Judge says gag order 'likely' violated in Bryan Kohberger's Idaho murder case
An Idaho judge said on Wednesday it's "likely" someone associated with law enforcement or the prosecution violated a gag order after "sensitive information" was aired during a TV episode about the Bryan Kohberger case in May.On May 9, a TV episode about Bryan Kohberger case aired which featured new cell phone records, search records, surveillance video and more. Kohberger is accused of killing Xana Kernodle, 20, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, and Ethan Chapin, 20.New information shared during the "Dateline" episode included surveillance video from a nearby house showing a car similar to Bryan Kohberger's that was in the area of the King Road house several times just before the four students were killed. The episode also claimed that FBI cellphone tower data showed that Kohberger's cellphone pinged nearly a dozen times to a tower that provides coverage to an area within 100 feet of 1122 King Road, where the four University of Idaho students were killed.CAR SIMILAR TO BRYAN KOHBERGER'S SEEN NEAR VICTIMS' HOME MULTIPLE TIMES JUST BEFORE ALLEGED KILLINGS: REPORTIn a Thursday afternoon order, Judge Steven Hippler said the court's gag order was "likely" violated by someone, who at one point, was associated with law enforcement or the prosecution team.Hippler ordered anyone who worked with law enforcement and prosecutors on this case to retain all communications and data relating to the murder investigation. The judge also ordered prosecutors to submit a list, on camera, of all individuals within law enforcement and the prosecuting agencies that have access to the information shared during the episode, giving them a seven-day deadline.Fox News Digital reached out to NBC for comment. This is a developing story.

State Department confirms 'constructive' nuclear talks with Iran; Trump says deal 'sort of' agreed to
The State Department said nuclear talks between the U.S. and Iran have been constructive, and President Donald Trump has been clear about wanting to see diplomacy.U.S. State Department deputy spokesperson Tommy Pigott was asked during a press briefing Thursday about comments made by Trump, and he said the U.S. and Iran were close to an Iran nuclear deal.Trump, speaking in Doha, Qatar, said he thinks the U.S. and Iran "are getting close" to making a deal without any violence. In Trump fashion, he said there are two steps "a very nice step and a violent step" which he added consists of violence people have never seen before. The president also said Thursday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), that the U.S. and Iran have "sort of" agreed to terms on a nuclear deal.TRUMP SAYS IRAN MUST DITCH CONCEPT OF A NUCLEAR WEAPON AHEAD OF MORE TALKS"Iran has sort of agreed to the terms. Theyre not going to make I call it, in a friendly way nuclear dust," Trump told reporters, suggesting a growing alignment with the terms he has been seeking. "Were not going to be making any nuclear dust in Iran."While Pigott would not comment on private diplomatic conversations or negotiations, he reiterated Trumps stance on the matter."The president has been clear that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon," Pigott told reporters. "The talks have been described as constructive by the participants in them, and so, again, Iran can never have a nuclear weapon. And the president has been clear. He wants diplomacy. He wants to see a diplomatic solution here."Pigott made his remarks as Trump tours the Middle East, making stops in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.TRUMP CALLS FOR 'NUCLEAR PEACE AGREEMENT' WITH IRAN RATHER THAN BLOWING COUNTRY 'TO SMITHEREENS'Trump, while speaking at the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh Wednesday, reiterated his desire to make a deal with Iran and called for building upon the progress of the Abraham Accords by adding more countries to the historic agreement.Trump made the comments while addressing leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council as part of his four-day visit to the region.TRUMP SAYS HE'LL BE 'LEADING THE PACK' TO WAR WITH IRAN IF DEAL PROSPECTS WHITHER AWAY"I want to make a deal with Iran. I want to do something if possible. But for that to happen, it must stop sponsoring terror, halt its bloody proxy wars and permanently and verifiably cease its pursuit of nuclear weapons. They cannot have a nuclear weapon," Trump said.Though Trump said he wants to make a deal with Iran and see Tehran prosper, he also recently accused the Iranian regime of not only hurting its own nation, but the region at large."Iran's leaders have focused on stealing their people's wealth to fund terror and bloodshed abroad. Most tragic of all, they have dragged down an entire region with them," Trump said. The president pointed to the "countless lives lost" in Irans effort to prop up the former Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria, which collapsed in December, and accused its support of Hezbollah for the downfall of Beirut, which he said was "once called the Paris of the Middle East."It is unclear how Trumps negative comments toward Tehran could affect ongoing nuclear negotiations with Iran.Still, The Associated Press reported Thursday that a top political, military and nuclear advisor to Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, told NBC News Wednesday that Tehran stands ready to get rid of its stockpiles of highly enriched uranium that can be weaponized, agree to enrich uranium only to the lower levels needed for civilian use and allow international inspectors to supervise the process. In return, Ali Shamkhani, the advisor, said Iran wants an immediate lifting of all economic sanctions.Fox News Digitals Bradford Betz and Caitlin McFall and The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Scottie Scheffler uncharacteristically upset over PGA Championship rules decision
