Worlds first touch-sensing bionic hand with lightning-fast response
Losing a hand or limb is a life-changing event, and finding a prosthetic that can truly feel has long been a challenge. For many, traditional prosthetics offer limited movement and no sense of touch, making everyday tasks difficult and frustrating. But what if a prosthetic hand could do more than just move? What if it could actually feel the objects you touch, giving you real-time feedback and control? Enter the Ability Hand by PSYONIC, the world's first touch-sensing bionic hand. This innovative device is designed to restore not only movement but also sensation, helping people regain a more natural connection with their environment.Jointhe FREE "CyberGuy Report": Get my expert tech tips, critical security alerts and exclusive deals, plus instant access to my free"Ultimate Scam Survival Guide" when you sign up!When it comes to prosthetic hands, there are a lot of options out there, but the Ability Hand brings some truly unique features to the table. Here's a look at what makes it stand out from the rest:One of the most impressive features of the Ability Hand is its integrated pressure sensors in the fingertips. When you grip something, these sensors detect how much force you're applying and send a gentle vibration to your arm, giving you sensory feedback. This means users can handle delicate objects with greater confidence and precision, something that was previously impossible with traditional prosthetics. The Ability Hand offers an impressive variety of grip patterns, 32 in total, with 19 ready to use right now. Whether you need a strong power grip for lifting or a delicate pinch for picking up small items, this hand adapts easily. Customized grips are also available for those who want something tailored.Weighing just 1.08 pounds lighter than the average human hand, the Ability Hand is comfortable for all-day use. All five fingers flex and extend naturally, and the thumb can rotate both electrically and manually, allowing for a wide range of motions that feel intuitive and lifelike.Charging is simple with a USB-C port, taking about an hour to fully charge. The battery lasts 6 to 8 hours, depending on use. A neat bonus: you can even charge your phone directly from the Ability Hand. The hand is also compatible with most third-party control systems, including EMG pattern recognition and force-sensitive resistors, making it a flexible option for many users.Durability is key for any prosthetic, and the Ability Hand doesn't disappoint. Each finger is designed to withstand blunt force impacts without breaking. Plus, it's water-resistant with an IP64 rating, so it can handle everyday spills and splashes without worry.THE 2025 TERMINATOR? LAB-GROWN MUSCLE BRINGS BIOHYBRID ROBOT HAND TO LIFEWant to see how the Ability Hand stacks up? Here's a quick rundown of the bionic hand's standout specs, from weight to water resistance, all in everyday terms.SOFT ROBOTIC PROSTHETIC HAND USES NERVE SIGNALS FOR MORE NATURAL CONTROLPowering on the Ability Hand is as easy as pressing a button on the PSYONIC Power Switch, which also shows battery status through colored LED lights. Switching between grips is primarily done with your muscles or with quick taps on the same button. If needed, the hand can be "frozen" to prevent accidental movements. Charging involves simply plugging in the USB-C cable to the power switch. The LED indicates charging progress, turning solid green when fully charged.SOFT ROBOTIC ARMBAND GIVES PROSTHETIC HAND USERS NATURAL CONTROLThe Ability Hand is priced at around $15,000 to $20,000, plus clinical services, which is considered affordable compared to many advanced bionic hands on the market. The company tells us that many insurance policies cover the device and clinical services. For those whose insurance cannot cover the hand, PSYONIC has partnered with the Range of Motion Project to launch the Ability Fund. This initiative is designed to make the Ability Hand accessible to even more individuals who can benefit from advanced prosthetic technology. Through the Ability Fund, your tax-deductible donation helps provide a hand or leg at no cost to the recipient, along with all associated clinical services for the life of the device. Seeing our users push the limits of what is possible with the Ability Hand is why we do what we do."The Ability Hand combines real touch feedback, durability and easy-to-use design to create a hand that moves and feels more natural than ever before. Whether it's handling something delicate or just going about everyday tasks, it acts like a true extension of the body. And with a price that makes this kind of advanced tech more accessible, it's opening up exciting possibilities for many people. Children's YouTube star 'Ms. Rachel' talks to anti-Israel reporter about Gaza posts
