Oklahoma livestock farmer killed by water buffaloes he purchased just one day before fatal attack

Hawley urges DHS Secretary Noem to declassify all Trump Butler rally assassination attempt documents
Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., is urging Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem to declassify all documents related to the assassination attempt on then-presidential candidate Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, 2024.Hawleys request comes a year after 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks fired off several shots at Trump from a rooftop near the presidential rally grounds. The gunman had a clear shot and grazed the presidents ear.Even after a year, though, questions still remain about how Crooks was able to get a clear shot.In his letter to Noem, Hawley mentions the one-year anniversary of the first assassination attempt on Trump.RAND PAUL SAYS WE 'AREN'T GOING TO KNOW' THE MOTIVE OF TRUMP'S WOULD-BE ASSASSIN"This occasion marks a deeply troubling chapter in our nations history and serves as a reminder of the importance of transparency in preserving public trust during moments of national crisis," he wrote. California tax expert admits role in illegal alien's multimillion-dollar fraud scheme
A California tax preparer pleaded guilty Monday to helping an illegal immigrant file fraudulent federal income tax returns that claimed $25 million in refunds, the Justice Department said.Victor Cruz, 40, of Bakersfield, helped Miguel Martinez, a Mexican national who was in the United States illegally, carry out the scheme from November 2019 through June 2023, prosecutors said.FEDS BUST ARMENIAN FRAUD RING ACCUSED OF STEALING $30M IN COVID, SMALL BUSINESS LOANSMartinez allegedly used stolen identities to create fake businesses and report phony wage and withholding information for the businesses to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Cruz is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 17, 2025.He faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
