped, if Bake was taking the 1s reps, I would let him take all the guys he was going to be running with that day."I think whether its Shedeur or anyone else, I think just having respect for those guys in the quarterbacks room and helping everybody get better. Thats the biggest thing at this point in the season, helping everybody get better. When you do that, you get better yourself, more than you even know."As of now, there is a good chance Sanders is not the one under center in Week 1 to begin the Browns' 2025 campaign. How he handles waiting in the wings for his time to shine will also be in the national spotlight. If that moment comes, Darnold wants Sanders to think team first."When Bake got the nod for Week 1, I was like, Im here for you. Anything you need, if you want me to watch tape of certain third-down looks or any blitz packages the defense might have, Im here for you,'" Darnold said. "Its that kind of way in the quarterbacks room, and theres nothing that simulates that in the real world."CELEBRATING NEXT GENERATION OF TRADE WORKERSWhile Darnold is getting his bearings in his new city, he made sure to stop by Lowes Seattle store ceremony for SkillsUSA National Signing Day, which is a celebration mirroring the excitement of athletic signings but for future electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs and builders.Lowes rolled out the blue carpet and all for students, who were surprised by Seattles newest football star, and this initiative is one that hits close to home for Darnold. His father, Mike, has been a plumber for 30-plus years."It was unbelievable," Darnold said of the experience. "Ive seen the hard work that he put in his entire life to it. So, just being able to see these kids and see the hard work theyve already put in, get to meet them and talk to them about the path that theyre headed, and just how passionate they are about it."I think theres so many more opportunities out there in the skill trades world, and me and my dad have talked about it, how theres not a lot of kids doing that anymore. Its a special opportunity for kids to impact their communities in ways they probably dont even know theyre going to."New data from ADP shows nearly one in five workers aged 20-24 held blue-collar jobs as of May 2023. While that was a 2% rise since 2019, the U.S. faces a shortage of 439,000 construction workers.Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X, and subscribe tothe Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Liberal media melts down over Trumps military parade plan, calling it authoritarian
President Donald Trumps plan to host a large-scale military parade in Washington next month has ignited liberal media outlets, with many critics describing the event as "authoritarian" and unnecessary. The parade, scheduled for June, is intended to honor military veterans and active-duty service members while also marking the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. The event will notably fall on Trumps 79th birthday, a coincidence that has fueled skepticism among his critics.Media voices on networks like MSNBC, ABC, and CNN have responded with alarm, framing the parade as a symbol of authoritarian leadership rather than patriotic celebration."We dont need a military parade," said political analyst Charles Blow during an appearance on "CNN Newsnight" Monday.TRUMP TO HOST MILITARY PARADE TO CELEBRATE ARMY'S 250TH BIRTHDAY, HONOR ACTIVE-DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS, VETERANS"Strong men do that because they want to make their citizens cower."Conservative analyst Scott Jennings scoffed at the CNN panelists' complaints, arguing the Pentagon under Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is trying to boost morale and recruitment."[It's] a national parade to show off our military and show pride in the veterans who have defended this country and you're all mad about it?" he asked.Similar concerns echoed across daytime television. On "The View," Whoopi Goldberg criticized the idea as being more about ego than honor.JEN PSAKI, THE EX-BIDEN FLACK WHO DEFENDED HIS MENTAL FITNESS, LAUNCHES EXPANDED ROLE AT MSNBC"Im not interested in throwing a parade for you [Trump]," she said.MSNBCs "Rachel Maddow Show" featured Ezra Levin, co-founder of the progressive group Indivisible, who said the plan was "straight out of the authoritarian playbook."Despite the criticism, Trump has defended the event, dismissing concerns over its price tag during an interview on NBCs "Meet the Press." Speaking from Mar-a-Lago, he told host Kristen Welker the cost would be "peanuts compared to the value of doing it."'VIEW' CO-HOST KNOCKS BIDEN AHEAD OF INTERVIEW, SAYS DEMOCRATS DON'T WANT TO SEE HIM RIGHT NOW"We have the greatest missiles in the world. We have the greatest