Childrens YouTube star "Ms. Rachel" appeared on anti-Israel journalist Mehdi Hasans Zeteo news Monday to explain why she has been so outspoken about Israels war against Hamas.Rachel Griffin Accurso, who goes by "Ms. Rachel" on her popular YouTube channel, which has 14.7 million subscribers, has shared several posts about the war's effects on Palestinian children."Over 14,000 precious children have been un-alived in Gaza. Gaza has the largest number of child amputees in history. We cant be silent about these kinds of conditions for children," Accurso posted to her TikTok channel in Dec. 2024, echoing the Hamas-run Gaza health ministrys casualty statistics.UN REVISES GAZA DEATH TOLL, ALMOST 50% LESS WOMEN AND CHILDREN KILLED THAN PREVIOUSLY REPORTEDLast month, the Hamas-controlled agency's numbers were revised down by thousands and an analysis of those numbers found that 72% of those killed between the ages of 13 and 55 were males."As a teacher, you care about all kids. And I think with so many years of teaching, you just see them all as so similar. They all love to laugh, and they love to learn, and they love to play, and they deserve to play," Accurso told Hasan, who previously worked for Qatar-funded Al Jazeera and MSNBC.Hasan has been a harsh critic of the Jewish State, accusing the IDF of killing "hungry people" and comparing it to the regimes of Russia's Vladimir Putin and ousted Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.In 2021, Hasan rushed to defend Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., who suggested the U.S. and Israel were just as guilty of "war crimes" as terrorist groups like Hamas and the Taliban. He also defended Omar after allegations of antisemitic rhetoric online in 2019.CONSERVATIVE PARENTS CALL TO BOYCOTT 'MS. RACHEL' OVER LATEST PRIDE MONTH VIDEO: 'KIDS LOOK UP TO' HERCritics have asserted that the "Songs for Littles" crooner is not merely speaking out for vulnerable children, but is in fact trying to indoctrinate kids into a far-left, anti-Israel ideology.Accurso allegedly did not immediately speak out against Hamas horrific Oct. 7 terrorist attacks, which saw 38 children killed, seven of whom were between zero and six years old, and 42 children taken hostage.Instead, she waited until after Israel began its war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip 12 days later to issue a statement, according to a column in the New York Post.FUNERAL HELD FOR SHIRI BIBAS AND HER SONS AFTER THEIR REMAINS HANDED OVER BY HAMAS"Her increasingly politicized online presence should concern parents. Ms. Rachel has a moral compass but it only points leftward," New York Post columnist Bethany Mandel wrote. The group StopAntisemitism last month urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to open an investigation into Accurso to probe whether she is being paid to spread Hamas propaganda, the New York Post also reported.Ms. Rachel denied the accusations as "absurd" and "completely false," in a statement to Fox News Digital."It's sad that someone would take compassion for children suffering immeasurably and try to make it controversial. All of my work grows from my care for all children and wanting them to have everything they need to grow and thrive. They can't do that if they are denied food, safety, medical care or the love and care of their families. In a time of so much division, the more we can see the humanity of people who are different from us, the better," she told Fox News Digital.Accurso defended her advocacy for children impacted by the war in Gaza to Hasan, saying that as a mother herself, she couldnt stay silent."Its sad that people try to make it controversial when you speak out for children that are facing immeasurable suffering. I think it should be controversial to not say anything," Accurso said. "The idea that caring for a group of children in an emergency situation means you dont care about other children is false."

