Backlash against Sydney Sweeney jeans/genes ad gets mocked by WH: Americans are 'tired of this bulls---
A top White House official waded into the Sydney Sweeney-American Eagle advertisement controversy late Tuesday, calling left-wing backlash and claims of a "shift toward whiteness" more "cancel culture run amok."Steven Cheung, President Donald Trumps communications director, reposted an MSNBC headline claiming Sweeneys ad promoted racial superiority in the form of genetic "whiteness" and wrecked it in a caption."Cancel culture run amok," Cheung said."This warped, moronic, and dense liberal thinking is a big reason why Americans voted the way they did in 2024. They're tired of this bulls---."THE WAR ON HOT WOMEN: WHY THE WOKE MOB HATES SYDNEY SWEENEYWhile some TikTokers simply noted the ads multiple similarities to a 1980 Calvin Klein ad featuring then-child-model Brooke Shields others lambasted Sweeneys version as a sinister nod to eugenics; citing how "great genes" and "great jeans" are homophones.TikTokkers, compiled by the New York Post, lambasted the ad as "Nazi propaganda" and "fascist-weird."Activist Zellie Imani, whose X profile includes the phrase "All Black Everything," called the ad a "love letter to White nationalism and eugenic fantasies, and Sydney Sweeney knew it."Those types of responses drew their own incredulous comment from Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas:"Wow. Now the crazy Left has come out against beautiful women -- Im sure that will poll well," Cruz said on X.First son Donald Trump Jr. took to Instagram to troll critics as well.Trump Jr. posted an artificially-generated image of his father in the ad instead of Sweeney and paraphrased Owen Wilsons fashion-designer-character catchphrase from the Ben Stiller film "Zoolander."SYDNEY SWEENEY FROLICS WITH MYSTERY MAN AS AMERICAN EAGLE DROPS PROVOCATIVE NEW AD"Hanse Um, Donald is so hot right now," Trump Jr. quipped.Such signaling from the first family and the White House has also led to feelings that the cultural tide is turning in favor of the right for the first time in decades.Proponents of that view also point to the cancellation of Stephen Colbert and the entire CBS "Late Show" franchise.American Eagle will reportedly be donating proceeds from such jeans to the national Crisis Text Line to support victims of domestic violence. The company defended the ad in a statement last week:CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP"This fall season, American Eagle is celebrating what makes our brand iconic trendsetting denim that leads, never follows," American Eagle & Aerie president and creative director Jennifer Foyle said."Innovative fits and endless versatility reflect how our community wears their denim: mixed, matched, layered and lived in. With Sydney Sweeney front and center, she brings the allure, and we add the flawless wardrobe for the winning combo of ease, attitude and a little mischief."American Eagle CEO Jay Schottenstein and family also have friendly ties with the Trumps, as the Wall Street Journal reported they have been Mar-a-Lago members for years and Schottensteins son held his wedding at the Palm Beach compound.

Newsom office dismisses crime fears, defends sanctuary policies amid surge in violence: 'Fake news'
In the wake of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer being shot allegedly by two criminal illegal immigrants earlier this month, experts are calling attention to how sanctuary policies sheltering lawbreakers are directly responsible for rising crime and violence in Democratic-run jurisdictions.California Gov. Gavin Newsom's office, however, pushed back against the notion that sanctuary policies are to blame, with a spokesperson calling it "fake news" and an attempt by the Trump administration to justify "their cruel and militaristic actions."This comes after two illegal immigrants Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez and Cristian Aybar Berroa were arrested in connection with an off-duty CBP officer being shot in the face in a New York City park. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), both illegals have long criminal histories and had ICE detainers against them that had been ignored by New York City officials.Last week, the Trump Justice Department announced it is suing New York City over its longstanding sanctuary policies, which DHS said enabled the shooting. The lawsuit, filed in a New York federal court, names New York City Mayor Eric Adams and several other city officials as defendants. The lawsuit claims the city has enacted policies with the intent of impeding the federal government's ability to enforce immigration laws.BASS, NEWSOM MORE INTERESTED IN SHELTERING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS THAN REBUILDING FROM FIRES: STEPHEN MILLERJoe Borelli, a former New York City Council member, told Fox News Digital that sanctuary policies have made many of Americas major cities "demonstrably" less safe."We have had about a decade of this sanctuary city experiment in Democratic-run cities, and after all this time, we can now definitively say its been a net loss. And thats being polite," said Borelli."In truth, it has drained the coffers of American cities and states and has demonstrably made our neighborhoods less safe, especially those that are home to our legal immigrant communities," he added.Andrew Arthur, a former immigration judge and policy expert at the Center for Immigration Studies, told Fox News Digital that the continued criminality of individuals like the two suspects in New York is "a direct result of the sanctuary policies."He said the suspects