submarines in the world. We have the greatest army tanks in the world," Trump said. "And were going to celebrate it."Estimates from U.S. defense planners suggest the parade could cost between $25 million and $45 million, according to reporting by Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin. The event is set to include more than 6,000 soldiers, military vehicles, helicopters, and multiple marching bands.FETTERMAN LASHES OUT AT 'HIT PIECE' AFTER CONFRONTATION WITH REPORTER ABOUT HIS HEALTHKayleigh McEnany, Trumps former press secretary and current "Outnumbered" co-host, said the backlash is part of a broader pattern."The Democratic Party, theyve chosen to be an outrage machine at a time when there is outrage fatigue in this country," she said. "People are fed up with the authoritarianism coup language.""Outnumbered" guest and Independent Women Features editor Kaylee McGhee White echoed that sentiment: "Its not intimidating, at least its not if you love America. You enjoy watching this country flex its muscles and display its strength.""The Faulkner Focus" host Harris Faulkner expressed concern about the possible price tag, but said her real concerns about the event are making sure the focus remains on celebrating the troops, and their families.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP"This will make them feel special, and they deserve to feel that way, those who have fought, currently fighting, and their families," Faulkner said. "I also want us to remember the families in that moment, and celebrate them too."

    North Korea Missile Test
    WWW.FOXNEWS.COM
North Korea launches short-range ballistic missiles into sea, South Korea says
North Korea launched several short-range ballistic missiles into its eastern sea Thursday in what South Korea is calling a "clear act of provocation."Lee Sung Joon, a spokesperson for South Koreas Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the launches were possibly intended to test the performance of weapons that North Korea plans to export as it continues to send military equipment and troops to fuel Russias warfighting against Ukraine. The agency said multiple missiles were launched from an area around North Koreas eastern port city of Wonsan from about 8:10 to 9:20 a.m. local time Thursday, with the farthest traveling about 497 miles.Lee said the tests likely involved a short-range ballistic missile system launched from vehicles possibly modeled after Russias Iskander missile --and also large-caliber rocket artillery systems.600 NORTH KOREAN TROOPS KILLED WHILE FIGHTING UKRAINE, SOUTH KOREA SAYSThe Joint Chiefs said South Korean and U.S. intelligence authorities detected the launch preparations in advance and tracked the missiles after they were launched. It issued a statement denouncing the launches as a "clear act of provocation" that threatens peace and stability in the region, according to the Associated Press. South Korean military officials are now analyzing whether the tests were linked to the Norths weapons exports to Russia. In early March, North Korea fired several ballistic missiles into the sea just hours after South Korea and the United States kicked off their first major joint military exercise of President Donald Trumps second term."We are aware of the DPRKs multiple ballistic missile launches and are consulting closely with the Republic of Korea and Japan, as well as other regional allies and partners. The United States condemns these actions and calls on the DPRK to refrain from further unlawful and destabilizing acts," the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command said in a statement at the time.NORTH KOREA FIRES MISSILES AS US, SOUTH KOREA BEGIN THEIR FIRST JOINT MILITARY EXERCISE OF TRUMPS SECOND TERMThose launches come after South Korean and U.S. forces began their annual Freedom Shield exercise. After denying its war involvement for months, North Korea last month confirmed for the first time that it had sent combat troops to help Russia in recapturing parts of the Kursk region, which had fallen to a surprise Ukrainian incursion last year. Moscow also acknowledged the North Korean involvement, with Russian President Vladimir Putin issuing a statement thanking the North for sending troops to support his forces and promising not to forget their sacrifices.Recent South Korean intelligence assessments suggest that North Korea has sent about 15,000 soldiers to Russia, and that nearly 5,000 of them have been killed or injured while fighting against Ukrainian forces, the AP reported. Washington and Seoul have also accused North Korea of supplying Russia with various types of military equipment, including artillery systems and shells and ballistic missiles. The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Joe Crowley