McDonald's chef reveals why coffee from fast-food giant tastes so good
Coffee aficionados probably weren't expecting to read news items about McDonald's McCaf, yet the fast-food giant made headlines this month for its coffee's understated quality and loyal cult following."It's consistently good," Donna Locklin, of Salado, Texas, told Fox News Digital. She started drinking McDonald's coffee about 20 years ago, she said, when she became eligible for the 25-cent "senior cup," but it quickly became one of her favorite brews.WHAT IS MUSHROOM COFFEE? CAFFEINE ALTERNATIVE OFFERS SURPRISING HEALTH BENEFITS"It's not too strong but has a rich brown color," she said. "It's never bitter and always fresh. And if it's ever not fresh, they will make you a fresh pot on the spot."Locklin isn't alone in her sentiments. McDonald's coffee drinkers have also taken to social media for some serious java talk."Why is McDonald's coffee almost always better tasting than just about anything I buy and brew myself?" one Reddit user asked.MCDONALD'S SECRET DRINK ITEM WITH 'COTTON CANDY FLAVOR' GOES VIRAL"Don't be ashamed," another user responded. "I like it, too.""Can't be beat for the price," another person wrote on Reddit. With coffee options available on nearly every corner these days, what makes McCaf special?McDonald's chef Mike Lingo revealed some of the history and science behind the blend in an interview with Fox News Digital."Coffee has been on McDonald's menu since 1948, when the menu had just nine items," he said.FAST-FOOD MENU ITEMS THAT CHEFS LIKE TO EAT"Over the years, we've worked to perfect the blend to give it the delicious, great flavor it has today. From the selection of our beans and quality of our roast to the equipment we use, we're paying attention to all the details to help ensure the best result."Lingo shared that McDonald's uses 100% Arabica coffee beans sourced from Rainforest Alliance-certified farms or from farms participating in the McCaf Sustainability Improvement Platform (SIP) program."This blend is specifically made just for McDonald's McCaf," he said. "It's a medium-dark roast with a full-body fruity, floral and chocolate note."Lingo said he's not surprised that McDonald's is appreciated for its coffee just as much as its iconic Quarter Pounder and fries."While people love our burgers and fries, when we first open our doors in the morning, we're a breakfast restaurant," Lingo said."Nothing compares to starting your morning with a delicious cup of coffee, and we've spent decades perfecting it."CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR LIFESTYLE NEWSLETTERThere's not one closely guarded secret to McDonald's coffee, Lingo said. It's a combination of things that keeps customers coming back."At McDonald's, we're focusing on making sure the little things are done right," he said."We have great partnerships in place to ensure that we are selecting the best beans for our blends and roast levels to bring out that great flavor."For more Lifestyle articles, visitfoxnews.com/lifestyleThough the price of the senior cup has gone up, Locklin and her three sisters, who all live in different cities, still meet up regularly for coffee at McDonald's."It's always just right," she said.

Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere almost brawled over Princess Diana at Elton Johns party: author
There was a clash of the titans over the Peoples Princess.Princess Diana not only captivated the public, but she apparently made Hollywood heavyweights weak in the knees. In his new book, "Dianaworld: An Obsession," author Edward White explores how the late Princess of Wales not only rocked the monarchy but also impacted pop culture decades after her death in 1997 at age 36.One story White shared in his book about the "Diana Effect" claims Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere nearly went toe-to-toe over the British royal at Elton Johns house in the '90s. The account in the book came from Johns husband, David Furnish.BILLY CRYSTAL ADMITS HE WOULDNT DATE PRINCESS DIANA AFTER HER REACTION TO MEG RYANS ICONIC MOVIE SCENEFox News Digital reached out to Stallone, 78, and Gere, 75, for comment. When a fan previously asked Stallone about the alleged incident in an old Instagram post, the actor responded, "Complete fabrication," Biography.com reported."Its a story that [also] comes from Eltons autobiography," White told Fox News Digital. "He invited Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere to a house party that Diana was also at. I mean, its Elton John, so probably everyone in the room was like an A-list celebrity or a member of some grand European royal family.""So they turned up," White shared. "According to Elton John, Sylvester Stallone turned up with the intention of picking up Diana, which is wishful thinking in several ways But he did that.""Sylvester Stallone walked in and saw Diana in deep conversation with Richard Gere," White claimed. "He felt that Stallone got angrier and angrier as the evening wore on, because Richard Gere was just dominating. Thats how he felt that he was dominating the conversation with Diana.""At some point, from what Elton John says, Sylvester Stallones emotions got the better of him," White continued. "He then squared up to Richard Gere, and they had to be separated It was these two alpha males squabbling over a woman who neither probably had a chance with, to be honest."John originally shared his account in his 2019 book, "Me." According to the singer, Gere and Diana were deep in conversation in front of the fireplace at his pad, which caused the mood of the party to change.