in the New York shooting had a "slew of prior arrests, any one of which could have resulted in their arrest by ICE and deportation from the United States.""But they didn't because they occurred largely in sanctuary jurisdictions where ICE didn't have cooperation from the local authorities," he explained.NOEM BLAMES 'SANCTUARY' POLICIES FOR MIGRANT ACCUSED OF SHOOTING OFF-DUTY CBP OFFICER"The contention that is made is that those policies are necessary in order to protect the immigrant communities, but the only things that sanctuary policies actually protect are criminals," he said. "States and localities like California, Los Angeles, Denver, Boston, Massachusetts, New York and New York City that do have sanctuary jurisdictions make it much more likely that criminal aliens will be released onto the street to re-offend."Lora Ries, a border security and immigration expert at the Heritage Foundation, predicted that if the sanctuary policies continue, "there's going to be more preventable crime and more victims who shouldn't be victims.""It has not just been a national security threat, but a personal safety threat," she said, adding, "and we have already too many examples of preventable crimes because perpetrators shouldn't have been here. They either snuck across the border the first time, the second time, the third time, committed crimes previously and either weren't prosecuted or weren't detained or and or weren't turned over to ICE."Ries pointed out that, despite Democratic claims that Trumps immigration crackdown is unpopular, it is sanctuary policies that allow criminal illegals to evade ICE - that the public is opposed to.Since 2015, a majority of Americans have generally favored the deportation of illegal immigrants. The latest Fox News survey, released on Monday, found roughly 8 in 10Democrats, 6 in 10 independents, and 4 in 10 Republicans agree that at least illegal immigrants charged with crimes should be deported, while others should be offered a path to stay.DEMS' SANCTUARY POLICIES SHIELD 'GANGBANGERS,' HARM LATINO FAMILIES, BUSINESSES, SAYS HISPANIC GOP LAWMAKERRep. Gabe Evans, R-Colo., whose district includes portions of Denver, told Fox News Digital that sanctuary policies have made Colorado the second most dangerous state in the country."It's an absolutely horrible impact on public safety. And that horrible impact is tied directly back to sanctuary state policies that handcuff cops and roll out the red carpet for criminal organizations like Tren de Aragua," he explained."We're talking guns and drugs and human trafficking and child abuse," he continued. "And the predators and the criminals that are perpetuating these violent acts, peddling fentanyl in our community, literally killing Americans and Coloradans by the thousands, these are the people that have been festering in our society under the sanctuary state policies in Colorado."Evans added that besides inhibiting law enforcement from above, sanctuary policies also "sends a message to other outside groups that it's okay to go and interfere with and, at times, outright assault law enforcement officers."Tricia McLaughlin, Department of Homeland Security assistant secretary, placed the blame directly on Democratic politicians for the sanctuary policies."When sanctuary politicians ignore ICE detainers, they are protecting criminal illegal aliens at the expense of American citizens," McLaughlin told Fox News Digital.ICE SIT-IN 'PHOTO OP' BY MARYLAND DEMS BLASTED BY DHS CHIEF NOEM"Make no mistake, Democrat politicians like Hakeem Jeffries, Mayor Wu of Boston,Tim Walz, and Mayor Bass of Los Angeles are contributing to the surge in assaults of our ICE officers through their repeated vilification and demonization of ICE. From comparisons to the modern-day Nazi Gestapo to glorifying rioters, the violent rhetoric of these sanctuary politicians is beyond the pale.""These reckless policies have deadly consequences," she added. However, Diana Crofts-Pelayo, a spokesperson for Newsoms office, pushed back."Their assertions are fake news," said Crofts-Pelayo, adding, "This is the Trump teams attempt to justify their cruel and militaristic actions upon entire populations, including Americans, legal status holders and even U.S.-born citizens."She pointed to new data released by the California Department of Justice that indicated overall crime in the state decreased in most categories in 2024 compared to 2023. The report said that the violent crime rate in the state had decreased in 2024 by 6%. However, it said that violent crime was still up 10.8% compared to 2019. Newsom entered office in January 2019.Although the California homicide rate is up compared to 2019 (4.3% versus 4.2%), the spokesperson pointed out that it is still the "second lowest since at least 1966."ICE ARRESTS OVER 200 ILLEGAL ALIEN CHILD SEX OFFENDERS IN HOUSTON AREA IN PAST 6 MONTHSCrofts-Pelayo said that California under Newsom "continues to lead the way out of the COVID-induced crime surge" and that the Trump administrations "extremist agenda is not about safety it's about cruelty and quotas.""Trump isdetaining U.S. citizens, ripping families apart, and disappearing parents andworkers into inhumane federal detention centers to meet self-imposed massive arrest quotas," she said, adding, "Our federal leaders should protect the businesses and workers that support our communities and not build private prisons to warehouse the people who we rely on in this state and this country for our prosperity."Fox News Digital also reached out to New York City Mayor Eric Adams, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz for comment.