to become the nation's youngest congresswoman.Against all odds and with little money, her spectacular win sent shockwaves through the Democratic Party as she effectively ended the political career of Crowley, who at that point was a 10-term incumbent and eyeing being the next House speaker.COME FOR ME AOC TAUNTS TOM HOMAN AFTER BORDER CZAR THREATENED TO REFER HER TO JUSTICE DEPARTMENTSome political observers say Crowley took Ocasio-Cortez for granted, while her constituents believe attaining the nations highest office is not beyond her grasp. Fast-forward to 2025 and Ocasio-Cortez has become one of the biggest voices in a party yearning for political leadership. The huge turnouts for her "Fight Oligarchy" tour events alongside Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., has fueled speculation she has enough momentum to launch a presidential bid, while she has also raked in $9.6 million in the first three months of the year, beating her own record fundraising haul.Mark LaVergne, whos an independent and was outside Ocasio-Cortezs town hall but did not attend, told Fox News Digital that he believes she has a winning personality."Don't underestimate her. I mean, that was the mistake Joe Crowley and his people made seven years ago," LaVergne said. "They underestimated her. That was a fatal mistake."Andrew Sokolof Diaz said Ocasio-Cortezs popularity appears to be growing and said it would be an honor to vote for her."Absolutely, we stand with her. I think she absolutely has the support, not only here in her district, but she has the support nationally, maybe even internationally, to run for president." Sokolof Diaz said.Aleks Itskovich, who traveled from Brooklyn and moved to the U.S. from Russia when he was three years old, said he was inspired by the "Fight Oligarchy" tour and said it proves she connects with the ordinary person."It goes back to the authenticity," Itskovich said. "I think that she's able to come across as a genuine individual that is able to channel people's concerns directly and feel relatable, honest, that she's not coming from the 1%. Shes one of the most successful politicians of this generation, so I want to keep seeing how that goes."HYSTERICAL TOWN HALL ATTENDEE INTERRUPTS AOC, YELLS ABOUT GENOCIDE IN GAZA: YOURE A LIAR!'However, not all were keen on the potential move, with Woodside resident Mary Maddensaying she felt Ocasio-Cortez is too young, while John Szewczuk, who has lived in Jackson Heights for 44 years, said she may be too left wing to win the presidency outright, but he would still back her.About 450 people packed into a local school auditorium to hear Ocasio-Cortez talk about a host of issues ranging from local concerns about a major casino to national issues like Medicaid and the Trump administration's mass deportation efforts. Long lines outside the location caused the event to be delayed for nearly 20 minutes while those who couldnt get in were shuffled into an overflow room across the hall.Inside, attendees gave Ocasio-Cortez a rousingly warm reception and appeared fully supportive of her legislative agenda and her representation of the district to date. Many questions from the audience centered around local issues, calls for a minimum wage hike, how to improve air quality, as well as asking her how she plans on tackling the Trump administration. The loudest applause came when Ocasio-Cortez voiced her opposition to a proposed new casino in Queens, which would be part of new sports and entertainment park. The $8 billion project is being spearheaded by New York Mets billionaire owner Steve Cohen and has gotten approval from the New York City Council. The congresswoman admitted, however, she doesnt have a say in the matter since its a state issue and not in her district.Applause also rang out when Ocasio-Cortez dared border czar Tom Homan to arrest her after hepreviously threatened to refer her to the Justice Department for giving advice to migrants on how to avoid being deported. The town hall went off without a hitch except for an early disruption by a protester who heckled at Ocasio-Cortez about the war in Israel. She was then removed. The town hall took place in a leafy section of Jackson Heights, known for its strong progressive leanings. A major avenue adjacent to the school was recently transformed into an "open street," where traffic was substantially reduced to create more public space for pedestrians, cyclists and community use."I love it, it's a great neighborhood, it is very diverse, probably one of the most diverse in the world," Szewczuk said.Conversely, the school is about three blocks away from the Roosevelt Avenue commercial strip, which has become notorious for its open-air sex workers, trash-filled streets, crime, drugs and anti-social behavior.Roosevelt Avenue