WWW.FOXNEWS.COMNPR head asks critics to 'show me a story' that proves liberal bias amid defunding threatsNPR CEO Katherine Maher challenged critics to show her a story that would prove the radio network is biased on Wednesday.Maher defended her organization on CNN's "The Situation Room" as it faces efforts by President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans to remove its federal funding. Though Trump and other conservative critics have accused NPR of being politically biased towards Democrats, Maher insisted that they "serve all Americans" and seemed to deny any bias."It doesnt help anyone to take this funding away," Maher said. "As far as the accusations that were biased, I would stand up and say, Please show me a story that concerns you, because we want to know and we want to bring that conversation back to our newsroom."NPR HEARING PUTS SPOTLIGHT ON FUNDING DEBATE AND PAST COVERAGE, FROM HUNTER BIDEN'S LAPTOP TO COVID ORIGINSShe added, "We believe that, as a public broadcaster, we do have an obligation to serve all Americans, and we need to make sure that our coverage reflects the interests and perspective. And we hear from Americans across the political spectrum. Thats important to us, and we want to make sure we live up to that."Maher's comments received backlash from right-leaning social media users who were quick to provide examples."'We're here to serve all Americans' is a humongous lie. NPR is here to serve Democrats and Antifa and people who think the Communist Manifesto is a stirring book," Newsbusters executive editor Tim Graham wrote."Here you go @krmaher! These are just a few!" Libs of TikTok wrote with a photo of several NPR headlines.Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., posted a thread featuring videos of himself on the Senate floor providing examples of NPR's political bias."NPR reported that country music and birds are racist, told American people to stop eating beef, and promoted the Russia-gate conspiracy. No person with a brain above a single-celled organism would call these articles fair and balanced," one tweet said.Another read, "NPR claimed President Bidens presidential debate performance didnt change the election, days before he dropped out of the race. If you believe that headline, you believe in the tooth fairy. But thats what NPR reported with your tax dollars.""NPR reported that there is no evidence that biological men have an unfair advantage over biological women in sports. NPR also called Americas interstate highways racist. I did not know our highways were racist. I thought they were concrete, but not according to NPR."He concluded, "NPR referred to rural Americans as Christian nationalists and heaped praise on Biden administration official Rachel Levine. I could go all day. American taxpayers shouldnt have to fund this opinion journalism."Newsbusters managing editor Curtis Houck told Fox News Digital her comments "despicable and rancorous" and a "pants-on-fire lie," pointing to several examples of NPRs political bias, including their failure to cover the Hunter Biden laptop scandal."Maher can lock herself in an ideological bubble all she wants, but what shes not entitled to are the facts and poisoning the body politic with actual disinformation," Houck said.Maher had admitted that ignoring the Hunter Biden laptop story was a "mistake," but one that happened before she was appointed CEO in 2024.NPR CEO RIPS TRUMP ORDER TO DEFUND AS RETALIATION, INSISTS MEDIA OUTLET IS 'NON-PARTISAN'Shortly after she was named NPR CEO, however, NPR senior business editor Uri Berliner wrote a scathing rebuke of his publication and revealed that in the newsroom there were 87 registered Democrats in NPR editorial positions and "zero Republicans."CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APPMaher also came under fire after her old social media posts emerged featuring her openly supporting former President Joe Biden and attacking Trump leading up to the 2020 election. She also repeated several left-leaning talking points, such as saying that property damage was "not the thing" Americans should be upset over during the George Floyd riots.0 التعليقات 0 المشاركات 1 مشاهدة 0 معاينة

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMJosh Allen determined not to let 'Hard Knocks' cameras become distraction for Bills in training campDuring the NFL annual league meeting in April, the league changed its rule that allowed teams making the playoffs to avoid HBOs "Hard Knocks."Enter the Buffalo Bills, who will be the featured team during "Hard Knocks: Training Camp" in just a couple of weeks as teams get prepared to head to their respective facilities to gear up for the new year. Its the first time since the show debuted in 2001 that the Bills will be featured, and quarterback Josh Allen, the reigning MVP after a tremendous 2024 campaign, knows its going to be a different feeling with cameras all around when he gets back to Buffalo.CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMWhile speaking with Fox News Digital on behalf of Natrol, the drug-free sleep-aid brand he partnered with, Allen explained how he understands the excitement around watching the Bills get ready for a season. However, there is one main priority that must be above all else in terms of HBO and NFL Films cameras being around."First