How AI is now helping hackers fool your browser's security tools
Cybercriminals continually seek new ways to expose you to phishing and scam sites designed to steal your credentials or install malware that can compromise your personal data and system. Although browsers and search engines like Chrome and Google Search actively scan and take action against spam and malicious sites, they rely on automated tools to manage the huge volume of threats.Recently, hackers have developed AI-powered cloaking software that enables them to bypass these scanners by showing benign pages to security systems while revealing harmful content only to real users. This advanced cloaking technique significantly increases the effectiveness and durability of phishing and malware sites, making it harder for traditional detection methods to protect you.Sign up for my FREE CyberGuy ReportGet my best tech tips, urgent security alerts, and exclusive deals delivered straight to your inbox. Plus, youll get instant access to my Ultimate Scam Survival Guide - free when you join myCYBERGUY.COM/NEWSLETTERHOW AI CHATBOTS ARE HELPING HACKERS TARGET YOUR BANKING ACCOUNTSAs discovered by researchers at Slashnext, cybercriminals are adopting a new tactic that makes scam websites nearly invisible to the security systems meant to stop them. Known as web cloaking, the technique uses artificial intelligence to hide phishing pages, fake storefronts, and malware delivery sites from automated scanners while showing them only to human victims.WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)?Platforms like Hoax Tech and JS Click Cloaker are emerging as key players in this trend. While both market themselves as traffic filtering tools for digital marketers, they are also being used to protect criminal infrastructure. These services use advanced fingerprinting, machine learning, and real-time decision-making to control what each visitor sees.Hoax Tech analyzes hundreds of data points to build a digital fingerprint of every visitor, from their browser configuration and plugins to their geographic location and IP history. The companys AI engine, called Matchex, compares this data to a massive database of known crawlers and security scanners. If the system detects a suspicious visitor, it redirects them to a clean, harmless site. If it identifies the visitor as legitimate, it displays the actual scam content.GET FOX BUSINESS ON THE GO BY CLICKING HEREJS Click Cloaker takes a similar approach but claims to evaluate over 900 parameters per visit. The system scans for behavioral anomalies and uses historical click data to decide whether to allow access to the real page. It also includes features like traffic splitting and A/B testing, giving its users a suite of tools more commonly seen in professional marketing software. At the core of both platforms is the "white page" and "black page" system. The system shows security scanners the white page, which looks benign and passes review. It serves human victims the black page, which contains the scam or malicious payload. This selective targeting allowsphishing campaigns and fraudulent sites to stay live longer and avoid detection.Cybercriminals are increasingly adopting advanced cloaking tools to evade detection, which is making it harder for people to spot malicious websites. Still, there are steps you can take to reduce your risk:1. Stick to trusted sources: Avoid clicking on links from unknown senders or sketchy websites, even if they appear in ads or social media posts. Type URLs directly when possible.2. Use strong antivirus software: A strong antivirus software can help analyze suspicious links and sites before you open them.Get my picks for the best 2025 antivirus protection winners for your Windows, Mac, Android & iOS devices atCyberGuy.com/LockUpYourTech3. Use security-focused browsers: Built-in protections in browsers like Firefox and Brave can help block suspicious scripts and trackers.4. Keep your software updated: Regular updates to your browser, operating system, and antivirus software ensure you have the latest security patches.5. Be cautious with login pages: If a site asks for your credentials unexpectedly, verify the URL and domain name carefully. Cloaked phishing pages can look nearly identical to the real thing.6. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA): Even if your credentials are stolen,2FA can act as a final line of defense against account takeover by requiring a pin which is generated through an authenticator app or is sent to your phone or email.AI-powered cloaking is making it increasingly difficult to track and take down malicious sites. The result is a fast-growing market for what is essentially cloaking-as-a-service. These tools are inexpensive, easy to use, and designed to work at scale. For cybercriminals, cloaking is no longer a fringe tactic but a core part of their toolkit. While you may still be unaware of these tools, they are already reshaping how digital fraud operates behind the scenes.Do you think browsers and search engines are doing enough to protect you from advanced scams like these? Twins closer fuels trade rumors after hugging bullpen catcher mid-game
The Minnesota Twins will likely be sellers at Thursday's MLB Trade Deadline, and perhaps they gave their fans a preview of what that could look like.In the days leading up to the deadline, players get moved at odd times - Seranthony Dominguez quite literally moved clubhouses in between a doubleheader on Tuesday. With the Twins at 51-56 and 5.5 games out of the final wild card spot, it's hard to imagine that they won't look a lot different in about 48 hours, and closer Jhoan Duran is all but a guarantee to be moved.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMWell, a camera caught Duran hugging Twins' bullpen catcher Frank Nigro during a game Tuesday, prompting just about everyone to think a trade had gone down.Reports quickly nixed such a notion, but it was either quite the troll or ironic timing."He hugged Frank like he always does," a team source told The Athletic. It is, though, rather likely that one of those hugs will be because of a trade - Duran is pitching to a minuscule 2.01 ERA in 49 outings.GIANTS' HELIOT RAMOS SUFFERS MIND-BOGGLING BASERUNNING MISTAKE IN LOSS TO PIRATES: 'MENTAL ERROR'Duran, 27, has two more seasons of control after this one, so the Twins could certainly get a haul. Trump says his Aug 1 tariff deadline 'will not be extended' here are the countries that might not make it