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT NEWSLETTER"As the rest of us chatted, I couldn't help but notice a strange atmosphere in the room," John recalled, as quoted by Biography.com."Judging by the kind of looks he kept shooting them, Diana and Richard Gere's newly blossoming friendship was not going down well with Sylvester Stallone at all. I think he may have turned up to the party with the express intention of picking Diana up, only to find his plans for the evening ruined."WATCH: PRINCESS DIANA'S BALLET TEACHER RECALLS SURPRISE UPTOWN GIRL DANCEJohn wrote, "Straight away, Richard Gere and Diana seemed very taken with each other."According to John, the guests headed over to the dining room to eat. However, Gere and Stallone were noticeably missing. John said he then sent Furnish to find the men."He came back with both of them, but he was wearing a fairly ashen expression," John wrote, noting that Furnish said there was "a situation.""It transpired that hed discovered Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere in the corridor, squaring up to each other, apparently about to settle their differences over Diana by having a fistfight," wrote John, as quoted by the outlet. The outlet shared that Furnish managed to break up the situation in time for dinner.LIKE WHAT YOURE READING? CLICK HERE FOR MORE ENTERTAINMENT NEWSJohn, 78, wrote that Diana "seemed completely unruffled" by it all.Tessa Baring of the Barnardos childrens charity claimed that on another occasion, it was clear that Stallone was, like many others, eager to be in Dianas presence.According to Edwards book, Baring described that, during a lunch in London, Stallone "really, really wanted to come and sit next to the Princess of Wales.""We didnt let him do that, but we did let him sit next to a child who was sitting next to the Princess of Wales," said Baring, as quoted by Whites book."Baring remembered the occasion because she thought Diana hit upon an effective way of placating the film star, making the child feel included, and indulging her own desire to find out the latest gossip, by leaning over and asking Stallone questions about his love life as though she were asking them on Tracys behalf: Tracy and I want to know if youre married," wrote White.Stallone and Gere werent the only stars who were reportedly eager to spend a night with the princess.Whites book also described how Freddie Mercury, frontman of Queen, managed to get Diana to sneak out of the palace in disguise and head to "one of Londons most famous gay bars.""There are these stories of royals slipping out among the commoners in disguise, and they have this magical experience because theyre living just like one of us," White told Fox News Digital. "By dressing up in male drag and going out, she felt embraced by a marginalized community. She felt an affinity with them because, rightly or wrongly, she felt like an outsider, and they were very accepting of her.""I also think she took huge pleasure in taking risks," White continued. "It was a huge part of her identity that came back time and time again as I was researching the book. She just took the most incredibly audacious risks. She didnt stop to think twice about things very often But I think she also felt that she was a rolling stone without a real home. And I also think she felt like she wasnt living life properly unless she was taking risks.""You could argue that getting engaged to Prince Charles at age 19, having only met him a few times and not really knowing very much about what was expected of her, was a pretty gigantic gamble," said White. "Maybe one that didnt pay off."In his book, White cited the memoirs of Cleo Rocos, who claimed she spent an evening with Mercury, Diana and Kenny Everett after the princess persuaded her to take her to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. Everett warned the princess that the venue was "not for you full of hairy gay men."PRINCESS DIANA RIPPED THE CORSET OUT OF HER MET GALA DRESS, REFUSED TO WEAR PINK, DESIGNER CLAIMS"Diana was insistent, however, so Everett helped her disguise herself in male drag: a camouflage army jacket, hair tucked up into a leather cap and dark aviator sunglasses," Rocos recalled, as quoted by Whites book."Scrutinizing her in the half-light, we decided that the most famous icon of the modern world might just. JUST pass for a rather eccentrically dressed gay male model."White wrote that the disguise worked."It was fabulously outrageous and so bizarrely exciting no one, absolutely no one, recognized Diana."White wrote that the group reportedly stayed for one drink and left. Diana quietly returned to Kensington Palace and sent back Everetts clothes the next day.