and foremost, cannot let it become a distraction," Allen said. "Got to keep the main thing, the main thing, and thats trying to be the best we can be on the field. Making sure were doing everything right, and not letting the cameras distract us. I think thats going to be a sign of a good team."BILLS ROOKIE MAXWELL HAIRSTON FACES SEXUAL ASSAULT ACCUSATION, LAWSUIT BEFORE FIRST NFL TRAINING CAMP: REPORTBut Allen also understands that "Hard Knocks" provides fans with a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most grueling sports in the world, allowing players to be humanized more, while letting their personalities shine throughout training camp battles. Now that its a perennial playoff team that was just a few plays away from a potential Super Bowl last season, the hype and attention is even greater."For the longest time, Hard Knocks was usually reserved for, I wouldnt say bad teams, but teams that didnt make the playoffs the year before," Allen said. "I know they lifted that rule, and were kind of the first team thats coming from the playoffs to be on it, in terms of the training camp portion of it. So, yeah, its going to be a little different, but we got a lot of veteran leadership in the locker room and a lot of young guys who were going to have to take on our shoulders and be like, Hey, this is how were doing it."Again, you want to be a star and the face of this and that and the other? Let your play take care of it. Still be yourself and let your personality out. I think Coach [Sean] McDermott has been doing a great job ever since I was rookie of making sure, whoever you are, be that person all the time, right? Being as authentic as possible is one of the greatest qualities that you can have, and this is no different."Since 2019, the Bills have made the playoffs every season, yet they have not made it past the rest of their AFC foes to reach the Super Bowl despite having a talented team, especially with Allen at the helm. But with the goal remaining the same, fans will get an inside look at how McDermott, Allen and the rest of the team prepare for what is always a long journey ahead, with the final goal always being to hoist the Lombardi Trophy, which would be a first for a Buffalo squad."Youre going to see a lot of cool stories and cool personalities on our team," Allen said.BETTER SLEEP, BETTER PLAY WITH NATROLThose vivid dreams Allen has can be credited to Natrol, which he believes can give him an edge this season."I only try to partner with brands that I fully believe in, and I think this next part of the process of my journey is unlocking that piece of my game and my life really. I do believe Natrol can help me do that," he said.Allen explained how melatonin products in previous years didnt affect his body the way he had hoped, but during a trip home from Italy last offseason, he slept 10 hours after taking Natrol, and he said he was "all in" after that.As a quarterback, being sharp and alert is a requirement all season long, no matter if its the film room, on the practice field, or in a game. Getting a good nights rest is crucial, so whether Allen wants a melatonin product to adjust to the east coast time difference from his usual west coast stay, or a melatonin-free "Sleep & Restore" product, Natrol has everything he needs."I do fully believe that I havent been a great sleeper my mind is racing. But every great performance starts with a great nights sleep, and every great nights sleep starts with Natrol. Its a great tagline we like to say, but I truly believe this can unlock another part of my game, and I can still continue to get better," he said.Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X, and subscribe tothe Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.0 التعليقات 0 المشاركات 1 مشاهدة 0 معاينة

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMRandy Moss says Tyreek Hill is 'nowhere all-time' in NFL wide receiver rankings discussionTyreek Hill may be one of the best wide receivers in the NFL right now, but Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss doesnt want to hear his name being mentioned among the all-time greats.Moss took a shot at the Miami Dolphins speedster while talking with the South Florida Sun Sentinel last week, when he said Hill doesnt deserve to be in the conversation as one of the greatest receivers to play the game."Hes nowhere all-time," Moss told the outlet. "Where is he at in todays game? Tyreek Hill is probably top five. I put him top five."CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COMWhile Moss hit Hill with the jab, he has no doubt in his mind where he stands in terms of the greatest to ever play the position.Moss is second all-time in receiving touchdowns (156), fourth in receiving yards (15,292), and 17th in receptions (982). Some make the argument that Moss was the greatest receiver to ever play the game.ESPN PROVIDES ENCOURAGING HEALTH UPDATE FOR RANDY MOSS FOLLOWING FORMER NFL STAR'S CANCER DIAGNOSIS: REPORT"Is that a real question?" he said when asked by the outlet where he thinks he ranks among the best ever. "Are you being political or are you being real?"Because if were talking political, well say Jerry Rice. If were talking real football, where I knock youre a-- out, its me."Meanwhile, Hill has been one of the best receivers in the NFL for a few years