President Donald Trump warned that his August 1 deadline for making a trade deal with the U.S. "stands strong" on Wednesday, threatening several key nations with a big tariff hike."The August first deadline is the August first deadline it stands strong, and will not be extended. A big day for America!" Trump wrote on Truth Social, using all-caps.Here are the major countries that still need to negotiate deals with the U.S.Trump sent a letter to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney threatening a 35% tariff if a deal isn't struck, but negotiations appear to have stalled.TREASURY SECRETARY BESSENT DETAILS TRUMP ADMINISTRATION'S PLAN TO TACKLE CHINA'S ECONOMIC IMBALANCES"We havent really had a lot of luck with Canada. I think Canada could be one where theyll just pay tariffs. Its not really a negotiation," Trump said of the negotiations with our neighbor to the north on Friday.Carney himself said on Monday that negotiations have reached an "intense phase.""Its a complex negotiation. You see with the various trade deals that have been agreed to by other jurisdictions the European Union yesterday, Japan before that, Indonesia, United Kingdom that there are many elements to these negotiations. Were engaged in them. But the assurance for Canadian businesses, for Canadians, is we will only sign a deal thats a good deal, the right deal for Canada," he told reporters Monday.TRUMP HEADS TO SCOTLAND TO TALK GOLF, POLITICS AND TRADEAccording to the US Trade Representative (USTR), Canada is America's third-largest importer, totaling $412.7 billion in 2024. The U.S. exported $349.4 billion to Canada in the same year.Trump sent a similar letter to Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum earlier this month, this one threatening a 30% tariff. No deal has been struck as of Wednesday, however, and neither party has been vocal about where negotiations stand.Mexico is America's top source of imports, totaling $506 billion in 2024, according to the USTR. Meanwhile, the U.S. exported $334 billion to the country over the same year.Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent negotiated with Chinese officials in Sweden this week and said Tuesday that the talks were "very constructive."He emphasized to reporters that no final agreement was made, however. Unlike most countries, China is facing an August 12 deadline rather than August 1, giving them somewhat more breathing room for negotiations."Nothing is agreed until we speak with President Trump," Bessent told reporters.Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told Fox News on Monday that the deadline for China could be extended even further than August 12, though that decision will be up to Trump.Trump warned South Korean President Lee Jae Myung in a July 7 letter that the country would face a 25% blanket tariff if a deal isn't reached by August 1.US IS IN A SUPER PLACE, SAYS COMMERCE SECRETARY ON CHINA TRADE TALKSLee's office said late last week that it was preparing a proposal. Lutnick met with three top Korean officials in Washington this week, though no news has come out of the meeting.Taiwan has yet to reach a trade deal with the Trump administration, but Taipei has a delegation in Washington hoping to reach one before August 1, Reuters reported Wednesday. The self-governed island is facing a 32% tariff if it does not secure a deal."All the relevant talks are still ongoing," one source familiar with the talks told Reuters, with another saying negotiators were still in the U.S."We hope these negotiations will accomplish four objectives: safeguarding national interests, protecting industrial interests, ensuring public health, and securing food safety. These objectives serve dual purposes: promoting balanced bilateral trade between Taiwan and the U.S., and enhancing cooperation in diverse areas like technology and national security," Taiwan's cabinet said in a statement.Trump appears to have slammed the door shut early on India, announcing on Truth Social that the country will face a 25% tariff across the board beginning August 1."Remember, while India is our friend, we have, over the years, done relatively little business with them because their tariffs are far too high, among the highest in the world, and they have the most strenuous and obnoxious non-monetary trade barriers of any country. Also, they have always bought a vast majority of their military equipment from Russia, and are Russias largest buyer of energy, along with China, at a time when everyone wants Russia to stop the killing in Ukraine all things not good!" Trump wrote.'GONE TOO FAR': GOP LAWMAKERS RALLY AROUND TRUMP AFTER MUSK RAISES EPSTEIN ALLEGATIONS"India will therefore be paying a tariff of 25%, plus a penalty for the above, starting on August first. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAGA!" he added.Trump threatened a massive 50% blanket tariff on Brazilian goods in a letter to Brazilian President Luiz Incio Lula da Silva earlier in July.Trump credited the higher rate to Brazil's prosecution of former President Jair Bolsonaro, who many compared to Trump himself. The U.S. president said Bolsonaro was the victim of a "witch hunt."CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPLula's regime has requested that the U.S. exempt certain industries from the tariffs, but a deal before August 1 appears unlikely.