Knives out for Fetterman: Maverick senator joins long line of Dems punished for breaking from left
On border security, support for Israel and diplomacy with President Donald Trump, Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., has bucked the Democratic Party on key issues since assuming office in 2022.A string of media reports emerged this month detailing Fetterman's alleged cognitive decline and waning support within the Democratic Party. A New York Magazine report sparked questions about Fetterman's mental stability. Subsequent reports by the Associated Press, detailing an outburst during a union meeting, and by Politico, which indicated he is losing traction among Pennsylvania Democrats, were slammed by several of his Capitol Hill colleagues as a coordinated smear campaign. In an era of partisan politics, Fetterman has embraced bipartisanship with newly elected Sen. Dave McCormick, R-Pa. When McComrick was elected in November, the Pennsylvanians traded jabs for joint dinners as Fetterman built his reputation for being willing to reach across the aisle. Fetterman also met with Trump's controversial Cabinet picks and worked with Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., to pass the Laken Riley Act this year. While Fetterman, who suffered a stroke during his 2022 Senate campaign, shut down questions about his mental fitness amid the relentless reports, it's not the first time a Democrat has been targeted after falling out of line with the party.LEAKS TO MEDIA ABOUT FETTERMAN ARE A COORDINATED SMEAR CAMPAIGN, HILL COLLEAGUES SAYSen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., faced the ire of the Democratic Party earlier this year when he joined Fetterman in voting to pass the Republicans' spending bill and avoid a government shutdown. Schumer, currently Senate minority leader, was slammed by progressive Democrats while the future of party leadership hangs in the balance.DEMOCRATIC SENATOR SAYS THERE NEEDS TO BE SPACE FOR FETTERMAN IN PARTY AS REPUBLICANS COME TO HIS DEFENSEFormer Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, I-Ariz., was once a Democrat but later registered as an independent. While she continued to caucus with her party, Sinema ruffled liberal feathers by opposing efforts to eliminate the filibuster rule and opposed former President Joe Bidens "Build Back Better" plan.In 2022, Sinema said she was leaving the party, adding that "nothing will change about my values or my behavior."Sinema became the first senator to switch parties since the late Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter then Republican famously announced that "my change in party will enable me to be re-elected" in 2009.Soon after Sinema came now-former West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin. Long seen as a moderate thorn in the side of the increasingly liberal Democrats, Manchin often clashed with his former party on environmental issues, given the Mountain States reliance on the fossil fuel industry.Things came to a head in Charleston when then-Gov. Jim Justice held up his bulldog Babydog backward in the legislative chamber and told actress Bette Midler who had trashed the state over one of Manchins such votes to "kiss her heinie."Former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard was once considered a rising star in the Democratic Party until her comments and behavior drew the ire of party elders like Hillary Clinton. The anti-interventionist Gabbard, who had appeared in the Moscow media, was anonymously slammed by Clinton in 2019 when she said that "somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary" was a "favorite of the Russians." An advisor later said Gabbard was the figure in question.Since then, Gabbard has gone on to make a full partisan 180, becoming a member of President Donald Trumps Cabinet.During Rep. Nancy Pelosis, D-Calif., historic speakership, another Democrat famously bucked the party and ultimately retired soon after trying to proverbially oust the queen.North Carolina Rep. Heath Shuler became disaffected by the liberal progression of the party and mounted an unsuccessful challenge to Pelosis leadership role after Democrats suffered massive losses in the 2010 midterms.Shuler, a former then-Washington Redskins quarterback, had been the leader of the moderate Blue Dog Democrat caucus when he took aim at the speakership.Fetterman's office did not respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Democratic National Committee panel voids David Hogg's election as party vice chair