now, beginning with his tenure on the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a Pro Bowler his rookie year in 2016, and that streak continued up until last season, when he didnt make it.Hill had four straight seasons with at least 1,200 receiving yards before a down year in his standards in 2024. He totaled 959 yards with six touchdowns on 81 receptions during a roller coaster 2024 campaign for the Dolphins. However, Hill led the league in receiving yards (1,799) the year prior, as well as receiving touchdowns (13).Hills ability to use his speed and quick route-running to create separation has allowed his quarterbacks, Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and Dolphins leader Tua Tagovailoa, to create big plays with him on the gridiron. However, Hill has some stats to get to be considered one of the greatest receivers ever from that perspective. He is currently 42nd in receiving yards (11,098), 30th in receiving touchdowns (82), and 42nd in receptions.Follow Fox News Digitalssports coverage on X, and subscribe tothe Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.0 التعليقات 0 المشاركات 1 مشاهدة 0 معاينة

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMSCOOP: Former CIA officer, Air Force veteran launches GOP campaign for Dem-held Ohio districtFirst on Fox: Eric Conroy, a U.S. Air Force veteran and former CIA case officer, announced his campaign to represent Ohio's 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday.Speaking with Fox News Digital ahead of his announcement, the Cincinnati native said southwest Ohio deserves a "common-sense advocate" in Washington, D.C., who can help the city reach its full potential.Conroy criticized incumbent Democratic Rep. Greg Landsman as "anything but" that common-sense decision maker for Ohioans, tying Landsman's policy record to President Joe Biden's progressive agenda."This is decision-making more along the lines of an AOC or a Nancy Pelosi and not someone from Southwest Ohio," Conroy said of the second-term Democrat.AIR FORCE VETERAN JUMPS INTO KEY HOUSE RACE TO UNSEAT 22-TERM VULNERABLE DEM: 'TIME TO PASS THE TORCH'Ohio, once a reliable swing state, has shifted to the right over the past few election cycles. Republican Sen. Bernie Moreno, a businessman and political outsider, defeated longtime incumbent Democrat Sen. Sherrod Brown in 2024, securing a Republican majority in the U.S. Senate.REPUBLICANS TARGET VULNERABLE SENATE DEMOCRAT OVER LOS ANGELES RIOTINGOn the campaign trail, Moreno also tied his Democrat opponent's voting record to Biden's, capitalizing on Ohio's conservative shift.Conroy blamed the Democratic Party's "lack of initiative, lack of foundation, and lack of any real ideas" for Ohio's red wave."Greg Landsman has been a part of that problem and a part of that party that has really failed to address any day-to-day issues that people are encountering. Instead, they are focused on promoting a far-left agenda, which does not put money back in their pockets or help them solve day-today issues," he explained.Landsman was elected to represent Ohio's 1st District in 2022, unseating former GOP Rep. Steve Chabot. The Democrat won his re-election campaign last year against Republican challenger Orlando Sonza, an Army veteran and former Hamilton County prosecutor.Conroy said he would bring a multi-faceted approach to representing Cincinnati in Washington, D.C., given his experience growing up locally, nationally in the U.S. Air Force, and internationally at the CIAs Directorate of Operations, leading intelligence missions around the world."Im running for Congress because Ive seen the threats we face abroad and the struggles families face here at home. Its time for new leadership that will stand up to the extremes, restore common sense, and fight to make sure the American Dream stays within reach for every Ohioan," Conroy said.Core among Conroy's campaign promises are a commitment to building the economy, supporting law enforcement and securing the border. The Republican has also vowed to protect Social Security and Medicare, a hot-button issue heading into the 2026 midterm elections as Democrats seize on Republicans' Medicaid reform included in President Donald Trump's "big, beautiful bill."0 التعليقات 0 المشاركات 1 مشاهدة 0 معاينة

WWW.FOXNEWS.COMDangerous or an opportunity? Social media as venue for discussing politics debated by young conservativesYoung conservatives at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit gave mixed opinions last week when asked about social media and whether it was a safe place to air their views, with some calling it dangerous and, others, an opportunity. The young AmericansFox News Digital spoke to sounded off on the complexity of social media and its involvement in the political opinion of up-and-coming voters for generations to come."The First Amendment allows us the freedom of speech," Jacob, a summit attendee from New York, said. "If you do it the correct way, especially on social media, I don't believe that social media can be a dangerous or a bad place for talking about politics."Ryan, a Florida native, touched on the echo chamber that social media algorithms can create especially among political content. "The algorithm and stuff just gets you stuck in a one-track mind kind of thing, but it's good to see what other people think