Washington Post editorial slams Obama judge for blocking 'fair and square' GOP defunding of Planned Parenthood
The Washington Post editorial board slammed Obama-appointed U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani's decision to block an "act of Congress" by issuing a preliminary injunction to revoke Congress's decision to divert Medicaid funds away from abortion providers like Planned Parenthood. The Post editorial argued on Tuesday that, while some of the Trump administrations attempts to strip federal funding from disfavored programs rightly face scrutiny for bypassing Congress, the Republican effort to cut Medicaid funding for abortion care was passed "fair and square" through the legislative process."Allocating public money is Congresss core competency. Yet U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani not only countermanded Congresss spending choice in a preliminary injunction, she also refused to stay her ruling pending appeal," the editorial board explained, adding, "This is the kind of lower court activism that gives the Trump administration fodder for its attacks on judges."FEDERAL JUDGE BLOCKS TRUMP ADMINISTRATION FROM DEFUNDING SOME PLANNED PARENTHOOD FACILITIESThe tax and spending bill that was signed into law on July 4 contains a provision which states that, as of October 1, certain tax-exempt organizations that perform abortions can no longer receive reimbursements from Medicaid. Planned Parenthood promptly sued the federal government after the bill became law, as they stood to lose a sizable chunk of their federal funding.Talwani agreed with Planned Parenthood and ruled that the provision is an unconstitutional "bill of attainder," which imposes legislative punishment on a specific group without judicial trial, and noted that the concept includes other forms of "legislative punishment.""Many Republican members of Congress who voted for this reconciliation bill no doubt dislike abortion and want to defund Planned Parenthood because it is the countrys leading abortion provider. That doesnt make the Medicaid restrictions illegitimate," The Post argued. "The budget process is inherently political, and Congresss tax-and-spending decisions almost always help some groups and hurt others."CLICK HERE FOR MORE COVERAGE OF MEDIA AND CULTUREAccording to the Post, Talwani "strained" to label Congress's exercise of its spending discretion unconstitutional, noting that she claimed the Medicaid provision "requires Planned Parenthood Members to stop providing elective abortions," and it would prevent them "from engaging in a core part of their operation.""But Congress has no obligation to subsidize any groups operation," the outlet rebutted. "If forward-looking budgetary measures can be scrutinized as bills of attainder, Congresss fiscal function will be incapacitated."The Post contended that Talwani's decision is likely to be reversed on appeal, but her decision "is a reminder that the judiciary, as well as the executive, can overreach at Congresss expense and damage the separation of powers."In closing, the editorial board made the case that, regardless of whether one personally agrees with the policy, Congress' decision to divert Medicaid funding away from abortion services went through the proper constitutional process and deserves more "judicial deference" than an executive order."By curbing funding for abortion providers, social conservatives have advanced one of their longtime legislative priorities, fair and square. To protect that funding in the future, liberals will need to make the case to voters in 2026 and 2028," The Post concluded. "Judicial fiat cannot substitute for democratic legitimacy."

Patel found thousands of sensitive TrumpRussia probe docs inside 'burn bags' in secret room at FBI
EXCLUSIVE: FBI Director Kash Patel found a trove of sensitive documents related to the origins of the TrumpRussia probe buried in multiple "burn bags" in a secret room inside the bureau, sources told Fox News Digital.Sources told Fox News Digital that the "burn bag" system is used to destroy documents designated as classified or higher.Sources told Fox News Digital that multiple burn bags were found and filled with thousands of documents.FBI'S CONTROVERSIAL TRUMP-RUSSIA ACTIONS PREDICTED WITH 'ALARMING SPECIFICITY' BY FOREIGN ACTORS: SOURCESSources told Fox News Digital that one of the documents FBI officials found in a burn bag was the classified annex to former special counsel John Durham's final report, which includes the underlying intelligence he reviewed. The declassification of the classified annex is being done in close coordination between CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Patel, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Attorney General Pam Bondi and acting National Security Agency Director William Hartman. The declassified annex will be transmitted to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, who ultimately will release the document to the public.Sources exclusively briefed Fox News Digital on some of the contents of the classified annex including that the U.S. intelligence community had credible foreign sources indicating that the FBI would play a role in spreading the alleged TrumpRussia collusion narrative before the bureau ever launched its controversialCrossfire Hurricaneprobe.A source familiar with the contents of the classified annex told Fox News Digital that while it may not have been exactly clear in the moment what the intelligence collection meant, with the benefit of hindsight, it predicted the FBIs next move "with alarming specificity.""Ultimately, the release of the classified annex will lend more credibility to the assertion that there was a coordinated plan inside the U.S. government to help the Clinton campaign stir up