This is a war that should have never happened," Trump said, reiterating his belief that the Ukrainian president is in part at fault for Russias illegal 2022 invasion."I was a little bothered by the fact that Zelensky was saying, Well, I have to get constitutional approval," Trump said. Woman's snoring was symptom of rare form of cancer: 'Don't ignore it'
A mother in the U.K. who began snoring for the first time in her life was stunned to learn the unexpected symptom was a sign of a rare and potentially life-threatening cancer."I started snoring, which Id never done before," she recalled. "I was waking myself up, breathing through my mouth rather than my nose."Claire Barbery, 51, initially brushed off the blockage on one side of her nose, blaming it on the after-effects of COVID-19 or irritation from frequent testing while working at a care facility, as reported by SWNS.DOCTORS REVEAL KEY SIGNS OF LYME DISEASE AS TICK SEASON INTENSIFIES ACROSS USIt wasnt until the persistent congestion worsened and she started snoring in her sleep that she sought medical advice."I very nearly canceled that appointment because I didn't want to be wasting NHS time," Barbery said, per SWNS. "Theres nothing wrong, I thought. But looking back, that decision could have cost me my life."Barbery tried using a steroid spray without success before being referred to an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist in January 2023.After undergoing scans and a biopsy, she was diagnosed with olfactory neuroblastoma, a rare type of cancer that develops in the upper part of the nasal cavity.Doctors discovered a 5-centimeter tumor that had already begun eroding the bone at the base of Barbery's skull.FORGET 10,000 STEPS RESEARCH REVEALS THE REAL NUMBER YOU NEED FOR BETTER HEALTHIt was a dangerous and complex case requiring urgent intervention. The surgery was performed at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham by consultant surgeon Shahz Ahmed, a skull base specialist, SWNS reported. The procedure, which was featured in the Channel 5 documentary "Surgeons: A Matter of Life or Death," involved removing the tumor along with Barberys olfactory bulbs, leaving her with a permanent loss of smell."Claire had a very rare form of cancer that needed to be removed," Ahmed said in the report. "Untreated, it could have metastasized and spread into the neck and the rest of the body."Because the tumor had already spread through the skull base into the bottom of the brain, the surgery posed serious risks due to the proximity to vital structures."The key worries were operating between the left and the right eye," Ahmed said. "The main blood supply to the brain is in very close proximity, so the risk of seizures, stroke, injury to the brain and loss of life were all very real."The surgery was a success and there were no complications. Following the procedure, Barbery underwent six weeks of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. She is now under regular medical monitoring and continues to recover, gradually returning to work and enjoying time with her husband and daughters, SWNS reported. Now living in Newquay, Cornwall, Barbery is using her experience to advocate for awareness of head and neck cancers.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR OUR HEALTH NEWSLETTERShe recently partnered with the Get A-Head Charitable Trust to raise awareness for World Head and Neck Cancer Day."If you know your body, then you've got to push," she said. "If there's something wrong, don't ignore it."According to SWNS, Barberys case is a reminder that even minor or unusual symptoms, like snoring, can sometimes be signs of something far more serious. For more Health articles, visitwww.foxnews.com/healthLooking back, Barbery said shes grateful she went to the appointment she almost canceled."Even then, I didnt want to waste anyones time," she admitted. Sports pundit Skip Bayless blasts NFL teams as 'racist fools' for passing on Shedeur Sanders after QB's debut
Sports pundit Skip Bayless made a racial claim about NFL teams after Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders had an impressive preseason debut on Friday night.Bayless was quick to scold teams who passed on the former Colorado Buffaloes standout during the draft, allowing him to fall to the fifth round to the Browns. Cleveland made the pick even after trading down in the first round to select defensive tackle Mason Graham and already selecting Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel in the third round.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM"Tonight, Shedeur Sanders made the entire National Football League look like a whole bunch of petty fools and, in some cases, racist fools. In many cases, Deion (Sanders)-despising fools," Bayless said in a video. "Tonight at Carolina, Shedeur Sanders made all those teams that had 143 chances to draft him before he went 144, he shamed all of them, including the Cleveland Browns, who finally took him in the fifth round."Bayless didnt elaborate on how Sanders performance made the league look like "racist fools." But he was adamant that he was behind the quarterback all along.BROWNS COACH ADDS TO QUARTERBACK INTRIGUE FOLLOWING SHEDEUR SANDERS' GREAT PRESEASON DEBUTSanders free fall to the fifth round of the draft back in the spring, which sparked a massive debate during and after the event."It was the biggest disgrace in the history of the National Football League that somehow the sheep-think NFL wanted to teach Shedeur, and in turn Deion, a lesson for how he interviewed, how he carried himself, how he was the highest-paid NIL college player ever," Bayless continued.Sanders making the roster still isnt set in stone as there are four quarterbacks vying for a roster spot with Deshaun Watson on the injured reserve. But his performance against the Carolina Panthers got him off to a good start. He had two touchdown passes and 138 passing yards in the win.Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.