Scottie Scheffler, the world's top-ranked golfer, appeared to turn some heads at the PGA Championship Thursday. The normally even-keeled and quiet golfer took exception to the PGA of America's decision not to play lift, clean, place for the first round of the PGA Championship at the soggy Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte. The PGA of America is the governing body of the tournament, which is the second major of the season.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMOn Wednesday, the organization released a statement saying it would "play the ball down, as it lies." The announcement came after the course was doused with several inches of rain before the first round.Several players were effectively forced to contend with what is often referred to as "mud balls," making the trajectory of hit balls less manageable.PGA CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS: LIST OF CHAMPIONS BY YEARScheffler hit a tee shot to the middle of the fairway on hole No. 16, and the shot hooked to the left and went into the water for a double bogey."This is going to be the last answer that I give on playing it up or down, Scheffler said. "I mean, I dont make the rules. I think when youre looking at the purest forms of golf, like if youre going to go play links golf, theres absolutely no reason on a links golf course you should play the ball up. It doesnt matter how much rain they get. The course could be flooded underwater, and the ball is still going bounce somehow because of the way the turf is and the ground underneath the turf."In American golf, its significantly different. When you have overseeded fairways that are not sand-capped, theres going to be a lot of mud on the ball, and thats just part of it. When you think about the purest test of golf, I dont personally think that hitting the ball in the middle of the fairway you should get punished for."Scheffler acknowledged the position "a golf purist" would likely take, but the two-time Masters winner suggested the rule decision created unforeseen conditions for competitors."On a golf course as good of condition as this one is, this is probably a situation in which it would be the least likely difference in playing it up because most of the lies you get out here are all really good."I understand how a golf purist would be, Oh, play it as it lies. But I dont think they understand what its like literally working your entire life to learn how to hit a golf ball and control it and hit shots and control distance, and all of a sudden, due to a rules decision, that is completely taken away from us by chance."In golf, theres enough luck throughout a 72-hole tournament that I dont think the story should be whether or not the ball is played up or down. When I look at golf tournaments, I want the purest, fairest test of golf, and, in my opinion, maybe the ball today should have been played up.Scheffler rallied from the tough break on the 16th hole and finished Thursday 2-under par. Ryan Gerard was at the top of the leaderboard Thursday evening. The PGA Championship continues Friday.Follow Fox News Digitals sports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

3 PGA Tour stars implode on PGA Championship's disastrous 16th hole
The leaderboard at the 2025 PGA Championship is a head-scratcher for some, but Quail Hollow Clubs challenge could be summed up perfectly by one hole the top three golfers in the world all struggled with during Thursdays opening round.Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlory and Xander Schauffele are ranked one through three in the Official World Golf Ranking, respectively, and they all finished with a double bogey on the par-4, 535-yard 16th hole in their opening rounds.Their trouble with the hole was on full display as a featured group for the start of the tournament, and McIlroy fired his tee shot to the left, which is an area to avoid due to water. The rough caught his ball, but an awkward lie didnt allow him to get the ball more than 20 yards into the fairway.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMFrom there, McIlroys approach missed the green to the right, and the back left pin didnt make it easy to stick it close to walk away with a bogey. He had a 12-foot putt to walk away with a five, but he missed and made double instead.Scheffler and Schauffele had better luck off the tee, but they both struggled to find the green in regulation. With water around it, they both found the bottom with their approach shots that went too far.GOLFER HUNTER MAHAN SUGGESTS PGA CHAMPIONSHIP COURSE SHARES SIMILIARITIES WITH THE KARDASHIANSBoth players dropped in the penalty area to continue the hole, and, again, the location was treacherous for all golfers and made it difficult to get it close. Scheffler had 52 feet to card a bogey, but he hit in a seven-footer to make a double. Then, Schauffele two-putted from about 34 feet.Scheffler fared better than McIlroy and Schauffele, finishing his opening round tied for 19th at 2-under. Schauffele walked into the clubhouse at 1-over after 18 holes, while McIlroy, winner of the Masters in April, was 3-over after shooting a 74.After his round, Scheffler told reporters the dreaded "mud ball" was the cause of his 16th hole mishap."Its one of those deals where its frustrating to hit the ball in the middle of the fairway and get mud on it and have no idea where its going to go," he told reporters. "I understand its part of the game, but theres nothing more frustrating for a player."You spend your whole life trying to learn how to control a golf ball, and due to a rules decision, all of a sudden you have absolutely no control over where that golf ball goes. But I dont make the rules. I just have to deal with the consequences of those rules."The three werent the only top golfers struggling to figure out Quail Hollow Thursday. Bryson DeChambeau (1-over), Max Homa (2-over), Jordan Spieth (3-over) and Brooks Koepka (4-over) were all struggling to find a groove. Phil Mickelson even carded an 8-over 79, which will be virtually impossible to get down before the cut Friday. Not everyone had the same experience. American Ryan Gerard was leading for most of the day after shooting a 5-under 66. Australian Cam Davis matched him, walking into the clubhouse with the same score, though he could've led at 6-under if not for a bogey on the final hole.Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X, and subscribe tothe Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