controversy connecting Trump to Russia," the source, who was granted anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence matters that have not yet been made public, told Fox News Digital."Mere days after this intelligence was collected, the FBI launched Crossfire Hurricane," the source said. "Its really hard to see howBrennan, Clapper and Comeyare going to be able to explain this away."Sources told Fox News Digital that Patel and his team discovered a previously undisclosed sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) in the FBI headquarters.Fox News Digital reached out to previous FBI Directors Christopher Wray and James Comey for comment and has not yet received any responses.Patel, in a June interview with podcast host Joe Rogan, revealed that he found a room full of documents and computer hard drives "that no one had ever seen or heard of.""Just think about this," Patel told Rogan. "Me, as director of the FBI, the former 'Russiagate guy,' when I first got to the bureau, found a room that Comey and others hid from the world in the Hoover Building, full of documents and computer hard drives that no one had ever seen or heard of. Locked the key and hid access and just said, 'No one's ever gonna find this place.'"Patel and his staff have been working through the documents, some of which are related to sensitive investigations, including the FBIs original TrumpRussia probe, known inside the bureau as Crossfire Hurricane. It is unclear what the latest documents cover specifically, but sources told Fox News Digital that the most recent discovery was pursuant to an investigative request from Grassley.Patel has turned the documents over to Grassley.EXCLUSIVE: BRENNAN DIRECTED PUBLICATION OF 'IMPLAUSIBLE' REPORTS CLAIMING PUTIN PREFERRED TRUMP IN 2016, HOUSE FOUNDGrassley has been requesting information related to Durhams probe. Durham was appointed after then-special counsel Robert Mueller completed his yearslong investigation into the origins of the TrumpRussia probe including intelligence community malfeasance during and in the aftermath of the 2016 election.Sources told Fox News Digital that Grassleys team is now reviewing the underlying informationas part of its investigative work.As for the other records, Patels staff is working to turn them over to Congress pursuant to investigative requests by committees of jurisdiction.EXCLUSIVE: FBI LAUNCHES CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS OF JOHN BRENNAN, JAMES COMEY: DOJ SOURCESPatel has been instrumental in unraveling the alleged Russia collusion narrative. He previously served as the chief investigator in the congressional probe into alleged TrumpRussia collusion uncovering suspected government surveillance abuse that led to the appointment of two special counsels: one who determined there was no such collusion, Mueller, and another who determined the entire premise of the FBIs original investigation was bogus, Durham.Patel served as senior counsel and a national security adviser on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) for then-Chair Rep. Devin Nunes. While Mueller investigated, the HPSCI opened its own investigation into alleged TrumpRussia collusion. In July 2016, during the election cycle, the FBI launched an investigation into whether the Trump campaign was colluding with Russia to influence the outcome of the election. That investigation, inside the bureau, was known as Crossfire Hurricane.By January 2017, Comey had notified Trump of a dossier, known as the Steele dossier, that contained salacious and unverified allegations about Trumps purported coordination with the Russian government, a key document prompting the opening of the probe.EXCLUSIVE: OBAMA OFFICIALS ADMITTED THEY HAD NO 'EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE' OF TRUMP-RUSSIA COLLUSION: HOUSE INTEL TRANSCRIPTSThe dossier was authored by Christopher Steele, an ex-British intelligence officer, and commissioned by Fusion GPS. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign hired Fusion GPS during the 2016 election cycle. It was eventually determined that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee funded the dossier through the law firm Perkins Coie.Trump fired Comey in May 2017. Days later, Mueller was appointed as special counsel to take over the Crossfire Hurricane probe and investigate whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election cycle. While Mueller investigated, the HPSCI opened its own investigation into alleged TrumpRussia collusion.Patel, as chief investigator for Nunes, by February 2018 had discovered widespread government surveillance abuse, including alleged improper surveillance of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page."While most members of Congress were ready to ignore the unprecedented civil rights abuses against the Trump campaign and myself, Kash Patels training as a top public defender made him the perfect advocate for exposing one of the greatest election interference scandals of all time," Page told Fox News Digital.Patel was an integral part of the creation of a memo released by then-Chair Nunes in February 2018, which detailed the DOJ's and FBIs surveillance of Page under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.Nunes and Patel revealed that the infamous anti-Trump dossier funded by Democrats "formed an essential part" of the application to spy on Page. The memo referred to closed-door testimony from former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who said that "no surveillance warrant would have been sought" from the FISA court "without the Steele dossier information."However, when applying for the FISA warrant, the FBI omitted the origins of the dossier, specifically its funding from Clinton, who was Trumps 2016 presidential opponent.FBI