runs along the southern border of Ocasio-Cortezs 14th District, and the strip is shared by Rep. Grace Meng. Fox News Digital observed at least 30 prostitutes soliciting sex along one block of Roosevelt Avenue about an hour after the town hall finished. Some sidewalks along the squalid strip are hard to navigate given the sheer number of people many of whom are migrants selling hot food, fruit and vegetables, counterfeit goods and what appeared to be stolen goods. Ocasio-Cortez never mentioned the strip, nor did any attendee ask about it in the question and answers section. While all questions were submitted in advance and Ocasio-Cortez left out a side door the moment the event ended, it appeared it was way down in the list of priorities for those in attendance.Sokolof Diaz and Szewczuk said its on local politicians to do more, while LaVergne said that Ocasio-Cortez has failed the neighborhood in that respect. LaVergne said he was also still angry that she helped stop Amazon opening a massive headquarters in Queens a few years ago."I feel very sad. Sometimes you walk by, there's a Dunkin' Donuts I frequent on Roosevelt and 82nd St., and I noticed that above that, there is some sort of thing going on. And I see the look in the eyes of these sex workers," LaVergne said."I really feel sorry for them. Some of them are here probably under difficult situations. Maybe they were forced here, maybe they're forced to do this kind of work. You've got to take care of the people that'll get you elected. I mean, that just seems like the most just thing. That's justice. Taking care of the people who got you elected."

James Carville calls out Ilhan Omar over resurfaced 'radicalization of White men' comments
Democratic strategist James Carville called out Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., on Wednesday, for comments she made in 2018 about White men. He said controversial members of Congress like Omar "are more trouble than they're worth" for Democrats."Ilhan Omar says that White men are responsible for most of the deaths in the United States. So let me get this straight, 69% of the people why Im stuck on that number, I dont know but 69% of the people going to vote, are White. Of that, 48.5 are males. So, I dont know, my rough math is 33%?" Carville said during a discussion at the Sir Harry Evans Investigative Journalism Summit in London.Omar said in 2018 during an interview that the U.S. should be "fearful" of White men and that the country should be creating policies to "fight the radicalization of White men." The interview resurfaced this week on social media, and was criticized by members of the GOP, including Vice President JD Vance."Thats a lot of pissed-off 33% of people that vote, and thats a smart strategy? And there are people that agree with her! There are people that actually agree with her! And I think its, honestly, I think these people are more trouble than theyre worth," Carville said on Wednesday.OMAR SLAMS TRUMP, MUSK FOR CHANGES AT USAID, ACCUSES PRESIDENT OF RUNNING DICTATORSHIP"I would say our country should be more fearful of White men across our country, because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country," Omar said inthe 2018 interview with Al-Jazeera while discussing domestic terrorism threats in the United States and responding to a question about how much concern "jihadism" posed to the U.S."And so, if fear was the driving force of policies to keep America safe, Americans safe inside of this country, we should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of White men," she added. The comments were called out by JD Vance and other conservatives on Tuesday, as the vice president likened Omar's remarks to "genocidal language.""This isnt just sick; its actually genocidal language," Vance wrote on social media. "What a disgrace this person is."ILHAN OMAR BLASTS HARRIS-WALZ CAMPAIGN FOR COURTING LIZ CHENEY: 'HUGE MISSTEP'"In this nearly 8yr old clip, I am referring to the rise of white nationalism in an annual report issued by the Anti-Defamation League that said White supremacists were responsible for 78 percent of extremist-related murders," Omar told Fox News Digital in a statement. "PS you should look up what genocidal actually means when youre actively supporting a genocide taking place in Gaza."Omar told Daily Caller News Foundation reporter Myles Morell to "f--- off" earlier this month after he asked her a question about fellow Democratic Party figures traveling to El Salvador to defend illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was deported to the country by the Trump administration. Morell shared the clip on X.Omar later responded to the clip being shared on social media and stated, "I said what I said. You and all your miserable trolls can f--- off."