RFK Jr's HHS to end routine COVID vaccine guidance for children, pregnant women: report
The Trump administration is backing away from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations to vaccinate children and pregnant women against COVID-19, according to a new report. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), led by Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., is planning to pull federal recommendations that these groups get the COVID vaccine as a routine measure, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday. The CDC currently recommends that everyone aged 6 months and older get vaccinated, but that guidance may be scrapped in the coming days.MULTIMILLION-DOLLAR BIDEN-ERA COVID-19 VAX PROJECT HALTED BY TRUMPS HHSIt's unclear whether HHS plans to drop the recommendation entirely or simply stop pushing it for everyone across the board, the report said. The move would be a major shift in federal health policy and would mark a break from the blanket-vaccine approach that dominated the early years of the pandemic.Few parents and expectant mothers have followed through with recent COVID boosters. As of April, CDC data shows just 13% of children and 14% of pregnant women had received the latest shot. The change comes as the FDA, under Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary, prepares to roll out a tougher approval process for vaccines.TRUMP HEALTH SECRETARY NOMINEE RFK JR CLEARS SENATE FINANCE CONFIRMATION VOTESpeaking Thursday at a gathering of food and drug lawyers, Makary said, "We want to see vaccines that are available for high-risk individuals, and at the same time, we want some good science. We want some good clinical data."Kennedy has long been critical of mRNA vaccines and mass vaccination campaigns. As HHS secretary, he now has the authority to revise CDC guidance. The Trump administration said it plans to drop routine COVID vaccination guidance for kids and pregnant women, marking a major shift in federal health policy, the WSJ reported. The expected shift would undercut one of the most promoted health policies of the first Trump administration, Operation Warp Speed, and raise questions about whether insurers will continue covering the shots.CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPCritics of the move told the Journal it could discourage vaccination and leave immunocompromised people more vulnerable. Supporters say it brings policy back in line with science and common sense. Both HHS and CDC did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., over the possible arrest of Democratic lawmakers for an ICE protest clash.Three New Jersey Democratic members of Congress Reps. Bonnie Watson Coleman, Robert Menendez and LaMonica McIver were accused of storming a Newark ICE facility on Friday, along with Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, who was arrested and charged with trespassing. While the Department of Homeland Security is considering arresting the Democratic lawmakers, Ocasio-Cortez warned against there being any consequences for them.In a video published on Instagram Saturday, she said, "You lay a finger on someone on Bonnie Watson Coleman or any of the representatives that were there you lay a finger on them, were going to have a problem."ICE FACILITY DEMOCRATS 'STORMED' HOLDS CHILD RAPISTS, MURDERERS: OFFICIALSBORDER CZAR TOM HOMAN FIRES BACK AT AOC FOR TAUNTING HIM AT IMMIGRATION TOWN HALL"If anyone's breaking the law in this situation, it's not members of Congress. It's the Department of Homeland Security. It's people like Tom Homan and Secretary Kristi Noem," Ocasio-Cortez added.Homan was asked about the video during an interview with CNNs Jake Tapper on Thursday, where he brushed off her comments."First of all, you cant intimidate me. Come on. Give me a break," Homan replied."I was wearing a green uniform, Border Patrol agent for five years before she was even born. I had more than three decades enforcing immigration law before she became a member of Congress," he said. "I worked for six presidents. Ive seen policies. Ive seen hundreds of policies. Some worked, some didnt. But you cant deny the success of the Trump administration when it comes to border security. Again, the most secure border in the history of this nation."The border czar then made a distinction between disliking ICE and refusing to cooperate with them."Ive said from day one, and she knows this: You can not support ICE. Shame on you. You can support sanctuary cities. Shame on you. But you cant cross the line," he said. "You cant knowingly impede ICE law enforcement officers. That is a felony. You cant harbor and conceal, knowingly harbor and conceal illegal aliens from ICE. That is a felony. And you certainly cant commit criminal trespass."CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE OF MEDIA AND CULTUREHoman then slammed Ocasio-Cortez, arguing the Trump administration serves her constituents better than she does."You know, and as far as New York, her district, this administration has done more to protect her district than she has," he argued. Florida AG warns tony gym after woman encounters 'man in a bikini' in locker room
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has warned a high-end fitness club it must change its bathroom policy after a recent complaint or face prosecution under Gov. Ron DeSantis "Let Kids Be Kids" law protecting children from sexually explicit content and gender ideology."Men dont belong in female restrooms and locker rooms.