The Democratic National Convention voted to void its election of David Hogg as vice chair of the Democratic Party on Monday. The vote comes after mounting internal criticism of Hogg, though party officials say the vote was based on a procedural challenge made in February claiming Hogg and another official were improperly elected. The DNC will vote later this year on whether to remove Hogg."[Its] impossible to ignore the broader context of my work to reform the party which loomed large over this vote," Hogg said in a statement after the vote, according to Politico. "The DNC has pledged to remove me, and this vote has provided an avenue to fast-track that effort."Monday's vote also ousted Pennsylvania state Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta as DNC vice chair.Christine Pelosi, a member of the credentials committee and daughter of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., argued the vote was not in reaction to their performance.DEMOCRATS' VICE CHAIR GETS ULTIMATUM: STAY NEUTRAL IN PRIMARIES OR STEP DOWN FROM PARTY LEADERSHIP"First, I want to say clearly and explicitly that this decision has nothing to do with the service of any DNC officer, especially [Hogg] or [Kenyatta]. This is about a violation of parliamentary procedure that was raised in a challenge filed back in February by another candidate for Vice Chair.""I think I speak for all of us on the Committee when I say I hope both of these talented individuals put their names on the ballot again," she said. "Well move fast to get this resolved. I have total faith in our DNC members to review this issue and vote their conscience."DEMOCRATS VICE CHAIR IGNITES CIVIL WAR, TARGETING 'ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL' INCUMBENTS IN PRIMARIESHogg's potential removal comes after he announced plans to spend $20 million to primary older Democratic lawmakers in blue districts to make room for new Democratic leaders.Hogg clashed with veteran Democratic strategist James Carville over the plan during a joint appearance on journalist Tara Palmeris podcast.Carville criticized it as "abominable" and "jacka--ery of the highest level" for prioritizing pushing out Democrats over beating Republicans. Hogg shot back that the party is capable of both. Carville demanded Hogg focus on winning elections against the GOP.Hogg insisted that the point of his strategy is to "win elections.""Its not to win an election in Queens which you dont ever run against a Republican. Its to help Democrats win elections."The two ended up burying the hatchet, with Carville posting to X that the DNC "needs him," as he "fights" for the party.Fox News' Gabriel Hays contributed to this report

No one with the last name "Allen" was listed on either the boys' or girls' roster in 2022, Allen's freshman year.A lawyer read a statement from Allen at a Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association board of directors meeting back in March, saying that forcing transgender individuals to compete against those who share a biological gender will hurt their development."If you remove the ability of trans people to compete with a team that corresponds with their gender, then youll strip them of their opportunity to develop as people," Allen said, via the Philadelphia Inquirer. "Trans athletes, like any other high school athlete, are just kids who want to compete."Allen's mother, Sarah Hansen, said at that meeting that she and her family have been on a journey for her to transition to the girl that she always has been, and having Allen compete against boys "would be cruel."MORE MAINE SCHOOLS BAN TRANSGENDER ATHLETES FROM GIRLS' SPORTS, DEFYING DEM LEADERSHIP AND SIDING WITH TRUMP"My child is a female in her heart and soul, and according to her medical labs," Hansen said."Luces presence on the team fosters a spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and inclusivity,"team head coach Christopher Jackson said at that same meeting. "They are admired for their bravery, work ethic, and unwavering commitment to the sport they love."Hansen said that Allen is "not a male who wants to play against girls, not a predator who wants to find a way into the female locker room, and not a male who isnt good enough to be a boy. She is a girl."The state of Pennsylvania arguably put biological males competing against girls and women on the map, when UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas won a Division I national championship in 2022.Amid his executive order to keep biological males out of girls' and women's sports, President Donald Trump's administration began a Title IX investigation into the Ivy League School.Schools in Pennsylvania have defied the order that was signed in February.