DIRECTOR KASH PATEL 'INSTRUMENTAL IN UNRAVELING' RUSSIA COLLUSION HOAX, FORMER CHAIR SAYSThe memo also said Steele, who worked as an FBI informant, was eventually cut off from the bureau for what the FBI described as the most serious of violations, "an unauthorized disclosure to the media of his relationship with the FBI."The memo noted that the FBI and DOJ obtained "one initial FISA warrant" targeting Page and three FISA renewals from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. The statute required that every 90 days a FISA order on an American citizen "must be reviewed."The memo revealed that Comey signed three FISA applications for Page, while McCabe, former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and former Acting Deputy Attorney General Dana Boente signed at least one.The memo was widely criticized by Democrats but was ultimately correct.EXCLUSIVE: OBAMA ADMIN 'MANUFACTURED' INTELLIGENCE TO CREATE 2016 RUSSIAN ELECTION INTERFERENCE NARRATIVE, DOCUMENTS SHOW"Kash was instrumental in unraveling the Russia collusion hoax and finding evidence of government malfeasance despite constant attempts by the FBI and DOJ to stonewall our investigation," Nunes, who now chiefs Trump's Truth Social site, told Fox News Digital earlier in 2025.The Justice Department inspector general, Michael Horowitz, reviewed the memo and confirmed the dossier served as the basis for the controversial FISA warrants obtained against Page."The feds spied on Kash during the probe and ran information warfare against him, but Kash helped expose them anyway," Nunes told Fox News Digital.Nunes was referring to the Justice Department in November 2017 using grand jury subpoenas to secretly obtain the personal email and phone data for Patel and another Nunes staffer on the HPSCI as they were investigating FBI abuse and the Russia probe.Meanwhile, Patel, now serving as FBI director, has opened a criminal investigation into then-CIA Director John Brennan, after receiving a criminal referral from Ratcliffe; and has opened a criminal investigation into Comey. As for Grassleys team, he is expected to release a declassified version of the annex to Durhams final report, which includes the underlying intelligence he reviewed. The intelligence has previously been classified.DECLASSIFIED TRUMP-RUSSIA PROBE DOCUMENTS: WHAT TO KNOW

DAVID MARCUS: Democrats, media betray Israel, but look who stands firm
When Hamas launched its barbaric attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, the real goal was not to kill Jews, it was to start a major conflict in which thousands of Palestinians in Gaza would be killed as human shields, which history has taught these terrorists would turn the West against the Jewish state. If not for the fortitude of President Donald Trump, his GOP allies, and a handful of stalwart Democrats, this plan would have worked already. But now, just as Israel looks to finish Hamas, the useful idiots are making one last anti-Israel push.TAKE IT FROM THIS MUSLIM: PEACE DEPENDS ON TOTAL DEFEAT OF THE ISLAMIST DEATH CULTOn the Pod Save America podcast, which we are given to understand represents the mainstream Democrat Party, the hosts this week called to cut off military aid to Israel, sanction Israeli leaders, and finally said, "When the war ends, we are not going back to the pre-October 7 status quo."Hamas couldn't move literal pawns around an actual chessboard with such ease. And why do we see this growing betrayal of our greatest ally in the region? It is because Israel is allegedly starving Gazans, as depicted by the front page of The New York Times, which showed an image of a child supposedly showing the effects of malnutrition. The problem is that The New York Times was lied to, the child in question suffered from a pre-existing condition, and his healthy brother was cropped from the picture. The Grey Lady has now issued a sort-of correction, but lets be honest, the damage was done.Meanwhile, in Europe, both France and the United Kingdom are now threatening to recognize a Palestinian state, which one imagines means recognizing Hamas as its rightful government, which is exactly what the terrorists hoped their barbarism would achieve. Its amazing: Europe is like Hamas bullpen. Whenever Israel starts winning, they get some country up throwing. In the face of so much fecklessness from the West on Israel, Trump and his Republican Party continue to stand like a lighthouse of liberty and freedom in a dark storm of moral relativism. On Tuesday, Trump addressed the possibility of a Palestinian state and quite sensibly said, "You could make the case that youre rewarding people, that youre rewarding Hamas if you do that. I dont think they should be rewarded. Im not in that camp, to be honest."Trumps point here is obviously true. If the result of massacring Jews is that Palestinians get a state, then clearly Oct. 7 was a success and will be repeated over and over regardless of how many innocents die. When Palestinian mothers hold up their babies and pray one day they will be martyrs, that isnt a PR stunt, they mean it. The more that this evil is coddled by cowards in the West, the longer death and destruction will reign. This sudden moral panic over Israel also comes at a time when Trump has the region as close to possible peace as it has ever been. The Abraham Accords have eased regional tensions outside of Gaza, the attack on Iran has weakened the Middle East's greatest threat to peace, more and more countries are open to recognizing Israel. Yet western liberals seem hellbent on fomenting anger in the Arab street. It seems that every time Trumps negotiators, such as Howard Lutnick, get close to a deal in Gaza, the west's useful idiots start throwing Hamas rhetorical lifelines that only serve to prolong the bloody