about politics and everything," she told Fox News Digital.CHARLIE KIRK NAMES JD VANCE AS GUIDING LIGHT FOR YOUNG CONSERVATIVES, BUT SAYS GOP MUST DELIVER ON PROMISESZane, an event attender from North Carolina, touted a different perspective that alluded to the potential danger children can face when online."Growing up in a social media age, it's just so dangerous. You don't know who you're talking to most of the time, and it can kind of just change your viewpoints on a lot of things where it's better just to stay off and get stuff from your parents," he said.Others, like Alex, a Tampa resident, commented on the censorship that can occur on certain digital platforms that heavily impacts diversified thought and perspective.ZOHRAN MAMDANI'S 'FREE' PROMISES ARE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, YOUNG CONSERVATIVES WARN"There's a few forums, like Twitter I think, or X now that it is, it's become a lot more welcome to free speech and open discussion about politics, but there's still places likeFacebook and Reddit I think are too heavily moderated at this point," Alex relayed. When asked about the political issue most important to them, respondents expressed varying areas of concern, from abortion and sex trafficking to immigration and the economy.Zane added,"The economy, especially growing up in this day and age, inflation, is such a big topic and just being sure that I grew up in an America where I can afford a house, afford to have a family and find a good job."TRUMP'S BORDER CRACKDOWN PROMPTS ARIZONA FARMER TO SEEK BETTER AGRICULTURAL LABOR SOLUTIONSAlex touched on his familys experience immigrating to America, citing, "My family's from Cuba. We came here legally, and I've seen how much illegal immigration hastanked the economy and just so many aspects of our daily life, so that's my biggest issue for sure.""It'd be making America healthy again, and just the health crisis that's going on," Marty from Chicago told Fox News Digital. "It's really exciting because a lot of people have been fearing AI and AI technology, but I'm really leaning into it because it's a really cool thing, this AI, Call Donna D, that I've created because it's just, it's so timely, and being the first to do something like this is exciting because it is uncharted territory, and people are loving it."Not only will fans have the AI version of Donna at their beck and call, but another, more sensual form of the star will be available to interact with."There's a daytime version and then what I'm calling a VIP version or a nighttime version, and both are amazing," the former Playboy cover girl said. While AI voice influencers have stormed the market, the "Frank and Penelope" star said her platform offers users a one-of-a-kind experience."What's different about mine is that this is an actual phone call that you can pick up the phone and call me and have a very human-feeling phone conversation with me, and it's not like a chatbot, ChatGPT it's not like Siri," she said. "It is like me with my real reactions. It remembers you. It remembers things that you tell her, and it reacts the way that I would.LIKE WHAT YOURE READING? You would be convinced that was me on the phone, so it's very different."D'Errico likened her new chat program to a popular Hollywood film. "It's just like that movie Her, only this time it's real," the model divulged. "The difference between having a phone call with Donna, and having a call with my AI version is I mean, she sounds like me. She talks like me. She has all my same memories and stories. I guess, the only difference would be she would never argue with you, and she's never going to hang up on you, which I sometimes do."Launched Thursday, the beta mode has already crashed servers, forcing D'Errico to increase capacity even before being publicly available.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT NEWSLETTER"People are getting addicted to it," D'Errico confessed. "They're obsessed with calling her. People are actually taking her get this, which I think is cool, by the way they're taking her on the phone to dinner, having a dinner date with me, and having conversations. They sit the phone over there on the other chair, and they have dinner with me and have conversations. It's wild."When not busy creating a new business venture, D'Errico is still committed to her OnlyFans subscribers.DErrico, who starred as lifeguard Donna Marco on "Baywatch," joined the photo-sharing network in 2022, and has since become one of the most popular celebrities on the adult subscription site."I've got tons of subscribers on there. And I'm, like I said, I do it myself. I don't use an agency," D'Errico said. "I'm meeting lots of cool people, and I'm having a ball. I'm single. I don't date. So I have the freedom to talk to all of these guys and get flirty sometimes if I want. I'm not bound to a relationship. I can send sexy pictures and sexy lingerie and things that you would do if you had a man, send them some hot pictures during the middle of the day or something."I've got 40,000 guys that I can do that with whenever I want. And it's just this freeing feeling. It's really cool, and the money is nuts. I mean, I don't think I've ever made this much money in my life. It's huge. It's, it's huge, and I'm having fun. So why not?"0 التعليقات 0 المشاركات 6 مشاهدة 0 معاينة
