Vice President JD Vance would be favored to secure the Republican nomination for president in 2028, President Donald Trump said Tuesday.Trump was at the South Court Auditorium where he signed an executive order to create a 2028 Los Angeles Olympics task force when senior Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked him if Vance was likely to become the face of the Make America Great Again movement after noting the president said he wouldn't be running for a third term."You could clear the entire Republican field right now," Doocy told Trump. "Do you agree that the heir-apparent to MAGA is JD Vance?"RUBIO DOWNPLAYS 2028 TALK, TOUTS VANCE AS TRUMP'S SUCCESSORIn his answer, Trump noted that Secretary of State Marco Rubio could team up with Vance to create a formidable ticket."Well, I think most likely. So it's too early, obviously, to talk about it, but certainly he's doing a great job," he added. Christina Applegate was admitted to the hospital over the weekend after suffering excruciating pain while on a European vacation.The "Married With Children" actress insisted that "things are messy, but I'm going to be OK," while chatting on a live episode of her "MeSsy" podcast with co-host Jamie-Lynn Sigler.Applegate, 53, began feeling discomfort while overseas, and initially believed she was experiencing symptoms related to appendicitis.CHRISTINA APPLEGATE HOSPITALIZED MORE THAN 30 TIMES IN MS BATTLE"I went to Europe to see family, and I was not feeling good the whole time I was there," she admitted on the episode. Teamsters president Sean OBrien accused then-Vice President Kamala Harris of pressuring his union for an endorsement Tuesday, recounting a tense meeting in which she allegedly said the union "better get on board."OBrien spoke with The Free Press founder and editor Bari Weiss on her "Honestly" podcast about who truly represents the American working class in a shifting political landscape.He described one off-putting encounter a Teamsters leader had with the 2024 presidential candidate in a photo op line:"So, Joan goes in the line and Joan says, 'I'm Joan Corey. I'm a vice president with the Teamsters Union,' and [Harris] pointed her finger at Joan and said, 'Teamsters better get on board,' and so Joan says, 'Excuse me?' 'Yeah, Teamsters better get on board. I don't know why you haven't endorsed me yet.' A private funeral service was held on Tuesday evening for Hulk Hogan, where dozens were gathered at Indian Rocks Church in Florida to celebrate the life of the wrestling icon.Hogan died last month at 71 years old after suffering a heart attack on July 24 at his home in Clearwater, according to the Pinella County medical examiner.