conflict. There is no question that horrible suffering is happening in Gaza. Trump has not only acknowledged this, but worked, within reason, to urge Israel to allow more supplies in. But without the release of the hostages and surrender of Hamas, Israel cannot stand down.CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINIONIt is frankly baffling that so many on the left in the West want to prolong the status quo in the Middle East, to make sure both sides have just enough support that the fighting never ends, and yet, what other result can this appeasement have?Trump understands something I learned talking to people in Israel last year: They are not going to end this war and just wait to be attacked again. Those days are over, they are not coming back. With the support, and even sometimes guidance, of Trump, Israel will finish this fight, and when it does, it will be Trumps vision of a new Middle East that triumphs, not the Lefts perverse desire to keep the conflict going forever. For that, we should all be thankful.CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM DAVID MARCUS

Epstein, Maxwell grand juries relied on two law enforcement witnesses, DOJ filing reveals
An overnight filing by the Department of Justice revealed the grand juries in both Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwells cases had heard from two law enforcement witnesses, as officials are asking for the release of transcripts stemming from both sex trafficking indictments. In a Tuesday filing in Manhattan federal court, officials disclosed the Epstein grand jury heard testimony from an FBI agent when it met in June and July 2019. The same FBI agent, along with a New York Police Department detective, also testified in front of the Maxwell grand jury in June and July 2020, and again in March 2021, according to court documents."Here, there was one witnessan FBI agentduring the Epstein grand jury proceedings," the filing said. "There were two witnessesthe same FBI agent from the Epstein grand jury proceedings and a detective with the NYPD who was a Task Force Officer with the FBIs Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Forceduring the Maxwell grand jury proceedings."GHISLAINE MAXWELL ASKS SUPREME COURT TO OVERTURN CONVICTION CITING EPSTEIN IMMUNITY DEALThe filing was submitted after federal judges presiding over both cases asked the DOJ to provide additional details surrounding the cases. The DOJ previously requested to unseal grand jury transcripts of proceedings, resulting in the judges asking for additional information.Courts rarely release grand jury transcripts, unless officials find they are imperative to a judicial proceeding. However, the filing cites a 1997 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling that determined judges can exercise discretion when deciding to unseal transcripts, and public interest can justify their release.According to the filing, the factors determining the release of transcripts "are designed to assist the Court in exercising its careful judgment in balancing the interests in public disclosure in unique circumstances of strongly expressed and wide-ranging public interest and the traditional considerations concerning the secrecy of grand jury proceedings."JEFFREY EPSTEIN ACCOMPLICE GHISLAINE MAXWELL TO SEE HOW FEDS MEETING PLAYS OUT AMID SUBPOENA: BROTHER"There is undoubtedly a clearly expressed interest from the public in Jeffrey Epsteins and Ghislaine Maxwells crimes," the filing said. "Beyond that, there is abundant public interest in the investigative work conducted by the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation into those crimes."The request to unseal the transcripts came after the DOJ previously announced it would not be releasing any additional files relating to Epsteins sex trafficking case, with the filing asserting it is "consistent with increasing calls for additional disclosures in this matter."Tuesdays filing evidently aimed to tamp down expectations surrounding any new revelations within the transcripts by asserting "certain aspects and subject matters" were previously made public during Maxwells trial.FEDERAL JUDGE RULES ON TRUMP'S REQUEST TO UNSEAL EPSTEIN GRAND JURY TRANSCRIPTSAdditionally, two former Manhattan prosecutors also asserted the transcripts would only contain testimony from the members of law enforcement that corroborates details in both indictments, according to The Associated Press. In 2008, Epstein signed a non-prosecution agreement in exchange for pleading guilty in Florida to state charges of soliciting and procuring a minor for prostitution. Nearly a decade later, he was charged with similar charges by federal prosecutors in Manhattan.Maxwell, his longtime girlfriend and convicted accomplice, is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence at a federal facility in Tallahassee after she was found guilty of luring underage girls for Epsteins sexual abuse schemes in 2021. Last week, she spent nearly two days answering questions "about 100 different people" while meeting with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche about Epsteins crimes, according to her attorney. The meetings came after Maxwell was slapped with a subpoena to testify before the House Oversight Committee regarding Epstein. However, in a letter to Chairman James Comer, her attorney laid out several conditions hinging on her agreement to speak including asking for immunity, which was swiftly rejected by the panel.Maxwell is currently in the early stages of appealing her conviction to the U.S. Supreme Court, citing that she should have been included in Epstein's non-prosecution agreement. The DOJ and Maxwells attorney did not immediately respond to Fox News Digitals request for comment. The Associated Press contributed to this report.
